welcome back to Bonanza disc golf today we're hanging out inside because I just finished up an a tier yesterday over the last three days hopefully you guys watched the coverage of that that I put out same day for you but one of the questions that you guys have been asking a lot for the past month and a half are what bags I have been using in my videos because two companies have been reaching out to me and have sent me out some bags and I do have affiliate links with both of them linked down in the description if you want to pick up any of these I do have a discount for one of them the other one is just a straight up affiliate link but I think trashpana might have a discount for it so if you'd rather get the discounts and support me either is fine but we'll get started with the bag that you guys have probably seen the most in my lead up towards building my bag which surprisingly I didn't use for the last round so it's kind of not really full of discs but we don't need to be full of discs because we're not talking about the discs today except for how many it might fit and this is the discology icon you guys have probably seen before honestly they're so far up in my closet that I'm not gonna go get them there's the discology Izzo and the discology OG V2 which are two other bags that they sent me out initially which I some of you guys have picked up with my affiliate links said I appreciate that massively but this is their latest bag to have come out which both of these bags I think do something pretty special for the disc golf space this one specifically gives you a nice open concept bag for a very good price right now it's on pre-sale so if you buy it now you'll probably get it in the middle of June I think is what they were telling me and right now they're only running a discount through me which is I'm very humbled for that but if you use code badanza on this bag specifically you get 20 off so you'll get this bag for a hundred and twelve dollars and anything else on their site but as a 10 will get you 10 off um both those codes do support me as well but this bag I really like because the other discology bags are very similar to other bags that have been on the market and this one is similar to other ones but definitely was designed in its own right and has a lot of features that I was surprised that I didn't actually use on the last day of my tournament but really liked it for the first two days so first off you're gonna see we'll just start sides and in we have well actually on the back first because there's a specific place for the umbrella or disc retriever in my case which mine is so busted right now so this college actually sent this one out to me originally so I mean it still works enough but I am so bad at treating my equipment well but the back side here I honestly don't know what this is for I use it to keep oh trash I guess as well which is what I did use it for but it has a rain fly which it comes with as well and I'm sure you could just put a bunch of stuff back there but personally since you can just close it up here I just put that in this little back section so that I really don't have to worry about it at all when I'm out on the course and I just really like the open plan but on the sides here we have two different Side Pockets both of them have a little bit of uniqueness to them this right side pocket here comes with a divider which I use because I like to carry two water bottles with me on the course makes life very easy to stay hydrated while I'm out there but you can take the divider out and fill it with discs which is one of the things that I was doing while I was trying to figure out my bag and I just put water in some of these Side Pockets because these side pockets are massive but we'll get to that on this right side I don't know which side it is but one of the sides uh is another side pocket which I keep discs in right now it's my beef pocket as you guys liked when I did my in the bag but this this one specifically has a place for a water bottle so I guess I'm doing it wrong but you can put a water ball in here you can put something else in here in this little elasticated part I just like to keep discs in this side probably I don't I honestly don't know why I just am a creature habit and for some reason having this on this side of the bag inside the other one I prefer literally no reason why I probably just did it one time and then forgot about it on the front side here there's actually another pocket where you can put even more discs however personally I never like putting discs on any front pockets like this because I find that it makes it harder to grab this out of the center like it's easy because it's an open plan but just that little bit of second tug that I have to do to get a discount I really hate so I prefer to not keep this there and instead I'll put my phone airpods keys and wallet in here and I did it one time and was so freaking scared because those are really valuable things to just keep in a pocket that's like oh like there's no like velcro or anything but it stays super tight especially when there's this in here probably only because there's discs in there and so I never have any issue with anything falling out of there which I'm super stoked on but a lot of times I'll put a mini or my phone here I was putting a mini during the tournament in this pocket but typically I'll put my phone there but I just got a new phone so that we can record same-day coverage and have someone film it for me instead of just my goop first off so I can focus on my game so probably phone during casual rounds maybe a mini got the trash Panda throw a cycle dispatch on here which someone remarked that I only had like a couple used