What is good foundation you should today we're at Lester Lorch Park playing a little doubles. >> [music] >> We're out here playing the beaver course which from what I understand is a little bit more open of the two and we're here because we were just at Disc South and I was talking to a bunch of different people trying to figure out where to play this week and Greg Barsby said you got to go to hide away and then I was like oh I heard it didn't drain so well because we've got a lot of rain down here he's like oh it doesn't drain well at all he's like well considering that then you got to check out Lester Lorch he sent me a text two awesome courses here so that's what we're doing today. We drove down here this course looks incredible I know nothing about it other than Barsby told me to play here. What we're going to do is Tyler and I are going to play best shot doubles and our goal is to get into the top 10 on the leaderboard which all time top 10 looks like you need to be nine under to get into the top 10. So we got to birdie half the holes out here um it seems doable but also like I said I know nothing about this park so it might be a crazy line. What punishment should we do? >> There has to be a punishment. >> It just makes the video more fun. We're doing a what not tonight do we do a what not punishment? All right we're going to spin if we don't get nine under today we're going to spin the wheel and auction a disc off on what not so if you saw our what not [laughter] a little bit ago you might already know what's about to happen but hey let's see how this goes hole one is about 500 ft par four straight up this hill um short par four but very uphill so we got to get one in play here. I think it's going to be destroyer. Come back. Oh come out of it. >> Wow. It must be nasty wind up there. Did turn some into the wind but I don't that we might be fine over there I don't know yet. Tyler's also injured. I don't know what I did to my shoulder I have experienced my first ever disc golf injury I've never really hurt myself but yesterday playing with Jay Million Broderick I threw an MD3 as hard as I could and I just felt something kind of and it's I'm feeling it this morning so hopefully At least you don't have like anything on the line today or anything. Yeah I'm I'm going to try and just kind of throw some really under stable drivers here. >> Why don't you smooth out an overstable driver cuz I'm already right? And then you can be left we have options. Well I don't plan on this going I plan on throwing this so not hard that it doesn't go right. >> Okay. Okay. All right well we got >> options we got options. Get for me. Not straight. Ooh that's a long putt. >> I mean it is a putt we can make that. Oh yeah. There we go. >> That looks great. Oh that's a good start. I don't even think we can miss that. Okay. >> Ace off that hole like I feel like we're going to destroy this course. >> Tyler's feeling very good. Okay we've got about UDisc says 340 par three way out in the field. I could go up and over but I don't think I can get it that far. Yeah it is kind of a crush but >> to get so high so early. It is a tough shot this is very >> I think I'm going to go low ceiling and be fine. It's very low ceiling. Oh I went right. Work for him work for him. No that's crushed. Yeah that's not good Tyler. That's not good. That gap I think you can go that gap with your nuke though. Yeah. And just let it skip right. That's not the gap I was trying to go I yanked the crap out of it but it gives you a higher ceiling over there. Big skip. Yeah I like that. >> Big skip. Uh it's a putt. >> Yeah it's a putt we got that. All right. We only have to birdie every other hole. >> Showgun's might be a little too light for Yeah he's got a 168 g Showgun's. I think I'll have to putt with the the hammer here. Oh no. Do you use one of PA3 out of my bag? >> No no no no no I'm good with this I'm good. All right. I don't like this >> [laughter] >> this is not good. Huh. I got it. All right every other we only need to birdie every other hole anyways so >> 330 par three sitting on top of the hill out there road deep and beyond is OB. I'm going to go Thunderbird. Another cool stable. Yeah. Crap. It's also crushed. Yeah. I think the wind really picked that one up. Jeez. That looks much better. Okay we'll have something I think. >> Hunter went OB long so we've got about 35 40 footer here. Oh that was a good bid. All right. Ooh. Thought I had that. >> I'm starting to take back my statement about destroying this course. >> 286 ft downhill par three uh mando left of that so basically has to be a forehander or turnover. >> Tricky distance cuz you don't really want to skip. >> No I think I'm going to go putter backhand to be honest. I like that. No I didn't get it right. Mm. I've thrown one good shot today and even that didn't go where I wanted it to. >> I think I'll try the backhand