Trying To Shoot 1000 Rated At a FUTURE Pro Tour Course (B9) // Boylan Acres EXTREME Course

welcome back to Bonanza disc golf today we are playing the back nine of boiling Acres extreme a course just outside of Indianapolis Indiana that's designed and currently being built out by Steve Boylan who's a PDGA Legend he's top 10 all-time in wins and he's creating right now a course that hopefully soon will be on the pro tour within the next three or four years but no matter what we'll be hosting some really awesome events pretty soon I was lucky enough to be able to play both the courses on this property and this is the back nine of the extreme course like I said where for both courses down five is about a thousand rated so our goal was to set up both pars the pars as a 950 basis through the front nine I unfortunately bogey the last hole but I'm down too meaning that if I go down three over this back nine I'll be able to have essentially a thousand rated round on what was honestly one of my most fun Disc Golf experiences that I've ever done also trying to hit 10 000 subscribers by the end of the year so please subscribe that would help um on the whole time Bowl 10 this one is called blame Steve for this one I guess we'll see why it's a 500 foot Par Four with no OB I'm guessing it's up and over this hill no way oh no that's a different oh is it really down here you gotta get up the hill into a clearing and then ideally hit a random Gap because then okay this is a very defined line up there I think this is where we break out the river for a shot that goes up and still turns all right Steve I'm blaming yeah must I get a birdie oh no not that low but as long as I got over that first Hill should be able to get up and down for par same again from here now I mean two down pretty solid that's like 970 apparently so we can keep that and add a couple birdies stay bogey free not stay no boogies in the back nine should be good honestly not that bad we're right here short t-pads right there I think they honestly have a better line than I do we kind of got to flip up forehand Gap but we have to throw it on the flex forehand line so at about 300 feet I think I'm gonna go with my Explorer maybe maybe Thunderbird yes explorer is not stable enough yes that's my Gap that's my Gap that's pretty solid I mean it's not great I really need to work on that forehand stand still power but I hit the line ish it's a little high and we're up here we kind of got a putt I'm gonna probably honestly just give a little soft run with the birds I hate that I'm using this disc not anymore I thought about a good birdie a good Bergie welcome to whole oven got pretty hot so we're just wearing our Chicago marathon shirt since my wife is a beast and ran it this one isn't so bad that's literally the name of it left side of Fairway marked by rope or paint is OB just straight up there and then a little bit to the right should be pretty simple Two Shots we're gonna throw my flippier grace this one isn't so bad keep turning what the heck are you doing foreign I can't really imagine throwing that any worse such an easy hole such a big Fairway do I missed it like that there is kind of a wind pushing us this way-ish so that's not good where's the claw Trace we can't get a boogie on this hole should be all right if the basket is where I think it is solid solid solid solid it's gonna be easy birdie but it's a bar brutal that stinks man that was such a bad way to play that hole all right here we are at hole number 12. hopefully the easy part of this is getting that birdie that I should have gotten on the last hole I think probably gonna throw Envy I just put this in the bag to test out and it's got that extra bit of stability and my pure doesn't so I can throw it pretty similar to the pure but it should finish a little left just like that no too stable foreign not looking great I'm like under this tree right here oh my goodness gracious just gonna anhyze her forehand that bird got it get further that's great yikes this is craziness I'm just gonna hold the camera still behind my lie par hole 13 Ace run is what it's called nobody straight through there you got to walk like 400 feet to get through the hole it's only 193 feet away from us here I'm getting out of breath I'm between pure Bergen Envy whichever one lands closest to me I'm gonna throw but I didn't want to throw the envy no oh that would have been crazy oh that rolled all the way down the hill I'm glad that the shortest hole in the course I'm gonna maybe take the bogey we're outside the circle we gotta do all these little Switchback things I don't think throwing your discs in the air letting them land and then choosing from that is the best way to choose which is to throw I also probably should have thrown these on forehand oh baby oh that's a stick in my putter step ah at least it's that here we are whole 14 it is 306 feet fence line beyond the basket is OB and it's kind of right where those trees are I don't know exactly know where the fence line is I imagine it's not super close I'm gonna go glory on a forehand just try to skip it close to the basket-ish it says if you don't if you're close enough a putt the blame Jeff so if that gets the case I'll definitely be blaming Jeff in the edit thank you get a little Skippy skip that's a lot farther than anything I want it to be but if I'm close I'm blaming Jeff for sure that was like a pretty awful shot and I don't have a putt so Jeff you stink I can