My 1st Ever Round in Charlotte was a DISASTER!

I'm going to try to do something a little bit crazy uh I was supposed to be flying out of the Charlotte airport in about 45 minutes However unfortunately my connecting flight which sucks that I had to have a connection anyways uh was in initially going to get in at midnight and then it just got delayed 2 to 3 hours so I've be getting it at 2: a.m. and I was like gosh this sucks whatever my wife maybe she'll want to snag me she'll have to like get up the baby and do all that stuff and picked me up from the Denver Airport at 2: a.m. and luckily United offered free changes so I was able to change my flight to tomorrow morning and I'll get into Denver now at 9:00 a.m. 9:50 so we're going to try to rip through an 18old course here in Charlotte flip here I just had to put my whole bag together cuz I'm just trying to fit everything in two carry-ons which is a little insane but the closest kind of champion level 18 whole course was Renaissance gold which I've heard things about because I've heard things about a lot of Charlotte courses but I've never played and I've actually never played in North Carolina the qualifier at uscgc today was in South Carolina this one there is a par 70 average is 82 so 12 over 18 whole course um this is going to be interesting cuz we have 30 minutes until the sunsets hold's a 510t par 4 my goal is shoot under par I think I also was going to grab dinner on my way to the airport and didn't have time because of traffic so we're running on fumes and fun and first B obviously I'm playing 100% blind so I don't even know if like even par or whatever is good I don't even know if I'll be able to finish today okay hole one 510 ft up the hill no warm-ups don't need them feel great maybe a little flipper Emperor touch a heer up there get to the Rock maybe we got to rip it one shot and hope we play well honestly one of the craziest things about winr today is just different everything flies from how I'm used to thrown it in Denver since I couldn't really have a practice round okay right behind that tree out there looks like there might be some H be long maybe just try to smooth a MV or Pathfinder see like that would have faded so much more in front of that tree and I thought I almost nailed it cuz the extra Glide but should have a pup for Birdie on one I like the look of that start P two looks we're going to the gold basket which is probably why this is Renaissance Park gold I would guess 519 o right part of me wants to like just go for it but that's kind of silly 343 to the white basket and I see there's OB that way I don't see anything about a Mando though throw a stable Emperor just throw that over the top Play It's kind of cheating but I don't see any mandoos or anything anyway should be perfect yeah loving it okay I'm now a little nervous that the Obi is bigger than I thought if it's like steak ALC of do OB be whatever looks OB is great but I'm safe over here on the left side perfect little heer just smooth little up shot and we're chilling what to throw what to throw what to throw this is like right between the putt range you know what I might try to putt it there but try to air on the the left side just in case watch my feet for the foot F perfect let's go no footfall either it does look like all this stuff is actually safe and it's just those Stakes which L on the OB so even if you roll down there's a potential of safety I was thinking everything not on this hill is safe doesn't seem to be the case luckily I put it close cuz uh this is not a short man's basket two through two on three oh this is what we're looking for baby whole three par 4 386 let's go to get a look it's got to be a flexing forehand or a late flip backhand you already know push the Sphinx on a lot of Hiser I don't even know if the look for two is there but a lot of Highs are a lot of fun oh oh that's the sound you like to hear in the woods maybe should have been a flex forehand but we got a par four so pitch up take a birdie I actually like that line a lot so to hit that initial Gap just didn't iser enough honestly probably either a fire or a Zone to the basket straight through this way get around it ah fold it inside might have a putt though oh it's a fun little short par 4 pretty fair par 4 too you can maybe give yourself a long look but it's pretty guarded so I like that go on a golf is fun all right 524 par 4 T sign says 551 and it just looks dead straight there's OB right somewhere looks like on there it's a little turn and then fade so we'll uh throw my flipp your Emperor right now punch it slight higher flat see if we can get some good drift and maybe give ourselves a look at Eagle turn more come on oh I need to flip your disc oh I threw that perfect exactly how I wanted to I just thought it was flipp earier dang I had an iel emper that I thought about bringing out but I can't have that many discs luckily I think I cleared 4:30 pretty easy so we should have some sort of up and down for a birdie so much more downhill than I thought the basket's straight down there honestly if I was able to like roll down I might have a long putt I just needed a slight