LIZOTTLE vs My HEX: 9 Hole Battle // Should You Try It?

welcome back to Bonanza disc golf I finally got my hands on a Lazada this way so today we're going to be taking a look at the lozado versus just a regular Neutron hex that I've been throwing a little bit so it's maybe slightly beat in very similar weights 177 176. we're just gonna play nine holes here at Bill Frederick Park in Orlando one of the best courses in the area by far and you guys already shorts like anybody if I can't beat par with either of these discs over these nine holes I'm gonna give them away which is a little bit scary to me because it's a little windy I've not been playing the best accuracy wise and this course isn't the easiest but I haven't played from the short so hopefully it gets easier here all right hole one straight ahead of us it says 306 feet nice and simple downhill shot honestly these just look so cool and they're glow which is sick I don't imagine there will be much difference I'm kind of hoping it's slightly more stable because I have not been getting along with my hex a lot recently get under that okay yeah let's go oh yeah short a little short a little two nose up or just a little high I could throw this down a little more let's see if there's any difference between the Lozada oh not if you release it left hit a tree first throw but we're in bounds maybe Simon has just painted disc golf it's not me that's for sure definitely not me so if you guys don't know a flippy disc golf they make some of the most comfortable and kind of coolest patterned shirts jerseys and hats for playing disc golf especially during just fun casual rounds this jersey is kind of an interesting fabric it's very comfortable I'm interested to see how it handles the Florida heat and humidity because as you guys notice I swept through everything the sweatshirts are some of the most comfortable sweatshirts that I've ever worn it's 85 degrees right now at 10 o'clock in Florida so I'm probably not going to be wearing a sweatshirt today well they run a little bit big maybe like a quarter half size big but that's very comfortable I wear everything medium this is a medium my sweatshirts are mediums but if it's not like 70 degrees I'm literally wearing those things every single day not throwing Four Hands much just a quick pitch up windage cars are fine just got to get them under par I don't know if there's a difference in stability because I threw two very different shots because that was a really bad way to start all right hole two here the basket is just literally dead ahead of us but you really got to focus on get that nose down in going through all these form changes drink responsibly and focusing on that instead of accuracy is not good for these type of videos we do have wind pushing us to the right I don't really think I could throw it OB long too hard but we'll see these are hexes they're supposed to go 600 feet so oh we're gonna switch hexes every hole even though it doesn't matter which one got the birdie or not thank you it's an all right throw not a good throw not a bad throw just about pin High just very right kind of fell over my brace and now for the neutron much better that was some good snap you probably heard that oh my gosh that is Parts 350X let's go downhill obviously also about flippy one of the really cool things is they do a lot of customizable stuff whether that's like one piece or however many you need they can customize it for you they also have in-house graphic design so if you need help with that that's pretty clutch and there's like no order minimums if you need some stuff they'll hook it up oh stop putting so much hyzer it's like oh I'm gonna throw it flat with Spin and then I just threw it Kaiser a little flips of daisies because we can oh that was a good catch that was a bad but that was a bad putt gotta make this other putt I've got the birdie well his Auto might go over par now Anthony stop thinking like that just make an easy putt there we go don't want to say too much preliminarily because I'm not 100 sure on the stability difference to me it seems like the only difference is the zottle is new and the neutron hex is not that's about it but I see so far all right we got a pretty tight Gap here the basket is just to the left of that big tree a little farther down so you want to go to the right of it on some hyzer and just let it do its job and finish Neutron hex both has the box and it's its turn get under oh that's bad just like that that's perfect oh yeah oh yeah I think one thing I noticed is I'm just I'm so tense I just need to calm down and let the disc in my body do the work and things will go better like the second shot was felt so much less powerful and just like hey let me here's my line let me visualize it let me be loose and throw and it worked out a lot better that worked out ish that was maybe a little more attention than that though oh my gosh I do not want to make putts confidently today there we go all right everything's under par we're keeping it so far just no bogeys that's all I ask all right here we are hole number four it's 245-ish feet not super far but if you want to pick up anything from flippy please do link is in the anything on the website so go pick some stuff up really good stuff I'm excited for the summer season with this I'm excited to not be humid in Denver and I'm really I'm honestly so excited to play Disc Golf in my hoodies because they're the most comfortable things ever but I can never play Disc Golf in them because it's always been 80 degrees where I am that will not be the case when I get to Denver fortunately and unfortunately all right lozado's got the box just a straight shot what these discs Are Made For You know the perfect md1 as they say pretty good pretty