Advanced Disc Golf Backhand Footwork Tutorial | Beginner's Guide to Disc Golf
Advanced Disc Golf Backhand Footwork Tutorial | Beginner's Guide to Disc Golf Mastering the x-step in disc golf requires a solid foundation in footwork and timing. To get started, it's essential to have a well-formed stand still position, with feet positioned correctly and reach back timing established. The key to transitioning into the x-step is maintaining precise timing, as rushing into the next step can result in an uncoordinated upper and lower body. This video focuses on the lower half of the disc golf stance, covering footwork and timing techniques crucial for a smooth x-step execution. Viewers will learn from the Dan Berto drill, a training method that teaches form and technique, particularly focusing on the lower half of the stance. With this tutorial, beginners can improve their overall game by mastering the x-step, a fundamental component of disc golf backhand play.
