The BEST Disc Drop OF THE YEAR [So Far]??? | 18 Holes

welcome back to Bonanza disc golf and I am not an MVP Fanboy per se but to be completely honest with you the discs that we're going to be reviewing today I'm like really excited to throw because they are probably so far this year the coolest drop and I think that includes leadstone because I think there are a couple cool discs there but not a lot of crazy good ones obviously this is all opinion but today we're going to be taking a look at the nine OTB open MVP discs that just dropped I'm gonna go over them in order of speed but we're gonna be playing 18 holes here at Belmont disc golf course it's Eagle McMahon's one of his home courses so maybe he'll come out and throw with me today like 99 sure that's not gonna be the case but a Boy Can Dream you know but we're gonna do a use it and lose it for the front nine and then choose whatever we want for the back nine so once we throw it off the tee we can't throw it off the T again until the back nine that way we see how all of them fly but as we throw each of them off the tee I'll cut back to here and we'll talk about how they each feel look and kind of what exactly they are none of these are super ideal for putting Putters I'd guess I think just based on feel I'm gonna go with that Eclipse soft proxy because it is a little less stable as well probably not gonna fight with the glitch because there's a little bit of wind here pretty consistently but one cool thing is I got all these discs From Another Round Disc Golf in Denver they're not sponsor but they hooked me up with a lot of discs this is a lot of discs though and I don't need to keep any of these so since I was able to get access to these just to shoot this video today after this video goes live they will be returned to another round and there will be three mystery of the most excited I've been to film one of these reviews in a while because this drop is sick like all these plastic combos are so cool MVP if you're watching this video somehow let me run some cool Plastics you know the front seven are pretty short so basically be doing all the putters and mids up to that point and then hole eight I think is like 360 whole Nine's over 400 so we'll definitely save the trans and panic for those but I think for this first one it's got to be the glitch slight headwind just leave it out there on some turn let it Glide right down into the basket the first one we have here is the R2 Neutron glitch with a glow Rim so this is pretty sweet I've honestly been loving the glitches 145 grams so it'll probably be a little flippier most of these stamps are like cool-ish but I really care more about the plastic typings and like what they look like because they are really sweet this is pretty much just a glitch though but it does have that glow Rim which is going to be super super cool not today because it's hot out but whatever do it oh my gosh thank you I thought I had it man I've been throwing my glitch a little bit recently I'm kind of kind of getting a little dirty with the glitch to be honest with you Broderick go check out his YouTube channel as well that dude makes some sick content I think he's pushing disc golf content forward he does cost a lot though so if you're not into that don't watch it but I mean that's disc golf you know causing this disc golf I really thought I made that that was dirty with the glitch dude what a start I had to be so close oh man if I Ace one of these I'm keeping it though I'll buy one of the other ones and put it in the mystery boxes but if I ate those one I'm a for sure could be crippling all right let's keep that start rolling a little bit we have a headwind on this hole I think it's kind of swirly it's a little bit right to left up through there there's a that high Gap that turns there you can throw a forehand you can throw big over the top is honestly probably the play right now since there's not a lot of foliage so I think I think we're gonna go resistor for that I was gonna go Paradox but there's this pretty sick resistor which actually is a little over not resistant reactor one of the more like basic Plastics is this they just call it a proton reactor but they still have like those little metal flake things in it so it still looks pretty sick honestly and this stamp actually looks really cool that was upside down yeah this stamp is pretty sick as well so hopefully it's a little kind of Dome honestly the hexes had a little bit of Dome as well so pretty interesting very stiff this one's pretty stiff which I'm pretty stoked on because these are way dormier than my run that I did with my stamps and uh I feel like I'll like that a little bit more not that left though that's actually a putt that's actually really not bad foreign money all right I think next up for this hole it could be proxy or Envy but I think we're gonna go Envy here these and these are pretty cool because they are prison proton soft Envy so a little bit gummy but kind of prison proton in the middle so they have like those metal flakes they feel really cool they look really sick as well I hope that they fly good they're a little stiffer actually than I would think for a soft plastic but definitely not like super stiff like they're still pretty gummy a little short no just left very left oof proxy again very photogenic but very far putt glitchy boy oh dang we might need to come to a challenge where we Ace the Knoll I think that this area these seven holes are called the null and they're all pretty short we might need to make a video where we just come Ace all of them in a day hole number four here 156 feet up the hill I think we're gonna go with the Paradox this is the eclipse Paradox definitely super super flippy I mean everyone who knows the Paradox knows this is stupid flippy