INNOVA MADE A STABLE GLITCH?!?! // Halo Aero vs Glow Glitch

today we're bringing back a highly requested series with a disc that I have been wanting to throw since it came out but I have just not yet got my hands on it we're going to be playing with a big germs favorite glidey putter the Halo Arrow he throws this all over the place you've probably seen it against the new Eclipse glitches which are Simons maybe not the eclipse ones but Simon his favorite glty putter is the glitch so big German vers Simon we'll see which one does better I think the record that I have at Johnny putter reviews is 15 under par because we play at Johnny Roberts his golf course the second most popular course in the nation now the eclipse glitches that just came out actually was throwing them a little bit just trying to do some ACE runs but these are surprisingly similar to just normal glitches we might try to do some ACE runs today but honestly putting with these is going to be a little bit interesting so we're going to try not to leave ourselves too many l putts hole one is Straight Ahead 180 ft all of these pads are super muddy cuz it's super muddy out and this is such a highly traffic course I think since the arrow is kind of the main one from today's video we're going to throw it first they call the numbers 360 just try to put it under the basket oh wow it's so straight not bad at all glitch okay it does seem to have a little more faith in the glitch at least off those first throws oh those are money what good discs what's kind of funny is that like in my head Cannon which I know is super untrue but for some reason I feel like the Halo arrow is a response to the glitch and in a sense it might be except for the fact that this is the 40th anniversary Halo arrow and so this disc is literally 40 years old where the glitch is like one I think it's like one of inova's first actual discs oh so this is pretty sweet I don't know if this is like because of the arrow but instead of having like the typical embossing there they have for like the names of discs and maybe it is in a sense a response because they're like oh my gosh the glitch is so popular we should bring this guy back which we've already had but it's also so much older but since I'm newer to this golf in my stupid head I'm like oh my God they made this and then and them made this it's like yeah if you're thinking 38 years off the timeline whole two is 23 ft Straight Ahead there a the box since we birdie birdie and this is a good one to try to Ace kind of see just how glidey they are but the reason I think that this is like germs favorite disc germ is known as Big germ and this disc is like a freaking Bowl it is so deep it's by far like the deepest three-speed I think I've ever felt and like I'm having to like struggle especially because it's deep it's got a high shoulder and it's Dy so it's just a freaking dish of a disc much more like a normal disc still deep since it's a one-speed I could see why it's his favorite disc cuz he probably can this problem and I'm like holding on for dear life over here get there no that thing is really glidey like I might prefer the flight of that over this cuz sometimes this just pushes too straight that's what I mean so straight like I thought I threw a good line sit down oh that's a good sit we should have a couple birdie looks I think I was really good at showing what the typical flight of those disc is because the arrow it's going to really glide on that line that you put it on with with like a touch of overstability where the glitch is just going to want to go straight like it just does not want to move left or right almost at all nice and glidey baby we're going to use the bottom side of this to knal cuz it is so muddy two for two so whole three is pretty big it's 273 ft straight ahead of us here Arrow still has the Box inclination is to throw it flat but I do think it'll turn if you throw it this hard this flat so I think we're going to just pop it on a little bit of Hiser kind of aiming at the trees that are just to the right of the basket so it was a little outside of those trees got the distance but it definitely wants to push straight when you throw it a little faster didn't really get a good full rip on it I probably got to think about gripping it a little tighter so it won't slip out of my hands when it's cold and so deep oh no see it's just a normal glitch I thought the E clips would make it a little more stable than man the arrow feels very different but I definitely think it's basically what people would want a stable glitch to be from these first couple throws it really feels more like a mid-range though like the depth the width doesn't really feel like a putter it's definitely bigger than a putter maybe like 46 but I think 36 is pretty right about the speed because it's so like blunt and thick on the side that even if it's a little bit wider diameter it still probably flies like a three-speed if you care at all about flight numbers which I secretly do I kind of love them don't hate me oh dang it couple pars thought we were going to keep the arrow perfect this this was around in 1983 it's like 15 years older than me this rispy that's crazy 4 165 Straight Ahead we're going to continue throwing these on some anheiser continue I don't think we have yet but I want to kind of throw on anheiser and try to throw them slow enough that they'll actually Panda fly instead of just holding which is a hard thing to do with these discs that is such a good disc oh too much wind get it oh man that's better those are some pretty good runs I really think about obviously not being pic Beth cuz I'm not freaking pic Beth but when I watch him throw sometimes I like watch him throw and he just kind of looks like he's kind of opening his hand up and that's sometimes