Showcase my first signature model from MVP today I'm going to be throwing left-handed my best score ever out here left-handed is nine underpar that was when the course was easier there's a island hole there's some Mando so it's going to be a lot tougher today I know bodanza has been putting in work I don't think I'm going to beat him but uh we'll see how the round goes if he does we can say was a bribe you want to play for the disc I like the Envy idea so we're going to end up playing for this disc so if I win I get to keep it do you want to throw first or do you want me or do you want to put for it I'm I'm the guest right hey if that's how you want to play it all right I'll go first my guests typically aren't this cordial so I appreciate it okay whole one 192 ft actually I got a quick story about this hole shout out Simon this is the first hole Simon ever played in Colorado and his first throw in Colorado ever was an ace fun fact that's disgusting looks like he needs to come back more exactly all right good start that was a great start Flash and chains we're going to try to forehand this a little bit these first seven are a little shorter and then we got some long holes which do you think it could reach that normally with an MV or nine nine yeah yeah mm you think so for sure that's such a bomb you'll see how ridiculous that is soon Lefty Lefty whole nine no see maybe I parked it the other day with a May okay that makes more that makes you feel better oh it's smooth oh you got metal it's a good disc I I'll tell you did you like put something in these discs so that when they like get close to the basket it like run is that why you gave me this one specifically yeah that's how I want to they only work for me no they work for everybody they work for everybody this is where it gets tough I've been practicing Lefty putting but practice going only go so far he's overthinking it all right there we go right in the middle how is the switch Bend I know it's probably not as smooth as you need cuz you're not even throwing your typical hand inness yeah it's uh it's kind of tough to say right now but uh I had a pretty good opportunity to test a lot of stuff before surgery like illegally are you saying behind the scenes um and yeah I figured out that I like the disc that's like first first and foremost uh and MVP has such a uh big lineup when you combine all three of their uh Associated Brands so I figured it's the way to go for me with all that they've done Simon being there plus just me wanting a a fresh start it was this place to be and uh so far all the discs I've thrown have been uh nothing but good and I'm fully confident that uh I'm going to be able to find the perfect disc for each slot I'm looking for hold 2 183 up the hill stole your box got a nice little Lefty Gap right through there so hope he doesn't miss it in theory it's kind of crazy to think I'm having a trash talk a lefty Eagle wi man oh boy scramble time that wasn't the Gap I was talking about do you want me to like overlay the practice throws footage instead this is serious get through no oh even more scramble Ville all right well that was less than ideal is this out of the the putting range this is definitely out of the putting range acceptable two points for a throwing you going up the gut on this one no way I'm taking the easy Lefty route go all right that's good I'll take the ready route sings are kind of what you'd expect most EnV to be I'd say except they look about four times cooler hey all all MVP aam discs are beautiful oh no I might have a have a chance I'm starting to put righty but I almost feel like it's a disservice to the challenge if I tap it in righty I'm not going to do it no you can go for it it's all Lefty it's insane how good you are Lefty what how did you learn or like I guess not learn but like teach yourself obviously a lot of it comes down to having your arm being injured but uh I remember in 2019 I started like having the vision how cool it would be to develop a left-handed throw because I was I was telling bodanza it's like a forehand righty a left-handed backhand I feel like are two very different things just because when throwing a backand you're able to control the angle so much better um with like a mid-range it just comes out of the hand a lot cleaner with a forehand it's tough because you're getting a lot of wobble a lot of off axis torque unless you're a very select group of people I.E big germ so I figured if you're able to De develop a left-handed throw you're going to be able to throw lines that not really many people can throw plus throwing a we're alive they did not like what you were just talking about they don't they don't like my uh my theory throwing a backhand versus a forehand is just easier on the body ideally at some point I'd love to be able to get like a consistent 450 500t left hand so I'm is an insane thing to say it is but it's not it's not I I feel like you got to have the unlimited mindset it makes sense and I think it's 100% doable but it is still insane we're doing doing triple Mando well that's actually probably worse for me I've been throwing over that Mando all day in their practice I can squeak it through the Gap all right playing for par no gust no glory oh there it is nice shot should go for the thr R I'm developing a lefty forehand on the Fly that's all I need good I think I get the stroke back though so that's good also that's this a crazy athletic thing for you to say I'm developing a lucky forehand on the flly it takes time it takes time they're both different people it takes time two holes more more like six years I think it's better to do a uh a lot of a little than a little of a lot yeah if you can do cons if you can be consistent like even though I'll come out here and like not like my throw the fact that I'm coming out here and just touching it and if I keep doing that over and over again at some point it's going to compound into something yeah that makes sense got the box back nice little headwind 140 footer oh to right sit sit Lefty forehand you're doing it I might do it this is about to go in the basket right in my face this could be really bad and it worked Park it easy I hear bodan is looking for a putter this year maybe it'll be a prism proton my putter is going to be you I'm just going to sub you in no it's not nice how much how much uh how much would you pay me to putt with the prison Pro on M all year like a dinner I'll give you a Chipotle meal each quarter I me sold that's like $120 these days yeah I didn't say what the order looked like 2011 straight down the hill I really want us to take this middle should we take the middle line no we'll I'll try it little stable when you throwing those up sit all right dang it oh yes got to get the eagle Envy so as you thought about develop your Lefty form what are like the main like tenants of the form that you're really focusing on when you get started to get good power first and foremost is foot placement a lot of people plant with their foot facing open and that's just a huge energy Lake when uh transferring your power so when throwing Lefty if I want any semblance of any sort of power I'm trying to get the foot to plant at at least 90° if