My FAVORITE Mystery Box EVER [18 Holes w/ The Discmania X Out Box]

this Mini's gonna make some smaller boxes man okay it might actually fit this oh and I don't think we ripped it let's go welcome back to Bonanza disc golf I'm so glad we didn't rip that because I really wanted to carry some water and my keys not in my pocket for this round because today we're going to be doing another episode of boxes and birdies with the discmania X Out mystery box that they actually sent to Apollo disc golf but they sent him two and they didn't even reach out to send me one so just me if you're watching this hook it up next time what are you guys doing but I'm really excited about these nine mystery discs we're gonna be playing at one of my favorite Park style courses in the world actually but this is Waterworks disc golf course in North Kansas City it actually looks like it's in a little bit of a different layout than what I've played before hole one is actually to the left and normally it's like sit right in the middle but if you've never seen any of my mystery box videos I actually just shot one where I lost and have to do a putter only League round which I'm gonna be filming in the next couple weeks I'm gonna go to Minneapolis and there's a ton of phenomenal leagues up there but we have to just shoot with whatever disc we pull out of the box off the team I am allowed to putt with my putting putter until we draw a putter out of the box I don't know what's in here but Apollo let me know that there was any least one putter shout out David Paul disc golf definitely go subscribe to him if you haven't yet between the front and back nine we're going to ask Siri how low under par we need to shoot from one to five and at this course underpar is like pretty solid underpar is typically like a 950 960ish rated round at least so hopefully it doesn't give us five because then we'd have to be really on point and if we lose then we have to pick out of another mystery box to see what our punishment is there've been some pretty bad ones in the past hopefully we don't lose I've lost a lot of these videos recently we gotta get back in the W column a hole one 320 down the hill here and what I love about this course is there's so much elevation and the wind can definitely rip through it in some weird ways sorry Mystery Box okay oh interesting c-line md1 all these like X Out stamps look really cool it's like super flat I thought that these are supposed to be a little domey but should be like a really good just straight mid-range you see line ones I did remember were slightly more stable than mine Benders if I reviewed them correctly gonna punch it on hyzer for sure because the wind is kind of blowing a little left to right that's high get down please hit something getting back in the midwest man I'm being a little Italian boy I got a lot of sweat I always run down these Hills and then I forget that that's if you're out slow down down them solid don't forget to match the grade of the Hill when you're throwing up or downhills nice and even so these next couple weeks are going to be pretty interesting for me right now it's the Tuesday after my last tournament I took all of yesterday off from throwing completely and over these next few weeks you might see some interesting form things with me forehand and backhand because you've been watching for a while you know my forehand's really not good so I'm really focusing on tucking this elbow a little closer because I noticed my elbow is always super out wide even when I throw highs or forehands and I think that probably adds a little bit of my elbow strain another thing is I'll be working on the elbow a lot actually starting tomorrow with my PT Josh my trainer maybe not PT I don't think technically I don't know the right words but we're going to do some Bodywork massages as well as really strengthening and focusing on nutrition and lifting to get really healthy and get explosive again because I don't feel explosive but really gonna be focusing on talking this elbow in so that I'm throwing from here instead of throwing from out wide even on anhyzer so I got to really figure that out kind of Joel Freeman does a really good job of just like throwing his body like this I remember that when I was playing with him and on the back end really going to start focusing a little more on getting this off arm down and away and just there's a bunch of backing stuff that I need to work on but I'll have some pros hopefully on the channel who can help me with that hopefully within two weeks I can make some much needed tweaks before I come back two kids City because I did get into the KC wide open so I'm gonna have my first Pro Tour event don't tell Hunter Thomas because he doesn't think that it's real but it's a pro tour silver event here in KC and then I should play two more throughout the year 383 uh Bill to the left so hopefully we get a driver but I'm just gonna stick my hand in real fast and pull something out oh no link so hopefully putter putter Putter and now we have to fight with that so he didn't even take my butter out not what you want to draw for this hole pretty strong headwind on this one EXO soft okay it's gonna feel good for the putters it's a little bit softer than my peers but link is like slightly beaded I think I prefer the logic for putting just because it's not beaded so much hyzer it's pretty stable and that was bad I promise I'm not gonna be crap today I'm gonna play well I promise promise drop in the basket that's so high very grateful there's a hill there all right we found someone to pull the next disc wanna do yourself uh my name is Nathan and I'm taking the next disc so you just pull random one out of that box out of the box yeah that was a terrible Choice anything