What is good, Foundation Nation? Welcome to the first monthly match of 2026. [music] I am still under the punishment from losing last year, so I'm still bagging just the MD3 for today's video. This is the one that'll really suck the most of the punishment because like this matters. Uh the punishment wheel is back this year. We're not debuting it today because we want your help filling it out. So, we're both in agreement on we're doing the punishment wheel and it's going to work the same way as last year. Every time you win is one slot you get to eliminate from the punishment wheel. Loser spins it and has to do whatever the punisher was. That's how I land on a one disc bag for a month. >> Means you're also in the unique situation where you have basically nothing to lose >> today. I have nothing to lose. So >> if I win today, it's just I steal one. If it land on the top, it's me. Bottom is you >> me. My >> I would say it's helpful that the great equalizer day is it's the conditions suck. >> Very cold, windy. But it also might even hurt Hunter more cuz you won't be able to throw that disc as far as you normally could. >> Oh, it's also windy and I only have one option also. >> Yeah, it's like 20° out here. >> Dang. I thought it was more for you. >> It's good throw. >> That's fine. I I can I can throw you from there. >> Or proto here. >> Proto. >> This is a prototype cornerstone. There you go. That feels >> like Trevor, don't sound so excited, man. >> What the freak, dude? >> THIS PROTOTYPE CORNERSTONE. >> I'M LOCKED IN. >> Hey guys, just cornerstone. >> Well, this isn't the announcement. This isn't the announcement. >> This is the first time it's been said in our YouTube channel. Come on, man. >> Guess I stole the show, huh? >> Oh, it's >> Oh, it's clean. >> The disc is just too good. Even with Trevor's negative energy. >> Oh my gosh, it's parked. That's the cornerstone. >> There it is. >> That should do. >> Hey, that's a good start. >> I'M CORNERSTONE. two here. By the way, just want to say if you're looking where do I find that cool cornerstone? Where do I find uh other cool disc drops that Foundation does. Well, we're not just a YouTube channel. We actually have a website. You can always check it out. The link in our description, foundationis.com. We do awesome drops there, but we also have a ton of stock stuff, apparel, gear, everything for your disc golf needs. So, make sure to check out all of our stuff there. Link is always in the description. Number two, I like to go kind of like a you can almost just play a straight hiser here. Overstable disc. It's a lot more buriable than it used to be. >> Probably go MD3 here. >> Yeah, >> I think. Ah, yeah. Probably >> going to go P2. I can hardly press it in because it's so cold. Okay, skip. That's a long putt. Not Not great. >> Oo, what a fun line. MISSED SOME STUFF. >> OH, THAT WOULD THAT WOULD have been sick. Yeah, that leaves something to be desired. >> And we got our first putt of the day. Oh, I didn't turn it. Good. Good. I got to remember like this putter I have to put Annie on it. The proxies I could throw flat and they would turn. Not these. I got to actually hydrate. Hole number three. Tight one. 259 downhill. Very slippery. I think I'm going to go shaman here and try and thread the needle. This is >> one of those cold colds where like I'm not going to warm up from this until maybe tomorrow. >> Yeah, >> maybe. >> It's going to be what you you get I'll get home from days like this and I'll still be like I'll be in the heat for an hour and I'll still be cold to the bones. >> I'll be like in sweatpants and sweatshirts sitting on my couch under a blanket tonight. That's just going to be me. >> It's not going to flip. Um, kind of pushed off that branch a little. That's not awful, but that is a scary up and down. >> This could be smooth. Oh, that could be great. >> That's smooth, >> bad log, >> dude. I thought that was going to skip onto the basket. >> This hole was so hard. If you don't get to the pin like I now have this like windy gap, jump putt, death putt layup. >> I'm going to try and go up the middle and flex it. >> Got to flex it, Tro. Yeah, I got it. I just got to hit this gap. Realistically, it's a hard shot. >> You did flex. >> Get down. Hit something. >> Oh, >> I think it got wind