Good Old Dan at Hollow we're finally bringing it back you guys thought I retired the Tour series trial series cuz I I beat Cole with his disc and I was quitting while I was ahead not true I just didn't do it but we're back with Joel's tour Series this year he's the first T Series trial what do we got this year this is the glow hold on Proto glow Halo Champion Joel Freeman Tour series least a couple other words in there dude this is too short of a name I know I missed a couple but no these these things are so crazy good first and foremost for anybody who doesn't know Savant is like a a a Sidewinder and a Thunderbird had a baby it's I the way I like to describe it is you throw a mid-range but it goes twice as far having said that there have been a handful of savants that like handful of runs in the past that have just come out way too overstable like they're just like another Thunderbird basically and so with this run I told them do whatever you can to make it strong I don't just want another another Thunderbird give me a freaking s that does what a Sant is supposed to do and shout out to Inova they did it they accomplished it I was just telling Anthony that I just sold my last one so I don't have any left having said that I'm sure Inova does that that their Pro Shop website I brought a couple this to compare but we'll look at that down the line mostly on the profile it's interesting that you say that this is like a a Sidewinder Thunderbird because the think is like a valkyrie Road Runner so you take one step down in stability for both of those comparisons like Thunderbird to Valkyrie sidew water to Road Runner so I'm excited to throw this cuz sometimes the S is like for a lot of holes it's just like fun but a little less consistent because it's really glidey so I'm excited to rip this thing out here today if I win I get to keep it even though it's from his personal collection he said I could and if I lose I buy it from him even though it's from his personal collection and then give it away to one of you guys over on Instagram hopefully that doesn't happen but should be good we're Adam's Hollow straight up 18 holes no fu fun rules the only thing I can think of that we could do as a funky rule is we both roll a dice and that gets us how many hisers we can throw today just like staller Spike Heiser otherwise we have to throw like flat flip up something like that I love that I started implementing that in some videos and it makes it so much more fun click roll again whenever you're ready all right so what is this number this is the number of ofers you can throw like you can throw Hiser flips you can throw anything else the higher number will give me a better Advantage we'll give you more yeah yeah 100% all right otherwise you have like take it if it gives me one I'm going to cry a little bit four that's not that bad not bad at all I'll take that yeah I think pushy is fine I would say like if you were going like higher or staly because that's showing the flight like a higher or a stall shot like you could throw that with almost anything with enough high enough speed yeah that's a good way to say it something that's not going to show that display like the features of the disc 100% cool these feel these feel really good just off rip agreed 320 interesting I feel like it plays longer than that right see how that's kind of a tweener get it oh my go I think I'm in for once a day holy cow yeah yeah a little bit but yeah but like you can't throw that shot with every disc you know what I mean that stays on that line cool I should have gone first that made me nervous it's got good push and a long putt let's go yep with this run first 15 20 times you throw it it'll have some Hiser finish for sure yeah once you kind of work it in man it's going to oh it's going to do just magically nice things but I was not close to making that shot it looked very close and now that I've seen where it landed It Roll backwards you're good you're good it so close wo uh-oh little bit of crosswind you know other really nice thing about this disc they make a great putter boom look at that can you believe that I'll believe it from 8 fet marvelous putt Savant a throw Joel there you go you're a recent Dad I'm about to be a dad we can say we can talk like that now yeah I think Joel matched his bag to his clothes the bottom of his bag is his shorts and the top of his bag is his his shirt have some dedication what the heck did you intentionally Match Your Shirt and shorts to your bag bro cuz it's perfect no I wish I could say I did whole TW is 314 right down there real quick before we throw though show you guys a couple quick comparisons cuz we have this Sant here I brought out just some disc we're not going to throw them just like to look at the profiles of them but here's the Savant we also have a valkyrie which probably a little flipper than a savant the for AMS a valkyrie would be what for a pros of santes or something different no I think that's a good way of saying it and then we have a cd1 which these new Seine ones feel and likely these like ones might fly closest to the Sant these new sealine dis Mania CD ones cuz they're pretty stable then a a dynasty which is the old cd2 mold which looks a little more bladed a little flipp sphin just uh maybe better who knows I I have no idea Savant is definitely going to be more over stable and probably more workable and probably something I would like typically throw more in like tournament routes all right first Heiser here it is oh he's using one he's got six you know he's a little greedy over there oh let's go you wasted it absolutely oh tree oh oh oh no way that's not bad I'm not going to use a high cuz I want to see kind of how far you can if if you can like throw touchy enough like little soft Flex Shot