you gotta make it work man a hyzer hopefully we'll Tailwind did it work oh my gosh I thought that was jumping in for a second oh just pin High nice Easy Bar you're not paying high chain three parts to start is not the end of the world I gotta show you this DD one though because this thing looks incredible I love these Exile stamps man I love a double stamp disc but these XLS I like the color combo that they put on it all right hole four here hopefully we'll get to show off a little bit of the new forehand We're Not Gonna oh actually good for me though logic so this is a 290 foot hole up and to the right slight Tailwind so we're gonna need to throw quite the turnover with this to get the birdie and oh get through oh that almost got so lucky I still got very lucky but almost got super lucky so I totally just looked to see if I was recording and thought that I was and somehow wasn't so we were right here I already threw my hop shot but we're gonna throw the link my shot was good so I have to throw another gun this is the one that's gonna count okay good oh no that's the only thing I was worried about so because so much stuff sticks onto this extra soft I might actually go link today oh my God yeah I think the Link's coming out cleaner even though it's slightly deeper and beaded there's like a level of softness of a putter that gets past it and I just can't deal with it all right hole five is Straight Ahead 280 and it is oh a royal Rage 2 which is a vapor Instinct very dummy Instinct this is like my favorite category issue of this 7502 I think I prefer the FD to the Instinct in terms of like this manias lineup Shadow whoever gave this to me I'm very sorry that I forgot who it was but super chalky I love a chalky chalk bag if any people make chalk bags out there they're like stupid chalky and you want to hook someone up I would not say no not quite right side enough get a lucky skin oh that was that was what that was so ugly all right that was about a billion and a half degrees too much hyzer oh thank goodness I got over that Branch all right I can make those putts all right getting into the woods here hole six this was gonna be one of my favorite holes I was gonna say but I thought it'd be straight ahead of us instead I think it's actually in the par 4 position up and to the right I've never played it in this position before and it's gonna be oh what is this first run cd1 oh you have to throw one of these nine five negative one two this is one of the categories of discs that I've been saying like I don't have this in my bag and I kind of want it oh no because we are way down here moving up there just so I can like pitch out oh it's terrible it's so bad sit down though good thing this thing is a par four a little soft but when you suck at hitting the Gap right now oh sit down that's nose up sit down hit something all right this would be a great save here for the Left Right aim a little high not left no bogey thank you t-sign for saying that this was a par four I am forever in your diet all right like I always say in these challenges I always just try to get under par to the front nine or however many discs I'm forced to throw because very rare that it actually gives me a choice and today I think it gave me zero the discs that I would have thrown hole seven 250 right up at the top of the hill uh really beautiful shot through some trees and we are gonna be throwing thank you oh very interesting cloudbreaker three very fast disc very stable from what I remember thank you whoa why what that's so wait what that was so straight I mean slight right to left but this is the dd1 yeah that started fading faster than the cloud Breakers no I had to have thrown what I threw that so soft and I thought it was perfect out of my hand and we have a putter around this tree and I give it a really soft bid Not So Soft it's gonna be much more of a bomber disc than I expected I guess that's a win I was a little scarier than it had to be two more on the front let's get at least one of them and then pray that Siri tells me I only have to shoot one under par all right hole eights in the 380 foot position down there looks like you probably want something that's straight that's the only this guy knew is in here it's only just getting one for this hole it is Deluxe mutants all right now the name of the game is just get to the bottom maybe I can roll it there on a forehand roller honestly might be a similar Miss to everything else so I think we're gonna go for hand roller this is gonna be either really cool or really dumb the likelihood of the really dumb is like 98 though on the likelihood of the really dumb is 98 don't do the 98 thing I'm gonna try this clawbreaker though because what the heck was up with that thing that is the straightest clawbreaker ever you guys are starting to think I'm huge when I'm throwing Cloud breaker threes like that there's the dd1 play yeah that is so much more stable than the car breaker 3. that dd1 is so much more stable it's not even funny you know what I just thought about too that like adds to the dumbliness of my little Dumbo Play this disc the mutant doesn't have any rounded edges so even though I put it down on an angle that like I feel like a disc would have rolled up it's it's flat everywhere oh that's the score I was gonna get either way at least we parked over the three my Woods depth perception strikes again I thought this was on the pole and it is very much not on the pool there we go well we are too over now we really need Syria to give us one under all right we got one more disciple but I just realized one thing that this could be is not call back it through at all but instead what probably makes more sense is this is just an S9 dd3 that they double stamp with the cloud