too. I feel like it's better just cuz the forehand might skip like I feel like it's going to be hard to get the forehand to stay. I'm going to Vader. Oh it's so low. Oh boy. Well decent skip. Okay we'll have a fun >> putt. >> We're in trouble. >> Wow I was feeling really confident after that first hole. Well I mean hey we're only four holes in this could be the toughest stretch of the course probably not. It could be. I have a feeling a wide open 330 followed by a wide open 330 followed by a wide open 280 probably need to get those. It's okay we can still get this one we can still get this one. Mm. It's like now it's over now we parred it now we officially missed it. Okay one for four. All right we now have a 393 ft par three low ceiling flex shot. Uh I like our chances here better than the 280 one those wide open one hole ago so just pump out I'm thinking I'm going to go cornerstone. I like that. >> A little hydra flip get it to turn around that tree down there. Flip flip flip. >> Mm. I think I must be tired I think my arm's tired. We went to Dave and Busters yesterday a lot of pop a shot cuz nothing nothing's flying the way I'm expecting it to. Get Miss it miss IT MISS IT. ALL RIGHT. LET'S TRY TO GET TWO UNDER THROUGH SIX. Come out of it. You know that might be okay. >> Yeah I think right I mean yeah right behind that bush. >> at least. I love that. Oh. All right. Was that crazy that almost go in? I don't know I couldn't really see the basket. >> Bad news Tyler's is deep in there. Deep behind him and mine would have been fine but there's a tree in between that we didn't see. So we now have to putt through these branches and just hope we get lucky so that we don't go even through five. We got to turn turn something around here else we're going to birdie the whole back nine. All right. That's easy I'm just not a good putter. Okay okay you can make that. Oh boy. We're tearing this thing up. >> There's a bogey. Great line. >> I have a 344 ft par three here. We just got to get through the front nine a few under. Cuz if we don't have to birdie like we don't want to have to go like seven or eight for nine when we don't know what the back nine looks like. So we need to get this one 344 and it looks a little tricky I think I'm going to try to smooth the passion. Come on. Well It's down there. It's not good Tyler. >> [laughter] >> It's not good we're not within 10 ft we're not making a birdie. I'm just trusting that there's going to be a birdie gold coming up just like all 200 ft wide open putter shots. Push. Big skip. Nope. Okay but I feel like it's going to be closer than we think only because this hole is allegedly 340 and like you had to throw that at least like 300 something feet. It's much better than we thought we're probably just outside the circle. Really need to make one of these. >> [groaning] >> Dang. It's okay all right all right I got All right. This is awesome. Yeah. This is a display of disc golf right here. >> Okay good and bad news good news I looked it up once we get through hole 10 things soften well distance wise it might be really wooded I don't know I don't know what we're getting into. But we have some sub 200 ft holes coming. Bad news this is a 400 ft par three that just looks like you got to shot throw a hyzer and hope it skips. Um so unlikely to birdie this one but there is a 400 ft par four on the back. >> There we go that >> could be an eagle >> eagle opportunity. Uh but let's just try to get the birdie here. Bang. >> [groaning] >> I just want to throw one good shot I want to throw one shot where I'm like I'm proud of that one it hasn't happened yet. Seven tee shots not a single one has went where I wanted. Not what I tried to do. Hit something. All right it's going to be up and down at least. >> Okay. >> Got Tyler here. Just got to get up and down. Just got to get up and down and trust that we can birdie the next few holes. We've been saying that since hole one but that's all right it'll be true eventually. I love that love that okay green light green light. Ooh love the attempt. >> Okay even through seven. Not the start we wanted. Hole eight water's OB 297 ft sitting right out there. I like to think we can get this one. We'll go M4 play a little backhand turnover. The hyzer I think I'm just going to be messing with those trees too much. So, this should take all that out of play. Hunter? I mean >> [laughter] >> This is terrible. This is absolutely terrible. This is the worst disc golf I might have ever played. I think I'm just going to go straight at it. I like that. Get lucky. Yeah. Stay stay stay stay stay stay stay. Oh, no. >> Another really long putt, but >> Okay, we got to make one eventually. This is what you would call a must make. I would agree. It's okay. It's okay. It's my turn to contribute. >> [laughter] >> This is this is this is terrible. >> to go nine for the last 10. So, we're at This is