welcome back to Bonanza disc golf into the world's rainiest practice round just lost the disc on the last hole thinking that I'll be done for the day and I'll go find it and then this rain started to part a little bit we can finish the last 15 holes or 14 holes of this practice round so I can hold number six we're playing to the oranges this is for a tournament that I have coming up but not only is this practice round it's also a review of what has become my favorite disc right now the birdie disc golf supply color glow strike the Jacob Curtis cupcake edition here I've been throwing this one you guys have seen all over the place slightly more stable than my first swirly strikes and today I'm gonna throw up for sure on some holes for this tournament but on top of that in this video we're going to be playing my normal shots for the tournament and then just against the color glow strike seeing who can win it's gonna be pretty muddy my footing is not gonna be the best but there's a chance that it's going to rain during the tournament so might as well practice this as well but the Chloe goes strike as a fairway driver up here it's got a little beef I would I would say it's pretty similar to a votum maybe slightly less stable but I feel like it goes a little farther but if you want to pick some up birdie disco Supply is sponsoring this video so if you want to go to the link in my description you can pick some up and uh let's get through it it's 291 straight up there probably mid-range I'm gonna guess origin at it could actually be a great one to just throw the strike out instead so I don't have to like power up too much I don't think I'm really powering up too much on my origin just dry off oh probably should throw a Pathfinder or something more stable there's a little left to right that I didn't account for I think I just feel like I have to overcompensate a little bit for it I'm gonna fight against it a little bit better yeah that might just be my play in the tournament that's really good strike went a little long there's a big drop off back here as well get up oh not bad nailed it yeah strike's definitely my play all right hole seven looks like a pretty interesting shot 406 downhill honestly another one where I probably am throwing strike in the tournament there is kind of a tail right to left so it's pushing us that way which is a little hard because as you can see on the T sign over here there's like a creek just beyond it and then the road up that way so you kind of want to land right at the basket maybe on the Shelf that's above the basket I've never played this course before in these positions maybe like some of them one time last summer but I think yeah strike I think the honor is another good option so I'm gonna try that as well it's like just enough rain to not let everything be fully dry actually I think I'm just gonna try a destroyer because I don't want to have to like try to do something but I think like the flat play down there which will keep it maybe a little safer is the strike just lost my beautiful Echo star purple one on that last so I hope it didn't go in the water because then I'll be able to find it but it's like jail where where I lost it well that's what I said to do but I don't like that skip so I think if we throw it flatter at it could be really good oh that was poor I hit my chest on the way through because I slipped a bit that's what I'm saying I'm not confident in the rain in these shoes hit the exact things about as that Destroyer the strike here is pin high but OB not a bad spot for the tournament but just outside the circle into a headwind stay up that's poor especially if the grass stays soft I think I can I didn't throw this as hard as I could have I think I can throw this harder on a more spiky line and just try to get it to hit and sit instead of get a skip so the feel of these strikes is definitely it's like t-bird-esque but a little slightly bit deeper it reminds me a little bit like of a stalker pretty similar feel in like depth but it's not beaded like the stalker is but for me for my small hands like they're just so comfortable because it feels like they've got a nice shelf to grip on feels good on the forehand as well which we'll probably throw a couple of just a nice feeling disc overall honestly okay that might be a problem I just got I don't I think I have to walk all the way around that's really annoying and 10 minutes later more like four we're past it That'll Walk the whole course basically from 17 back to this hole which is like nine eight this is the thing that I was able to use to like get all the rain not kill my camera equipment but hole number eight here is 357 feet straight down there oh that's so mud I think the play there's a creek just beyond it is honestly I think it's origin oh that might have Juiced it that origin goes so far dude it's kind of ridiculous all right here's the strike on the turnover line oh it is still relatively stable and when you throw it slightly nose up does not go well there it is it's a little bit better it's not a whole I would choose to throw a strike it's down there I think I'm gonna go with Pathfinder on a similar turnover as a strike see if I can get there yeah those are just better angles than I put the strikes on and more committed and I think that's the beauty oh that's so good it might be Pathfinder hole we got some bad strike shots one there one they're still in bounds but that is the pathy yeah just a nice 350 turnover passy all right scariest hole in the course right now because of how raging actually this River might not be as Raging so this might be fine it's like a little tributary it's 211 feet straight there I don't think there are any Mandos I'm like trying to look at the course map nope just says 230 right there probably just a Zone little forehand try not to juice it pretty good move on hopefully that's my tournament play that was so super good in exactly what I wanted to do I'm gonna try this outside turnover because that sounds fun oh stupid tree I am not gonna throw this one that I've been falling in love with just in case this strike this slight Flex through the gap okay oh kiss we got a putt we got a putt that was really ugly shot but lucky kiss yeah really good that's so good so I was definitely wrong about this not flowing too hard if you see me start to Sprint after this putt you know I think I missed it just way too low and perfect shot all right hold ten strike I think is down by two 400 feet down to the orangey boy I think it's another one that's good for the strike but potentially better for a destroyer I probably would prefer the purple Destroyer that is hopefully not in a river right now but there's a yeah there's a head left to right so it's a really good one for this Ricky Destroyer just leave out there flat and let it Fight Against the Wind that's not flat that's not right that's not good I'm so afraid of