I Designed a Course to Test The MVP Glitch [Glitch vs Berg] // Battle of the Best 1 Speed Discs

welcome back to Bonanza disc golf this is whole one of a nine hole course that I built to specifically test out the MVP glitch that was weird MVP did a really great job marking this disc it's supposed to be just like a catch disc but you warm up with your friends but its numbers are one seven zero zero it's PDGA approved and it's all in lightweight so this is 146 Grand I want to see how this thing actually flies but I was visiting some family at a cabin in the woods so I've created a nine hole course that we're gonna be able to play out here but we can't just compare this disc against itself that would be boring so instead I got my hands on one of my least favorite discs at least feel wise the Berg basically the exact opposite of this disc obviously they're gonna fly different that's not the point of this video it's just to see if we can beat par with both of them and if I can't beat par with both of these discs I have Anthony Held hostage down at the lake and he's gonna have to jump in hello it's so cold if I can't be par with both of them but I do want to see which one will win also you're going to want to stay around for a whole nine because whole nine is ridiculous and it's kind of right by where I'm keeping the other Anthony hostage I haven't thrown either of these discs or any discs in a couple days so this will be an interesting way to start off one is 236 feet slightly uphill there at the end so I think we should be able to reach it and just like any great course designer I have named all these holes the first hole being named this video is sponsored by flippy disc golf more about that as the video goes on interesting naming system but we'll see how it pans out just feel wise this thing is like straight down but I do like that it's more rounded than like a polecat that I felt I haven't looked up to see how this thing flies I imagine you're gonna have to put a lot of spin on it and a lot of hyzer because I'm guessing it's flippy because it's lightweight mm-hmm wow that is so gladi and not as flippy as I thought that also did not go super far I think because it's a one speed like any one speed they're not going to want to go very far let's try to rip over on the Berg get it up there oh I do that so much harder and I don't even think it's as far yeah they're like right on top of each other interesting hole to start out with don't worry these holes are more designed for these type of discs so the lengths will reflect that that being said though I did not make it easy for myself on this challenge to be par every single hole because I like to challenge myself has a little bit of extra difficulty and some funkiness to it so one problem is the freaking course designer didn't like make everything pretty and nice over here so there's lots of little twigs and Thorns that you got to watch out for foreign oh that looked good and now it's for the Glitchy boy also outside the circle that's crazy those are so close but such different flights I think the glitch handles more torque though than I give it credit for because initially I thought I was just gonna flip Turn and Burn I did throw it a little nose up so we'll have to see how far no no two left and high all right as long as we don't take bogeys I'm happy this is a thorny place hole two is our first real opportunity to get something interesting going on in terms of scoring Hole 2 is named the flippy disc golf is now stocked up with high quality hoodies and beanies and let me definitely attach this is like the nicest hoodie I've ever personally worn but Flippy's now stocked with all that on their website so if you want to get out during the winter or just wear something comfortable during the winter months while supporting disc golf based companies flippy disc golf is the place to go this hole is 350 feet Par Four we're going all the way up this hill and then 100 feet pushed back in like a very tight walking pathway that hasn't been maintained because course designer doesn't know how to maintain stuff apparently if we can get to the top of the hill we might get a look for birdie but playing this thing for a four definitely could be a good thing to do oh no kick back hey it's a good kick that thing was gliding up there this is going to be tough I'm gonna have to try to forehand that probably next all right briggy boy oh wow smack the Gap but still went left because I put it on hyzer Fairway though gonna be quite honest with you seeing as though this is my first time in the course I have no idea the right shot from here we have a low ceiling right up here and then I still can't see the basket okay it's up and around the corner this is awesome all right glitch we'll see how it handles some forehand torque I'm gonna try to hit the high Gap so it keeps gliding interest oh that's so Glady and nice I probably rolled a bit now we're going Berg same line just forced over anhyzer because even that one forced over that little bit it's so glad he just keeps going this one might find out of it a little actually I'm gonna Juice It Low just so it penetrates because if I throw it higher it's going to hit those branches oh it got kicked back into the Fairway missed my line a little bit outside but we should be able to get up and down for par at least oh no way all right my glitch shot was awesome here is the Burke the glitch is right