to recycled this in my bag and yeah that's not good but if you can throw a cycle this and buy used this as much as you can I always prefer to get used this but yeah I had a lot of nudists in my bag so that was a little bit ironic that I had that patch on there so whoever commented that am I in the bag you got me on that one inside of the main pocket here we'll get to the sides in a second one of the things that I noticed which I actually noted to them so in their release this isn't going to be an issue but personally since this was a pre-release bag there were only like 10 of these and it was funny AJ Carey I was on a card with him first day of the 303 open which is the tournament that I just played we both since he's a discology sponsor guy and I just have a YouTube channel and they send me stuff and we have affiliate relationship and stuff like that not technically sponsored by any of these companies but I do get Kickbacks if any bags are sold but we were like two of the only 10 bags in existence and we were on the same card at a random tournament in Colorado so that's kind of neat but the back kind of slid on top of this bottom piece and the bottom piece was jutting into my back so I put a towel in there in order to make sure that it stayed comfortable but I told him that that shouldn't be an issue moving forward and then you have space let me see how many discs we can fit I'll take my whole entire bag which I just played with exactly as I would play with it and fit it in here flutter pocket and the glitch which I keep in the beef pocket even though it's not beefy and this still has plenty of room and this is all the discs that I'm bagging right now I did take out a couple discs from the bag actually I think just one I took out a destroyer that was in between my neutral destroyer and my flippy distance driver slot um because it was confusing me a little bit but otherwise I have my whole entire bag in here which is one two three four five six mids and approach discs one two three four five six seven eight nine ten drivers 16 17 18 19 20. 20 discs with room for let me see two more very comfortably the 22 in these main Pockets I have actually fit three Putters in each of these before when I was working with them and then I have four discs over here with room for one or two more as well so I'd say this comfortably fits anywhere from if you use both side pockets 31 discs uh if you just want to use one side pocket and use the other for water which is what I definitely recommend stay hydrated on the course probably 25 to 28 discs but I found you definitely don't need a lot more than that a couple other main features that I really like are these massive Side Pockets I am someone who likes to be prepared for as much as I possibly can and so I have another shirt in here in case anything happens I have a lotion because I live in Denver now and for some reason you don't need Chalk in Denver you need freaking lotion so that your hands don't crack on you when you're on the course ridiculous I have pens for all the aces that I'm inevitably gonna get and then there are also Side Pockets way down in here inside of the pocket there's a pocket inside of it which is elastic pocket which I really like because I prefer it to not be zippered since it's already down there this is where I keep an extra phone charger as well as all my tags the other side pocket is very similar except I think I keep just a bunch more minis I need to buy more minis because you guys are asking for Minis and I don't have any more so I need to reorder those real fast or I go on a big road trip whale Sac or chalk bag whatever I'm using at the moment and then inside of oh I had socks in here too oh I put them in this bag because this is the one that I was using but I just really like to stay prepared on the course and this honestly everything I just showed you fits in like a quarter of one pocket when I was in my tournament I would carry two water bottles all that stuff uh socks I would carry two to three sandwiches per round plus a snack bag this size three or four of these one of beef jerky one of cashews an apple an orange a theragon one like the little triangle theragon things and all that fit in here it did make this bag very heavy so this is not like your light bag if you load it up like that it can still be light like it's not ridiculously heavy at all it is light for what it is but for this big of an open plan bag it's gonna be relatively big on your back you guys have seen it on my back you guys have seen it in the other videos so don't feel like I need to show all that with you guys but if you want to pick one of these up there's a blue or a red one I'm really happy with this bag and if this is something that you're looking for an open concept bag at a really really good price because that's one of the things that discology really wants to make happen is really well priced disc golf bags go ahead and snag this with my code but Danza for 20 off you get it for 112 dollars plus tax or shipping I don't know what do they charge for all that stuff but yeah shout out to college you've sent this out let's go talk about another type of bag which isn't actually this which I am going to be using and you'll probably be seeing minimally because it's more on the back end of stuff that I do to work on my game that honestly those videos do really terrible so I don't produce a ton of them so but let's go check that out inside my van okay my van is a massive massive mess at the moment but there's two bags that I haven't talked about quite yet but these are like the latitude 64 as well as Atlas field work bags both of these are really solid they hold like 30 to 40 discs I have Putters and approach