breaker 3 stamp because I heard these new s93s are pretty Flippy and this one is very flippy yeah this cannot possibly be clappica three all right last disc that we have in here it's gonna be a oh what is this an Essence maybe it is in essence I love it let's go oh no okay it's very straight actually also is lazily low I found out one of the things I'm worse that is powering down on this like after like 70 I like no chance I just suck foreign oh shorty whole time let's ask hey Siri pick a number between one and five oh no four uh so we need to go five down come back nine not a lot of room for air but should be doable gotta start strong though I'm gonna start on this hole it's 380 that's 305 is it really yeah that place so far because how up until it is how I feel it is I think we're gonna go Cloud breaker so let's get sorry dd3 I'm not calling this thing collaborate anymore I'm just this turnover line okay sit down that should do let's go this is a good one alrighty hole 11. straight up the hill it's like 90 degrees it's been like 90 degrees until the sun goes down every day here I thought it'd be cooler in Minneapolis where I'm heading I'll be there at some point tomorrow oh my gosh it's still the exact same high and low I think I'm gonna go Essence up the hill didn't seem either crazy flippy or crazy stable oh no had with headwind we're gonna try the cd-1 maybe a city one needs to go in my bag definitely want to keep up the theme of putting with my drivers also just in case you're wondering the CD one I'm pretty sure is based off of old cd2 and it's similar to like the infinite Dynasty I'm gonna have to do a comparison video with those guys because one of them might need to make my bags I don't think so yet but I think there's a different level of comfortability thrown in nine speed versus a seven speed at some of those higher seven speed distances for me that might Bridge a gap between my seven speeds and my distance drivers that isn't the honor which is pretty stable like a Thunderbird all right gonna refill some water take all these discs out of this box yeah if you can tell there's definitely a difference in choosing your own discs to throw this is one of the better mystery boxes I don't know why I recently been really liking this Mania stuff also one of the silly Parts about a place called Waterworks is I don't think there's really any place to fill up water just kidding there's a water fountain stuff oh I want to use my own water then maybe I should look before I say something stupid did Ricky ever have blue hair what's up with that also I'm gonna be there so excited four more birdies to go everything should be getable and I feel like I have a very good variety of discs I feel like honestly for a mystery box at least this one is super well-rounded all 12 here it's a forehand and a backhand route to get there the backhand has to be low and under these trees there kind of is a big wide hyzer if you really want to be a little lucky with the skip off the cart path 306 I think it's just a forehand either cd1 or dd1 I think it's not super far but I think I still might go dd1 just to trust the stability because the CD one I don't quite know the torque resistance on it foreign all right just outside Circle do you have a slight tail right to the left we should push this down the hill a bit all the champions yeah let's go Redemption baby real hard oh that's a big roll I ran that pup because I felt like I had some good momentum but it just got a really big roll away but we haven't missed a circle one pot yet should be relatively simple clean up from 30 feet yeah all right we could only miss two more holes on this back and still get our four down this one is tough I've never seen this position before it's 290 feet straight ahead you probably can't see it it's like right in line with that branch that sticks out maybe like an instinct because it seems pretty stable just on a touch of anhyzer it is a left right win which is why I don't want to throw the energy one could also do the CD one but just a touch of Annie through that Gap stable out hopefully give ourselves a look get out of it yes great shot really great shot foreign this one looks like fun kind of headwind left to right 400 footer right down this hill to that basket I think we're gonna go dd1 because it's the most stable disc that I have that has some speed to it oh that's kind of stable oh it's maybe fine that was wait so weak oh that was weird that felt that's not good that kind of felt weird in my groin which is not where you want to feel things as I was coming through I felt some paints and I slowed up a bit hope that was just that one weird shot try the CD One yeah I didn't transfer my weight very well I mean that's so much better okay I might I might need a disc try the logic straight at it come out of it be the closest please oh that thing is pin high I might be close I might dd1 so the link is inside the circle here or the logic a little bit rude of it oh wow my ditty one is like really short I'm probably actually gonna be out of frame I'm just gonna put it anyways because I have some people behind me but got it let's go I really hope I'm afraid now dang it alrighty oh 15. Straight Ahead there that was a great two on 14. it's about 250 ish have one right to left we might just take the dd1 since it's stable and I the CD one might work but I still don't necessarily trust the forehands since we're going stable just go hyzer through this Gap because it's into a hill maybe it should be a mutant I don't know if mutant has a distance it's only 250 man I can throw mutant that far so much headwind I don't think I could throw anything this far in the headwind honestly maybe just Instinct because this is pretty stable yes dude sit should