up there in the basket we're finally able to actually see it let's see right down here basket straight back there this is a nice little Par Four did a good job with this come on boogie boy oh I got knocked down that was pretty solid but easy par and the glitch has the opportunity to take the lead no oh one thought I left that high hole three is a nice easy 144 feet through some sort of Ferry that's down there there's actually two lanes you can go with a little forehand Flex down the left side or kind of try to go straight at it down the right which might be the bird play as long as you get inside the circle you're going to have a look but it's probably going to be obstructed this is the flippy disc golf also offers custom hoodies jerseys hey editor Anthony can you go ahead and uh little forehand hyzer Gap seems a little more dangerous but it's Glady enough that it'll probably just push on this hyzer come on baby Get Lucky good kick that was not the Gap I was going for is a little left but it's down there I think Berg just pump it straight on some hyzer it'll finish a little bit foreign get it oh that was going down the hill it is death back there also on those custom jerseys orders and everything there's no minimum order and there is an in-house graphic designer in case you need any help with either getting a logo situated or just kind of perfecting it and even some ideation things so if you don't exactly know what you want but you have a general idea they can also help with that all right I will say this is one of the prettier disc golf courses I've ever played on don't know if we have a look though ah all right the bird can go up one here oh actually there's no look there yeah this is the look actually this is through this little Gap here a little football okay oh baby let's go we got a birdie a birdie no one's ever said that before in their lives here we have hole four which is a 448 foot par five we'll be able to show you more of the hole as we chunk it out with these discs but the first little bit is just down this Gap then you see the house all the way down there there's a Mando on the right most post you got to go around that and then all the way up the driveway another like 150 feet hopefully we can get out of this initial Gap this is mainly the reason it's a par five all these hanging limbs right here it's not a clear line of sight honestly maybe you gotta try a roller with both of them Burgers up first because it actually got the bergy oh oh my gosh no don't curl into that crap it curled into that crap but we gotta look we are not in position to attack this Mando though this one I think I'm gonna try airshot I'm very very very nervous and in case you didn't know this hole is called flip you just because of how difficult it is and they can't cost on the internet and it's flippy disc golf so flip you more about flippy disc golf on the next hole but they won't say flip you especially if you visit the link in think for it being a one speed and zero zero and throwing it hard it just kind of held that turnover line and because it's so glad he just kind of stayed in the air instead of getting to the ground that's a good sound effect maybe this should be a part four we'll see Anthony's sake here's the Berg we got a couple options here we just go big hyzer backhand but I think the play is honestly Anheuser forehand does make me nervous to miss the Mando though but I don't really have a good hyzer unless I'm putting my arm in all these thorns foreign oh yeah oh sit down no that's it I keep throwing in the crap dude what a freaking bomb with this glitch I mean not actually it's only like 230 feet but I can see the basket up there I think we're gonna go forehand again try not to allow it to flip up could definitely just be an Anheuser backhand shot kinda want to throw the forehand though well I'm no Eagle for me oh that's such a crappy shot we can still get up and down for birdie kind of made this a soft par that's all right I'll take that all right we gotta line into the basket right here give a little step out forehand that's fine hole number five here is awesome because there's a tiny tiny gap between those two big trees and between that tree and to the left so we're playing between either of those gaps or however you can punch through this thing and there is the basket right behind the tree to the right that's the pretty big one I'm not necessarily gonna be the easiest hole but it is the flippy disc golf genuinely has made the comfy sweatshirt that I've ever worn whole these whole names are getting kind of funky but I like it Berg is still up first and I think it's definitely a Berg forehand I don't think it'll Glide much in there but we might be able to get a look thank you get around it oh baby that's all right now we're going to glitch on a backhand line I'm excited for this shot because there's finally good airspace to like air it out and see how it moves back whoa go in that's such a good flight like I don't know if I would ever bag of that especially with it so light and there is no wind today which makes it the perfect day to actually be testing this disc I'm just stoked I hit that line that's a really tight Gap here we go glitchy boy foreign this whole is called to be honest with you I really wanted to work at slippy disc golf since can't really give anything else off this next hole I designed as a usdgc like hole to break my spirits hopefully