This Company's FIRST PUTTER Is SUPER Impressive // Hooligan Discs Cash Review

welcome back to Bonanza disc golf specifically crazy hair me because I've had a hat on for a couple videos we took it off but today we're gonna be taking a look at a shipment that I got from hooligan disc you might have seen I did a new kid in the back with all their mold except for this one which just came out which is their first putter it's called the cast which I think is such a cool name they sent me two different Plastics of it we're gonna be doing a Johnny putter review trying to shoot 18 down not actually but just trying to shoot out score I think the record still on the channel is 15 down but they sent me one in the alpha plastic because they're manufactured by Lone Star and this disc is honestly okay son chill out a little bit and this disc is honestly pretty interesting I love the feel this plastic and this Alpha One is a little baby baby Dome it's more flat to domey it has kind of a micro bead on the bottom of it and feels pretty shallow but the rim kind of feels I think because of the little micro bead and I had the same thing when I was like reviewing the jester this love which is like a bullet or practices because of the little micro bead it makes it feel like the rim kind of is a little concave inside of itself which helps you get a good grip especially on the forehand I really like but these are pretty shallow so I feel like they're not going to be super stable this one's a little puddle top and this plastic it says h on it I'm not exactly sure what the name of the plastic is also big shout out Garrett over at hooligan for sending me out like my favorite color combo ever you guys know I like to like review kind of a little under the radar stuff and this feels because of how solid lone star's plastic is yeah they made a big splash this off season and Emerson just won the OTB open a couple days ago as I'm filming this but it still seems like this company Hooligans pretty under the radar as even I would say lone star kinda still is because people know who they are but they don't know like you tell someone a lone star mode they're like what is that it's not a moves a putter no one really knows I think we're gonna throw the Alpha One first I'm guessing a three speed three or four Glide zero one ish disk a little nose up that's pretty far so maybe a little more stable to give a credit for decent shots though they're good Potters like I honestly in terms of putting Putters if this had a little more dunks I don't like putting with anything puddle top the shallowness of it and the fact that it has that micro bead would make it like a super good putter for someone like me who's got smaller hands I do like my peers a lot right now but I always say like if anyone was making me like sign with them or whatever doing all these reviews even though they're not gonna probably make my bag they're filling up the bags for me at a bunch of different companies if I ever were to sign with them all right hold two 203 feet right there man this pink one I love the feeling of it it feels very comfortable just like by holding it it feels like a good bold the flight we have yet to see great job a little short might be closer like not an mv3302 but maybe like a three four zero two or three four zero one and a half or something hey my hair is ridiculous this is my third practice round of the day fourth practice round in the last two days but today is gonna be the last of the Johnny Potter reviews tomorrow is gonna be an update on my bag because things have had to change and then oh wow I'm surprised my pathfinder pushed further than my strength on this well one of this last course four tournament rounds in probably two or three days of coverage enjoy the last Johnny putter reviews really cool things happen in this one and a really solid disc for the first putter from this company I just want to give you a little update my life has been absolutely crazy with getting here to Kansas City and thinking I was getting here Monday having it pushed back because problems with my van not even Wednesday essentially Thursday morning at 3am in the morning waking up Thursday playing two rounds waking up today playing three rounds and then I have two rounds at two courses tomorrow two rounds of two courses on Sunday we'll see I appreciate you guys so much for following the journey it's crazy right now but it's good enjoy the video it's gonna be a great hole to see how these guys want to rip it's whole three 273 straight through there I definitely am more comfortable before hit or backhanding his pink one even because I'm not a big fan of portal top this on the back end in general for me because I feel like it forces my hand a little bit it's like I'm if my normal grip is here it forces the grip slightly this way which means I have to compensate I don't typically like doing that so out of the hand we're going to give it just the smallest amount of flex but mostly just hard and flat foreign yeah just a little early release two times on the backhand so far on that disc so this is even a little flatter than I wanted but I had a very similar flight so I think like once you get up to speed it's a little more of that like three four zero one ish disk all right let's give me a first little shot at a solid forehand it is a headwind left to right I'm gonna throw the more base plastic one I can't be hooligan plastic is it hard oh hard H for hard s for soft that makes sense oh no kind of hold some torque get around and going so definitely a little more touch for hands that was bad but dang it I was trying to go 18 for 18. this one's super hard to see it's just like over this stuff and back down there like straight ahead of us 225 feet oh right over top all right hole six 222 straight ahead of us slight headwind Alpha cash baby because I'm an alpha