actually kind of have a little itty bitty Lane I'm actually gonna move you guys just in case I do hit the lane because that'll look sick oh Anthony that's all right coming out of my hand and then I saw it come on clear hole 15 is called Eagle me now if I had a roller maybe I would take them up on that offer but I definitely don't so I think we're again gonna throw that same Grace just this time actually throw it right the one that we would throw in 11 because that's the other hole that I'd want to have a roller on here it's just up and then to the left we got to keep this pretty low so I'm gonna Hyster flip it pretty low and hopefully bite off about 380 feet going uphill now you want to turn sit oh nice stop stop doing that so bad two times today I should throw my other Grace big time I bet we have a look in to try to get the birdie oh wow it's like inside of the tree line I see a little Gap that I can try to hit I'm probably gonna throw my my Explorer though it could be a Thunderbird too but I'm liking the Explorer right now it's a little short of my Gap that might be farther than I thought definitely should arrange it that's unfortunate so many of these holes I would play Just ever so slightly differently if I was able to like see where the greens were and I guess I am it's just that takes a lot to walk up there and do it every time we're outside the circle again maybe inside Circle two but I think probably just outside that's as well oh yeah right down here oh into the Thorns nice throw the bergey at it oh pretty solid probably look good from your angle because it was just left side of it part down we're taking a lot of parts I'm really happy about that but let's get some birds you're at hole 16. it's 276 feet it says don't go left really don't go left so I imagine we shouldn't go left yeah it's just straight down this Gap a little bit turn to the right apparently there's a fence line Beyond it that's OB at 276 downhill like that I think we're gonna go but honestly kind of my stable pure but just turn it ourselves miss that tree I hope you can see that it kicked off the tree that I saw it to miss hit the pin and then went behind the basket that was crazy a little bit of luck involved but I don't think I really care because I hit that tree it was going to be stopping right up here anyways maybe flying a little past but got another birdie three down two more holes we can get to five hole 17 this one's called another Ace opportunity 194 straight up there I think I'm gonna go forehand with the Berg I could go backhand but I like the forehand maybe just straight at it just hit the gap good shot you can't really argue with this to be honest what a stupid disc but it's been good to me today he said five down was a thousand rated because there was just an event here in 10 20 it was seven so if I get this 30 we're going way back uphill I can actually get that five down which is what I'm shooting for oh my gosh I was gonna say I think we can make it happen and then I saw that there's no Fairway here what the heck the basket is straight that way the short t-pad is straight up that way I'll be honest I really like the idea that I have two throws to get 370 feet but that means I still need to get 190 feet off one and then 190 off the other I'm thinking maybe a forehand up here with a mid-range because there is a tiny little Gap or back end with the fuse and then we need to somehow get up again I'm a little concerned about this I'm thinking fuse on a like hyzer flip backhand Come on Anthony you can do this foreign easy get lucky no no ah what would this forehand up look like well that forehand would have been perfect unfortunately I kicked and rolled so it's gonna take the shot of a lifetime because I hit the tree and I'm back another 30 feet of it not in a good spot oh I got nothing absolutely nothing oh I got thorns in my leg I can there's a way to try to punch through but it doesn't look like super high percentage but we're gonna go for it nice I don't think I could have really done a lot better than that unless I just pitched which probably would have done a lot better actually that's unfortunate this is the short pad got here in two so we can still take par and then bogey free back nine would be great unfortunately too that forehand was like another 50 feet in front of us we got a straight forehand line threw up right through there or backhand line I like the forehand actually to step out a little bit my last stability my truth this is a really important shot to me I really want to be able to be bogey free right here keep going I think I might be inside the circle not inside the circle give myself a second to breathe about 45 feet for the par safe probably could have thrown a driver but if I hit something it's gone forever so this is able to still punch through a little and we got a headwind come on baby no it was good height that's all you can say that's good about that just never had a chance back nine with the bogey super unfortunate super crazy of course so if you haven't watched the front nine yet you have to watch it over here Steve we talked a lot about what these courses are and what they're planning on being awesome course I'm hoping I get to play arduous right now I'm gonna need to eat some food but I also might be late on time because this took a while to film and get everything together super crazy course I mean down three is not bad I can't complain that's about 980 rated so definitely could