this and mids in one and then Fairways and drivers in another and these are what I'm planning on just taking with me in the van to have backups as well as to do field work with and learn multiple discs that aren't in my bag that can replace the ones in my bag in case I lose them like I did this weekend but I had a replacement which was solid one thing that I really like about this Atlas one is this like little patch right here which you can just put your keys and whatnot and if you're using it and there's also a little bit extra space on the sides from the Disco which is really helpful latitude one also has a spot for specifically Zone os's not actually because it's a lot of two bags but that's what I keep in there but there's like an extra Pocket that can fit like four or five discs over here it also has like a similar patch thing but it's not velcroed in but it also has a water bottle thing on both of these bags so you can bring water bottles with you one thing I would say is that that Atlas strap kind of broke on me a little bit but I also am very rough with picking everything up and I'm guarantee that this one yeah a lot of two stuff's made out of the same stuff so I would have broken either of them I just don't be too rough with any of your bags obviously I just I am way too rough with all my equipment unfortunately but these fieldwork bags definitely can be useful I would say pick up the Alice one because they're a smaller company I think Brody owns that one along with like Hunter Trevor maybe Brad from Foundation good guys I think I've talked to them a little bit not a lot but if they have Alice ones the stock maybe snag those otherwise just snag an easy one I know Prodigy makes a bag as well but I like those I also have a bunch of like these MVP boxes for when I buy discs with my stamps on them so yeah let's get back onto the second bag which Jesse from trashpanda also has a video about super exciting okay welcome back here and we need to talk about the new bags that trash Panda actually just put a video out on today as well we kind of colluded in that front we were talking to each other about it and so definitely go check out his video on this because he's going to do it way better Justice on the sustainability of these bags but this is a company that just is new to Market called renew disc golf right here this is the Eco bag one or Eco pack one I'm so bad with names I just care about like what it does for me but they come not in two color ways like you would think they come in like an infinite amount of colorways because these bags are made of 95 recycled 95 plus percent recycled materials the only thing as I understand that's not recycled on these bags are the zippers and they're working to make that be recycled on the next iteration of the bag all of these little patches are vinyl Billboards or canvas from Billboards that is recycled in Wisconsin because that's where these guys are located it's just a group of three guys who got together and wanted to build bags one is an industrial designer and he does a lot of like climbing packs so he was saying that he's got some really cool ideas for different things that he can put out to carry discs that we haven't really seen in the disc golf world which I'm super pumped about but this is just a very typical bag like you've seen so many companies make except like with that twist that it's all recycled and honestly very sturdy and sustainable and more probably waterproof-ish I don't know of all these little canvas parts are but all this vinyl just billboard stuff very waterproof because it's literally just off a billboard they just took Billboards that were going to be thrown away and put it into the bag but let's get into what the bag actually holds because I wanted to Pare down on my last day in the number of discs so I took out my discology bag and I wanted to wear this bag just to see one hot fair in a tournament but also this bag if you lift it this is like the lightest bag that I've ever held in my entire life and it's very sturdy because of the things that it's made out of the back stitching also it makes it very comfortable so it's very comfortable to wear on your back the padding and it fits also plenty of discs I thought that I would have to print on my bag even more for the tournament but it ended up being that literally everything fit I had my two putting Putters and then a throwing envy and a throwing pure Bolton Baseline plastic and all that fits in this massive Potter pocket up here where I actually pulled a glitch out of earlier as well so I had the glitch up here I'd say you could comfortably fit six discs up in that upper pocket which is kind of nuts and I kind of like having five or six discs up there because that pops that one putting powder out the back and one of the reasons that I like that a lot is because this pocket right here this second pocket is not actually a disc pocket it's just a pocket for your stuff and so it makes a nice place for me to put my wallet my airpods sorry black one and my also I totally just split my mind the colorway part I'll get back to that in a second but I also put my Rangefinder up here while I was in the tournament because I like and I will keep my phone just like out exactly where this Rangefinder is where it's not fully zipped so it's really easily accessible but in the bag itself that's four discs I think if we put all these in this is gonna be eight 10 12 16 20 discs with room for a couple more as well as one or two two more up here so I'd say you can fit 20 discs very comfortably half of them being mids half of them being drivers basically you could probably fit up to 25 if you wanted to squeeze in a couple more drivers but these are not