not pointed back so that's the first one and then of course getting a good reach back bringing across the body and a lot of it too is getting your wrist to fire like my right wrist versus my left wrist this wrist is so agile where this wrist is so clunky so when I'm sitting on the couch I'm like popping a disc getting my getting my wrist to fire quicker essentially because the wrist is what's going to take advantage all the power of your lower body and fire it in one point so that's kind of what I'm thinking when throwing Lefty what at all if anything are you thinking about your elbow I just like to guide think about just pulling with my elbow kind of like the elbow is like the first point that I'm pulling through with to essentially fire the shot other than that I'm not like thinking of it think of it too much I have a bad problem of pulling up too high throwing Lefty so I'm gradually trying to gradually get my arm lower and lower so I guess that's where uh maybe I should think about using the elbow a little bit more interesting I skipped way further away than I thought I was going to be I'd say this is out nice little 30f footer for Lefty jump P maybe 25 ft I'll give this one to you do it give me you know for stepping a 26- footer you don't really deserve it but yeah that was 34 at least one more stroke I'm up one now let's go 145 ft I think I'm going to try to just keep it straight on a forehand sounds more exciting oh my gosh he ped it nice shot nice I gotta go spiky oh my oh my I might have a rude awakening over there this isn't great but I just have to send it just send it oh no the scramble shots are what you think that one outside the circle too double double outside the circle can't believe I'm going to the Lefty forehand or even considering it it's about to buy me a new camera oh never mind I'll take it I'm happy nice layup no nice lay don't go easy on me I'm not I just need more practice straddle putting you got to make this one though technique is everything but a lot of time it doesn't necessarily mean you're going to just gain an extra 50 ft it takes time 100% and that's what you're talking about in the other Tad is something I've learned more experientially than knowledge wise like I know stuff takes a while but I also I like to try to push the limit a little bit of like oh you can definitely expedite I know it's going to take a long time but if I work like it's not going to take a long time I'm going to get closer in that short time than I would have if I was just like oh I just expected to take forever and so all right you can't see the basket this is the worst Basket in all Denver area to film straight down there 360 oh that's got some some mustard on it oh yeah might SC up in the circle it's close all right I have close to no expectations for this shot nope that's not parking it it's a two shot hole oh that was so bad jump jump slide slippery plastic guys it'll save you Strokes woo that's a good birdie this a guy Miss it's a really good birdie it's just cuz it's the eagle disc you know it's a good one it really is a good one it's definitely not like I think some people expected because he can throw 875 ft up a hill that these are going to be like the bbest demies ever but you don't want an Envy to be like crazy beefy it's you want an Envy to be just straight with a little bit of fade like think of the shot James Conrad throw it on just a touch of Annie and have it gradually flatten out that's what you want so this it's going to be Eagle year to Wi world I'm going for the shot all right this is the whole Eagle said that he was going to park for us today I might have to break out a roller ooh that's actually interesting that's a good call actually oh no I didn't set it down fast enough all right I really need to get it down quick actually I'm not going to throw it ho what oo not bad no that's once you get back to full health other than the Envy it's hard to say but I My gut's Telling Me pyro pyro or Dimension I really like the way those uh as prospects for my game cuz the Pyro is like this amazing like borderline utility mid-range and then the dimensions of 14 and 1 half speed just bomber so can't wait to I can't wait to get those there was a try out on tour well I still have the box that was very nice of Eagle if the autofocus isn't working it's cuz I literally just tripped on my tripod and dropped the camera so sorry Colorado heisers yep sit shot sit soft everything kind of looks fuzzy I don't like that that's not a jam not going to lie I appreciate that I'm not going to lose the eagle Lefty more than likely it can still happen 210 straight ahead if I get it are you could be a it could be a birdie too that could be an ace no this thing really like Glides on the Hiser as it slows down it's really nice yeah that's what I've noticed too the amount of Glide it has is kind of Staggering cuz it'll just move in whatever Direction your heer's going oh the putt is falling apart that one's not a gimme it is not a gimme I will agree with you look the other direction think about something else just to get disc offl out of your mind and then just turn around and putt it fair that's a tip for you guys if you can't think about disc golf think about something else turn around putt it real quick we'll go in every time every time do that in tournaments and blame Eagle if you lose my DMs is going to be full of hate Island hole is coming up the island hole is coming up on the famous hole 15 famous they're all famous out here it's 225 ft oh I SN staying straighter I don't feel like I threw that good and it was parked why did it go so straight cuz I popped it at the end oh that's get there that was short it's on the dance floor that was so short oh clutched up oh my goodness nice putt I thought that was spitting right back at me maybe he will put with the Envy just not in the elevated baskets I'll have another putter for that one yeah oh boy your box are you going to be clutch stick the little log Island down there I don't know what I'm doing but I feel like it might work I think you just got to take a deep breath aim a little bit left and send it oh get through the Gap no way sit I did it ohome so lucky I made the island hot of the year so far oh I think you got it oh no almost almost jumped over all right so Eagles in the island with a putt just short and it looks like we got a drop zone here no didn't even give it a chance I got a bank on him missing which is not what you want Lefty Eagle righty Eagle doesn't matter I don't really know where the line is all right look the other way we'll test the theory think about something else and then think about disc golf no I hope people didn't already try your Theory without watching two more holes cuz they played a whole tournament they saw my clip and like I'm going to try that oh my these holes he can tie his record at 9 under it was that one called empathy as well there's the Envy there's entropy and then there's empathy and that's what that was whole 17 we got a par three 26 ft yeah crazy right I'm taking the left route just trying to squeak in slide in a little Heiser we're all tied up don't let it change don't hit anything now sit that is tester you're living in tville