boosted. >> Yeah, it's not great, but it could have been worse. I think I'm going to try a little scubber. Get it down and let it slide. Like with this wind, you don't want to be showing the flight plate up in the air off the ground. >> What's wrong, man? You're emotional. Are you emotional about this shot? >> It's just the wind, dude. Make me cry. >> Wow. Wow. Sick. >> OH. >> OH, >> THAT'S NOT BAD. That would have been that was close. >> I'm not mad that I got that chain height. Just misamed there. >> He's not mad. >> Oh. >> Oh boy. >> This is where the punishment is. Like off the tea, I don't think I'm really going to be that much worse. >> Yeah. >> Putting in this condition. >> Nice cold premium putter. Like it just doesn't inspire confidence. And by putter, I mean mid-range. >> Yeah. I mean, >> oh no, >> it's hopeless out here. Well, is there a skunk rule in play for the monthly matches? Oh, >> that would have been nice for both of us, you know, just like, okay, well, 100 lost, but we also only played nine holes. >> Hole four says 213. Personally, I think it's a little further than that. Left to right kind of tight gap going bair. Trying to turn it over. Oh, I didn't turn it. Hit the line. Didn't turn it. Uh, that's up there. Another sketchy layup incoming. >> Oh, that's inside. But it flexes. >> If it keeps flexing. >> Well, >> oh, >> I mean, that's >> okay. >> That's down there somewhere. >> Not the gap I was going for. Was the flight I was going for. >> Another sketchy jump up. >> Oh, that looks better. Okay, there we go. That was much better. >> Have you always said jump up? >> A jump up? I don't always say that. Oh, okay. Yeah, >> I just noticed it. >> Nope. >> It's going to be >> I think I got to spin it because a spin putt with a mid-range, you're just asking for big comebacks. >> But I think like if I want any hope, >> I got a spin putt. >> Just want to give a quick shout out to the sponsor of today's video, Vessie. Shout out the Vandals. And And by shout out, I mean shout down. >> 550. Yeah. I'm going to try to get out the gap. I'm going to get a little aggressive here. A stalker. Try and shoot the gap. >> Okay, hunt. The world is your oyster. >> That's the worst place you could ever be on. >> Yeah, it's like a pitch out of the fairway. >> The worst thing is like if I can make it back to the fairway, it only cost me a three. Literally can't. >> Yes, you could. >> MD3. >> I think you could. I You'd have to pump this first shot. >> Chip shot. I'm trying to say. >> Well, then no. No. Not with that. You cannot. >> No. Wind feels nice right now. It dies. >> No. >> Okay. >> I thought I was going to go >> still looking for his. I'm going to throw mine and go help him. I'm going to try to chuck this and hopefully miss some trees. >> Oh. >> All right. >> Yeah. >> Wow. That was big. >> That was amazing. >> Oh gosh. Keep going. Oh, never mind. >> That's yikesville. He did. >> Yeah, that's a good shot. >> That's a good shot right there. >> I like that line. I like the line a lot. >> So, we'll see where that ends up. >> Okay, I think I thrown it well. A little short, maybe. I think it's a lot. >> Stay a little left. >> Okay. >> OH. >> OH. [screaming] OH, LET'S GO, HUNTER. >> Sick par. All right, Hunter's only back one. Don't click. Don't click away. >> Come back. >> All right, soak it up. We don't know how many times I'll have the tea, but I have it now. 360 par three. >> Maybe this is what we need is you throwing a mid-range for somebody to Nobody's birdied. This is from our channel. >> No way. Oh my gosh. Uh, it's probably not high enough. >> Oh, I hit a tree. I think I'm going to be parked. >> Yeah, [laughter] >> I think I >> But I mean, I think I can it. I'm happy there. That's a good shot. Going right back to the cornerstone with that first hole line. Like I just little baby turn. >> Maybe that's why we just haven't had this disc on this hole yet. >> Oh, it turned it. >> Get up there. >> Oh, good. Great. >> Oh, that's a >> very short. Probably just a layup for par, but I'll take the >> uh oh, hit a house. >> Hit the brakes. >> That went back there into the casino. >> I choose to have faith and that's going to be close. Just another layup and then see if Hunter rolled. >> No, Hunter ran his. Come on. >> He did not. >> I mean, Bo Nicks >> put his body on the line for your fan base and you're going to lay up. >> Using his name in vain. >> Yeah, you literally have his hat on. >> Using his name in vain. I'm saying he is a he is a man of honor. >> He went through all of that and you just laid up for him. >> That's what he would have wanted. >> Yeah. >> Yeah, baby. >> No problem. That hurt so bad. That was such a bad idea. >> 255 ft par 3. It plays longer than 255, but it is what it is. Um I'm going go backhand. I think missed that tree. Dang it. That the kicks on this hole are brutal. If you can go all like tree clean, like you don't hit anything, you're guaranteed to be up there. But the second you hit a tree, you just kick all the way back down the hill. So now I have like another 200 in. I don't really think the forehand is the wise play for me, but for some reason I want to throw it. So, I'm gonna throw a forehand. >> Oh, no. >> That makes sense now. >> You understand why I said what I said? Makes no sense. I hadn't thrown a forehand all day. I'm not good at forehands. It's just a simple backhand. I was like, let's do it. >> Sometimes you just got to live. >> It's like that movie Venom where the voices in his head. Venom bomb. Venom. >> That's what was happen. >> I hate this. Oh, I did it. Okay, I'm happy with that. >> Try try and push it over. Come on. >> It might hit me. >> No, it won't. Ah, >> cuz it reverberates. >> Got an interesting one here cuz I have like a [snorts] low shot or the forehand. This little tree is in the way. So to avoid all that, I'm going to go little hammer high. Pan for me. Oh no. >> Oh no. >> That's the danger of the hammer is if you don't if you That thing was burnt. >> If I went right here instead, great. But since I went here, it roll. This is an opportunity where I could tie it up. So, I got to spin it. >> Okay, >> that is what's called being a weak baby little boy. >> I'm not hitting. So, as much as that's pathetic, like I guess it's a new pathetic and that's fun. If you're going to be pathetic at disc golf, keep it fresh. Try new things. Maybe don't hit cage. Maybe air ball it right from 20 ft. You know, you got to keep >> got to keep yourself on your toes cuz it'll get stale. >> Okay. Just making bogeies and uh that's how we're going to roll. >> 560 par five. Uh it's going to be a tricky one for me. Got to get a few good shots down there. >> Pretty good. >> That's a good one. >> Get good ground. >> Yeah, good rip. >> I'm happy with that. Didn't >> roll away. Okay, I got a new ether. Shout out Graham. This one should be more stable than my other one. >> You got to write an N on it and put Nether. >> Oh, we're going to the Nether. >> That's good. Yeah, it is much more stable. >> That's nice. >> Oh, that's >> up and down. Is it going to be that long? >> Yeah, that's good. I have a chance to get up and down birdie. >> I feel like if I miss the two big trees and get into the initial gap of the woods, I should be okay. But if I don't, I'm going to blame it on Hunter's magical powers and leave it at that. >> Yeah, he's he's blocking you right now. He just put a spell on you. >> This whole there's literally no point in taking the long way. Cuz if you get into the woods like that, it's pretty easy to get up and down for birdie. You go up to the corner, even with a perfect shot, it's not easy. Okay, that's what we're looking for. All right. All right. Magic. See what I mean? That's an eagle. >> This spell didn't work. >> You got You got to jump up for eagle. >> That's a Yeah, that's an eagle putt. Like there, this hole is broken. If it's during this time of year, you just chuck it in there. Easy. >> He used the wrong spell. >> It's up. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Oh boy. >> Roll, please. Somehow. >> What's funny about this hole is like it almost feels like it's two holes [snorts] that'd be fine. Like if this was a par three that played to this green, it'd be kind of a cool par three. >> Yeah. >> They just they don't combine. Oh. Oh. >> Mission success. >> Hole nine is a short, somewhat tight par4. You're looking to move something right off the tea. Uh, it is eagleable. You can get an eagle. Basket finishes in a spider tree. You don't want to kick down low. >> Spider tree. Spider tree. >> Exactly like that. I'm going to go stalker. Just have to get it moving right. >> Oh, I like that a lot. Miss the trees. >> Yeah. Oh, that that to me is pretty tasty. We'll see. >> I'm going to go MD3 to this spider tree. I'm going eagle it with this. >> Yeah, >> I think you can do it. >> Turn. >> Not over until that doesn't go in. Eagle hopes are not dead yet. Just on life support. >> This could be something. It's not quite enough stability. Really good shot, though. >> I mean, I'll have a bird. I'll look >> whatever's drive, which sucks cuz that's his like his favorite stalker. Uh, is gone. Look and look for it. It must have got buried. He's going back to rete. We're going to stay down here to watch the second one come in. If nothing else, it might actually give us an idea where the first one is. Obviously, PDGA rules wise, if we find it, he can't play it. But our rules, we always go like if we find it, he'll end up playing it. No sign of it yet. So, uh, he'll be throwing in here shortly. That stalker, like he's had that in his bag a long time. His wife signed it when she was like his girlfriend. >> Wow. or fiance. >> Oh, that's sentimental. >> Yeah. So, obviously we want to find that disc. >> No idea. Once it gets over this hill, you just see it. >> Uh, okay. That >> that's in there. >> Yeah, that's in the water. >> So, we'll at least be able to ask him how that was definitely farther uh left than his first one. But we can at least ask like distance-wise what he felt. Like we said, you throw a second one, you learn where the first one is. We found it. It just must have k negated all that. >> I had a realization as I was looking for that disc being like, I might have to get that out of my bag cuz like >> that's what I was telling him. his wife signed it when she was like your fiance or girlfriend. >> I don't even know. But like before we were married. So like it it is very sentimental to me. It is also like a beat in stalker which I mean I've had that for a long time. Takes a long time. So I might have to try to replace it cuz that that I was hurt. I was hurt. Oh that might that need to hit something or go in. >> Oh the triple. I was looking for like a one two three there. >> Little pinball situation. >> Oh there it goes. Yeah. I did hit the back. >> There it is. >> Onto the back nine. Always feels like getting out of jail because it is much more open. I will say I think I surviving the worst getting out of there and regaining my lead was big because this is where Hunter could do the most damage to me. I would think cuz it's a lot more open so he'll be more exposed to the wind on the back nine. It's a lot more scorable which like could he he'll be fine on some holes. It's just other ones where like you like to have a driver. They're a little bit further shot. So, I feel like I should be able to hold my own back here because I'd only anticipate making money bogeies. Uh, but we'll see. We'll see. Got to get the job done this one. It's just 260 straight ahead down the hill. Got to make sure we don't fade it early. I'm going to go stalker just cuz I could get there the mid, but in the cold I just don't really trust myself throwing very far, right? Oh, I love this. I love this. Be the right distance. Oh, just behind it. >> It shot them. All right, that's the lineup. >> Oh, that's very straight. >> Oh, bad tree, too. >> That's three. You may not feel bad. >> You went to You went to fluff town. >> You went to That was fluff town. >> That was fluff town. >> Someone get me a pacifier. >> Dang it. Hanging basket. I don't really think I think the MD3 will do just fine on this whole. Uh, pretty short one. Just going to go KC AVR. Little light turnover here. >> Well, that's a more of a run. Just a little short though. >> Unfortunately, not four strokes on the back can be very tough. >> You have You have to go create. You got to score cuz like I'm not going to bogey more than likely. Maybe once. >> There you go. Oh, no. Oh, I >> turned it too much. >> Wow, that thing really >> She's really getting flippy. I am throwing it a lot. Hey, >> there it is. >> Oh, >> hole number 12. Downhill, right to left. Kind of been trashing this hole lately. We're going to go cash. >> Yeah, I like this. >> Oh, that's left. >> Yeah. See? Oh, yeah. I landed right in front of it. Maybe skipped about 20 ft