welcome back to Bonanza disc golf today we are at Farmington some place in Northern Arkansas we're playing Creekside disc golf course and we're gonna be playing from the shorts because we're going to be taking a look at a disc that I think do gives him wanted to like fix some of his mistakes on that's a crosstalk up there but I'm lazy you just says there's like some tunnel shots here so I'm super excited for that and this is gonna be another bag at her Bennett we might need to change the name of the series to beat the bag because this is the Finish Line Supra if I remember correctly it's like five five negative point five one or something like that I'll put the right numbers on screen and we're going to be taking a look at it today against the mid-ranges that ibag in that straight slightly overstable slot which is the Pathfinder and the reason I say that Drew tried to like fix his mistake with these guys is that I did make a video right before the original Supra actually came out if you guys remember oh it's kind of glidy it might be less stable I think but these were very understable like pretty much Buzz SS not even really Buzz Marcus actually reached out to me he runs a lot of Drew Gibson's Finish Line stuff he didn't send me a Halo scepter like he sent Broderick so I guess he kind of hates me a little bit but he sent me out kind of these team Finish Line Supras this is in the composite plastic the more c-line-esque ones and that one is in the forged plastic which is more opaque which is why we're going to be comparing it to an an aura Pathfinder and the ethos Pathfinder that I'm bagging at the moment go in the basket it's kind of really glad it's maybe a touch less understable than a Pathfinder as well there it is too short now we all know that Drew or if you've watched him I guess you might know that Drew loves the butts and he had some pretty beat up buzzes that he was throwing now that he has his own company he's trying to probably refill his bag so he can just throw his own discs and make a lot more money this craft was never even paying him to throw the bus I don't think I kind of do have to respect him a little bit it seemed like the Supra wasn't what Drew had wanted the Supra to end up being and going back to the drawing board and actually retooling it and putting out a new one I think is pretty cool because not only is do the molds feel similar and I don't have the old one so I can't really tell it kind of feels like to me like they pushed like this Rim in a little bit and like it feels a little more concave on the underside so it gives a solid grip where like goes down on a diagonal on the inside definitely seems to be a little bit more stable it's a little less comfortable in my hand than the Pathfinder but there's so many great straight mids that I just basically picked the one that felt the best in my hand and so today we're going to be playing Best Shot doubles between Pathfinders and Supras and I guess this will be the first episode of beat the bag and if it does beat the bag then I'll give it away giveaways are always on my patreon and I guess this video is sponsored by my patreon so if you want to join it let's get on the whole one and give him some rips 338 feet straight through here this is not necessarily a mid hole kind of a forehand get stable well that's pretty solid oh that is a little flippier than than the Pathfinders the Supra definitely was a little bit flippier I wonder because like it looks pretty similar to how it used to be and part of that might be like if you look at the wing here it's a little bit like this one comes down and then goes downwards this one kind of just barely crests the top of the the flight plate and then I mean the Pathfinder definitely looks attached more understable but this looks a little blunter who knows or a Pathfinder versus forged retooled Supra too much yes okay so definitely a split beer they're in a little lower line a little bit better line but definitely want to flip up and start to turn over with that Pathfinder and maybe flip the flat sometimes does not really ever want to turn much decent shot with Pathfinder right in here are Supra it's way down here though first part of the day is a par let's get up all right hole number two good mid-range hole finally 297 feet just straight ahead perfect for straight mid-range honestly probably better for these Supras because out of the box they definitely seem to not want to finish as much as the Pathfinders but they both hold straight Pathfinder still has the box and this time we'll just go Pathfinder Pathfinder then super super so we can start to see the differences between them step and go in that's so good and it will definitely come out of it a bit those are really good now for the Supras oh no there we go that one I did throw in some hyzer go in stay up oh that's so good they seem to have pretty similar stabilities so far but I did shank the first one all right composite definitely just to pick up same with the ore Pathfinder I definitely thought that this was like right here