bit more drift I think flat out of my hand does almost what I want but it probably turns too early so oh yeah baby rolled all the way down the hill first eagle look at the round but that OB drop off is a little scary uhoh good it what do you call it when you go from an eagle to a par instead of a birdie to a bogey eagar just doesn't sound as good as bogy not even going to lie I'm going to smash some Taco Bell after this like the three cheese burritos or whatever like $3 menu all that beef the beefy cheese it's my jam rough one to film here but 360 par 4 dude it's all Par Four let's go uh up and left somewhere this goes at 392 hopefully another eagle look on this hole this is like the speediest round i' ever played in my life turn more yes oh that's perfect sneaky Gap let's go pretty stoked with this if it's an eagle you got to run it even if the putts been feeling wonky cuz that's electric let's freaking go baby what a two come on I'm HED man running around too fast but I mean hey first Eagle in North Carolina 238 up next looks like the basket's right there thinking Envy sorry think ESP Zone oh this is like a cardio test just try to play at 30 left and make a putt or just park it oh that's perfect let's go that's whole 18 I don't know what state of light you're going to see it in but we're finishing this round today even if it literally cardiovascularly kills me no one wants to see fear here no one wants to see laps you guys should want to see layups what the heck hey at least it's a part at least I didn't bogey that silly little guy that big grounds tell unsubscribe but while we're oh yikes H maybe it was only 10 I don't know we don't have a lot of daylight left though 463 par 4 looks like a dog leg right so maybe try really late turning disc or late flipping roller 99% sure the basket that you can see is the 340t position right there probably not going to give myself a two look got throw a raming up the middle let it clly flip and get to that short basket and then hopefully have a look from there uh-oh uh-oh good second key second tree first real shank job here sorry I had to witness that I still can't even see the basket it's got to be so far to the right this basket is out of the woods up the top of the hill I didn't see any Mando on this T sign I wonder if there's like a play out and around cuz from here honestly the play I think is just throw to the field and get up and down that's not the spirit of the game the High shot with something stable this is so dangerous but I could get a three hey Fairway let's go I'm too Frugal and financially nerdy so this is my only form of gambling or throwing those shots tough looking lie I hope there's not it's not as wooded for the rest of this but still like some woods but mostly just for the sake of the light I'm running out this is a tough little re reach back here almost got to come out this way oh let's go baby chilling through seven on to eight I might play like five holes in the dark I need to find some place to sh yes I just canceled Planet Fitness but I still have a week left but I don't have a towel 317t Par 3 got to start capitalizing on some of these par 3s here it's only 323 and downhill so I'm tempted to just Zone MV whatever but it looks like there's Obi Beyond so I think I might just throw my cap wrap on Heiser and just make sure it pushes to the left and it won't be too glidey I don't think so just aim down the hill and get some stability that looks really good oh no no no oh gosh I hit a rock and I rolled almost OB I think it was just a little short of the perfect line and it hit one of those rocks and just like I just saw it rolling for like 30 seconds okay what's even worse is I was like basically parked actually dang it I thought that I was going to be further down but all right maybe it is like a putter oh and I'm for sure OB great also if you're wondering why it's says 10 I've noticed on a lot of these holes there seem to be the same baskets for the White and the gold layout that's a little more than a meter all right let's see if we can save this par no bogeys oh no oh I thought I drilled it that's embarrassing sorry I'm glad they sat here how do I even get in this Sal though going to hurt myself par bogey bogey woo one more and at least we got through nine but let's get them all thought that was so smart using the driver and then boom rolls away on me this the T udis this is 294 285 udus looks dead straight but this looks like it's up and to the left a bit slightly uphill so I think honestly just throw that same cap wrap again very similar shot don't go too far just rip it flat and it should fade I think it's good we'll see dang it it's straighter you just goes right the T sign was wrong I always assume the T sign is based off the orientation of the T box but yeah I threw based on that I threw perfect but I'm way up the hill not even in the Rocks looking at a kind of death Putt and that was just a perfect Envy shot and I squander my opportunity ah too low par line three down through nine with the eagle we're having some fun 1% daylight whole 10 par 4 583 501 on here here looks like you go straight and then dog leg to