left. >> I'll say not anse Vessie jackets, they is an ad. Yeah, it is. >> Well, no, no, because I don't want it to be an ad read. I want this to be my my personal opinion. >> And these these hold up to the wind great >> as an outer layer. It is doing work. Yeah, I'm I'm very comfy. >> Not as bad as >> or gain one. >> Sure. At least got >> What was that bounce? They jump like >> the balance and the wind. >> It sounded like it hit a rock. >> Oh boy. Oh boy. >> Sit down. >> There you go. >> 300 ft. It's wide open. I like to go forehand here with my ether. >> Go get it. >> Yeah, I'm going to drive. >> Go out there and get it, big dog. Get yours. I didn't flip it enough. Dig, dig, dig, dig, dig, dig, dig. Dig hard. >> All right, it's a putt. Oh no. >> Early release. >> Oh, >> he's dropped for your sake. >> Oh, there it goes. >> Oh, he's back in Fluff Town. >> All right. Well, I'll be over on the road. >> Tyler treasure. >> Maybe treasure. >> Treasure. He's good with money. Treasure of Fluff Town. >> Yeah, treasure. >> Oh, yay. >> Oh, >> over correction. >> Six in a row, baby. >> Incredible resolve. It's I absolutely hate it. [laughter] down. >> Skip one off of there. Oh, Hunter. Hunter. >> Wow, that was fun. >> Oh, he got metal. >> Oh. Oh, >> no problem. >> He's got vesties, though. >> Got to give a major shout out to my man Maddox from Florida. Just met him at the conference. He brought my disc back from the dead. Lost this at Olympus months ago in September [snorts] and he had it for me. Max, if you haven't DM'd me yet, DM me. I'm going to send you some stuff just as good as it always was. And we're going to birdie with it right here up the hill. Nope. Answer is too much wind. >> Oh, Maddox, we might need you. We might need you back. >> You dropped. >> I smashed that. I just That is too much wind for that disc. >> Oh, let's see how this turns out. Oh, stay in the air for him. >> And by that, I mean the headwind flipped her. >> The headwind was legit there. Oh, that's dotted up. Ah. >> A >> dang. If you haven't been watching the last few weeks or months, we now we play this hole from a fake teapad on the edge of the hill so you guys can actually see the basket. It doesn't really change the shot that much, >> but if you ace, we'll just be able to see. >> Yeah, you actually can see what happens. So, you want cash? Try to poke it down there. >> Not that much better. >> Right. Drop curl. H. It's probably three. Not very exciting. >> Oh, it did. Drop tree branch. Better tree branch. >> Oh, okay. >> Oh gosh. >> Into the shed. >> Oh, that would have been so funny. >> Under the shed. >> From my angle, I couldn't see it anymore. I just thought he got slotted of doom. >> If I would have got slotted doom there been hilarious a >> really I'm okay with that effort. >> 245T par 3 OB road >> OB road it all the way up. >> Well, come on. >> I touched in. We all saw it. >> It did touch in. We saw it. >> Touch and touched in. I have a long putt for three. >> Oh, that's that's a cop out though. >> Yeah, it's so much better. Oh, that was >> Wow. Way that thing kicked off. That That was the old me there. That was Come November, you're not going to see that. >> Guys, we're filming this on Tuesday, January 20th. Okay, so you'll already know what happened snowwise because as of right now, like weathermen are saying that we're going to get in Lynchburg, which I've lived here my whole life, we got 18 in of snow once, and that was like a multiple day snowstorm. They're predicting we're going to get between like 21 and 30 in of snow. Like pretty much every source you look at, >> we could build igloos. >> Let's lock in. Like they're saying like literally Saturday overnight is going to dump over a foot of snow. After it dumps some on Saturday and then another like five to eight inches on Sunday, it's like 30 inches of snow. Nothing's getting >> it would be the most snow in in history of Lynchburg. Nothing. >> So what are our official predictions? >> Cuz we're filming this a week in advance. >> I'm saying entire weekend total. >> Entire weekend total. >> Eight. >> Eight inches. [sighs] >> I'd give a solid 12. >> Going for the foot. Yeah, like that. >> I'm going to say we get two inches. I'm going to say that. I'm going to say it misses us. I'm going say stay there. I'm