just through the Gap I just should have probably walked up here and looked at it and seen how far it was past it I mean definitely like that one you saw a release on some hyzer and at least both of these flat to get them through the Gap and so those are pretty analogous shots just I'm kind of surprised that it's still not that stable I definitely thought that it would be like much more like an ESP Buzz which out of the box is relatively stable like so it could beat into a certain point but it seems like they they went up like one or two steps in stability when maybe they should have gone up three four five but I don't know I mean Drew does like throwing his hyzer flips so oh God I haven't practiced putting today we'll definitely say that I only made that part because it's two feet closer not that I warmed it up but the bag is beating the contender I really expected these to be more stable based on how they talked about your tooling because they're much more stable than the other ones but I'm like remembering the Flight of the other ones and you throw them on this much hyzer and they flip up the flat and maybe slightly turn were these ones I'm throwing them on just like my stock flat which is maybe like five or ten degrees of hyzer it's interesting three is pretty interesting it's 310 feet up and then to the left basically the middle of that clearing it just goes about 50 to 80 feet directly left I went up and looked at it so it looks like with these discs you have to kind of throw us High hyzer gets to flat and then starts pushing left as it finishes it can't really fall left because it's not gonna have enough speed so you kind of need to throw something that'll finish on hyzer so these ones I'm probably going to throw pretty hard on a lot of hyzer because they're probably going to flip up a decent bit I think my Pathfinders will flip up slightly as well it's not nearly as much I'm gonna start with that same ethos Pathfinder which has been kind of putting in some work today yeah no chance okay not as much flip up as I thought that would get maybe I should throw that ethos one I kind of get along with it yeah look how much more that thing flips up like that's just riding straight almost it's gonna finish but I need to put this on so much hyzer because that thing wrote up to like this level of flat okay bad shot oh actually it might be good no got caught once I get to like this level of Spike highs or my accuracy starts to go a little bit that's why I don't like throwing it like to stop her like into a gap definitely a shot I need to work on but both of those just really like they're not my origin level I'll throw an origin which this is probably close to that old Supra ah see like that's pretty similar that's a midnight prowl too that like flip up level is pretty similar that's that's surprising for the retooled one honestly it doesn't at all mean that it's a bad disc it just like makes me question either if there's like inconsistencies and I just got like the flippiest ones ever but they're the exact same or like does Drew need to go back to the drawing board again so we can again get something that lives up to his torque levels I don't throw that hard I really don't like I have very average mpo power if he's dripping these things like I can throw a mid-range 350 feet in an open field maybe a little bit more if he's ripping these 400 consistently like what level of Heiser does he have to put that on that's so confusing let's eat those Pathfinder also parked my origin the midnight Pro 2 which I'm gonna start throwing this as well as those Pathfinders I'm gonna continue throwing the Pathfinders because that's what I think this dislike wants to be more similar to I mean it definitely seems like it's more of an origin and I need to learn both my Pathfinders and origin so it's pretty solid this one that just Clips some stuff it just got it is so Flippy and I didn't appear to line so lost a lot of speed oh man get straight there we go two back that one is definitely well deserved this is the perfect straight mid-range hole and the perfect hole that like I very much need to work on right now 470 foot Par Four from the lights all the way down there to that basket retail Supra these will be available in public in one week the new version is much more Glide and really holds lines and shapes though that makes sense both Plastics in the configuration are awesome and reliable can't wait for you to try them out and give feedback four new molds coming as well interesting Drew said taking the buzz out of the bag slowly in the comments of this which is kind of confusing because I'd be like oh this is the disc that takes it out of your bag but that would lead me to believe that he probably has another more stable mid-range because maybe this prototype maybe like this is mold you just can't retool it to be stable enough for like what he wants or needs because initially they were like oh yeah we're making a more stable version of the Supra and in his post he just had more Glide and it has reliability not