This Disc Kinda Copied The Berg [But Made It Better???] // 1 Speed Review

welcome back to Bonanza disc golf today we're going to be reviewing my by far most requested one speed disc review it's not a glitch mostly because I've probably already done a bunch of other glitch videos but every time I post a video about one space everyone's like you gotta throw this disc and so today we are that one this is one that I had reviewed before a long time ago from the first company that ever sent me disks for the channel they sent me one of them in their Victor plastic wanted the Victor I don't remember which one it wasn't the crazy biggest fan of it because it was a little bit flippy like more so than I expected especially as a one speed oh that's not gonna be good got a thumb tracks maybe I'll like dig my thumb into that a bit what we're taking a look at today is the Lone Star disc armadillo one two zero one similar number I think to the Berg maybe the Berg is one one zero two but it is so thin feeling it's like a lid style disc but it feels so thin that I feel like I'm gonna miss release it hopefully not but we're gonna give it 18 holes here at Johnny Roberts disc golf course just another Johnny Potter review current leaderboard top five scores right there I'm hoping to shoot at least 10 down with this if I'm not feeling confident about it because that first putt is enough I'm just not feeling good the plaything does not feel great one hole after this we have 270 foot hole which is gonna be very interesting Bravo it says b definitely Bravo okay it's a one speed all right I've been throwing like three speeds in a video earlier today and I was like wow this thing is gonna go in and then it just dies which I guess makes sense or something if you think about it it'll make you a bed if I get a bunch of putts like this I think we'll do pretty good thank God that went in we have to make an armadillo bomb right now because this hole is about to be 273 with the Dillo I can get through the glitch that thing's glidey this is like so far kind of like a wannabe bird I don't know it seems like it's pretty good it seems like a point and shoot it might actually be better the Burke feels pretty good I will say that this thumb track I kind of prefer the birds like dumb thing to the thumb track just like that actually we're not screwed we're perfect it's really good don't like being nervous for those I feel like it's because the thumb track like doesn't go super far English I don't think they ever really do but it means my thumb always shifts up to the rim or to the edge of the thumb track before my throw and before I put so it feels like there's an extra like movement that's happening that scares the crap out of me straight ahead 160. let's look like a fun one to Ace at least get it through that last Gap do that so we got a slight headwind but I think I'm still gonna put slight slide Anheuser and aim just to the left left side of the gap oh just oh yeah oh let's go we got through a little Gap I also keep forgetting it's the one speed so put on an angle even if it comes out of that angle it's not going to a different angle that's not how one speed does work three through four I told you keep getting those easy spots we'll be happy all right this one's pretty interesting it's hard to film now that the like trees have green it's 225 We Gotta Throw anhyzer but a little more left because it's gonna glide on the Annie and even if it does come out it's not gonna like push back to the left see and that's why you don't do that it's actually going to be fine because I threw it soft enough that it's going to be good but I meant to push out a little more left and it would just Glide under the base because it came out of it but it's been kind of sat instead of pushed these ones I cannot put right or left because if it goes right or left it stays right or left so I gotta put it Center Center every time I think we're gonna try a little flick forehand with it aim a little tiny bit to the left on this much hyzer because I think it'll stand up honestly I just actually have to commit through because the times that my I think my houses are gonna stand up and they don't is when I just gonna go and like flick it up instead of flicking it and maintaining that angle through the hip point see and that's why I wanted to aim a little bit to the left I am right at it but it did what I wanted so I'm really happy with that oh she's it don't think about it okay so I know I'm at elevation so stuff lies slightly different I'm in Denver but as of right now through like these first six holes this is exactly how you want the bird to fly I did buy this off the used rack and it is a Bravo one so maybe Alpha's different or whatever but I'd say Bravo armadillo has a little flip but stays mostly straight it's pretty torque resistant kind of how you want your bricks to be honestly that's a touch of Annie that is not even close to where I was aiming that was a really ugly shot yeah I deserve that definitely felt like I threw that one early so I like opened my shoulders early and caused me to late release I don't really have anyone think about it oh stay straight maybe inside of 20 feet this doesn't Inspire confidence in me either wow that was that's one that I would love to just pick up and take again but I just don't that putt oh and you guys know what that means bogeys means giveaway so that is like build you one so we're five down through eight honestly we can still get 15 we can still tie the record and if we as we can still beat it don't lie to my mouth sorry I feel like one speeds as a whole are pretty interesting because like I love throwing the glitch and I like throwing this and I used to like birds like I don't want a bag of burger this type of one speed I like the glitch a lot though I think these are just a little more stable than I want I'd rather just throw up here I guess I don't really know but I also haven't been throwing the glitches in tournaments I've had two tournaments now and it's not a bit of my bag for most of those rounds but I really like it I just feel like I'd rather throw up here because it's a little heavier and I feel like I can still manipulate it similarly so yeah I think once he's at their place it's just interesting as well that you don't see a lot of Pros actually throwing one speeds cast the pros to the bird I think it's actually pronounced Berg so I've heard a couple people say that and then I