stay there. >> We actually get like 2 feet of snow. Like >> we're pretty far out. We're pretty far out. >> We're five days out right now. I'll be flying back from Dis East on Sunday. And if we get 30 in of snow, I might not see my family for 2 weeks with the Lynburg airport. >> So, you're going have to drive. You could snowmobile all the way here. >> Yeah. I'd train. >> Oh, train would be a good option. >> Boston to Lynburg. >> Trains might be one of the most snowproof things, correct? If >> I'm wrong, >> I don't know. I don't know, but they are. Yeah, >> we'll see. Let me read you. I asked Chad GPT >> because I thought it'd be funny. And so Chad GBT first off said official weather service blah blah blah slight chance. Basically, it's saying where is this bottom line mostly? >> It says the bottom line in an email. That's chat. >> Mostly a light snow event with showers possible, couple of inches at most. And then I said, "Yeah, but what about Saturday night?" Cuz I thought maybe it was only asking Sunday. And it said, "Here's the latest, most credible source. Saturday night, rain and snow mix. Slight chance of rain changing to snow. Slight chance, not a big snow event. 30% chance of snow. Likely minimal, less than 1 in. >> What What's their source though? >> They're claiming the Weather Channel. But if I go to weather.com, it claims over a foot on Saturday night." And so then I said, um, I said, "I think you're on drugs." And it said, "Fair enough. Let me reset this cleanly. Short answer, if any source is showing 20 to 30 ines in Lynchburg, that source is either aggregating multiple days incorrectly or showing a single extreme model outlier or flatout bugged. Here's a grounded nononsense breakdown. What would have to happen is, and then it goes on and on. None of this is happening right now. If it were real, uh, schools would already be cancelled. Virginia would already be doing this. They're not. What actually lines up, there might be some precipitation. Best case scenario, light snow accumulation most likely is mix or very light snow. Realistic range. This is Chad GBT. Nothing to one inch. Absolute stretch case. Two to three inches. Even that would be notable. So, I'm riding with everything's wrong. >> I'm riding with Chad. >> Chad is saying screw everyone. None of that's true. The Weathermen on Facebook are liars. Two to three in. And that's what I'm standing with. All right. 300 foot bar four. >> M3. >> M3. >> That's something. >> Oh, don't want to go into the right woods. I really don't like it over there. It really wrecks my vibe. >> There we go. That >> Yeah, >> that's great. >> That was actually solid. Same logic. >> Oh, baby. >> Oh, go behind those. That's one way to do it, I guess. >> Oh my. What the heck? Hey. >> Oh. >> Oh, he made it. >> Did you see that? >> That was sick. >> Last hole. You know, it's doing the thing. I'm going to go max aura cuz it's fun. And [snorts] I haven't really got to see it fly well yet cuz I keep chucking it in the ground. Let's see if I can break the cycle. That's cool. Keep throwing it in the ground. I'm sorry, Conor. Yeah. Boom. A good branch. It looks like the wind's helping it, but it's probably just stalling. >> That went That went nowhere. >> It's out there. That'd be serious wind. Wow. Jeez, that wind is serious business. >> Oh. Hunter, >> I was trying to do a flat turn. >> Oh, the wind is pushing it. >> That's pretty good. >> That's going to be a putt. >> Watch this. All right. >> Oh, I'm watching. >> Also, you might be in danger. I'm not going to throw. I'll I'll keep my head on a swivel. Can't air bounce it. >> Oh, heads up. >> Oh, heads up, Trev. He's going to shoot you now. Woohoo. [cheering] Well, that's that. Um, I mean, you know, I'm I'm glad that I won that because that was basically a freebie. Um, you know, maybe that makes up for the fact that the one of the matches last year I was like deathly ill. So, maybe that's a trade-off, but you know, that was the punishment. He didn't take it off the wheel and and, you know, gives me a one match head start, which I'm happy about. So, we'll see what happens next month. Remember, comment down below suggestions for the wheel. We should have that wheel as long as we remember uh next month to reveal to you. Thanks for watching. See you next time.