that it's more stable which that's confusing it makes me think that they kind of didn't nail what they wanted to or maybe realized it wasn't possible because the Pathfinder isn't like a super overstable straight mid-range just slightly overstable so I thought it'd be the perfect comparison and it is it is not okay if I need to continue working on this shot but that felt very nice let's go okay that one might be a little bit less stable not by a lot though kick right in the middle and these ones those are on like for me in order to think about throwing a flat shot which both of those probably came out almost dead flat I had to think about throwing in on like 10 or 15 degrees anhyzer because my brain is stupid forged Supra hyzer Flip It Up Gap wow it's still turning you're an insane disc you're not what I expected at all okay see like out of my hand I was like oh shoot that's going in the woods nope just straight down the middle but midnight Route 2 is so money okay Midnight Pro 2 definitely seems a little bit more stable or a little bit less stable sorry that's right Echo Destroyer get a straight skip come on come on ah I'm not far enough I think what I noticed differentiates the Supras to this origin is the late flight stability so once it gets slightly past the mid flight this kind of wants to continue turning and then there's like maybe pan to Flat those ones start to get a little bit more like too flat and then finish because the Annie Gap definitely like shapes a little bit better for this Gap here it's like keep the height around that tree and then Flex around I'm like 100 feet back of where my Pathfinders are but this should be really good to just throw it flat to the left and like pan down towards the basket throwing power down they won't turn as much maybe it's just like a lot of high speed turn because that origin will turn at a slower speed and go forever goes so far this is why everyone says to throw mids in the woods because this is my or Pathfinder this is my ethos Pathfinder and then this only like 40 feet ahead maybe 30 feet ahead is my Destroyer you still have to use some of your arm though Anthony oh dang it looks like you just popped better if you threw a Pathfinders I guess 290 feet Straight Ahead the Pathfinder still got the box to get here we got to go talk to Anheuser I want this flight from a beaten Pathfinder I don't have it yet I don't want to add this to the bag it's not like the most comfortable disc in my hands personally it's not uncomfortable but like I definitely prefer the flight of a Pathfinder I might just have to play a bunch of Woods golf with one of these and throw it in enough trees that it gets beat in laughs too flat really good if I'm trying to Ace run it and throw a little long that's a little Touch Too Much I think that one is getting more beaten because that's the one that's been on my bag for this tournament season but I think this is the flight throwing I think this on my stock hyzer is trying to throw it quote unquote flat will be really good yep and also like they said it added Glide I feel like it's just because it's like has some increased torque resistance so you can throw a little bit harder I think it adds like high speed Glide I don't feel like it's a particularly glidy mid-range though honestly oh gosh how are we doing that hi now the origin that disc is so good dude yeah it's like that late flight like it looked like the super flight for the start and it just kept gliding to the right and didn't really come back so I think that's the main difference between those couple honestly a little shorter than I expected it to be I thought they'd be closer to parked based on the power I was throwing it at I did also like I stopped into something called the secret lab which is at Dynamic disc in Kansas City I got like I used like the tech disk thing that you might have seen on OTB and like saw and noticed that my like hyzer releases were significantly about five miles per hour less than my Anheuser releases definitely seems easier for me to get power throwing on anhyzer solid birds around all right hold three here you can see the red peeking out right there it's 311 feet so kind of like the edge of like my comfortable mid-range in the woods distance it still probably is a mid for me up to anywhere from like 320 to 3 30. if it has the right shape otherwise it needs to be a fairway and this does have a good shape for my hyzer apparently there's Obi in a creek just past it so maybe you want to even keep it a little bit short pathys still have the box thank you seems pretty good I'm not a thousand percent sure threw it like a little high through the Gap so that it would stall a little bit I'm gonna try to put on a touch more hyzer and see if it'll like pop up yeah ish and like you saw maybe like want to like sneak up not like pop-up but like it kind of like was sneak in there yeah sit down that's a really good like pushing hyzer disc yeah dude okay that might be a little bit of a difference the forged one which was true between the arrows as well the