You Changed My Life Forever...

welcome back to Danza disc golf and I just want to let you guys know that you legitimately changed my life as you can tell I'm a little colder than usual it's also very windy right now we're in Elizabeth Colorado which is just uh south east of Denver because we've been staying with some family in Castle Rock while we looked for an apartment just over the past two days and we've already been able to find one I'm officially going to be moved into a Denver apartment tomorrow as I film this video actually before you guys see it this is crazy honestly I haven't been able to play disc golf for the past couple days and today it's probably not going to be good I have had to do like all the things that come with signing a lease getting utilities All That Jazz but we're at prickly Pines disc golf course and we're gonna play 18 holes with my bag without throwing them before this because I think we're at like 5 000 something maybe 6 000 something feet of elevation and if you guys don't know elevation makes your discs more stable because there's less air 6476 feet also it's 34 degrees right now I'll go to Colorado baby oh baby I do want to snag one disc that I haven't been throwing in a long time or haven't thrown in a long time I got this disc actually in Denver at a tournament was my go-to mid-range summer Safari for another round oh everything is so cold but it's my emac truth and I think I'm putting it back in the bag to replace my hex because I just was not getting along with it and I just have a history with it in a Colorado History I've heard the cold makes you lose distance I've also heard that elevation well I know that elevation makes things more stable but we got our bag don't think I can even warm up the putt um I don't know if this is gonna be a good round but it should be a lot of fun hopefully have a blast around and talk through some changes that are going to have to come with the Channel with the move that I think will be really good 358 feet it says there to the basket all the way up that hill oh okay that was moving things are very much more stable my hands are very cold too oh they're slushy oh it's not slush is nice oh that's like oh yeah easy part the good thing is you can blame leaving it short on there being less air foreign content on the channel I feel like it's fine and I like what I'm putting out but for a lot of the videos this past month especially with like thinking about a move and training and just also putting out videos every single day it's just a lot and today this video is gonna be the last of my daily videos not forever probably there will definitely be back-to-back days that I film videos but today marks 125 days of videos every single day there's been a video uploaded before midnight local time wherever I'm at since October 31st through today um and tomorrow is not going to be one and that kind of makes me sad because you guys have legitimately changed my life over the course of these four plus months I've got a lot more confidence in my abilities as a player I've built a community that I think is really supportive of me but also holding a little bit accountable and I've heard from you guys that you guys are getting more interested in tournaments and the competitive side of the game which is what I'm really passionate about personally it also allowed me and my wife to think about instead of what's the cheapest place we can afford to get out of the van where do we want to go and live and we've really wanted to live here and we found a place that is perfect for us and that doesn't mean there's gonna be less content because there are a lot of disc golf courses around and a lot of content to come and I'm very excited to continue with it just like this whole so let's get on to it and I talk about a little bit of the changes but let's just enjoy 18 holes together probably still three to five videos a week but committing to daily has made me put something out for the sake of my streak sometimes instead of being the most proud of it that I can and I just want to make sure that everything that I put out is what you guys want to see and is what I want to make so let's get on this next hole which is like 270 up and over the hill I cannot see the basket but I'm gonna run up and check out it's actually warm up together I'm so happy that I moved here honestly I don't know why I'm about to cry on a YouTube video at prickly Pines in Elizabeth Colorado but ah man I where like is the basket is that it okay I see a basket through those trees right through there so basically negotiate this double Mando and then finish to the left so probably P1 yeah I love it so I did not throw it nearly High Enough and now I got a snow lie Envy forehand through this small little Gap I'm gonna move the camera kind of a dumb line to go for but if I hit it I look like a genius oh I'm a genius oh I'm a genius let's go these d-pads are super small I guess it's good for practicing shorter run-ups one thing too then I want to share with you guys this my training is going to take a lot of Precedence one of the reasons I'm going through less videos is because I'm going to try to be on the course probably only one time per week from here on out for the next like three or four weeks and every other day except for maybe one or two rest days just dial in form and training which I'll also take you guys along that Journey for