9 Holes w/ The Most "CONTROVERSIAL" Discs So Far This Year? // Prodigy x Gannon Buhr DGPT Win Discs

welcome back to Bonanza disc golf and a big congratulations to Ganon Burr I don't know if he's the youngest I mean he has to be to win an Elite Series a silver series and a major not even 18 yet and so today in honor of Ganon I picked up the open at Austin commemorative discs I'm coming to Texas States the A2 which a lot of people have said I would love to be my like perfect overstable approach this some people said it's a little too deep for my baby hands it actually feels comfortable and it feels a little different than a lot of other approach discs because it actually has some Dome and it's stiff which I think I'm gonna like and then also a ganenburg pa3 we're here at East Park Interlocken a course relatively close to me it's got three different t-pad positions but nine holes so we're gonna play The Originals here with just these discs we're going to play pretty strict there will be rules just to make things more interesting and hopefully shoot a good score maybe four or five six down it's really not a super long course here for instance we're starting at 180 feet forgot to warm up I should probably do that if you don't watch live disc golf you really I mean Ganon is one of the most exciting people to watch and I'm going to be doing some things that he's actually told me do with my form today are trying to I'm backhand pulling through on anhyzer this way keeping that elbow up I noticed for me I can't do that the way that my offering comes in so I really need to focus on getting the off arm down and that'll allow me to get my elbow up and snap out it's probably gonna be pretty ugly on some holes but luckily we're throwing forehand off the First with the A2 180 feet right into the basket not quite but tempe's not a bad start pa3 will do that little pull through thing brutal start absolutely brutal I think Gannon this year is going to have three wins across his Elite in majors at least I think he'll probably tag on a couple Silvers on top of that but he's one of the most exciting players to watch and honestly he's super exciting as well to watch an Alden Harris Vlogs not that we're starting to do a little Gannon putt if you don't know Alden Harris has Vlogs here on YouTube which are just like fun sketches from Life on tour and like Ganon is in him Isaac Robinson as a Robinson Gavin Babcock and other Pros that they interact with also in an interesting turn of events it seems like I'm actually about to pass Alden in subscribers like this month so go subscribe to Alden don't let me pass him his content's really good part three 261 down the hill right by that tree pa3 is a slightly stable putter it's got a little bead so it's actually beating in pretty fast the 350 plastic A2 is nice but there is we're gonna play it as an island Hazard if you don't make it over so uh and there's OB to the right in that little creek stable pa3 please thank you sit oh today I really like that they came through so flat that was unfortunate I really thought that PS3 was more stable but going downhill getting that nose down right in line seems like it probably went out right around here let's take our meter in we'll gain them putt again that's kind of funky I'm not throwing it nearly hard enough because I'm such a baby about it all right hole three here he's off in the teeth Pat not too bad sidewalk 220 feet Straight Ahead honestly I tried to film this video or started yesterday uh and I went to this course it was super busy and I forgot my mic so I played a couple holes all of those holes would be over on the dance bogeys probably at some point my second Channel and I went to another course and it was way too long so I filmed a different video that'll come out in a while but I think this pa3 got beaten a little fast so it might be a little less stable so gonna kind of throw the Ganon little baby Flex straight at it get this down oh baby what am I doing with my wife eh that disc went exactly where I put my hips pointed to so I just need to point my hips a little straighter I always want to overcompensate with a little hyzer but especially when you're throwing that BB Flex to get like a straight finish with like overstable disc that Google any Flex you gotta aim right at your target which feels like you're aiming a little more left when you always play for the hyzer like I do nice shot holy Hazard that's how we're playing that so that's a three because we weren't on this side of the sidewalk so another part that's okay all right basket straight down the way TPI kind of right there we're gonna go ahead and throw the A2 this definitely would be a pa3 shot most for sure throw it but again I'm really likes he talks about a lot when he hits gaps he likes to throw the overstable disc on a flex line at the left tree so it flexes and stays down the middle like that instead of being a hyzer flip player one of the things that that's good for is actually getting as long as the nose stays down you can get under trees a little bit better and carve those lines that's why Calvin is so good at uh being throwing such low ceiling shots we can go ahead here