the right looks like this same thing so that's good I think it's too uphill but try to throw something fun with this guy I almost attempted to do a Spinx roller we'll store my Emperor though wow it gets so straight need to flip your disc I actually really like that on my hand again that disc has some good Integrity right now which it's perfect like that mid-flight turn with some we fade is awesome I just need a full-flight turn I should just thr a Spinx it's always a Spinx what am I thinking you don't realize this on the tea but it is uphill the whole way where does this go yeah zero chance at a two here oh jeez so this is a white basket I'm like 25 ft long on that one and a terrible spot the play might be a forand roller it's a really bad one at the qualifier boom that was a lot better so I'm glad I did that now I guess you can imagine what happened actually it was kind of opposite of that but yikes it was when I was in my fun times had to throw a little forehand right into the tree and now make a 50-footer this is like the most intense round I've played in a while jeez drilled it dang it what a silly bogey okay eight holes to play we're still under par I just have to finish this round got to get a couple birdies on this back L though that was a bad Boogie to take par five let's go 1,40 f get a second Eagle One for the front one for the back nine don't mind if I do oh no this is going to break up my whole planes okay they're playing a 268 ft part three do you guys mind if I throw for the part five real fast thank you ah four this might have to be it looks like there's leag and I shanked it all right shot too still no idea where the basket is my guess is still very far away use my chalk as a marker where the heck did that go oh shoot that went over the road all right yikes it's getting late how far does it still say we are 560 it's right this way so rip again and hope it's good this might be another bogey but that was a good shot oh man I so nervous about other people it looks like this course now at whole 11 now merges with a different course now it's not the whites it's like a whole other red course this is crazy this is a big Park what's crazy though is it looks like this is 18s te and where I threw my shot to I'm still about 150 out from the basket which might be the same basket but it was 14 T right te off so luckily I just went through four holes I got to make sure that this is the one I'm thinking of yep perfect but now I'm only one under and I still have seven to play and we're now officially 20 minutes past Sunset but I'm going to try to finish if it's everything I have if you can't see anything I'm very sorry hopefully it's very grainy and you can see something all right whole 12 617 ft par 4 looks like it's way down there somewhere this has 5.94 so about 600 ft so thr 400t shot 200 shot get a birdie Move Along yep 450 150 feeling a little spicy hopefully you can see that oh why are you turning so much now whatever it does look like though this is whole one to a whole different course that's crazy so cool it's like straight ahead in that little thing I feel like oh no maybe that's the whole one I don't know man there's a lot going on at this Park which is crazy CU it's just one Park which just happened to be the closest 18 hole to the airport I feel like there's so much good golf here be fun to explore it some more looks like our basket is down there 420 1880 is what it's looking like and I'm going to make a rle with you guys I'm going to play either until I am over par or until I am done so I can get back to even and try to work my way back under par if I'm able to stay under par and finish the round that'd be a win or I lose a disc that's the other rule I can't lose a disc either okay we're going to throw a watt I haven't thrown a watt here all really ah it's not good but should be part worst which is okay this course would be so fun to play not in the most insane state of mind that I've ever been in three there's like three whole courses here the whites the Reds and the golds it looks like they start at different places too there's also so much more room down here than I thought I thought it was really pinched oh my gosh mosquitoes in my eyes I'm trying to put like on the eyeball nice par five 970 Somewhere Out There 323 to that basket I'm just going to try to throw to that basket with my Roman and then uh try to do that again and then again oh it's flippy no I pulled that twice today okay also I thought the Fairway was going to be by this basket but now that I'm getting up here and it's lightening up it looks like it's for sure over there so this just going to be a Pitch back to the Fairway pitch pitch hopefully save apart where did this go oh I see it thank goodness didn't lose it at least wow this is tricky this is so tricky no way oh no okay it's getting real dark on the camera so Fairway does look really clear over here though which is good sign I think I'm going to throw smooth Sphinx so I get some light turnover since I'm having to throw at the wall of trees that's so good dude oh that's so good that should be an easy par if I can locate the basket SP is so good go
