welcome back to Banana disc golf as you can probably tell with the big rig in the background today's video is gonna be a little different we are at a course that is currently in development actually a couple courses a property that's in development I haven't played around just myself a full 18 holes just my bag in a very long time so I'm pretty excited for this video also this video is brought to you by flippy disc golf who by partnering with me allows me to travel and do things like this supporting them which you'll hear more about later would be really helpful for me thank you hey so we're with Steve is this Steve Boylan is that your last name yeah okay that makes sense because it's called boiling acres here you want to tell us a little bit about the property my wife and I we bought the property back in 2019. it was a 68 acre thorn bush first course went in 2020 second course 2021 this winter we're gonna be putting in a beginner course every hole between 70 and 150 feet a back behind you over here we're putting our Pro Shop we are allowed to do camping here now it's good for me I freaking live there so it's perfect another thing we're building right here is a 40 by 80 Pavilion so when we do host events uh it's gonna be pretty special I know a lot of private courses are kind of going up like you have The Preserve and then you have like the Eagles Crossing like where do you kind of see this property lining up with something like those it's its own animal our courses is so diverse um we get the extreme course what's special about it is it's it's between 40 and 50 flights of elevation just one regular arduous is a you know it's hard it's longer and it does have some tight lines through the woods but it does have some really phenomenal holes that you can really bomb on four holes all together under 200 feet for the two courses but other than that you know you're going to be challenged on a lot of par fours and Par fives I do want to play both courses today which one do you think I should play first uh I would suggest doing extreme first it'll get to your legs so what would you say on Extreme is like a good score I think seven down this last weekend in a small event and that was a 10 20 round five could be a thousand five under on each one each one should be a thousand all right I'm pumped thanks so much man thank you foreign here we are at a beast of a whole one for our starting Hall 584 feet double Mando between here there is a pond to the right side and the basket is kind of tucked back into the woods unlike a little Peninsula a little Ridge they don't be either side of kind of just want to juice one out there to get started there's a little headwind so I think we're gonna go Grace and just put it out there in the middle and the wind should stop it from letting it go into the parking lot which is also OB all right that's all right pretty good probably about 360 380 maybe I don't know we'll see all right the basket as you can now see on this part four is straight down through there it looks like it slopes really bad over there though so I kind of think a turnover might be the right shot and that's those in just got to miss those trees it could be a forehand somebody wants to throw a bird I think I'm gonna throw up here gotta keep it low and driven I think this is gonna be a really challenging course that's pretty close to what I wanted a little bit more fade would be nice but I mean I'll take that all day I missed everything all right it's pretty nice we got these little circle markers so I know that I'm inside the circle here take a putt get a birdie let's go hey if you guys don't know a lot about my story or if you're new to the channel my name is Anthony I live and travel full-time in advance which initially wasn't for disc golf I picked up disc golf in the van back in January of this year I've been traveling full-time on the road getting better training and now my goal is to cash at a Pro Tour event so I have a lot of videos about training for that disc reviews going and playing awesome courses like this so let's get on the hole too and subscribe please like the video appreciate you 've got a nice little size for a hole too which is 196 feet and it's called created out of necessity which is the perfect time to talk about the sponsor which is also created out of necessity fluffy disc golf if you don't know flippy disc golf they create some of the best disc golf apparel out there like this hoodie this beanie as well as jerseys which are also customizable for you your business I might be having some come out with them soon or your disc golf club or Ultimate Team on their website they recently released all their hoodies and beanies because as it's getting colder out like I wouldn't be out here if it wasn't for this I do have other sweatshirts but this is genuinely the most comfortable kind of thick but mostly just fleece on the inside sweatshirts that I've ever worn don't think I've really taken it off much in the past week since I've gotten it to be honest with you you can also customize your hoodies or your jerseys like I said earlier but if you don't know exactly what your logo wants to be but you have an idea they have an in-house graphic design team that can work with you to bring that to life and there's no minimum order on any of their custom purchases as I always say these sponsorships are what allow me to continue playing disc golf making greater and greater videos for you guys and stay on the road traveling so that eventually can get to the Pro Tour so if you go down in the link in the description you have a link and if you use code badanza 10 you'll get 10 off whatever you want to order from flippy disc golf and you'll let them know that you