These Discs are WILD... Literally! [New Kid in the Bag] // 18 Holes with Wild Discs

welcome back to Bonanza disc golf into another episode of new kid in the bag where today we're going to be taking a look at Wild discs now I have to give a big shout out because we're about to get on hole one we're gonna be playing with just wild discs for 18 holes actually all in one video and trying to beat par because I just played this course with my own bag you might have already seen that in another video and I shot even which is top eight and you disc in the past 30 days this is not an easy course I would say that so far this is one of the best courses that I've played in all of Florida and we're going to be playing long to Longs River City Nature Park Alpha into Berry now as you guys know normally I don't like put links or codes for anything unless it's a sponsored video but in this case Mica Milam I'm gonna give a big shout out he actually hooked me up with all these discs he's just on their team and so I just asked him what his code is with wild disks and if you want to buy putting with the sea otter so I'm gonna get a little practice in make sure it feels good and then we'll get on to Hole one and try to shoot at least one down if we can't shoot one down you guys already know what happens we got to start a new giveaway in and we'll just say if I can't beat par which is not getting my goal we'll just put two in no matter what no matter what it's either none or two the first one that we're going to be taking a look at is going to be the hyena which is 9 5 negative 2 2. so a little flippy not super flippy but it should be very workable honestly the rim feels a little bit uh thinner or not as wide as the nine speed so maybe closer to an eight which fits very comfortably I think we'll see because we're going 350 feet down to the Yellow Basket I'm not throwing four hands at all or at least not off the T at least not outside like 100 feet I'm really trying not to I think I can throw some but I'm trying to do better about not doing it I think this should turn so we leave it out flat and try to just Glide it over that Red Basket should be a pretty good shot don't stable don't stable don't stable don't stable solid shot it flies I think similar to my Essence at least that's how it flew there because it does have a little bite at the end and I think because it's maybe a little more stable in the essence at least the numbers would say but maybe a little bit faster it'll fly pretty similar it's just not as smooth of a shape you definitely feel the bevel coming up all right we're kind of framed up a little bit back here oh cool something Conservation which is super cool let's go a little toilet bowl shot we are already more under par than I ever was during the last round all right hole two is like a 540 foot Par Four straight out this Gap up the hill you kind of want to be straighter more than left honestly I think I'm kind of going to throw the hyena again but the next disc that we're going to introduce is actually just going to be what we're putting with the sea otter it's two four zero two is what they say the numbers are on here or two three zero two I'm really excited to throw it some more because it seems it's a little bit like it's not sharp on this Edge but it's not like rounded down where it just kind of goes straight into the disc once it catches that lip which honestly for forehand means it feels pretty good on the backhand I don't know it seems a little sharp on the back end maybe it's because it's a little deeper but for putting it honestly feels pretty good that that like sharpness feels like it kind of whips off your finger pretty decent yeah let's go hyena oh no too much hyzer all right we're gonna be in some crap we'll probably have to forehand something out Jack's bad shot okay oh I don't even really have anything but a pitch out I think the safest place like a tomahawk kind of neat to try though foreign that's okay it's either gonna be a putt or not a putt those are the options oh a fire is fine but two for two would have been sick all right hole three it is 350ish feet down up back to the right and then back down there's OB along the left side which is marked I think the next disc to show you is actually the Tasmanian devil this is in their glow plastic kind of firebird-esque it kind of feels like my Firebirds very flat flatter than my Firebird that was in my last run looks sick all these stamps are pretty cool feels good I don't know who they're manufactured by kind of has like the same bubbling that mvp manufacturing has I don't know if that's the case but it feels feels good but again I think we're gonna go hyena here it's just the right disc for a lot of these shots because the Miss is for sure to the right that's fine that's a good miss stay okay should I run it the wind came out for this round it is much windier than my first round oh that's not far off and it's the world foreign hole four it's only 2 45 but it's up and to the left and a pretty tight window to hit I think this is fine to throw at it straight because this is the addicts reborn gonna be honest I don't quite know what that means but it's like they're stable mid-range this is in this kind of has some flakes in it too but it's in like champion-esque plastic feels good it's a little stiff honestly but I like a stiff disc disc enunciate that word that should be really good that's pretty much how I wanted it to do a little more nose up than I'd like because I cannot seem to throw those down but that's fine that's why you don't want to throw a nose up because I thought it was pretty good but I think it skipped and like maybe hit something because it skipped between these trees and landed behind that tree got it no I thought I made that part a little more finish than I would have expected all right basket Straight Ahead 271 tight little Gap so super interesting little disc here 4303 it's interesting because it's a little more domey not a lot of dome but a little Dome not flat and now you can definitely see that as it flexes here but it also has a pretty pronounced bead so it feels kind of like if you were to take an overstable mid-range like a prophecy from your gateway or anything that's like beaded but you take one of those and then you just kind of shrink it into a four speed it turns into this disc I think we're gonna go addicts definitely has to finish so we've got to put some Annie on it keep the nose down down the hill just hit that first big gap there get under it don't go in the creek that might be in the creek this would be like the most satisfying hole ever to park what the heck where'd you go buddy oh yeah let's go no it's a par and I'm happy with the par there that's not the easiest hole next up we're going just straight up the hill there to the yellow basket from right back here which is 370s feet I think we're gonna go distance driver we could do hyena I think that'd be really good but the next disc is the great white 13 5 negative one three it looks and feels like I don't know if it feels and looks stable or understable maybe more neutral but it's very fast and whenever you have a disc I've noticed this with a lot of smaller companies they have like very sharp in like rims which are very beveled it makes it with a weird stability it's a little domey so it should Glide a bit but I think we've got to put some Annie on it it is very fast though 13 speed is very fast in my little baby hands yeah it's stable good I'm glad I trusted that it was stable didn't trust to get the nose down