Disc Golf Companies Sent me a TON Of Cool Stuff // [Ep. 1]

for the past few months I've had an idea to make this video because there are a lot of things that disc golf companies want advertised and right now influencers are obviously just a very cheap way to make that happen I think we're a little underpriced honestly in the market and I like building my relationship with all these disc golf companies but not everything should be its own video or even can be its own video on my channel so today I have like 10 or 11 different things that I want to do little micro reviews for and hopefully make this a monthly series however often I get this many things because I actually have a PO Box that now since I'm in Denver you can send stuff to so here is the address it's also linked down in the description you do have to put that number in otherwise they're going to get very mad at me let's swing through a couple courses and talk about a lot of really cool stuff that disc golf companies have sent me because this video is also going to be unique on my channel because you guys know I typically don't link to anything in my videos just because people aren't paying me for the most part to do it and still no one's paying me for this video at all but I figure since we're doing so many micro reviews and these are a lot of companies that are either smaller or I just want to help out with my channel and who are helping me out by sending me stuff I'll link to everything down in the descriptions none of it will be able link so I won't get paid by any of it except for one thing the first micro view is going to be of this hooligan discs rope this is a Proto because Garrett sent this over like maybe four or five months ago I just never really got around to throwing it but this is such a cool little stamp it looks pretty neutral it looks very similar to the origin or also this is Amana from thought space this looks slightly more overstable honestly very similar to The Clash discs Cherry which I reviewed this is the new Cash Dash round so if you want to pick some of these up they're up at dance.com that'll be the first link and these are made by Lone Star so I think this is like in their alpha-esque plastic this whole is like 350 feet whoa pretty Flippy well I think it's flippier than the Mana is honestly so I just looked up some information on the rope and I think that the one that I was sent a while back is going to be different than the one that was just approved because it was apparently approved July 31st and I think I got this Pro to run like a while ago I think that they probably retooled it again if I want to see my hands on it again to be a little more stable because they call it five four zero zero interesting oh I just think that that unapproved one is going to be a little bit different than the neurons that come out based on the flight numbers alone I will say too if you are a company and you want to send me some stuff like to review that's what these videos would be for if just anybody wants to send me any discs or anything like that likely they won't make their own video or this video is a good thing this isn't a putter but I'll definitely unbox everything just like as part of other videos we'll just do like little mail call segments thank you okay I think that thing goes but I know Garrett watches a lot of these videos sometimes so if you see a comment from hooligan down there he'll let you know if the new runs are a little more stable in that one or not I'm gonna try to give this guy a little forehand rip this honestly reminds me almost exactly of the Flight of the flip that I had the flip even was a little glidier because it was a little domeier so much hyzer oh my gosh oh my goodness gracious I'm trying to throw the same shot with the Mana and it's gonna get next to the basket oh it wasn't quite as much as power put into that one oh not bad all right you can see him down there we got about 380 feet I believe I'd be happy to clear the road this reminds me of the flip as well where it seems like this is slightly larger diameter I'm trying not to there and you can definitely see all right we'll throw the Mana first as a Baseline oh it's never getting out of that okay I'm honestly glad I threw that first that desk is so Flippy oh that's not bad oh my gosh I gotta really like how ridiculously understable this disc is but I know that that's not what was intended to be what okay that'll work we gotta look dude we're giving this rope one more shot hole one the warm-up hole we can birdie with it gets a stamp of approved oh we figured you out buddy we figured it out so good okay step of approval that was beautiful holy cow I want to give a massive shout out to infinite discs for sending me a while back something that I didn't know if I would use too much especially since I had the van but it's come in super handy for me and it's this boat there's a cover that comes with this which I actually just have kind of stowed in here personally I find this thing to be super useful I think it holds like 60 to 80 discs and I put all of my like Putters and approach discs in here I have a fieldwork bag for all of my mid-ranges up through drivers which are all my backups just about and then I can imagine a ton more drivers so I just have like my zones glitches envies and piers and then back here I have like a bunch of random stuff I keep like the little umbrella thing that I put on the camera if it's not in one of my review bags towels just changes with clothes little arm sleeves to hopefully never have to wear again minis chalk bags and then all my tags kind of go on the side here and then their side pockets all over the place this is actually like surprisingly useful especially once I do downgrade from this van and get a car I am going to be super grateful that they had sent one of these out to me does also have a cover so you can like close it if you don't want people seeing it in the back of your trunk yeah they had said this to me a while back I'm gonna put a review on my second Channel at some point done in a while back as well I just never got around to actually posting it so sorry