have a putt try out the mute the right play it was short um yep all right hole 16 kind of seems to be a little bit of a make or break hole it's 350 feet to the basket blowing a little bit tail left to right so we need some stability this is one where we can't bogey but we obviously want to try to burn we only need one more out of these last three luckily because we've been shredding we can go low right I kind of want to go up the middle though maybe with the CD one because it's relatively slow don't know how far the OB is beyond the basket maybe you should go dd1 I just don't want to push too far it's only like 360 feet so also I did lose my chalk bag on my whole five I literally was like oh this is cool and then I left it right after I talked to you guys about it so now I definitely need to hook up on a jog pack oh wait that's what the ground is for ding dong that was such an easy solution that I've watched so many pro players do that I've never done until right now foreign stay in Balance if it stayed up I'm really happy wow that's like almost exactly what I wanted to do okay nine ten oh I'm just outside the circle baby recount just for sure close flip it is if it's close can't do it and I don't have my rangefinder let's go alrighty baby two holes left we are four down but let's try to get six you know why not uh this basket you could probably barely see peeking out over there um it's a little dangerous because it is an OB Road almost up until the basket I think it's OB inside the circle so we could try to go directly at it it's 360. oh don't do that either sit down please stay in bounds what it just happened oh no no no no no this has gotta be a joke oh that's not it oh no so I first thought that this was it and I was like oh it's half over half off and it wasn't it and I was like oh no it's every just just just about not a great up shot but that's a put nice we're four down baby let's get to five after being two over on the front that'd be a really great back very happy I don't have to birdie this hole because this is the dumbest ball in the course in my opinion it is like 300ish feet but it's up and up the hill and to the left and you can't even see it that's how left it is and there's really not a great line because if the t-pad is facing directly this way and so you have to kind of run up from this weird thing there's another pit over there let's see if I didn't even facing like this people need to be facing this way because you can't really get a run up to get the shot shape that it requires unless you're throwing a force over forehand really high so it might be able to do with the dd3 but I'm trying not to throw four hands that are out at my side and I have absolutely no idea how to throw that forehand right now keeping that close to my body so we're just gonna throw the backhand I think with the essence or just yeah keep flipping oh what whoa what wait what I thought that thing was so much slippier than that I think I threw that like I would have thrown one of my heat which slips pretty fast and this is like a really not easy shot all the way up the hill there need it to land nose up because you do not want to leave yourself a pot like I really needed to make sure that I was in the open I might throw the md1 here I think through this gap on some hyzer get up close to the basket also just got a splinter oh maybe it was honestly you know what I bet it was I bet there's a reason why I shouldn't be with my hands around I think it's probably glass so I'm seeing flakes that's so good oh yeah all right one last pot all right one last putt what an absolute joke now I have to see if I can find those Minis that I was using for all my mystery box losses because I gotta pick one out I can't believe I missed that butt bring them I don't know if I left them in Denver or not yeah they're not here not here only I remember or baby face meaning I have to shave my face I don't think anyone wants to see that one was staying until I Ace one was staying until I make 10 40 Footers in a row and those are the only three that I remember I'm gonna open up another Community post asking for suggestions for what happens if I lose a mystery box and I'll combine a bunch of those together and we'll make a wheel that we can spin every time that I lose which is never gonna happen again and honestly because of the way that we lost that we're gonna go 10 40 Footers in a row mostly because there's also no really aceable holes on this course so that'd be a really hard one to do but I definitely need some 40-foot practice the Only Rule is for every 10 minutes it goes down by one putt that I have to make in a row so if I'm out here for 10 minutes then I only need to make nine in a row 20 minutes eight in a row three minutes seven in a row it's like still hard for like at least an hour this Mania hook me up with some mystery boxes and some goodies if you want to over time some CD ones will be sick love that disc might play around with seeing if it has a place in my bag maybe versus the dynasty not 100 sure though maybe just try to like be an honor to crap and see how that flies I just like made this day so much longer because I have to go and edit this video after this this looks far one drop two drop three hello grab a billion more putters have a lot there's a couple different Plastics and stages of wear so got a couple piers oh gosh no ah will I ever get past three drop too much easier stay up Two Step Up five come on come on let's go let's grab five real fast seven yes come on let's go oh that was way shorter than I expected 13 minutes and six seconds that's not bad so I could have gone to nine I guess too but wow so stoked yeah try to do that see if you can be my time it's definitely there but I just started