expandable sides but they do still fit a lot and so like I have a hat where uh if I'm meeting people out on the course specific type of person which I will not tell you for my tournaments I've been offering them a hat or a disc and then just snacks oh probably got a thing that we snag this because just stuff in here that would go bad lots of snacks though like there's a lot of stuff in here that stuff won't go bad the water bottle holders are one of the downfalls with this bag not quite a big downfall but I have these two really big these are 64 ounce water bottles but they're the size of 32 ounce ones and they barely fit and I have to squeeze them in so in my tournament it was kind of funny I was actually to get my water I would actually just like hold my bag up and go like this instead of having to take him out of the bag which is a little embarrassing and funny but any smaller this will be really good I did also notice on the other bags they sent me out that they did stretch out over time um so I'm sure that as these kind of wear in if I like jiggled it around a little bit and took it out I'm sure I'll be able to put it back in a little bit easier yeah look at that okay so it does definitely stretch out but it starts very tight which is probably not a bad thing that just probably means secure over those are these little straps over both sides for a disc retriever which I didn't actually take on my final round especially because it wasn't going to fit next to that but if you have any smaller of a bottle it will fit in with the bottle or you can probably fit it into this which is like a mini pocket as well I just didn't really feel like I needed it and this is definitely a nice feature on the discology bag so one of the fun things about the colorways of these bags is that this black one is going to be standard so if you want to get this black one which I think looks really slick and it's definitely one of the bags I'm going to start wearing a little bit more you can just snag a black one of these bags like I said I have an affiliate link down in the description as well if you want to pick them up these ones are 99 but these colored ones are all going to be 100 unique because it's just a bunch of different Billboards that they kind of put together and put into one bag one thing I will say is I've noticed on these color ones because it is like canvas billboard that probably doesn't expect to be stretched out in the same way that like it would on a bag you do get these like little yellow splotches in this but it doesn't affect the Integrity of the bag at all it just affects the color a little bit but I honestly think it adds a little bit of like a cool wear look to this bag which is pretty unique for disc golf bags and these are like some of the most colorful and sweet bags so you'll probably see a bunch of these as well on the channel they also have these little Carabiner hooks up here which they also have on this Golgi bag I forgot to mention that because I haven't been using them I've just been falling out my towels and putting them on the sides here there are no inner pockets on the bag though so if that's a deal breaker for you there aren't any inner pockets on it these Pockets do fit a lot they just don't have a lot of like segmented space and one thing that you might not like but I don't mind at all especially as I was playing with it I didn't even think about it is that the outside of these supports I'm sure you could take out the sports and actually fit in a couple more discs of them and a couple other bags but they do fit this little thing that's supposed to fit over does fit over them but it'll eventually just revert back to this point where you can see them a little bit doesn't really affect things much if at all so I don't really mind it but these are definitely some seriously sturdy bags and pretty game changing for the way the bags are being made in disc golf because of how sustainable they are and going to be even more sustainable on the next round of bags and I'm excited to see what new type of stuff that they create so if you want to snag one of these please go use my link in the description that'll let them know that they made a good choice in hooking me up with some of the bags early but I could test them out because I've been wearing them for a while as you guys have seen in the videos so I'm glad that you guys are finally able to know about the bags I'm going to be using this year this one definitely a little bit heavier than this one but it fits a little bit more stuff so for like reviews and things I'll probably be using a lot of the renew bags definitely be using this one for some tournaments and just interchanging them based on what my needs are but I'm very happy with both of these bags massive shout out to both of these companies for sending them out and for working with me in this capacity not sponsored I don't have to make a video I don't have to do anything for either of these companies but if you want to support them and me go ahead and use the links down in the description if you want to check out a video talking a little bit more about the sustainability aspect of these bags definitely go check out Jesse's video over at trashpanda I'll link that right down here in the cards appreciate you guys so much for watching this video back to throwing frisbees tomorrow I just took the whole day off from throwing or basically doing anything to let my body reset because it's going to be a long and busy week with a little bit of travel for the next tournament subscribe if you want to check that out I appreciate all you guys support so much I'm gonna cash and get that last stroke for the next tournament okay love you guys bye