not hopefully I can make it happen this hole is only 70 feet but you have to rethrow until you get it inside of the fire pit that's the island Berg is up first this is either a throw or a jump putt I'm gonna try jump up first not excited though shoot shoot I had one to give up there so it's not the end of the world let's see if we can get there with the glitch come on no no okay gonna be throwing three this is not making me excited this is why I feel Justified to make another one of par five the glitch needs to make this okay come on boogie boy drop it let's go it's gonna be a bogey but Bogey's better than what it could be get there oh let's go saving par let's freaking go oh my gosh Berg for the bogey they're both down one oh what a shot wow that was so much better than I thought it was gonna be well number eight is the Calm before the storm we're playing from right here where there is OB just past the basket everything passes all the manicure grass including some logs over here are going to be OB and we're going to be playing from all the way back here 241 feet away this is really going to give us an interesting test of my speed control because I can't go past the basket but I also do want to get another birdie glitch got a part in the last one so we're going here first I am very concerned with the glitch mostly because the problem with glider discs is you need to have a lot more speed control which is also called touch than like something like a bird which helps you in that aspect oh no why did I think I could throw that that hard at least I went OB over the basket maybe I should have made that play as Hazard but we're calling it OB we'll take apart probably it went right over the basket it's definitely going to be a part did I do it too oh just out of bounds sometimes you think because it's one speed you can't handle a lot but then you throw it like that and then you realize that you're just maybe bad par we're going to be moving a little bit closer to the lake for this shot maybe check in with editor Anthony real fast oh gosh I hope you won hey man how you doing you see what I'm wearing I'm wearing the shortest I could I'm freezing yeah I bet you're not wearing a flippy disc golf hoodie you're probably not very warm are you at least playing good uh down one on both of them right now so that's it gotta beat par and I'm thinking about making it even more difficult for myself because this one's gonna be a part five no dude you're throwing one speed 700 feet why are you gonna don't change that I don't want to go in the water well hope you can stay warm I gotta go play this hole can at least have your beanie or something no okay thank you for nothing all right we are going all the way up there to a 700 foot finishing hole it's actually only like 680 feet I ranged it but we'll call it 700 because it sounds cooler here do it in four so if either of these doesn't make par he's going in the water the basket we can't see all the way down into the left and it is right by the water so I'm gonna have to put it close to make sure I make a putt which is why I made this a par four because it's windy and it's close enough to a death putt to make you feel something still got the glitch first our wind is kind of a tail so I'm gonna try to put it on Anheuser high and see how far it'll fly oh wow so Glide but still a one speed so so short okay that makes me very nervous for this Berks gonna again put it on Anheuser line oh no I'm so nervous do that one a little more down the hill wow it's gonna be farther no pretty similar that's so interesting I did have to throw that hard and I threw it more down the hill which helps it to get farther but they've been going similar enough distances which I would not have expected I would have expected the brick to go a lot shorter but I guess that shows the one speed is more important than the seven Glide it just has different flight characteristics all right I'm gonna be honest I think making this a four was a little bit ambitious but no take backs because you can barely see the basket over on that right side around the corner and we're back here as long as we can get ourselves an open look to get up and down I'm pretty happy oh stay up stay up stay up step low release oh that's really bad that's really low Burger can throw much higher and I'm more hyzer wow that was such a bad release for that shot much better stay off of the okay I don't think I could throw that far enough to hit the water on that line so I think we're safe but this is going to be one of the most important up and downs for my bodily safety editor Anthony's bodily safety in a while this is where I'll say it the Berg would be a better disc to throw here I want to put it in front of the table I mean obviously underneath it but beyond the table there is like maybe 15 feet this wind is a little crazy I think I have to go turn over forehand no way did I do it that's all right I'm very impressed with how that holds its line like it doesn't fade but I will have to make that putt that's gonna be scary all right Berg here much easier up and down sit oh thank you the forehand has so much more torque than the backhand that thing was flying even though it was a Berg scary two pots to make this is for par elevated basket my favorite oh come on baby yes yes yes yes all right if that leg wasn't there I probably would hit these rocks but it'd be close final putt this was such a fun