how I feel like I have to throw these discs to put a little less spin on them because with these type of discs I feel like more spin the longer it just wants to stay in the air and go compared to giving it more speed and so if I can impart a little less spin on him by like opening up my hand and just kind of letting them go out there and do their thing that helped those flights I really thought I was going to get it with one of them here we go so you can see it straight ahead we got a little super shorty 150 ft with this left right it's going to be a little tough because it's going to push the disc a lot and you don't want a lot of speed a touch a anheiser very slow get through that was pretty lucky to get over that was I said Slow not low but I think my brain didn't hear the S much better that was so slow I think we got it inside the circle look just let the wind push it and then it just kind of drops out of the sky it's Bo for you getting it chane high and then it'll stay there but if you throw it at the cage it's going to hit the cage I don't mind dude I freaking love a glitch this one for some reason the stamp is cool not my favorite glitch I don't know why I like the plastic though a total eclipse glitch dude I think people would go feral for a total eclipse glitch where the rim and the flightlight are glow oh I think people would die 275 ft Straight Ahead glitch now has the box and we got like our first nice teapad of the day I think here we're going to try to just hit it flat a little left of the basket and see if it'll kind of turn for us you see though like it was Hiser and it just like Rod straight are you guys you guys able to throw or you want me to finish out no we got 50 bucks if we hit that camera maybe a little more than 50 bucks oh man also not flat but a better Hiser I appreciate you not cashing in that bet but both of them just want to go I do think the arrow it seems like it wants to get to the ground a little more but it is also faster like it flies it seems like it flies faster so even though I'm like oh no it's falling out of the sky it's fall out of this guy further than if I was seeing the glitch do the same type of flight if you understand what I mean oh no dude what the heck was that you really got to use some wrist and like put it right on the pole and those are two things that I have been not great at recently so we're going to try to dial it in for these last couple holes we're still at three and four down 183 ft Dead Ahead oh a little higher no I put it too straight okay I definitely expected that to be more overstable than that which I don't know why I did but maybe it's just the feel of it being like a bigger more mid-range like dis I really want to get one today but I'm really stoked that I have an arrow cuz it is like like a sneaky fun Disc that I've been surprised that I know big germ bags it and likes it but I haven't seen a lot of adoption of like this disc from just the general public of people like I know tons of people who bag glitches including myself I don't know a single person who bags an arrow including myself here little big German a little forehand for you five down to two down all right here we have 204 I really didn't hate how this threw on the forehead I just hatte how high I Threw It On The forand Glitch first though just going to throw it straight at it drop drop drop drop drop drop dang right over top in honor of big germ we're giving this a flick oh it's more okay I threw it super slow but I thought it kind of pop up and over seems to have a little more stability than I gave it credit for there we'll definitely try to flick it again a couple more times pretty disappointing for showing there though there is something that like when you pick this thing up if you never felt one before you're like holy crap this is so much in the hand I definitely think that these are more they're a little more different than I expected but they're it's weird cuz they're more different than I expected but they're also more similar than I expected just in different ways like I expected this to be more overstable you throw it has a little bit more finish doesn't seem to have that finish but it seems to be significantly more speed dependent than the glitch does which as you go up in speed from one to three speed that would make sense because the faster something is the more nose angle and speed dependent it is and I think that that's definitely showing between these two discs cuz the glitch you can almost throw it however and as long as you give it a little Spin and a push in the right direction it'll go there the arrow I think is similar but not quite the same as much as I thought this one's 240 whole 9 straight ahead I think we're going to give both of them a forehand we're going to give a nice higher stand up give a little power but really focus on the wrist and flicking them well that's money get don't get don't get oh whoa that was weird I've never seen a disc fly like that I don't think I hit it well enough you guys know I talk about baby hands all the time I'm I'm not a big dude I'm 5'6 there's definitely something with uh poor release there that I'll probably just continue to backhand this I don't think my fingers are literally big enough for how deep and Dy that disc is to get a clean release on the forehand cuz I felt like I imparted similar Spin and they just like didn't come out the same but the way that that thing like fluttered and like was on Hiser for a while and then like fluttered past flat was so weird I've never seen that before in my life we're definitely going to have to drain this one but it's not fun to miss all your putts all right guys we need to have a little bit of a heart to heart we're through nine holes we're two down with the arrow really just point this thing I