what it is. >> Back's against the wall. >> I like this one. I like our chances here. 300-ft par three. Just aim for. I know what it does after that last hole. Get under something. Somehow. Yes. >> Oh my. No. I think that's a closer putt than we think. >> I hope so cuz that looks so short and I can't handle that. Oh, that looks fantastic. Okay, let's just hope mine's close. >> 300 ft then like Mine's got to be close. Mine's got to be close. Our best birdie looks since hole one. Oh, no. Please. Oh, no. No pressure. >> It's okay. I got I got No pressure. Oh my god. Even on the front nine. Got it. Got to go perfect. Well, there is still a chance for an eagle. There's a par four. >> And there's ace chances. >> There's always ace chances. All right, we got a 370-ft uh heiser skip shot. This is the longest hole left until the longest par three until the final hole. So, we've got We I mean we got to go nine for nine, but we've got to get this one. Because once we get this one then then we get to breathe a little bit. Be the number. I don't know like how far around the bend it got. >> We're We're like 80 90 out. Yeah, it hit that. I had to get farther straight before skipping. Nope. Too far. All right. We got to just make it a 90-footer. What? All right. Oh my goodness. That was such a good bid. There's still an eagle out there and there's still aces. >> got to just do something incredible at this point. If we don't start birdying, we're going to have to change something. Bad news. Worse news. You Disc had this one in the 230 pin which is that straight one. And it's in the 350 pin. Which is way around the corner there. So, we've got Take Take the hand we're dealt, but not what we thought we were signing up for. The old trusty here. Oh my goodness. I might light my whole bag on fire. Be the one. Oh, that looks great. Oh, it's got to be close. It has to be, right? >> It's got to be a birdie. Surely. I mean it was a perfect shot. It just turned out the hole was a lot farther back here than we thought. All right. I just want to at least hit metal. Like I just That would be good. Oh my gosh. >> Did you like that? >> Perfectly threw that into my bag. That was sick. That was a highlight of the round. >> thing I've done all day. [laughter] That was important. I think it's safe to say we've missed the line. I think I can finally call it. On the tee of hole 12 at even. >> It would take a miracle. So, we deserve to be punished for how bad we've played. So, this is my proposal. From here there are seven more holes, 12 through 18. I think every hole we don't birdie is one more disc we have to give up. Oh my goodness. >> Combined. So, there's a potential of seven. Okay. We both have ones. That'd be nine total discs if we missed every hole remaining. If we somehow do that, so that'd be one of us has to give up five, one of us has to give up four. Okay. >> miss every hole. But like this one's 180. Yeah, it's only 180. So, we're going to start making birdies. You You don't have to agree to it. >> No, I I'm I'm all with it. >> Okay. I'm just thinking like now I'm going to lose even more discs. >> No, no, no. It just We'll probably We just got to wake up. We've got to wake up. Cuz now everything Before it was like okay, we're just going to sell one disc, whatever. 180 par three. If we ace, it gives us back a disc. >> Well, if we ace, we're technically still we could be online to get >> now have to ace twice though. No, there's still the eagle. Oh, I got a little backspin. I think we're going to like that. >> [applause] >> I think we're going to like that. All right. Hey, ham and egg. There we go. This is what we need. We got like a 15-footer. Second birdie of the day coming. Oh my goodness. >> Okay. >> Aaron stuck right to my hand. >> Look at where it ended up, too. That's beautiful. There we go. That was a good putt. >> That was good putt. That was confident putt. >> honest with you, this is the first bad hole we've seen. This is a This is a bad one. It >> The angle on that tee sign is not accurate at all. >> like right here, but the fairway does that. It's a U-turn. So, we got to We got to throw like stall forehand high almost. I I didn't do it. Come on. Yeah, that's like 150 ft out. >> I don't I unfortunately I don't really know what to tell you to do. >> I might try and go for like the skip. Yeah, you got to You have to beat that dead tree down there by like a considerable amount. All right. >> Yeah, it's going to be up and down. >> Yeah, we just got to get up and down. Maybe try to throw in. >> This point score doesn't matter. Birdies only do. So, just both of us are just going to run the crap out of this thing. If we don't birdie, we're just going to pick up. That just means one more disc is getting sold tonight. Do something for him. Oh, okay. Get lucky. Wow, no kick. >> That's another disc gone. >> 280 par three. Open field just tucked into the woods back there. I like our chances here. Come on, Aaron. I dropped. Yes. Yes. Great shot. >> Boo-ya. >> 375-ft par three here. Headwind, low ceiling. This is We did not know what we signed up for. I'll say. Back to passion. Instantly out of the bag. That's why they put that in because my old one got too flippy. And that thing I mean that's a roadrunner. Oh, it's too high. Oh boy. All right, we got to throw in from like 200 out. Oh. Pressure. We're up to four. Four discs. >> is just added insult to injury here. >> Hole 16. 