about that infinite but if you're looking for something to hold a ton of this and be super useful because this also has carrying handles so you can just take it out to the field with you but I'm just able to grab like five Putters whenever I get somewhere early go and pot put them all back surprisingly one of my favorite things that has been said to me by disco company in a while welcome to the first of two one-third reviews technically gonna be two throw reviews because we have two of these discs Prodigy sent out their new archive mid-range 5502 when I when I unboxed it I said It felt exactly like emac truth it seems a little slightly bit deeper but they look very similar these are gonna have a full video which is why we're only giving them one throw each heard that they're pretty stable like you can even beforehand them doesn't seem like a mid that I would love to like chop over in a forehand kind of like a Pathfinder a little touchier 337 feet down there start with the translucent little gummier 400 plastic oh stable oh got out of that real fast okay I didn't really think I Juiced it that much because I wanted it to hold that turn and it did not want to throw at the 500 or an attic this one's a little more stable foreign I think we're probably about 20 feet very glidy and pretty overstable mid I've heard a lot of people say that they're surprised that this is Isaac's mid because he's like the M4 guy the flippier mid-range but I seem to throw a lot of stuff on that flex and my guess is since he likes to throw a lot of like fx2s or the more stable Fairways he wanted something that was a mid-range that was speedless and he could do the same thing with and get a mid-range type of light but I have seen him throw the m1s a lot recently on that flex but this archive seems like a pretty solid mold I'm going to be comparing it to Pathfinders and the emac truth subscribe for that it'll come soon honestly even being here in Denver I don't think it's quite as overstable as people were making it out to be from the content that I saw it is definitely a neutral to overstable mid-range that's the one shot review see you on the next one too all right I'm parked on a super slant but we're back at allostan for the first of two nine hole three-disc battles but we're gonna be playing here only with discs that Drew Gibson and his team mainly Marcus sent me Drew's basically begging me to have a full review of this this the torque so we're gonna throw it a couple times here but mainly do a full review of it here soon and so I'll link that disc as well as his the bag subscription which I think is like two discs every month they sent me one of them which has this kind of cool little Gibson money bag stamp which is his signature scepter Halo scepter basically from what I understand it's a flat top firebird and then this is the James Proctor Pace a disc that broderickly loves and he throws farther than me and His Hands bigger than me and so this is much more comfortable to him because it's very like p2-esque really love the Wonder Bread stamp big shout out Marcus thank you for sending this out probably starting the whole three though because there are people all over this course because I decided to wait until Saturday to film this just a little pitch hyzer what can I say Firebirds I mean scepters are good all right well two is right there I think it's like right around 290-ish feet we're gonna back in this pace all right you see the basket straight through there play might be a little Flex forehand over that bush it's like 390 though I parked the first basket not quite fully Juiced I was a little scared of hitting some branches that's a great layup right there you know alrighty Mando left that tree 388 you know I think we're gonna try the back end of torque needs a lot to turn on the hand man this is just too far for anything just for me okay it's flying more like an eight speed when you throw it like that instead of like on your baby forehand that kind of goes but it's very stable that's pretty nice okay let's see if I could have gotten the forehand there okay honestly pretty stoked on both of those the scepter that's a circle birdies this is a torque which I threw I didn't have to throw as hard as I ripped the scepter on the forehand and it's like basically pen High no dude that felt so good one down it's not looking too good right now got an easy birdie holding axle now if I mess that up might as well unsubscribe I told you if I messed that up you gotta unsubscribe thank you Mr Proctor 385 into a headwind I feel like it's kind of like what the torque is built for honestly I'm gonna give it a pop of flex just because 385 with seven or eight speed for me is close to Max whoa that thing kind of goes for an eight speed like it seems kind of fast I'm gonna be honest initially I didn't love the feel of the torque just because how big and domey it was but it fills my hand well I feel like I'm able to get a great rip into it and new disc is calling this disc right now 411 feet I can't put with p2s I'm so bad at it just so deep I can't extend my fingers because my fingers don't even barely touch the bottom oh it's not a P2 but it reminds me of P2 alrighty three holes left the putting is letting me down I was thinking about bringing out a putter since I'm gonna bring out a putter for the other nine hole challenge video but you live and you learn I've been rolling over on it like a zone or a Zone OS I need to throw it like an overstable putter I think if it like my envies yeah look at that you throw it like a putter it flies like a putter I can make those putts for sure it's gonna be short oh not even a skip all right I'm gonna aim a little high and a little more wrist action on this putt just because I can't get my finger pop that might be my new putter honestly Straight Ahead they're 349 feet I think we're gonna try to backhand the torque ah let me get the nose now it doesn't fight out as much the torque just gets birdies you know oh dang it all right we had to come to a little bit of a longer course for this next one because if you guys remember I did a Discraft mystery box in that box