and have it get back towards that basket cuz it seems stable enough to do it come on not bad a little deep oh anti- skip that was smooth that is pretty much how you described it on the first teapad oh yeah you weren't lying to me so that's a good sign Joel do you have any tips about how to harness the dad strength that I'm about to get well I've you know I've found that the secret ingredient is in fact the glow Halo Savant oh if you guys go to my Instagram page there's this there's this video I took at Northwood black and I hu it might have been that pink one actually that you're using and I chucked it like 530 ft low ceiling it was just I did not expect it at all didn't even understand what I had done until I walked down the Fairway and it was farther than anyone's drive that I saw the whole tournament gosh so which hole just kind of like slight heer maybe flat this isn't in Colorado so it's this is a lower elevation and get some turn jeez so you look at it and you're like oh that probably went that probably went 400 it went 532 all right you're probably out but you think so we're here so yeah I'm I'm a little out dang good tree the tree knew I used the heer bro oh gosh you getting scared yet dude yeah this t- shot's just touchy bro I I'm I'm using another heer jeez yeah this guy's got all the hisers in the world uh Ah that's so bad I did not feel that wind yeah are you serious are you serious right now dude I thought the wind was blowing the opposite dire what is this I feel like I have to conserve that way if we get close to the end and I and I can use them we'll be good so oh it's so solid skip up the hill yeah that's that's quite good I think this the feel of this disc is a little more stable than it's been flying like it feels just like slightly more stable which is something that's super subconscious and not even real but I'm making it up in my head and so I'm like throwing on a little more angle yeah I mean again you're you're throwing a pretty new one like I've thrown that one 10 times probably so it's it it will start off with the with an overstable finish beat it in a little bit and it'll just you it'll become your favorite disc I'm thinking that it's like a step up for my dynasties that I used to throw but I might try to start treating it like one but it feels like it'll go a little farther honestly oh stay up ah M what what that felt so good are you throwing the same one every time or are you changing up to the other one you were telling me about before yeah so far I've just stuck with the same one there'll be a couple holes where where it calls for The Flipper one I have one that's a little beat in so you'll get to see a little more of that one will definitely higher flip Big Time whereas this is more of just a straight nice I'll let you call this one Danza this will be another tweener gosh I'm not quite getting the width on those still a putt that one was mostly flat out of your hand I'll give it to you yeah I say I'm going to throw a flat shot and then it comes out looking more Hiser than that a lot of times so I'll give that one to you okay right on I think if I throw it high enough I can still not use a Hiser and throw for hang come on back wow it just went dead straight from the teapad on the line yep holy cow it's so straight Joel left himself a nice look right behind that tree I threw the right power just not really getting the shape right it is just super straight oh what a guy oh shoot should have gone with the with the fun line one back oh of course oh my gosh wait what did you just put that through this is the one that I make I was like I should have gone with the fun line that's the yeah that's the way to do it dang Sant is a good putter 415 I think with straight is I'm going to try to just throw it right at the basket do you throw it hard and flat while it turn or do you need to turn it a bit um oh yep there it is you started out on a tiny Hiser and it held it all right I'm in between going overstable one or like straight guy for the wind or flippy guy for the shape of the cuz I like your fancy little inside line so I'm I'm going to try to do that with the flippy guy oh yeah see that late turn dude o too much left oh that was close these things like to kind of I like they kind of go oh too right way too right silly guy oh this is your putter Savant here I'll make sure I'll see if it's a good putter or not still goes in from 8 feet y this one down there 315 I think it says this is definitely one where heer probably a smart play but you could also throw like a stall Flex there's a left right though I'm going to try it okay through wow it's going to be a little left but we'll doing a ton of work on your putting you've been tell oh for yes yep that's like all I work on for the last eight years eight years J I don't really practice throwing cuz I'm already good and Target the weaknesses and yeah they're still we it's kind of crazy that you can be 1030 some rated and putting be a weakness that's kind of dangerous get it oh I think I'm flinging at the end so what's the rest of your tour look like this year oh bab you kind of been on and off yeah so I had my first child my little little daughter um in January and so yeah took the beginning of the season a little light took the middle of the Season very light played a couple local events um but have been in Colorado for the past I don't know a couple months um time to head to Europe on Monday and then uh all the rest from there so sweet and bonus the uh the baby's coming along this time yeah it's going to be super fun I'm going to have to ask you how to do that cuz that's the plan as well there you go so it's it's going to be really fun to show her off to all our you know all our touring friends and stuff so yeah we're stoked That's so exciting all