came from my channel which will help me to work with them and more brands in the future so that we can make the best disc golf and most creative content that we possibly can alright Hole 2 does look a little crazy because it's straight through there it is a par 3 196 feet you can't take a big hyzer out if you want to or just try to go straight up the gut maybe it looks like there is kind of a gap on this right side that might be able to finish up there what a crazy looking hole all right I think we're gonna go razor claw 3 on a forehand line and if we miss the trees and Skip up I think we should give ourselves a putt oh no oh keep going oh no ah dude this course is insanity look at this thing this is so cool it is definitely extreme oh where is the bat where's oh there it is and you even have Circle marks down here which is cool all right if anything you gotta Miss up just outside the circle you see the little whiskers right there oh just low Bang Bang Bang Bang on hole three all right hole three we have Let It Fly 423 feet all the way down there the logs and the gravel Mark the OB so it's got to be pretty tight shot a little nerve-wracking to potentially give up a birdie this early could play it for par but I wanna I want that five down if I want to shoot a thousand raid around probably not playing for bar all the time all right get Stabler foreign let's go it's gonna be a little short that was sick that was so cool all right we put it inside the circle come on bang bang let's go wow this is so fun all right here we are at hole number four 260 feet I know exposure is a lot but that's because it's in the woods up that Gap 260 wind pushing us a little bit this way called pick your poison so there must be a second line maybe there's like a big hyzer line I'm just gonna try to go up the middle what's up dude we got another buddy at 260 it definitely could be a putter I think I'm gonna throw my emac truth could also be a mind Bender because I have that in the bag right now for this type of shot but I haven't thrown it as much and I'm really trying to score well here no I actually really liked the mind on the shop we're gonna do that a little bit right oh oh sit on the outside all right that's actually the best case scenario for rolling out of there that stinks of course I just gotta trust my gut man that's parked I gotta trust my God left yourselves a little bit the problem with playing everything blind is I never know where stuff is especially ground action oh my my MX truth is sitting under the pan of the basket oh my gosh Anthony just trust yourself dude so I think we're gonna go a little forehand action and believe it or not I put a bird in the bag I'm annoyed too oh it's a good enough disc don't convince me look at this it's still closer than the Berg this also shows me that I don't need the Mindbender because the reason it was in my bag is for shots like this and I have the fuse for flippier shots so that's good to know trust yourself man throw in seconds fine on the fork welcome to hope5 called sucker bet so uh they recommend that you send a spotter don't quite have one of those so hopefully we can park it I gotta eat some food so I can get through this course oh cool hole I could go forehand but it's not actually that far downhill because it's down and then back up so I'm kind of thinking I'm gonna throw my grace on a little bit of Anheuser so it just Stables out at the end and hits the hill it's a very touchy shot though now get stable come on you can do it foreign that's fine if that didn't hit that limb that was going to be right there also I like how I'm like encouraging my disc I really hope I'm not inside the circle yes all right here we go hole six which is called just throw 311 but it's 369 feet where is it oh my gosh it's actually kind of perfect because it's down and to the left I thought a kid just yelled at me and it was a literal kid like goat kid if you skip right here around this pole or start to hyzer right here you should be good I think to make that happen I'm gonna throw a little bit flippier of a disc which is a beaten Explorer don't ask what happened to my recycled explorer that way it flips up a little and then finishes and I don't have to throw it super super hard now get on edge hey that's bad this is my first like really bad shot of the day I feel because instead of throwing it 311 I think I threw it like 250. all right the basket's right down there so around this let it hit hope it doesn't skip I didn't even get far enough to be able to see it foreign that's pretty solid I threw that so light I could have thrown it a little harder I think I've got like a 15 20 foot putt part down welcome to Hole seven The Road Less Traveled it is a 573 foot par five so there is Eagle potential here but that might cause you to get a little too aggressive because the roadway is OB you really just gotta hit the Fairway down there I'm gonna try to bite off maybe a little more than I should but we are going to throw that same explorer that we did last time I would throw a river because we're just trying to fight up this Gap but the river is going to turn a little bit too much to the right and I'd rather be left side because I can scramble out there since it is a part five this is probably one where I should go up there and take a look at it but lots of fun in there oh my goodness gracious Anthony oh my gosh I piped that let's go hey we got the gold train I need you guys to be here just in case I get hit by these goats what is up with all these things that's so cool what's up goats what's up can you bow for me oh don't eat my hands is crazy so cool all right basket's gonna be a little tough to see but it is basically straight ahead of us up