they also sent me all the Zone OS that you guys have seen but on top of that there were also Venoms there was another Venom and then these two Z Venoms which I haven't even touched yet this one is like 158 grams this one's 165 to 169 so we're gonna throw these against the cash dash Raider which is Max weight very domey like the Venoms seems like it goes far and then right now this is kind of my bomber distance driver it's a destroyer it's a little flippy though it's 171 we're gonna throw these on three holes together forehand for the first one and then a couple bombs for the last two 300 foot hole here we're gonna throw the Baseline with this Destroyer because I kind of know how it flies got the turn now it's going to come back oh man that thing just grips I'm gonna put this on a little Flex there is a little bit of a right to left go in go buy a cash Raider right now all right now for these Elite Venom okay it is pretty understable for a Venom oh my gosh that Raider is so good this one is so pop top whoa that's so stable what goes far though I'm excited to throw this there's a pretty big bomber like uphill 410 foot hole so I didn't get as clean of a release with those Venoms I think honestly if you look at them they're a little more like winged than both of these honestly pretty close to the Raider just a little more aggressive oh they also only call this one a z-venom not Z Light because it's 150 167 169 kind of wonder when they turn into Z Light we're gonna throw the Raider first it's really trying to force it over and get that nose angled down whoa jeez so it rode the wind pretty good we're gonna have to put this a lot more left because this Destroyer is flipper than that Raider perfect now it's time to see how stable these Venoms are honestly I feel like that Raider line even though these are lighter I think these still kind of super overstable I'm not 100 sure honestly kind of the Raider line there oh bomb past the basket I think this one honestly the same I think it'll honestly just go farther it'll be taken by the wind a little bit easier but it's still pretty overstable I don't think it's as overstable as that red one actually I think it's too light wow that got there so fast though all right so these all just kind of rip past the basket well the pink one sucks 25 feet long on an uphill 401 inch foot hole is not bad basically all there too because it's kind of hit and Sack so I've never done this or even really like tried but we're gonna try to Birdie the practice basket the basket that's in the middle that you can see is 409 feet away from us and then probably about another 100-ish feet we're gonna pretend like we're only throwing these because I didn't just rip two terrible shots but this is a 150 165 to 1 69. oh no all right we are not getting there in this wind we're gonna have to commit higher more nose down and more right with the lighter one so popped up a heartbeat get out of it and swing oh it's hard on the right to left because if you don't know how to play the win obviously you showed the flight plate the wind's gonna get under and push it but you show it the opposite the wind's gonna bat it down so you need to have a disc that is overstable enough that you can really rip it on that anhyzer nose down so it'll extend your stand there and then once it gets back to this point it'll lift I was hoping that Venom will get there but it seemed a little too light or just a little too beat down but that's what the cash test is made for oh good height so straight stay straight stay straight oh so I wanted to give a big shout out to Chris who makes custom stamps I'm going to link this down in the description just like everything else if you want to pick any of them up but when I say custom stamps I mean like for the bottom of your discs I know there are some companies that did this but here's the first person reached out to me and sent this out to me in back in like March so obviously I've gotten some great use out of it very interested to kind of see how it goes never really used a stamp like this or at least haven't since I was like a child I haven't used this I feel like it could be pretty cool and useful that way like if people find my stuff they can return it to me or at least just like follow the channel if you ever find something in mind if I haven't like actively talked about wanting it back just keep it oh that's pretty cool it's a pretty cool thing I don't know quite how much I'll use it but if you want to snag one of these for your own gifts or something pretty neat little idea instead of just writing your name but I kind of like the handwriting honestly probably end up using this for like boxes to ship my stuff in so I'll just keep it in my office and just stamp some boxes welcome to the Rock time for the second nine hole Challenge from today's video this is a monthly box that was sent to me from Foundation that I was pretty worried about because as a part of their like influencer program I guess I was getting monthly boxes from them that were their subscription boxes and I went on a road trip in May that was planning on being like five months long ended up only being two months you guys probably already know that story if you don't go watch like 50 more videos on my channel appreciate you very much please subscribe and they sent me this box like two days before I was leaving and the estimated delivery date was the day after I was supposed to be gone and so this was sitting in my Apartments like mail room for months if I remember correctly this is like the March box called The Bird Box looks like a custom Halo Firebird Hunter you're gonna have to tell me how you do these custom Halo runs because from my understanding you can't do these this one is super dummy so even more different than that this is a little domeier big Z Raptor which I'm super excited for I really like how the Raptor feels and then a disc that we did not really get along with 2-0 when we first started on the channel which is the grackle Sublime grackle we shot three down with the box from Marcus over at Finish Line see if we can shoot four or better with these I think