right well well you're BLX again you know I got to go the best disc for this hole jeez you rip that so hard every time that might work it's all scary on the right side throw a little forehand little ground play also the Rollo is also a great choice always you're welcome that so good Joel was just saying that they should do a Rollo world championship and I think that that would be the most incredible thing ever so Ina needs to make that happen no gosh stay dry it's dry I'm so underc committed today I mean that is a really touchy shot that you were just trying to thr I know uhoh is dry a relative term dry is not a correct term well I guess oh little Leaning Tree three 8390 is this is a good hole this a really love this hole is that the straight one or the flippy one ah that was the flippy one I was trying to encourage myself to not overpower it so I put the delicate one in my hand Little T yes that's the freaking shape right there that was nice all right here we go different one oh my gosh stop pulling everything ah oh my gosh dude all right 45ft fieldwork to a basket right down there Ace run no gosh dude I'm not not getting it flat this over yeah this is very interesting cuz to me this disc goes 440 and so to try to make it go 400 is like really technical not something I that's like some Bradley Williams Golf I'm trying to play here no that was tweeny that was a Hiser on accident kind of okay that was definitely AER oh that's the one that's the one yeah didn't quite want to hold but yeah all right I got to look to get better than five back the putting today has been something else oh it's a little b o oh it's kind of odd cuz I've been putting like really well recently I'm still practicing but I woke up today and decided to just forget how to putt left the door wide open for him slight headwind can he do it he got it nice work nice pot back to even let's go got yourself some meat on the bone there yeah I got it nice pot dude thank you all right 368 this is a good SWAT hole then the next two are going to be a little touchy this hole people always like this stupid cheater back door thing but little little more power than you needed that's solid effort though yeah it looks like a putt puffing back there I'm like translating it straight instead of up right A lot of these like stall shots if I throw 10 ft higher they're really good are you just going the straight turnover yeah that was way too severe dang ah gross I mean the last thing I wanted to do was saw it out but still oh clean that's it's not going to hold that went really far oops the upside down is this a thummer oh no right again yeah nice point that would have brought it back to three Strokes I would have been I would have been chasing it down 350 right back there still three higher left but this one I think is honestly just kind of a that same shot I just threw but it'll actually work this time go go go go go no not a bad effort didn't turn it at all a it's so annoying it's just like falls out of my hand when I'm trying to downtempo it I think you got putting from I want to hit this line so bad yeah and then I overcook it ah how is even right I like aim my body so left and it's still air bullet right every time oh let's a chance to go in I think the trees need you to throw bad shots to give you good kicks and then you throw really good shots and it's like screw you for sure what the heck ooh drop in WoW dang I think it's that too get effort oh yes what better place this is super technical but but what better place what a psycho oh see that's not that's not close whole 18 last time I played here I got this on the first disc for the first time which means the floodgates are open it's Eagle it every single time 5 footer up the hill left or right tail it's good W this is cool too cuz this is a shot this is a hole I would actually use this disc on whereas none of the other shots that we throw this whole time would would I personally use that'd be better for somebody with a little bit lower arm speed ooh committed in the Tailwind that's a really good effort skip up let's go how' you guys do the artwork what was that about cuz this is sweet Yeah so basically you know I just thought of like the word Savant mhm and like like of course you can make the connection like a savant of disc golf but I was raised by two artists my mom and my dad both do they have his hair both of them absolutely not but that's that's where my mind went cuz you usually you're thinking either like a mathematician an artist a musician that kind of thing and so I'm like let's go artist cuz that goes back to my my roots and uh and so then it was a matter of just you know an homage to the strawberry the my most like iconic shirt or whatever like mad scientist Vibes like yeah it's brilliant straw you trying to have some fun with it um what reason you have to make any sort of stamp in particular and so I had the idea and so I just ran with it oh too much dang let come on oh oh that hid her back let's go that hid her back legal looks all right finish in style up oh that was so sad yeah yeah that I that's fitting cuz you know that just I'm not mad at you for that one oh oh no both of us oh my gosh dude ooh nice got one back there definitely should have been too this thing is sick it's a little more of a stable than the sealine CD ones very glidey kind of reminds me most of my Romans I would definitely bag it if I wasn't bagging Romans I think like genuinely this is a very impressive disc it's kind of like my flippy Romans but without the little bit of turn so I think a lot of you guys would like this and the stand it's pretty sick snag them wherever you can genuinely very impressed with this glad I finished under par sad I couldn't make a 20 foot puff for youle for sure sad I couldn't make a 20 foot