honestly probably gonna be a good disc up here for some highs or flip lines but glow plastic pretty sick seems a little glottie but I'm guessing it's gonna flip up so if I throw it at hyzer at it it should flip up at it since it's going up the hill oh it's so Flippy here we'll play this is provisional from the Drop Zone it's far either way lazy putt because there's me at Park all right next up we are going to go with the soft proxy there it's Eclipse off I'm guessing it's going to be very straight this is the Eclipse 2.0 soft proxy so it's a little bit extra gummy actually I'm hoping it's slightly more stable than a paradox but still pretty flippy because that'll be very useful here on this course I'm hoping it doesn't really encroach on Envy territory because of the plastic but we'll definitely see not very understable just based on the feel I don't I don't know why I feel that way I kind of also like that they're starting to go stamp their uh weights on here so 172 grams instead of having the sticker I feel like that's probably better I don't know oh it's pretty straight but luckily it does have a little fade I left I keep putting it where my body says to go my body does not say to go to good spaces there are actually two hexes in this drop I kind of like this both of the stamps actually are some of the cooler stamps this one is a neutron soft so it's a little gummy and then this one is the prism plasma hex so prism Rim I'm guessing because it's got like these little metal flake things in it and then plasma top I'm hoping that this one's a little more stable it feels like it'll be a little more stable than the soft one but both of these should fly really really good that's the baby turnover it's only almost just about 200 feet it's a little lazy all right we're going Envy all right oh no still no get lucky kind of lucky good thing I chose the proxy all right that's not bad a couple missteps I think we're like five down through this front seven next one will be interesting because it's flippy there's always a little head or crosswind so seven speed on 360 foot hole normally all right but in some wind gonna have to really get the nose angle right I think the trance is a new mold too not sure though I think this is a new mold it's the prism proton trans so they got like the metal flake little Rim here on the over mold and proton in the middle it's a little stiff but it feels like a little bit faster Paradox it feels like it's going to be pretty flippy I'm not actually sure what the numbers are and I don't like looking up numbers before I throw one thing I have noticed is a lot of this stamp feels a little embossed like this extra color one so personally I'm gonna find a spot where it's just the plastic to throw because when I put my thumb like here or something like it feels like it's a little like it feels like it might slip a little bit more so you might not like that all right this is the ice that I wish I had on this hole 360. slight slight wind so a little hyzer the wind should push it back towards the basket so oh man MVP is always slightly more stable than it says it's up there though one thing that I think you guys have told me and then I've had to realize the hard ways MVP's drivers always tend to be more stable than their flight numbers suggest at least like when you compare their flight numbers to other companies I think that was a negative two one not a hundred percent sure so definitely should have treated it a little finer but trusted the wind to play with it more something about these discs they don't the MVP stuff especially like that one which has a slight Dome really doesn't get 10 to get taken by the wind I don't know or pin high so I'm not mad about I really could never be mad about bird eating a hole over 350 feet with my first time throwing a disc you know all right last hole everything has been used and used except for the Panic the last one is the prism Neutron Panic it's got that little metal flake around the edges as well Neutron in the middle pretty cool stamp this one's actually light so it's probably gonna bomb and I heard Joseph From Another Round Disc Golf not in Denver just the one that's in Charlotte he said these are the straightest panics ever so hopefully they caught a bomb for us honestly looks very neutral not a lot of dome but a tiny bit of coming up to where there would be Dome it feels pretty big I'm guessing maybe maybe this is a 13 speed I don't think MVP has 13 speeds no they don't have 12 speeds they have 13 and 14 and a half super sick stamp this disc is super cool try to bomb it it's 440-ish feet I think 420 to 440. I think the turnover is the shot I just have to give it height because I've not been giving height to my turnovers or hyzer flips foreign did not give it the width oh my gosh that's a bomb that's like that's pin High that's super right what the heck give me a freaking better backdrop for a puck come on outside the circle okay not quite pin High I lied I'm like literally five feet away from being Penn High but also threw that knot straight down the Fairway at all it's total distance cover is probably pretty good let's go the 360 and the 420 foot birdie with new discs now we're gonna get to start choosing our discs a little bit more I think we're gonna throw three on this one just because we can the reactor is gonna be our actual play and then we're gonna test both these hexes and see how stable they are against one another but is it reactor finally got it right okay good all right we're gonna make sure we give it the height because it's a mid-range throw it straight and it's going to fade towards the basket okay bracing sucks but that's gonna be good oh my God oh my God we're not throwing axes on this hole and it's uh getting a different reactor because I'm keeping that