sure I just want to get ready for tournament season and hopefully develop some spin when uh that I just kind of put in my bag one of my banan's a first run piers it got out there could not quite oh man it's also my fault for roughly extending this is so slick okay we're going over the hill somewhere let's get through oh bad shot all right here's a shot I'm a little nervous for what the heck happens when it's how far does it slide does it stop oh let's go that's so fun I'm sure I won't say that forever but for now it still is thank you oh it kind of stayed turned good ground play though oh yeah that's a putt okay not quite a death pot but with the ground being sword packed I'm really learning that if you want to trust the ground action oh whoa oh my gosh there we go all right our basket is over and then left I think it's like 340 it says I think it's strike time baby a little nervous about stability we're going downhill so that'll help make it slightly less stable okay swing baby swing oh what the heck was heck was that follow the paths of the people okay I need to I need to know it's too snowy for me to talk to you guys while I walk through it okay follow the paths that are laid out before you babes all right I'm 99 sure I'm like way over here maybe should be a few one but you know make it the pure be pretty electric too nice there we go you might be able to see the basket slightly kind of through all this stuff right there so it looks like just a pretty decent hyzer shot big headwind on this hole though I don't know if that means I should really disc up or not there's definitely going to be a pretty decent learning curve for how these discs are flying because this is 360. out and back to the left I think I still want to go Fairway I think because of the headwind I would go fire a bird here but I might just go strike on a little hyzer baby let's go so happens when you focus on 10 Things I think the firebird is a good play actually yeah that's a really good play actually he's gonna skip right oh do it hey can we do each other a favor and just pretend like I threw the firebird first you're just gonna see a discounted complying out of those woods you're not gonna see it because it's so bad oh my gosh Anthony I tried to just ship up an easy forehand it's just Houston law thank you oh my God now that we got a boogie I'm gonna actually start caring about score now I really want to get another par all right I like that they got that little pole there it says 275. it's like headwind probably just MVA that's the 25th TV oh nice straight up the hill a little cross-winded I like how much elevation this course has it's a little far especially from where I'm uh gonna be uh situated and like playing a lot of courses but it's definitely one that like I'll come back to this one but it's up there so I think we can throw the Pharaoh at it even stay turned whoa that I think this also goes to show how much more work I'm gonna have to do on building a bag if I was already struggling with flippy discs okay oh that's it as Nate Turner would say back nine snack time I mean copy snack time because we're over par Tom just don't think about it not gonna think about anything just gonna throw launch it there so I like the strike baby beautiful little hole straight and down there 349 and they can see Mac truth time I haven't thrown this disc in months oh pulled that one let's get in bounds I'll take a pulled shot that's just a little deep back nine snack time I'm gonna have to send Nate royalties now so many royalties getting paid out to people all right 242 right up the hill Oh this got really wet all right just a simplifier shot honestly you just want to spike it into the hill there's wind pushing that way so a little more penetrating hyzer instead of high hyzer play to the wind baby I'll get through oh I really like that kept it a little too low I think I also pulled it a little I think kotoku just tried to throw it flat up there could also be a really good option all right maybe some would say a better option I don't know who they would be but they might say that I don't know why they would do that though good stuff good stuff all right 13 here try to keep the train rolling looks like it's just straight ahead you could probably barely see the top of the basket and this elevation is getting me so super just dead straight I think P1 I mean the P1 we got history you know like a whole two two two two two two months pretty good history foreign has left the station for now we'll pick it back up the next stop looks like it's up through that Gap 254 or 282 and I don't know which way it's right or left but throwing it straight there about 260. you're golden yes that's 270. straight up finishing right okay I do not have anything Flippy at sea level so we're gonna go up here yes that's exactly not quite exactly what I wanted I think it's parked though if the basket is where I think it is oh you just lied to me can you believe it look where I am for the other pin position where you just as it is right now 15 feet oh deathbot though oh gosh bye bye just so you know I'm not just making up for a bad shot it had us coming this way unfortunately dang it back to bogeyville we're still under par though I was just hoping we would kind of kill this back nine all right try the P1 just just ace it you know finally turn this into a q A's in Colorado God every time I say something