what is good foundation nation and welcome to disc golf myth but let's get into it so today we're gonna be tackling a few different myths that were submitted to you to us by you over on instagram first one mvp the gyro technology makes this go farther that should be fun so we got mvp discs and then there's similar counterparts that are non-gyro see which ones go farther second we're going to be testing is running up faster makes you throw farther so we got a speed gun to see if that actually has any speed correlation and we'll also be looking using the same disc to see how much farther they go in the field third one is the faster speed of a disc makes you throw farther so does the disk speed actually change anything when it releases the distance and the fourth and final one we're gonna be testing is the age old one this is the most recommended same nice shot actually makes your disc hit trees should be fun all right so for the first one to see if mvp the gyro technologies makes disc go farther we're gonna be testing the wave against the thrasher we're testing the crave against a leopard we're testing the tenacity against the hades and then we'll be testing the new hex against a meteor so that way even if some of the discs aren't exactly the same correlation wise it should be close enough across the board that we can kind of get some general averages as to what's going further so i think we're even considering the possibility that gyro goes further but like what happens when all of a sudden it goes like 15 feet further on average i'm considering the possibility what do we do like what does the game do from there like we have to then my whole bag goes to gyro yeah like i've considered this possibility i'm excited for this part i'm like terrified all right off camera i threw the hex and the meteor and the meteors wave flip here so when i got the hex we throw it against my mako three instincts i think that's gonna be a more true comparison there we go all right i really i got a hold of that one as long as i get a hold of this hex that'll...