good yeah I do think that that new one is just slightly more stable and both are parked that new one is definitely more stable I think it's probably I mean the eclipse plastic I know tends to be a little more stable but it's also just a new disc versus the beat-in disc so I imagine that's more of where it comes from shout out Don back there subscriber but if I couldn't hit those shots with these discs I mean I would have had to have quit honestly I mean a 240 foot straight shot with a hex Gotta Throw it like 30 and get there come on come on come on I do think it's hard to say whether or not I like the hex or not because honestly right now I hate my whole bag mostly because I'm an inconsistent thrower not because the discs are bad but I'm all I'm thinking about 10 things every time that I go to throw a disc instead of just being loose and throwing which is not what you want to do but it's what I want to do because I need to get better at distance and more like consistent with my tosses but it's just so bad for actually being out on the course so in a couple months when I kind of finalize hey this is my form let me work on accuracy inconsistency I'll revisit all my bag stuff I don't know if the hacks will make it but definitely a good straight flying disc I probably will need something just a touch more stable like in the reactor slot or my emac troops that I like to throw oh this is a far one all right from the white Obi water obviously and we got 334 to the PIN kind of gotta be straight I think we have a Tailwind pushing us from the right or from the left to the right not sure what the wind is after these trees but that makes me want to put a little hyzer on it and let the wind stand it up because of the misses to the left you don't want to miss into the water obviously a little more nose up than I want but that's a pretty solid rip I mean on straight eyes I think I'm pin high so that's not bad but a little less hyzer just a little lower into the wind should be good with the Lozada yeah get around the other side of that tree that's perfect oh I think I almost touched the pin but after throwing those I think that wasado is definitely more stable it's hard to transmute that onto camera unless I throw identical shots which I'm normally not trying to do I'm trying to correct but the way it's coming on my hand it definitely is like it wants to get left a little more or just fight the torque a little bit more and I hope it stays that way for a while but I imagine it's just because it's new I'm building a pretty nice glow bag from doing all these reviews all right my depth perception was a little off I was about 20 feet shorter than I thought but I mean that's essentially parked whenever you say that your chances of missing the putt go up statistically 35 it's kind of crazy how that works okay we're gonna go straddle oh it's kind of a death butt straddle no step sit that's okay that's okay I was a little too timid on that part honestly these baskets the thing I hate the most about these baskets you couldn't hear it because the mic's right here but they laugh at you every time you hit the cage all right the statistics didn't line up with that one but every time you hit the cage here listen you can hear it they just rattle forever it's very rude all right hole six it is from the whites to 64. up and left so we're gonna have to put the hyzer on these not let them finish pretty high maybe a little spiky and a lot more hyzer than you think oh yeah that has some stability that was I thought that would flip up more didn't I feel like that with this disc even a little lower would probably be pretty good foreign yeah that has a lot more flip up to it going basket Oh short also go check out flippy Link in the description I don't know I said it already I thought that had a chance for a second but it's a little short I'm really happy with that though a little less hyzer on that one because that one barely stayed over and that one's definitely more understable well the one's picking up now though no worries no worries oh it's a lot more hyzer oh I don't think I know how to listen to myself yeah okay good good good good really got to be confident about this one now this is easy this is such a good shot man I think I'm liking my hex again I just need to treat it like it's supposed to be treated Golden Rule baby aiming here when you're putting up a hill aim high because I did not hit my spot and it barely went in all right another 230ish foot shot just straight ahead lozados got the box okay super simple let's go nope two more inside it'll still be in it'll still be a pot but a little more inside and a little more hyzer I think it's high through that unfortunately oh wow I am tying that one too one last hole now the question is is those Auto special basket straight up to the left I think it's 280. yeah 280. so not the easiest so lozado is it special um in terms of the hex no in terms of a disc yes because it's Simon's first disc moving to MVP it is a good run I mean it's the same as another run seemingly it's this one and it's a really good disc overall but and it's a cool stamp but like overall it's just like another hex that you would get so if you don't want the hype don't get it if you do want to support Simon and his move and pay for the 10 million contract allegedly then go ahead and pick one up but it's a good disc oh get lucky no look at that flip up stop it I want that thing to stay on high side but it flipped up that's that stability that the neutron one does not have that finish there no chance that that didn't finish directly straight or even a little right but the new one does hello Neutron hex is in logi free whatever it is now nice I stopped keeping Trek in my head because I am hungry let's