forged one seems to be a little bit less stable a little more understable the composite Supra is definitely the most stable so far old Supras which were I think all four Supra more understable than this and this is kind of in the middle so if you throw Supras you got a good range just right out the box but I do think that like the limitations of this mold mean that Drew's gonna have to make a completely new mold of a mid-range to get that overstable mid that he probably wants or slightly overstable like not even up to his kotoku level but just like what a buzz is great shot this Pathfinder has like very little of a look but it's closer and a cool putt I think the Pathfinder has gotten everything except for the first hole which is a fairway driver shot so pretty happy with that all right shout out TJ met him on the course today he told me that if I wanted to be a real Pro these are his exact words if you want to be a real Pro and not a lame poser like you are you got to be like Ganon Burr and throw it through the slats so we're gonna go one that is like probably the intended 330 foot turnover line honestly we'll probably throw all three all four of these normal but then we'll just we'll just put one through the slots right now honor big time just flat through the slots yes seven did it go anywhere got this lots of Mario pro now he took seven tries now let's throw the actual shot yeah me and that ethos Pathfinder kind of get along right now oh no I keep swinging my arm through that one it's still almost there but not and then these are gonna be tough I feel like I have to actually Hazard flip these which requires a lot of commitment foreign that's so flippy dude why are you that's that's crazy I hope it's just that one this one I'm gonna put higher than that okay that one is turning good kick out the interesting that forged is significantly flippier maybe it just beats in faster but I feel like they started out similar the second one was a little more nose up but they're good discs this is not what I expected okay I need to learn the flip points of that thing bye bye I think we're pretty close to parks with both of the Pathfinders drop in oh I think the cool thing too is I can't even blame the good shots of the ethos Pathfinder I'm like throwing another one first this has been the first one I've thrown every time we got OB just past the baskets 311 feet down there I really like the distances of the short tease here because they're great like little mid-range holes are like long mid-range holes that make you think hoping that I can get the glide on these right because these definitely seem a little touchier than the Pathfinders oh too much we finally strayed with that guy foreign pathy yeah sit down Mrs left because we gotta look at it forward so this one's gonna be real Flippy turn okay wow that's still kind of wanting to turn that one is crazy bad shot I don't know if I'm just not hitting my hyzers right but when I throw these really deep hyzers I think I just I'm not getting as much power and I don't know exactly why but nothing's really flipping over and riding like I wanted to so less hyzer luckily this one is definitely more stable still Flippy because that was slight Highs are out of the hand it's close to down there just kind of diving towards the ground instead of gliding on that anhyzer let's see if we beat up this honor at all oh maybe a little bit my forehand sucks so I could just be off axis torque but I was gonna get there it's kind of sick they got little circle markings on this hole it's kind of a kind of a nice course I'm excited to play alongs in a second after I drain this Tailwind let's go oh hey the super finally clawed one back too bad there's only one hole left and I'm pretty sure it's down by like 18 Strokes so all right finishing off a little 203 foot shot Obi Creek long baskets just on the left side of that so A Touch of Annie out of the hand so it'll kind of Glide down there and push towards the basket keep pushing baby hyzer just glide on the hyzer yeah pretty solid these ones definitely have to be a touch more Annie yep get back left get back left maybe a little lower it was lower these are not what I expected and I just like I said I wonder if it's limitation of the mold I think they're gonna have to make another mid-range that competes with like these five five zero one-ish maybe this is trying to be that like negative one one but it just seems like an origin with a little bit more finish at least this one does this one is closer the composite one definitely more stable than the old ones maybe what they'd expected maybe my expectations were off I've been saying that this whole video but solid disc if you want to check out the last bag of minutes other mid-ranges that we've tested check it out right down there more beat the bag is gonna come but no giveaways today because Pathfinders are crushing it kind of want to throw this one in a bunch more trees though so we'll see if that happens subscribe more videos coming okay love you bye oh gosh oh there's a picture