think too you have like Eric Oakley who has the Berg but Drew has the glitch in his bag which is sick because I mean I'm basically Drew Gibson and then I don't know anybody that's not armadillo actually but it's a fun desk it's a tough one we're gonna have to try to flip it up so throw it pretty hard and relatively low to get it under that low ceiling oh it kind of flips I thought it would hold a little better that's honestly a pretty good tree super straight super straight super straight so I need to I need to throw it on the high so that I want to push on instead of trusting that it'll start to fade on it because once again one speeds will not fade they will just sit down another little stepper should have stepped it was a good line though all right one of the lines that I've yet to take on this hole but I really wanted to is this hyzer line through this Gap really really hope I don't mess it up too bad or at all because I think I could park it with this line especially like with this one speed disc because it's not gonna push as far on the hyzer drop in the basket no no I love that line that was so cool like I said I thought I wanted to get to 10 we're doing pretty good let's reset Pace it's a pretty good Ace chance I kind of like how this textures the Fairway it makes it look good I like this with the armadillo too because it probably won't push past it too much and if you get this Ace don't throw it on highs or weight to the right it was a little bit high right but it I wanted to fall out of there thank you for not doing that stepping none all right we got a new cooler angle unlocked to fold number 12 150 feet right there it's been just drifting a little bit much and I think I'm putting it on slightly too much angle which I think is one of the things that these are really good at teaching is like those in between angles when like for a lot of times I'm used to throwing either very slight hyzer or 30 degrees of hyzer this in between like 20. it's not something I throw a lot similar a lot of anhyzer very baby anhyzer the in between got a good slot but it's something that you need when you're throwing these one speed discs that have just a different Glide pattern please go in the basket oh my gosh ah well getting better practicing them at least oh I wanted the ace so bad this is the first hole I used in Denver it was in the other position over there but it was with a pure that I picked up same day from another round the shop like that's like two minutes away from here oh just just not enough see that's where ice threw in 20 degrees of anhyzer instead of 22 degrees so I gotta dial on that 22 degrees if I want to get the ace you know what I mean it's a stupid gameplay hole 13 231 Straight Ahead slightly low ceiling so I think we're going to throw it hard means that the nose is going to stay very down so I'm going to put a little more hyzer than I think throw at the basket in such the right of the basket because we learned that the hard way who threw it to the right of the basket again who did that again when you knew you need to throw it straight this is like the main hole in the course that I'm like surprised I haven't aced yet I hit cage in an earlier video today with my third shot finally do it man no chance just a little deep you're getting the high rate though so we're down I've said this is so many videos I cannot say that for he's dialing it in okay I just can't say it it's simple it's an impossibility with how fast I talk Potter's feeling good all right straight ahead 204. this is another one that like I've gotten surprisingly close to acing a bunch of times it's just like a really nicely framed up shot armadillo at it on hyzer at it on heizer I don't know what I'm telling you I've been the one who's messing this up to hold up oh that was pretty close to at it it flipped up and turned a little but it was mostly added that was really bad hi there still on track to do 13 if I get all the rest of them all right baskets rest are there where they're playing we're gonna take the Anheuser line I don't know why but I want to today so wind pushing against it we're still able to go through that line but that first tree right there is Amanda right of it just keeps you off the other Fairway but we're gonna go around these trees and kind of just ace it you know why the heck not go in oh that was so so so good I thought I made it man I'm getting close on all these days I'm like still leaving them close that's the best part I'm still taking birdies on most of these gosh that had to have been like a foot away all right two more holes this is an interesting one it's a it's a headwind was mostly left to right so it's not really going to flip it over I don't think because well it kind of well because of the wind but I want to kind of push this on slight hyzer just inside of that tree and I think it should flip and get close to the basket because I don't think it's super stable especially in these types of winds wow that holds it better than the one that I thought it would wow I really thought that that would start to turn a lot more I think something as shallow is this disc always makes me think it's gonna be so flippy but this is kind of surprisingly torque resistant oh wind seems have kind of shifted actually it's kind of swirling because over there it still looks like it's coming this way but here it looks like it's coming that way so flick with the Dillo Ace it oh come on oh dang it just a little low that's two times in a row on this hole in my first shot off the off the t-box it's metal first one if you haven't seen that video yet you gotta watch it still I won't tell you which one it is but dead center spit out I was sick I thought that was super inside but because it's a one speed and still torque assistant it just kind of glided straight so that's pretty solid I think that's 13 down maybe really not bad whoops so yeah if you're a lone star player or just like a one-speed like or a burgliker this might be my second favorite one speed now just under actually I like to pull cat a lot too this in the pool cater kind of tied glitch top of the game best ones beat ever made burgers below them surprisingly I think this is just slightly more comfortable in your hand for forehand and backhand so if you don't like the Brickfield but you want a similar brick flight Bravo probably solid Alpha don't know Victor's didn't like as much but who no Swiss girl I gotta say in that matter