with my money no I just throw hyzers when I try to throw anhyzers it's not a very awful thing to do oh man I was so under committed for like no reason in the bank oh dang it and I think we're just outside the circle which means it's just easy enough to make if you're good at physical now we're only on Pace for 16. I would have I feel like it's similar to Royal well maybe a little more gummy it's I love this plastic this is one we're definitely going to want to be a little more committed on I feel like 3401 is right maybe three three zero one but it seems pretty glidy oh slippage it's gonna be fine but push it oh no this would have been a nice one to tap in dang correction no got a Goldilocks it but I don't have three all right 171 feet right there another great forehand chance hardcat nope I said I stopped Hard Cash okay I was more involuntary than I'd like to believe oh deep not bad though just cracked a little bit inside to inside I thought it was supposed to rise I did it was supposed to be a big time oh back door I was kind of really lucky the second one was like the luckiest shot ever dude we'll take a bar it was deserved from throwing that into the ground tried to rush my thamming a little bit what a freaking lucky shot though come on all right so I've been kind of wanting to start practicing this really dumb line because it looks kind of fun to throw this hyzer through this tree it's not the play my play is just the anhyzer we've already lost three holes so we're not going perfect we can't even beat the record unless we Ace it so might as well that'll actually work really not bad it definitely is a line for flippier discs because it's hard to like push that on anhyzer and not hit the three all right one eighty not 162. straight ahead of us light Flex out of the hand wind is pushing that way so we're gonna go the Baseline one into the basket a little too much Annie I'd say that puts it clearly in that like one to 1.5 fade category not quite two all right hold 12 150 feet just simple turnover shot chain down on this one in the last video I'm gonna Ace in this one get stable ah that's it oh come on that's bad these are throwing really good this is just gonna turn into another like good but not a great round unless we Ace so that's the advance that's the mission from here on out because we're not getting the top ten well we're not getting like a top two probably but we can still get the first official Ace Attorney Johnny Potter reviews I like threw one on six and I like shorted and through really weird and like my rotator cuff feels it a little bit so it's definitely the last thing I'm filming today go work eat rest sleep drink water oh no I wasn't doing it it wasn't gonna be that bad it's slow but that's a really good shot honestly pretty sick kick they're like lifted and then dropped that was scary but it is bro what's up I'm glad I took the first one this is the one too low dang it too long I can't even Goldilocks it like I said yeah this is interesting because I thought with how Apollo top would be um it'd be super not gliddy or more similar to something else but I think because it's a pretty Gladdy putter as it is even that puddle top one it still throws very nice it just it doesn't want to stay in the air as long because that's what happens when a disc is like got a freaking puddle in the middle of it in case you didn't know man I guess sorry all right hole 15 204 straight ahead I think as right now we've still missed was it four holes now still pretty good anything double digits is fine I think anything under like 15 is good anything 15 16 17 is great 18 is awesome but I've never done it yet so all right because this one's I feel like a not quite a pump but I'd rather get a little more easy air under it we're gonna go with good shot I keep thinking that this is an overstable putter it's just a staple putter look at that you throw a flat it doesn't dump to the left on you crazy I love when I'm reviewing something that takes me 15 holes to figure something out about it oh that was cool after holes are fun let's get I think we can get one of them all right 16 145 right over there left to right win to threat flat just to the right of these trees and let it catch Edge a little and let the wind push it towards the basket all right that was weird really good just a little deep let me pretty hard to miss one of these all right 17 240. five ish three two forty three right up there so this one is gonna be a touch of any I just wanted to flatten out towards the basket it can even be a higher Annie as long as his nose stays down I just don't really like when it fades out to the left it's not a bad shot but oh my gosh what a shank like is that really hard is it really that hard no just do that the first part you know you can't have highlight butts if you don't have bad drives in the headwind wow great job to juice it dude it's my new cutting style from inside of the bullseye alrighty last hole and we're about to Ace this one and it's gonna be awesome oh why'd you swoop it that was terrible it's even worse almost arguably sit down please okay that's fine all right we gotta make this now otherwise there's a giveaway nice and simple I definitely would say my flight numbers would probably be maybe three three zero one it wasn't like incredibly gliddy so I don't think I give it the four pa4 wasn't either and they give it a four so I'd say three three zero one or zero one point five it's stable but it's not overstable and it's glidy and it's definitely it's I don't think it's a two speed but it could be but for me I felt like it flew a little more like a three speed super solid disc that cash claim out with I'm really sorry that my hair was insane this whole time let's just make a little more so for the outro for you if you want to check out my last Johnny partner reviews holy crap I don't