want to do better I need it to do better glitch five down not the end of the world but the best we can do is 14 so a little disappointed there want to get them to 10 down I'm going to need to get eight of the last nine with the arrow so we really got to just focus up stop being a baby stop making excuses about the hand feel maybe it's true it's still an excuse if I don't correct it and figure out how to compensate cuz I'm smart and good enough to do that thank you guys for giving me this pep talk let's rip it let's get an ace to why not let's just hope for everything in the world okay We snuck on the inside stay I did it it's flat miss that tree I'm just proud that I I threw it flat the glitch is kind of a touchy disc this also seems kind of touchy you can throw it a little harder it's a little more torque resistant for sure but it also is equally touchy which is kind of weird if not more touchy swing back baby come on really trying to open my hand up oh a little deep I felt like I at least tried to throw those the exact same maybe this is just a a consequence of how deep it is it's much easier to put a lot of off aess torque on there like you see a lot more flutter out of that disc than you do out of the glitch for me it's hard for me to say all this mostly because of how much I still love this disc which is a very weird thing for me I don't typically love discs that are not comfortable at all for me maybe it's for things like that straight ahead Arrow now has the Box get stable all right o that's a great B with a glitch we'll go ahead and call it 7 to three oh cross dude glitches in what honestly a bit interesting is that I think people wanted this to be a more stable glitch and I think if you want that and you can stomach it this might be what the more stable glitch people are looking for is it's definitely a different feeling disc but I think if you want the glitch is flight and more stability and torque resistance I think this is just a more stable glitch be a big ger real fast all right straight ahead 195 dang little anheiser out of the hand and it'll drift on that right to almost parked if not it just slid right past the basket but there's is something about throwing glitches that you just can't get over it is annoying how there's like no stability sometimes I'm like oh why did I just miss just right the basket but that's also the beauty of it and I think it teaches you a lot about neutral flights where this does similarly but this is like a beginner glitch you know I think if you have like somewhat of power and you don't like how lack of torque resist in the glitch is that can get you into neutral discs and then you go to the glitch it also kind of seems like a baby moo which is maybe what the moo was going for I got a lot of thoughts I don't know if any of them are good sorry that's it oh it's so long that is also a difference I've seen is the glitch when you throw it long it doesn't go nearly as long because it is a different speed oh little slip to perfect see if that a glitches in I think this really shows the speed difference because the arrow went here and the glit glitch went here and they're right next to each other nine where's the drift it's a good thing to remember when you got a onee like a glitch and you throw it straight on the line it doesn't want to like move a lot right oh man I keep slipping on these teads oh no man dude I'm trying to love you you so much and you're making it so hard on maybe my genetics and super small freaking hands are making it so hard on me but I'm going to blame you sorry got to see that it's a little more drop in drop in oh just over top it's so hard cuz when I throw it slow I love the Arrow when I throw it fast I don't like it that much cuz I just can't get into it I also really love big germ and so maybe that's one of the reasons why I like the arrow so much also at the end of this video I'll link a video where I crashed a doubles League that big German was also really funny interview with him at the end of the video had a blast with bradden who was my doubles partner at a random doubles night Massachusetts right after filming with Simon two holes left 17 is a nice little bomber for this course an 18 is a nice like straight shot I really want to get Ace with these guys especially the arrow cuz that's the only thing that can redeem it and give me a reason why I love it so much since I do love it so much I don't get it big turnover well this one will kind of be flat to turn over kind of is stay straight ah wow that thing just goes hold it hold it oh great hike just a little left and like that's the crazy thing is you put on an aneis it just kind of stays on it you think it would fight out but it doesn't want to I don't understand not going to lie that shot shape give me another reason to fall back in love with that disc I know it's talking what it's the truth for how like nose up I throw my drives I'm really bad at like those air bouncy nose up puts oh my gosh I don't understand you disc thank goodness all righty baby 243 Straight Ahead perfect little glitch shot oh never mind don't go B I stopped just before the sidewalk I think that that's my problem I can't throw the glitch on Annie very well and this thing I can but I think like if you have big hands and like really good spin control like J does especially on a forehand like this disc is almost a dream drift oh too flat it just flies so good and I hate that I love it so much days the gross oh gosh see like that's the problem I suck with it so much we're not even worried about the score with the arrow if you want to watch more not make the leaderboards for the Johnny putter reviews this is pretty bad showing today but a lot of fun with these discs oh okay second throw second throw we're thinking about the second throw stay