though and see I mean it's 280 with the A2 kind of warm this should be fun oh I think it's very stable down there though just such a big skip trick with that too is if I put more Annie on that and let it pan out to Flat we get a straighter skip or less of a skip because now I'm pin high but like 40 feet to the right Panther is pretty good you know I might put that in the bag and place in my P1 because it seems pretty straight it's not very overstable especially as it's a little beat and it feels good in my hands like I like a beaded putter for throwing feels very good I'd say the pan3 was a little bit decent right it's getting dropped it oh that's a bad line I thought I threw it too hard oh wait that's not how you put what am I thinking see type Gotta Throw This over on Instagram you know follow me on Instagram please thank you all right hold five looks like it was kind of designed for the A2 245 over the road just beyond that tree so throw it flat out there let it finish there's a Tailwind so that'll help as well but honestly because of the tailway maybe a little more hyzer because it'll stable but it might just drop instead of actually getting left so it's a little deep about 25 feet almost on top of it that's a brutal part dude 25-30 footer it's because I needed to be Gannon dude it just works only with the pa3 though all right we're not scoring well but we're having fun a lot of times that's what disc golf is about hole six par three 258 260. honestly gonna try the forehand with the A2 after we Ace it with the pa3 cut those skips but that was uh a little bit of a misrelease yeah but maybe you can't do with a twos all right hole seven is the one that I think might be a little out of the range it's 340 slightly uphill we're gonna play that sidewalk that crosses in front we're gonna play that as a river because I'm not playing that as an island it's three freeway phrase little Flex that's not a flex there's a good line feels a flex but it's just a hyzer honestly not bad just the nosing was kind of atrocious so if there's any turn I think I might have been able to get there because I'm about 40 feet short of pen High doesn't matter though maybe it does that was so bad it's because I didn't fall through better one nice all right holy 243 straight through there so they're sidewalk very much to the left so the spike Kaiser with the A2 could work but it probably requires about 300 320 which I think I might have with it but it's a little sketchy we could also try to flex it up the middle Baby Gap or throw a big hyzer with the pa3 because it'll land a little softer so I think we'll do that and then try to throw the flex line with the A2 for funsies really not getting any of this down I think one thing I've noticed is my shoulder I scrunch up my shoulder to get its lift up instead of lifting it up kind of with my scapula I don't know there's stuff to work on unfortunately why Juiced the crap out of that not expecting that but we will have a par putt y did I use that too oh yeah it's right next to pier three what the heck I hit the line at least I'm pretty happy about that all right I'm not too mad about pushing a spike hyzer with a putter 260 but I'm not happy it's OB The ganapo Works folks all right last hole we've been plagued by OB this round very non-gannon Lake unfortunately so we're two down not bad let's get it to three it's a 240 foot finishing hole straight up the money up the money strip uh I think we're gonna try to actually throw a flat shot pa3 everything's been coming out very Hazard it's been going whoa but we're gonna go flat oh that's it oh gosh Juiced it that's the flat that I wanted I know it was a little on hyzer we'll try to throw this A2 on a little flex line for Gannon up the gap please don't show that footage oh my again if you have any anhyzer tips and you're watching this video you know what I won't trouble you for that actually don't worry about it maybe one day I can be a quarter as good as you but uh until that day I'll keep throwing your discs in the trees probably sorry it's like alrighty one more putt since this time we'll do the Ganon putt just works folks it just works and this is very spinny so as long as you put it on the right line and give it enough juice it's going to stay laser straight you're probably not watching this video but if you are well what the heck was that solid discs best of luck for whatever is to come for you hopefully it all get settled very soon and as painless as it can be really excited to try these out A2 might I might think it's gonna make my bag but it's definitely a good it'll approach this could say it might be a little deep like people are saying so I'm still pulling around with zones P3 though might actually in place of my P1 from this Mania not the same disc but the p1's been a little too like fluky for me and if this gets beat into a really good point I like these base plastics for approach Putters instead of throwing Putters and since this is a three speed I feel like I have enough touch now that I can approach with it well and drive with it a little bit easier than the P1 because since it's the three speed rather than a two-speed I feel like they act
