Was Anyone Even Asking For a Putter That Flies Like THIS?!? // New Infinite Discs RAZE Review

welcome back to videos disc golf today we've got to take a look at a new disc from infinite disks which I have an idea of what it might be replacing a little bit maybe not replacing but adding into infinite's lineup and that is the infinite disks raise it just came out a couple days ago and they sent one out to me in the arblin it's like our Pro plastic and the color glow blend now if you look at these they are slightly deep look like stable Putters and their numbers would say that it's three two zero three so kind of an approach disc kind of an overstable throwing Putter and I feel like it's very similar to this AVR X3 which also has the same numbers this is like the first district I ever got actually and you can look at the top and it looks like the same and one bottom obviously is slightly different the AVR X3 being a little bit shallower but one of the things I heard about infinite is a lot of times what they'll do is they'll take Innova Discs and mix and match tops and bottoms to create a new disk like I've heard that the Pharaoh is a striped bottom and a destroyer top whereas the emperor is the opposite so now that could 100 not be true but it's definitely interesting to think about because it looks like the top of this is very much an AVR X3 similar to having a little bit of a pump top on the r blend but the bottom looks a little bit deeper so it should be good for both forehands and backhands and so we're back here at Johnny Roberts disc golf course about to do another Johnny putter review here is the current leaderboard I think 13 down is our record so far with I think the Zone OS which is kind of nuts let's see how well we can shoot and if this is a disc that you should consider bagging my bag is pretty set and I don't think this is going to take a spot in it but it could be a really good disc and maybe something that you're looking for shout out infinite disc Connor over there who runs their YouTube he hooked me up with a couple of these very interested to see how they fly really that wasn't a headwind too wow oh that's a little more stable than the color glow which makes sense oh both are parked though let's go it's interesting because I haven't heard a ton of people except for big germ talking about the AVR X3 recently and it is a very solid mold I've never thrown an avr-3 this might be more similar to that not 100 sure but I think this is like a very specific disc for a lot of people honestly I think one of the reasons big German likes it is he's very forehand dominant and something like an Envy you can definitely flick and I do but flicking an Envy compared to something like this which is built to be a little more torque resistant you could just tell by this beveled Edge at the bottom I feel like because he's more forehand dominant that's why he might like the AVR X3 which is why some people might like this raise for like a very torque resistant forehand putter sneak through all right honestly it's still a putt terrible threat though I think I'm thinking it's an envy and Envy's Glide for days this is like a it's like a forehanders Envy you know from like this that I I'm probably gonna back I should definitely stick to shots that I'm comfortable throwing you know don't go crazy because you think this reminds you of something that might not even be true when you're two holes into a video foreign whole three is one of the longer ones on the course definitely not out of putter range but this is more maybe more of an a Putter and approach disc it's going to be interesting because this is a Tailwind so it's going to stable out even more and this definitely is more of that two Glide even on this one which I'm kind of surprised about so I'm gonna have to throw it on a little Annie line down this Corridor here 273 that thing is stay wow it just gets to the ground really need to throw that higher I keep thinking it's not a two light disc I really like that line though I like that line better go in oh word over top oh I shake that did not extend at all nice little headwind flow to go this is an interesting spot it definitely feels a little deeper it's a little less comfortable on the backhand for me because of how beveled it is and combined with how deep it is see like it's definitely a slightly deeper AVR X3 so if you really like that you might like this one but this one we're gonna go forehand line a little Flex forehead into slight headwind try to get the ace here not a bad shot need to give a little more height and that one I just turned over and threw too hard three down through four I haven't even come close touching any metal though so far to me I say these definitely seem to be a little more conducive to the forehand line it's a little more comfortable because that was weird it does kind of rip off of this snuck a little bit weird because of how beveled it is I think this premium plastic one I don't know they both handle torque pretty good man that one definitely straightens out at least it kicked safe but geez get a little higher dude oh my gosh that was so close definitely needed to lean down a little bit more get down so I could swing up instead of staying a little bit flatter step biggest thing is I don't bogey because if you bogey I have to get one of these away and then if I Ace I can negate that but it's not as easy as Joseph makes a walk I think too like this has a little more Dome than this one this is a little more predictable in the wind since it gets to the grounds a little bit faster and that's not bad for an approach disc I want more dominant driver in the window because it'll move less left to right all right 222 Straight Ahead going back to the backhand wind is coming from the left to the right so we can probably throw it pretty close to at it flat foreign decent not great it does kind of have a dumping finish instead of a pushing finish get there shorty I always underestimate how long this hole is it's not long but I always throw it shorter I don't know how many people are going to be super interested in this disc for bagging you maybe it's more of like the old school players who like threw in of a stuff back in the day because Xavier X3 is not getting a lot of love maybe infinite's like isn't it like a subsidiary of Innova I know that they're different but I know that they work together it's kind of an interesting Arrangement but it definitely just seems like hey we want to make a cooler AVR X3 and call it the Rays maybe avr3 I don't know I don't know all this in the world obviously but for hole 7 we're going 237 up here the wind is pushing slightly right to left this is where I do slightly want this Dome a little more seems honestly slightly less torque resistant than the R1 let's go ahead and make sure we throw it on a little Annie okay oh it does not fight out of it as fast as I thought it would that makes sense for the type of disc it is I was guessing treating it more like a Zone but it's not that there's also a right to left that's gonna be better I threw that one a little higher a little more nose up a little more parked dang that's a good shot I feel like for panning Annie's that have some bite at the end really good this is