one holy crap that felt perfect out of my hand but you know you never want to call it these this are freaking money dude I haven't had mace in a minute I realize I'm gonna miss on the channel in a long minute it actually counts oh my gosh I really hope I didn't get in the way oh let's go what the hell are you from here all right another 305 footer this one is perfect for the hexes I gotta sign this I like those shots because those are ones where since it's coming in a hyzer you're like I can give it a little bit of a run because if it misses it's staying close because it's coming in on that soft Tizer in the mid let's go ah let's freaking go oh my gosh all right all right this whole phone number 11 305 feet we're gonna throw the Paradox and these hexes because honestly the Paradox in this plastic I was like oh it's a little stiff it might be more stable it's still a paradox so we'll go ahead and rip the hexes and the Paradox I think the one I'm gonna throw is gonna be the neutron soft it's kind of nice this prism plasma feels sick too just straight over this fence I feel like it's really good on slight hyzer because the wind's pushing right to left all right okay not a lot of flip up didn't really juice it too much kind of a weak shot but not bad go ahead and throw the prism plasma that's better don't do it oh my gosh that was sick oh man that's still a paradox oh my gosh that's awesome hello I knew the Tailwind was there and I didn't account enough for it good oh all right I would say this prison plasma hex and the neutron feel like they have honestly really pretty similar stabilities I was asking one of the guys in another round had thrown him as well and he was saying the same thing which is kind of surprising but uh the neutron soft you'd think would be slightly I don't know maybe Neutron's more stable than prism plasma but the soft makes it less they seem pretty similar off of all the throws that I've had and what I've heard from people I would prefer the prison plasma because it's much stiffer and honestly these hexes have a tiny tiny bit of a dome prism plasma much more than Neutron soft I'm a big fan of Dome on discs uh just for stability wise this one just under 200 feet I think we're gonna go glitch at it man so straight don't put hyzer on it and think it's gonna flip up all right hole 13 here looks like it's in the Ace it's only like 165. no maybe it's B210 210. I think we're just gonna go hyzer with the proxy oh my gosh not that much Tailwind oh gosh oh gosh another another 45 45 to 45. oh dude all right all over the band on hole 13 I guess another shorty it's a short little quartz 160 feet here all right let's get an Ace and erase that bogey you know turn them both into birdies drop oh right over top not mad about that headwind uphill heck yeah headwind uphill almost a camera yeah I wanted to keep that up we're gonna go boogie boogie on really short holes couldn't have that happen we're gonna get a little sneaky we're gonna go paradox big left to right actually that's the worst idea in the world a little Envy actually too much eyes are at it but that's still a great shot all right couple hexes look it's been nailed me drop oh that'll play oh my gosh this is why I've been inline pudding today so since we already have a pretty respectable score as well as an ace I'd say you want to be closer to 14 or 15 here but new discs not worried I think we're gonna go panic and trance for the last two this one is just a big up into the left I mean not big 215 feet and the last one's also 215 feet but we're gonna skip the Panic at it and then let's get the trance at it I'm afraid I'm gonna hit these people that's the problem I feel like all the tendency to juice it so we'll just wait on them real fast that plane is pulling a plane it's total plane what the heck get the skip oh it's deep it's very deep no I knew that was a lot of my hand I never got my chest up my chest was hunched over the whole entire time so if you're missing everything well check your chest all right trance Ace glitch Ace right after it back to back what a baby what a stupid little Park job stay up oh dude nice little way to finish it off honestly these discs are some of the most fun of the year just plastic wise this Envy might have made my bag I feel like mine flies pretty similar to it honestly my Eclipse ones and I have some new ones coming in that are more similar to this that'll be there soon so uh Bama look out for those the still the shattered van stamp next stamp will be coming out soon this is just a restock because everybody loved the MVP drop and that'll be the end of the Shadow Advanced stamp and probably van stamps for a while if you want teacher hands on these plus a reactor that wasn't thrown because I'm definitely keeping that reactor three mystery boxes will be at another round for the first three people in Denver shout out to them for letting me get these discs and play around with them having to be a pretty good one got a lot more stuff coming your way so please subscribe to the channel if you're interested in more content that's like this or just training stuff if you're interested in my last training video is actually a coaching session with Josh from Over the disc golf check that out right down here help me out a lot a lot of things that I'm working on a lot of things I'm thinking about every time that I'm throwing the disc but the more field work and the more time I put into it the more it's going to become natural it's just a process that takes time these drop today so I mean I'm not selling them or anything I just want to play around with them because I figured they'd be in the meta so like the video if you want check that out I'll see you guys in the next one okay love you bye bracing sucks but that's gonna be good oh my God