this will be a little easier honestly because I'm a little more familiar with these but I am going to be putting with my normal putting Putters so we can count it as cheating should be easy birdie oh I can't be saying that I'm gonna be eating a lot of my gnats over here what the heck is Cold Creek doing cash test Putters they can go in the basket also I know I'm only like putting the piers I do have wardens and judges as well if you didn't check out yesterday's video all in basically the zero medium AKA classic blend we're gonna throw the sublime grackle the main thing I remember not liking about this is it slipped out of my hands a little bit had our third hole 296 uphill headwind left to right AKA grackle City whoa no flip at all not even left flip we're not living in grackle City anymore they just go in the basket been throwing this big Z Raptor as a first shot yet but from the couple like little practice swings I've gotten it's a little shallower a little flatter but less stable than the Fireblade yes oh foreign was 360 feet they called Par Four it is absolutely not it is just over this hill but you gotta it takes a lot to Crest the hill because the hill is probably about 300 feet away I think we're gonna go grackle oh I just noticed this is a 167. oh way too straight okay we got over the hill oh man I really tried to give the Graco another chance it's just not the disc for me I was gonna throw the Raptor I think we're gonna throw the firebird instead whoa that thing is stable oh it's so stable it gets the roll back to the basket let's go sit that got a full flight skip taking the grackle out of time out because I feel like it's just the perfect little pushing hyzer it's pretty stable kind of stable as a votum I found foreign box is definitely winning this monthly battle but in True Foundation fashion no matter what happens here we're gonna have to rule it out due to technicality that was some slippage technicalities what are you gonna do alrighty time for another one throw review today with something that this Mania sent me out first off the Jolly Rancher obviously I actually kind of need this have not eaten a lot since I've been filming all these but they sent out a nice Vanguard this is also going to get its own video which is why it's only a one shot review clean little black stamp shout out Kyle Klein this Signature Series and I was chilling with him a little bit and they're saying that it's a little bit of a like slower more beaten PD and then I heard a politis I'll say that it's like a straighter Thunderbird whereas the honor is a more overstable Thunderbird so we're going to compare it to the honor we'll bring out the CD one as well and the feedback from Prodigy because I think that this will probably fly pretty similar to that it doesn't look crazy stable and it doesn't have like a beat at the edge seems like it'll probably be a little faster than the honor at least like have less hookup slightly uphill 345 feet we're gonna throw this on a turnover foreign oh it does have some turn oh all right it's what I think it is this Vanguard seems like it rips and out of my hand I was like oh it's perfect and then it got like that little bit of extra turn that you might have seen which kind of surprised me all right see if like the weirdest one for last at least weirdest massive shout out to Trent who found me at Blue Ribbon Pines in Minnesota and gave me the arowana which is a new disc from elevation discs ptg approved Taco aren't making so many tacos I think this is supposed to be slightly understable and this is a good feeling plastic I've thrown the koi I threw these discs before but the floppiness I just can't really deal with but we're gonna try to shoot under par over five or six holes here at Interlochen Park the shorter course this thing is supposed to sit down really well so hopefully we don't throw it in the river I got beef with you boy hole one 180 Straight Ahead there I think it's gonna be a Heiser flip guy don't want to go be in the sidewalk oh it's so weird please don't be a weird player that felt kind of normal actually surprisingly well two also I like the artwork on this oh it's so floppy I think we're gonna put just a touch of hyzer a little left of it because I think it's gonna flip up and turn a little that'll work it's pretty stable what are the numbers I thought oh that's my lens cap I should make lens cap minis that'd be pretty cool elevation arowana yeah three three negative one two three three negative one two are weird flight numbers for Putters you typically don't see like a negative and then a two I don't know if I would give that those numbers I'd say it's like pretty point and shoot honestly kind of feels normal to putt with on the super super floppy end but it's not like super soft like it doesn't feel super soft it just feels super floppy which is a weird combo 220 feet Straight Ahead head left to right yeah I definitely would say it's not a negative one two three three zero zero point five or something like that the arowana Magic that feels surprisingly great to put with alrighty here's the Moment of Truth 279 feet to the basket ah man I kind of want to throw it on a hyzer straight at it just in case when I throw it this hard it gets up and drift oh oh now I see the negative one too wow it has to get up to a pretty high speed why more understandable than I thought we'll see if it's on the bottom chili hey I didn't see anything it could have hit on got a little collection Point down here oh did I just step on it here no it's just a destroyer we gotta put like a little gate here it's officially gone forever and I actually liked it but I did find this pop top Star Destroyer someone's number on it kind of we're gonna text them and try to get it back to him shout out Brian for losing it but first we're gonna give it a rip and see if it's a good Destroyer all right the t-pad that's up there is like 260. a Penn star DS hopefully they don't want it back as long as it's good into a headboard I'm gonna go pick it up and get that back to him sorry I've only got three holes in with the arowana hope you enjoyed this style of video