the one ace 171 Straight Ahead there our blend raise into the freaking chains oh I shanked it I shaved it so bad oh my God what was that I threw it like here instead of here it's not in but better Jace these little upshot distances this is one of the shots I really need to practice as the season gets going so definitely upshot video is coming living on the edge of circle one today dying on the edge of circle one today obviously this is only like 10 15 drives in but I'd say so far that the race is very it reminds me flight wise of an Envy if like you took it I mean just like totally puddle topped it it made it very not glidy it's very similar flight to that the feel is definitely different so if you want that flight and you'd like a slightly deeper feel or a little bit of a beveled feel for the forehand really solid because I won't for him my envies much probably take a beat-in zone for that slot but this is a disc that I would forehand a decent bid if I was to bag it but I'm not planning on it my bag is really not going to change at all this year so bag of Bin it's probably gonna take a different name because it's just going to be well I guess not because you guys can bag it or a minute but for me it's always going to be a not gonna bag it all right 240 Straight Ahead there we're gonna go between these trees give it a slight amount of flex out of the hand there's a Tailwind so it should stable it my gosh I shank that thing man a lot of it is obviously like it's bad throw but part of it is like the grip I'm not being able to get a great grip on it with the size of my hands and the comfortability of it that's a better shot much better shot significantly way way way better shot I do say this sometimes in my videos and not often because a lot of times it is just bad throws but that one held onto my finger a little bit longer because of the beveled Edge at the bottom and the way that I grip it which is one of the reasons why it's probably not going to make my bag because everyone grips this slightly differently and you want to make sure that this that you have in your bag fit your game you know and I think people a lot of times underestimate grip and they'll like blame it and sometimes it is like you're not squeezing it tight enough and the grip itself feels comfortable in your hand but if it just doesn't feel comfortable in your hands don't throw it there's so many discs that fly very similar if not the same that you can get one that feels good in your hand and has the flight that you want oh thank you dang it honestly I would say that this one because it's a little domeier feels a bit more comfortable in my hands than the r blend and I think too because of the plastic it feels a little more rounded whereas this feels a little bit sharper all right hole 10 here I think we're still only five down we're gonna throw the forehand on a slight Flex actually we're probably not since we want to throw a load a high hyzer and there's a slight head and we're going to try to throw it around these trees foreign or through the tree to the basket I don't want to work this is like the first good drive I've had in this hole in one of these videos all right hole 11 162. right there Tailwind kind of left to right so not a bad little slight any Flex we'll go stand still on them short dang it such a good line I'm a great little Park job but two straight so bad great Drive we're gonna try a bit of a funky line today we're gonna try the step off forehand not a good line in my opinion but a fun line sit down Ah that's safe that's kind of funky fairly safe though oh man those definitely fly a little different I'll get it up dude nope I definitely think this one is both a lot stable and less glidey this one's slightly more stable and more Glady but I think a lot of it has to do with the puddle top and the R1 probably has gotten beat in a little bit even over the course of this round all right 2 31 Dead Ahead we get to finally throw these on some anhyzer lines and see just how they hold and then pan down so I feel like that's one of the most beautiful shots just to watch something hand down to flat foreign it's a good disc that one definitely holds the line a little longer than the other really clean flex line this one I threw a little uh less anhyzer and a little lower so didn't have time to kind of bite into it and fight out of it but ever since we've been throwing the color Cone first uh we've got all birdies except for one which is when I took that stupid line so there's something to be said about using discs that fit your hands more comfortably all right straight ahead 150 and that means Ace town oh I thought it was a little long but you can always dream you know don't even look at that came out early all right straight down there basket 204 feet away definitely one that I've noticed that once they catch an edge probably a lot of it because of the wind but also because it's a little Glady it kind of stays up a little longer than I want it to I want it to kind of dump a little bit more kind of like this one does but I just cannot I can't get over the hand feel of the sharpness of that bottom of that Rim this round is just much more comfortable to throw try to keep it slightly lower might give us a chance at the ace no I didn't either I just threw a bad shot still good I love that one I didn't even see that range I will say for putting these are pretty solid they have that nice little bit of fade this plastic feels good and this bevel is just deep enough that it is not an uncomfortable point for how I normally like to putt so that's why the Potter's been working today I wouldn't change Putters to this but I I would change Butters as plastic this arblin plastic is nice and grippy oh too much Dan oh my gosh I can't talk about how good oh that's a roll away and a half just short on that one oh you oh one of these is going to Patron of course right after I talk about how the Putter's been working the way it's too easy putts except for one the patron shoes is gonna get one of these so patreon linked always down screen so I don't like keeping track of them because I have to whip my phone out between every hole it's kind of annoying thank you it's ah wow that's a great shot well it kind of flipped up a little bit I was trying to see if I could flip it up didn't flip up a lot but a little bit this Ray seems to fit an in-between slot between my zones and my envies because it's less glidie than the envies but not as torque resistant and it moves a little less left to right than my zones do and I intentionally don't bag this slot personally doesn't mean it's a bad slot at all and a lot of you guys might get some use out of this I had a decent time with these discs they're not ones that I'm excited to go on throw again so I'm not mad that I'm giving one to a patron big shout out to infinite for hooking these up hopefully we ate some of these last ones I don't have to give it away mostly just for my pride I might still give it away but let's definitely Ace one of these you know oh my yeah I need some food in my system you know what I mean double food I need double triple quadruple food in my system let's make a big butt to end it that'll be electric still too dang it maybe the butter isn't working