about p1as I threw the worst shot in the world oh my gosh oh Edmund all right with these three holes left let's talk a little bit about the plans for the channel because I know my goal is still capturing at a Pro Tour event like I don't think it's ever been like oh I'm gonna do it this year but of course I want to try and so if I can get into some events I'll definitely do that but just to give you guys an idea of kind of where this year is at we just moved to Denver it's going to take us a little bit to get settled in probably by mid-month I might have someone of a routine it's another two weeks from when I'm shooting this and then I'll give myself a month and a half more basically only have an off season so a lot more form work to do between then and now and honestly because of all that I don't know if I'm going to be like ready this year and that might mean that instead of just like really having a developed form I might actually instead continue to tweak it over the season which is going to make my play a little worse still really want to get to that thousand rated by the end of the year that's why I'm waiting to play tournaments until May I have actually been waitlisted on one here in Denver it'll be a course that I play a lot so that should be pretty good I'm hoping to great shot I was like a 80 foot little four-hander in there that's what I tried to do last fall he just showed me up and I didn't even get on video fighter jet that's pretty cool but here in Colorado it's like a dream like just thank you so much for letting this happen for me I don't think there's gonna be like drastic changes to the content the only thing is I'm planning on making a little higher quality and to be honest like when my mind is in six different places and Scattered because I have to worry about like getting a video upload that day and also if I'm going to shower just having everything in one place is going to be so good so I'm excited for you guys to see the increase in quality of the content hopefully some of you guys who might have come here for the first time in a long time we'll go back and watch some of the videos that I have put out over the past month or two but I have a lot more videos that I'm really excited for you guys to see uh coming down the line I know the type of quality that I can put out and it just has not been there yet and I've been kind of holding back a little bit because I haven't felt like I've needed to get to the next level and I still don't feel like 100 need to but I kind of want to I want to give you guys that X gear and uh maybe still hold a little tiny bit tight a bit back until I get some help but lots of content coming multiple times a week I'll tell you about why it's not daily though on the next one not enough Glide fine shot but it's 40 feet to be honest you might see seven videos in a row 10 videos in a row again for me very soon but I am forcing myself to not post a video tomorrow so that I'm only posting videos that I'm proud of that I think that you guys will like a lot because I like there have been some videos that like I've split some 18 hole videos into just nine hole videos which is fine it's better if there's just 18 holes for you guys and not having to keep a streak alive which is what I felt like I've been doing because over the past 125 days I posted this many videos I think it's around 140 because I did two a days for a lot I have to cut the streak so that I can't start another one because I've never I'm not I'm never gonna beat 125 days all right whole 17 I got basically oh there's a blue pole over there 381. all right let's give it a riff gonna go pharaoh or maybe emperor I think that's pretty close honestly terrible I hate hitting stuff on the way down it always messes up my rhythm not a bad good ready to get so last hole I would say that you guys can expect a lot of very content a lot more content with more people as I just make friends and start to build rhythms of like an actual Disc Golf Community instead of just being a loner in the vanilla van right there some disc reviews a lot more like just Vlogs style stuff where we just have fun playing disc golf because that's what disc golf's about as well as the training for the Pro Tour stuff because that's so important to me it's got the P1 at it because I can it's like 250 feet I think just could finally get the p1as please don't ever jinx myself now okay drop it oh oh man that's a P1 I keep saying I want to get I want to be get a P1 Ace like Simon and then every time I do that I shank it and so that one I finally said it and I didn't shake it so that's a positive oh my gosh then it's also going to be sold soon uh it's kind of the end of an era I'm gonna have to get a new logo I'm gonna run probably one more shattered van run of discs fishing MBS and maybe fishing insanities maybe some prison plasma envies as well but I appreciate you guys so much gross safe safe safe very safe just like I started this video thank you guys so much you guys have changed my life and I hope to continue to entertain you that's really the point of the channel share the journey because disc golf is fun and it's also competitive and the mixture of both of them is what I think makes it a beautiful game for me so hardcore video from yesterday here otherwise I will see you guys not tomorrow that's kind of bittersweet it's been a long and good run awesome more to come okay