this stupid t-pads with these shoes I still do think that this is a good strike one still no confidence hit Escape yeah that's gonna be short 60 feet shorts probably the pharaoh yeah it's a distance driver hole unfortunately as long as my shoes are like this sit down we'll see actually my crosswind understanding recently has been pretty atrocious I definitely said that that was a head left to right and it was a tail left turn oh my gosh I did not think I overduced that so it happens when you mistake the win this was even shorter than the strikes were it's actually pretty solid from the pharaoh oh my gosh I hit my 321 we still have a Tailwind I think to get it down there I mean we could just throw a pure nice and easy I think or maybe like spike in something this one a lot of these holes are gonna be very wind dependent on the day 320 straight down there Baseline pure oh that thing still flipped in the Tailwind if that is in the river I'm going to cry don't even throw it too hard maybe even throw a stalhizer so we don't give it as much speed as we need so it'll kind of fall out of the sky instead of push really good really really good all right unless I can make a big pot looks like the strike might have just squad one back I really like that stahlheiser idea I feel like it's so simple oh I can't even plant it's kind of hard to push through a putt when you can't push off your foot I think muddy courses are the worst courses ever all right this t-pad is not a t-pad how are we gonna play this looks like we're going stance though because this one is a double mandar right there to that basket honestly really great for a little stance beforehand this d-pad is made by shoes about a pound heavier it's my muddy dance mom I guess we can still play for the tournament oh Juiced it sit down all right we gotta make that putt I'm really happy I did this round but at the same time it's insane what a pot I'm literally gonna bathe these tonight insane all right we got another mudslide t-pad it looks like we're playing the short one on this one too 165 right there looks like they want some Aces because this is like it's the most runnable hole in all disc golf shorty all right now we're gonna try the hyzer forehand with the strikes oh what the I think I forgot to play disc golf this hole am I totally misreading the wind again oh all right hole 14 straight ahead of us 255 it's gonna feel so good a shower today there's like a big drop off in Lake over there so you want to kind of move in honestly I think the best shot is like a tight Flex that starts to sit down and then just like hits and sits might be my Baseline pure because there's no chance it's going left really okay okay I shanked it I'm a little scared about this strike I think we're gonna go forehand at it not good but it's the safe play actually pretty good I mean it's like an inside the circle putt from up there yeah this definitely isn't one I'm running just nice simple upshot take it roll away City from the pure oh no oh sometimes I just feel like a genius because I started putting extra socks in my shoes because I'm like I feel like I'm on the verge of like transfoot because of how long I've been out in this rainy crap and it's been so gross all right hold 15 336 down to the orange there I think I'm gonna go forehand with the firebird this is like one of only like two holes that are actually four hand holes at this course what the did I lose that Firebird I think I was gonna juice it that far by throwing at this off we're gonna try the ultra okay Ultra is the distance I just yanked it maybe try strike on a forehand too it's through it even a little softer don't juice it up a big strike hole baby all right so I didn't juice this too bad the Firebird yes I'm getting a little tired nice four and four foot par three hole 16 slightly uphill kind of a pump probably not gonna strike there but we can try probably a hole for me for my echo Destroyer we're gonna go with the Pharaoh here hopefully not slip gonna slip yeah it's way too flippy holy cow there's gotta be a wind out there we're gonna try my Star Destroyer then turn it over at all that's OB vious there's the river over there I didn't even think that was I didn't even think about that please have gotten over did I lose that disc again short Circle two look all right this is a head left to right so terrible for a flippy disc okay I'm getting a little lazy I'm worried about my desk all right pretty short into a headwind gotta make it for funsies nope all right let's see if this I can see this blue disc I can get it I'll close the stories for this next though ah well looks like we're not getting a lot of good practice on this hole because we're gonna go pharaoh and Destroyer only 740 foot uphill Par Four there's a Mando there with the Drop Zone over there I think we're gonna go with the Calvin Destroyer instead of the Pharaoh that's really good it's a little short it needs to be a little more nose down okay that's gonna be a big big up shot Calvin's story again we got a uphill far headwind all right 385 to 390. sit might be safe A little short I wonder if I can throw the strike farther oh I didn't try to strike this hole I'm sorry I wanted to get off the course so bad I think this is honestly a great struggle I think I could get a strike almost as far as that Destroyer but this headline is crazy dude those things just go hopefully I got close might be pretty short I felt like I ripped it oh almost pin High just a little more angle on my hand that's perfect for the three no good height oh geez out of my hand it's I'm wanting to push it towards the middle on some hyzer and the wind is just keeping it left alrighty hole 18. straight down there last hole tournament or not the tournament of the day then tomorrow go back to the other course which you guys will see if videos about later 353 just straight downhill I would throw Envy but this might be another Pathfinder hole it's just downhill enough but I think with the headwind or honestly because of the wind it's probably just a Firebird I kind of want to try the Pathfinder as well obviously throw the strikes I think the strike is also a really good option just a little less spiky oh God whoa we're not we're going to the orange one guys sorry I opened up my chest so fast I'm so tired 360 never felt so far especially downhill strike I think is a really good one I think I love the seven seed as well because for my small hand seven speed it's really nice like get the nose angle correct because you don't have to like force over a really big rim or you don't have to like be finicky with a smaller room it's like a really good size for my hands see laughs that's so good dude red headwind five shot uphill I'm probably going backhands to the forehand oh gosh I'm so tired ah maybe you should have gone forehand no that probably brings the strike back to even I don't know strike's a good disc if you want