though got it out there oh all right we got a Mando to the left of that tree right there the big question is hyena or great white I think we could honestly do a roller with the hyena down there get around and get down yes it did get down I've never get those wide enough don't curl into that crap just say it's just uh okay I might not have a run-up but I think that's probably about as far as I could have gotten that's for sure gonna make this interesting because his back is longer for these back whatever 12 holes are longer than the front six especially when you think about that Par Four was really only 250 250. man if I just learn how to put rollers down at the angle that I want them to at the spot that I want them to we'd be really happy but I think we might still have 400 plus out which might make this not a no-go because there's OB up to about 50 feet in front of the basket all right this will be interesting I think we're out of my range 420 420 to the pin okay so that means about 370 to clear so I think hyena might be able to get there I think to the great white we can get it over a little better since there's nothing straight in front of us so we can actually focus on uh throwing a little lower best bet is to probably try to throw it at it with a little hyzer and if it flips it flips into the woods it gets a decent amount of distance and we still have a forehand pitch up bracewell oh too much turn let's get out of it well we did what I wanted and stayed safe look at that keep your head down dude keep your head down you're inside the circle almost pretty much okay so this didn't quite go to plan because I think I almost had the distance to get there but I am going to be very obstructed great white hit within about 30 feet though so that was a pretty solid shot we're straight in the middle of this Fairway basket straight over there little pen pin stay balanced no okay that's okay there we go we can pump baby all right so this one is all the way down there you can see the Red Basket it's about 120 feet to the right of that if we go into the right of the Red Basket we're pretty happy the only problem is there's a big cluster of trees that obstructs your view and I think the ideal plate is just a chip like an angler straight there and then throw over the OB uh really easy that's fine might be a little too long for the sea otter though all right we're right there basket is straight through here I'm just gonna range it real fast it looks like maybe it actually might be around 300. yeah 280. the Tasmanian devil at it with the forehand that's like the ideal ideal play I do definitely think hey push a little bit more forward definitely more of a forehand than a turnover I'm not trying to throw those but one should be fine really short oh my gosh that's so short probably just outside nothing crazy oh you're kidding me all right par is still fine just got a couple of spit outs on this basket I think I just need to put a little lower that does not like those High ones all right this one is 260 feet up and very left similar to my Firebirds should get more skip though actually should get less oh oh well those went significantly farther both of these than I wanted oh my gosh that should be a drop in no question I say no question but sometimes these guys are okay I should be able to mark it and actually drop it but I'm so tiny that okay good on the ten front nine down no bogeys one down I think I had a double and another single last time so no more holes we should be able to get some birdies please jeez all right this hole is interesting because our basket is straight down this Fairway into the right I threw a perfect shot to the Red Basket the first round with the backhand I honestly think I'm gonna go hyena instead of because it's a little Flippy oh that's a great kiss that was unexpectedly awesome all right hole 11's one that's really helpful to have played before because you see the Red Basket all the way down there ours is about 50 or 60 feet left of that but you want to skip in front of that basket or way behind it so I think we're gonna go Tasmanian Devil here a little Annie let it come out and skip get there I didn't turn it at all I booked you this one last time too oh I can actually I think I can stretch out angler or sea otter or Alex reborn honestly well I think that's perfect Scramble game is all right right now all right we got a 566 foot Par Four oh my God guys oh that's what happens when you lift up your head I'm honestly just so stoked that I got all the way through that because this should be an up and down for a par ody's kind of off the table I will probably throw a roller and just try to sneak back there but so here's my dilemma this shot was so bad that I noticed there's a back door out I think I could flip the hyena up through that or just throw the Tasmanian devil yes yes maybe that could be phenomenal or it could be bad a little more nose up and a little less like penetrating straight so it flared a little more but that might be a birdie putt no to right and low this feels like a good par save even though it could have been a birdie save all right so the first round that I played here with my bag I chained or I uh caged it out for the eights not for A's for the eagle I think a really good roller can get there all right oh I hit something dang I like that line I liked it I liked it I liked it all right just straight ahead of us there that straight ahead line looks very intriguing there's just a very obvious chip forehand and this is not far it's like 200 something feet probably maybe a little shorter Straight Ahead we could throw the sea otter right if we got or big flexing line with the angler or the Tasmanian devil probably Tasmanian Devil is a little bit safer wow whoa that's so close though don't like to take bogeys and that's a plus this shot has hyena written all over it I threw it with my Essence and yeah it turned out on this one too I thought that was perfect pun too did it again might be a little shorter but that's a really good shot again I can only play myself all right our Yellow Basket is straight through there got a couple options on this hole we can go straight up this Gap let it turn Flex out pretty typical hyena shot honestly but after I did that and messed up my line a little I went ahead and threw my enigma and put it to like 15 feet it's taking a hyzer because it's like 350 basically just got to throw a solid hyzer get through like get lucky enough to get through some stuff like there's an aim point that I hit last time but yeah I missed my spot big time perfect just save par that's the motto oh it's not an easy motto right now not nearly flat enough out of my hand way too much angle whoa back to even par first bow get around really unfortunate all right still even par just need one birdie three holes to get one birdie 290 feet straight ahead of us could be the sea otter or the addicts reborn not confident with any releases a little lately could also just like juice a hyena at it if I wanted to go crazy I think a little anhyzer touch Annie with the attics reborn would be perfect there we go oh stable out of it well I thought that was stable more okay all right Come on Anthony oh I can't make a pot straight ahead of us hole 17 not much to say to be honest sea otter oh what the heck well that's pretty unfortunate what the heck maybe give it a little soft run oh my gosh kick off and in thank gosh honestly I kind of forgot we had the angler if I'm being 100 honest with you oh my gosh is this so decent too like not like an ace 18.