289-ft par three. Wind and rain just adding to our day. I'm going to go with my trash panda canyon here. Just throw a backhand heiser give us a putt. That'll do. That's >> Or is it short? >> [laughter] >> Pretty short. Oh my goodness. All right, we just got to make a putt. We just got to make a putt. >> I've got about 30 ft. Be big. Right now we're only at two discs each. So, if we can make this and then birdie the last two, that'd be That's not too bad. The eagle the next one we get to get >> one back. Yeah. The next one's four like four something uphill, so love our chances there, but who knows. Oh. Hey, you didn't miss short. You didn't miss short. I was com- I was committing to that all the way. Mhm. No. So, we're at five discs total tonight. Golly. According to UDisc 392, according to the sign 430 uphill par four. Can't really see the basket. Play all the way up at the top of the hill. Oh, I turned it too much. Dang it. Oh, there it is. I I I think that's pretty bad. >> I was really trying to just get a nice little flex up over the trees. Nope, not high enough. Okay, well hopefully we have something for mine. >> end up not being so bad. We just got to like a straddle out forehand. The basket's behind that big tree up there. Don't roll. Okay. Good? I I mean it's a putt. That's terrible. Yeah. Okay, that wasn't it either. >> [laughter] >> Okay. We haven't made a single putt today. I don't think we've made a single putt. No, we've only Like the closest farthest putt we've made is like 15 ft. >> 46 par three. We have six discs on the table right now, three each. Uh so, this is for one of us to have to go to four. Watch out. You don't need to see it. >> [laughter] >> Oh. Okay. That tree kick was not very nice. So low. Hey, a lot I'm than mine. So, to throw in from there and then we're going to spin a wheel and see what we're giving away. >> I'm going to put this right under the basket. >> Well, why don't you put it in? It's par three. Well, either it goes in or goes under the basket. Okay. Kick off and go in. It tried. It did try. I mean, I think we're safe for par there, so if you just want to run it, you're you're all good. Skip. Mhm. All right, let's spin the wheel and see what seven discs I have. >> back Take me back to hole one. Yeah. I was I was so happy at hole one. I literally said we're going to shred this course. >> Well, first off, this course is freaking awesome. In the Dallas area, come down here and check it out. >> Very challenging. I played like an absolute doo-doo, so four discs are coming out of my bag, three discs out of Trevor Tyler's bag. Wow, that's a first. >> Same person. Um I'm I'm asking ChatGPT four random numbers. I have 22 discs in my bag. These are 1 2 3 4 and then 5 on. So, that's how that's going to work. Let's see what my four discs are. We have 5 9 14 and 21. So, 1 2 3 4 5 Dang. >> 6 7 8 Oh, no. >> [laughter] >> 9 10 11 12 13 Gosh, 14 >> the Thunderbird SS. 15 16 17 18 19 20 And the Chuck Away. I mean, that hit That literally was just a kill shot. [laughter] What was the worst four discs that that could have done? Like that is ridiculous. >> Oh my gosh. My Chuck Away, Destroyer, Seer, Thunderbird SS. This Zone has been in my bag for so long. Like that hurts a lot. That hurts a whole lot. And then luckily, this I got at the U-section. So, I thought it was really cool. I liked it a lot, but like All right, well, it can't be that bad, Tyler. That's for sure. I guess. Well, how many do you have? >> I have 19. 19, okay. 4 11 and 17. No, four's the Hammer. >> 1 2 3 [laughter] Just lost my Hammer. >> 4 Dang it. 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 >> Oh, I like that Wraith, too. What's happening? 12 13 14 15 16 17 >> Okay, I I have never even thrown that. I don't know what that is. I actually don't know what this is, but It's a Cicada. Oh, Robbie's Cicada. I'm most upset about this Hammer. >> That's bad. >> Dang it. >> That is probably the some of the worst six of the worst seven discs it could have done, I think. So, the Whatnot Show already happened, but if you want to check out our Whatnot, you can do so. Just Foundation Disc Golf on Whatnot, and we do random shows like this all the time. I really hope that these discs at least go for enough money that it softens the blow, cuz that hurts a lot. My game just got a lot worse, but okay. We'll see you in the next one.