there my drive and it kind of right by where that tree is leaning out so if we can manage to Pure the second shot we can give ourselves a look for the three it's gonna be a super technical shot which scares me a tiny bit but we got our drive right here I mean maybe if the stable's up there a little bit more I'll be a little happier but I don't know if the rain Turner is going to work with so many trees looks like about 250 in but it's very tight so since I really don't have the room actually I can swing a flip up shot there maybe even a putter but I like the mid play because it gives me a little bit more opportunity to get up the hill and it's still a slow enough disc that it's not gonna get massive kicks because we got two more shots to get up and down for birdie from here the more obvious shot might be this that forehand flexor with the Fairway driver but that brings more this is not easy I also don't need all of it oh no I'll get through oh that was my line just high oh that was gonna be very very good problem with that too is it just smacked me all the way back down that's not the end of the world because I do have a turnover shot up to the pin does slope away so I might want to be on the right side that was like four feet could have had an eagle but easy Birdie's fine how far did I push oh never mind heck yeah here we go hole number eight called Orphan Annie 588 foot Par Four up the gut here and then all the way to the right kind of by where we teed for the hole that I had like really bad Shadow I think it was well six man I want an eagle that's so bad could be a big turnover that finishes into that field with my river which is what I think I'm gonna throw or just a big forehand I do need to range this okay it's only 340 to those woods all the way over there so it could be a big forehand shot which will have a more penetrating finish to the right so I'm really between my grace and my River I think I want to practice this forehand I think I'm pretty good at it and then the river I just don't know how much it'll finish or if it finish too much I think the grace is a little bit more consistent of a play from here right now which is cool because it's the forehand I'm not normally great at this oh my gosh I'm getting way better at those holy cow that hit that tree on the fly at 3 40. oh my gosh let's go the basket that we're looking at is in these trees over here I honestly pushed it a little long which I didn't expect we wanted to come in here which have been a much more hyzer line so I think I need to just throw a big hyzer in the Gap is right through here or filter try to filter through everything this is going to be one where I have to make a big putt for the birdie but I can easily take a par so I just don't want to make the mistake of trying something too big and then forcing myself to do a weird scramble I might just need to do a double layup unfortunately but that's not as fun for the video get through get through get through I heard stuff all the way over there that can't be it I thought it's just this is gonna be interesting luckily my disc is right down there you'll be able to see it kind of down at the base there and the basket is straight through there so we can still definitely get up and down I just heard discs like flying all the way back there and I was so worried then I got up to this Gorge luckily it wasn't my stuff so I'm gonna set you guys by the basket and I was just coming up here to like position you buy the basket look at all these cars in the back here just like what these are so neat huh okay it's not actually crazy I have a lane I thought I was way farther down there than I was oh don't die don't die that's why you signed the waiver folks forehand turnover up the hill miss the tree shoot I should have laid up like a smart person but I don't want it to make a good video dang it I just missed that oh my gosh let's go yes yes Save the part I did not want to pick a bogey there oh so good I wouldn't have made that if it wasn't for my beautiful golf hoodie and flippy disc golf hat get one of yours at the link in the description with code to dance at 10 for 10 off thank you we're at hole nine the end of the front nine is called finger pop it's 300 feet down this hill and then to the right but there is a river kind of creaking that plays all along it and if you're just surrounded by water you are OB I'm gonna go razor claw I think I don't know if I can get this that far but it is very very downhill just don't put it in the water oh my gosh yes get over everything that might be really really really really really really good all right I don't think I would say really really really really really really good especially because there's kind of a death putt here but where are the whiskers oh I'm inside the circle he's serious dude that felt like a pretty good putt hey at least I ran it you know gosh dang it first go get around not gonna let affect me because I like that putt I think we're down a couple on the front which is pretty solid I went from a birdie to a bogey real fast front nine stats real fast stupid four down two three birdies and a bogey not bad playing this blind uh let's get through his back nine and hopefully get a couple more birdies these two courses on this property were so incredible we're having to split it up over four videos tomorrow we're gonna finish up extreme and then next week we're gonna do arduous so subscribe for the back nine which will be live tomorrow and while you're here please subscribe to the channel and like the video if you did if you want to see another really cool course and a challenge that I did there watch this video it's one of the cooler courses that I played it's actually out in Montana but
