Gentlemen, congratulations and welcome to the final round of the Imposter Disc Golf reality series presented by Discmania. If you're looking for rounds 1 through 4, you're in the wrong place. Look at the playlist over there, check those out to avoid all the spoilers. Let's get into it. Previously on Imposter Disc Golf. At least one of you will become an Imposter. I don't know, Gary. Interesting choice, in my opinion. Oh my goodness. You're an assistant to the Imposter. >> I just want to go back home and tell my family they got what they deserved. Am I supposed to be nervous right now? If anybody was trying to be an [music] ultimate deceiver in this game, it would be Robbie C. >> I am going to let you watch some footage. All of what I'm going to give you this week is actually a bit of information. >> We all need to go give Robbie C a hug cuz there's still an Imposter. >> So, it's one of you three, BUT THEN YOU'RE SAYING THERE'S NO WAY IT'S TWO. SO, IT'S ONE OF YOU TWO. I DON'T KNOW. THAT'S ridiculous advice. My advice was crazy? I wouldn't be very transparent. >> Have you Have you been transparent with these guys? Carlos knows that you were going to vote him out. Carlos knows that you told Carlos that he told you we're voting Grant and we're voting you. >> a little toxic. >> can act really well. >> The Imposter team was decided by Will. >> So, yeah, man. It wouldn't matter if Trevor was [music] a back-to-back Imposter. >> Player going home today is I actually have no idea who the Imposter is. So, I think it's going to be a fantastic finale. I can't wait to find out. Today, we're out at Independence Park. Your pot currently sits at $3,900. Since you have missed two lines in a row, the Imposter is playing for $900 today. Let's get into this thing. How we're going to do this is we're doing rotating singles set order. You'll be playing short tees. Basically, what will happen is whoever takes the tee will play the entire hole. Let's say this is your order. J Milly would have hole one, Carlos two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. That's how it goes all the way through the entire course. Your goal to win today is two over par. You can start strategizing. >> You said the Imposter is playing for $900 today. The Imposter is playing for $900 today. Does that mean the Imposter is still here? That is a fantastic question. I will reiterate what I've told J Milly. An Imposter has been eliminated. The Imposter team is still alive. As of today, the Imposter team is still alive. Okay. I'm going to do it. >> I'm starting to think that does not mean what we think it is. >> Yeah, same. >> Yeah, guys. This is it. This is it. From the beginning, as soon as they told me this, I [music] was going to split the money with you guys the entire time at the end. They came to me with an offer. They offered me the role [music] of assistant to the Imposter. >> You're an assistant to the Imposter. My goal from the start was to try [music] to not play it like that at all. I wanted for everybody to win together and be a team. That's why I was crashing out the last two days cuz I didn't [music] want the Imposter to win. I wanted us to win as a team. That's part of the reason I was breaking down the other day after we voted out Robbie >> [music] >> was cuz I was just dealing with the stress of this secret that I've been holding onto this entire time. >> What the role involved was anytime the line was missed, I gained $150 but separate from the pot. It's just separate money. So, I could do what whatever I wanted with that money. I could have kept my mouth shut just now and kept the $450. So, I'm going to throw in that $450 back into the pot for everybody so that we can divide it amongst ourselves. Okay. >> Well, respect, Carlos. >> So, I think from the beginning when you said that it was a team team Imposter, I had a feeling that it could have been one Imposter So, we voted out Brody and Robbie and they weren't even the Imposter. >> Well, We don't know that. The thing is yeah, the thing is I wasn't sure if if it meant it was me as the part of the team. No, they were not. Neither of them were the Imposter. It was Gary. >> It was Gary. It was only Gary. >> [laughter] >> Brody Brody was being so for real. Oh, no. Obviously, I don't like the fact that you [music] weren't stealing money from the pot and I don't think you were intentionally playing bad. I could care less about the assistant thing because I don't Yeah, I don't think [music] that you really played into it and obviously Now, we could have used that information to save some lives. So, >> [laughter] >> so that's a little interesting. So, here's here's why I played it the way that I did. I felt like if I opened my mouth and gave this information early, I'd have a target on my back way sooner than I have. >> Listen, man. You don't have to That's fair to Brody and Robbie because they would have both been here, right? >> I'm not going to confirm a word I'm not going to confirm a word Carlos has said. Well, he's not It hypothetically, if this role were to be in the game, would it matter if this role was at the end? >> I'm not going to confirm a word that's been said cuz that's up to y'all. I'm not >> Okay. Yeah, I trust you. I'm I'm not worried. >> think they would do that. What I will say is we have our hands full with this line, so that's all I'm going to worry about. I mean, hey. Honestly, when he said the Imposter team thing, I was really annoyed that we like somebody was But like is that Is that So, listen. If if we miss the line now, we just lose $900. It doesn't go to an Imposter. It's just we just >> Well, apparently, you you stand to make another $150. And and I'll split it. I've kind of compiled the holes and selected an order that I think is a good strategy. It's always hard until you get in these things. Like, I know this course pretty well though. So, I'm going to take hole one. Grant's going to take hole two. Carlos is going to take hole three. And Josh is going to take hole four. Those are our orders. Our master list. >> Is it perfect? Probably impossible to make it perfect, but I think there's at least some rational brain thought that went into it and that's the best we can do. Hit the line on three. 1 2 3. NOW, LET ME INTRODUCE YOUR TWIST. OH. SO, this is the Trash Panda recycled shot. Shout out to Jesse and Trash Panda for making this happen. >> [applause] >> Basically, each of you are going to get one opportunity to use a Trash Panda recycled shot. What that allows you to do is once you throw a shot, you can declare it trash and get to rethrow again. Here's a more fun addition to the twist. If that recycled shot leads to a birdie, $150 gets added back INTO THE POT. THIS GIVES THE TEAM THE opportunity to add $600 back into the pot. >> $900 is more than $600. So, realistically, what we need to be using it for is if anytime somebody throws OB or a tee shot that's going to be like an auto bogey because there it's going to be really easy for me to tell after a tee shot if you're taking an auto bogey. >> Yeah. If anybody says that shot is trash, they have to use it. Thanks again to Trash Panda for the recycled shot opportunity. Head over to foundationdisc.com and check out the full Trash Panda collection in stock right now. Hole one. One of the best chances for birdie straight across the water perched up. Late in form. Hit the line. First Brooksie ace. Oh, wow. That's pretty far. Sick. Kind of off the show moment cuz I want to give the audience a little more context. Um unfortunately, on the first tee there, there were two show rules that were broken. Um show rule number one was given to the entire cast beforehand. Everyone agreed to it. You cannot promise to share money. It ruins the show. >> [music] >> Um and show rule number two was given to Carlos twice that he was not allowed to reveal his role as the assistant Imposter. I asked you don't reveal this role to anyone else so that no one will know. We literally been talking about this for like 10 minutes because I don't know what to do. Um but the reality is Carlos cheated >> [music] >> twice right then and there. I don't think it was intentional. He was under a lot of pressure. If I was in his shoes, I would have done the same thing. You know what [music] I mean? Like, they just found out the Imposter team is still there. It is what it is. Unfortunately, we have to uphold the rules of the show. We're going to allow Carlos to keep the $450 he's earned, but I'm going to walk up there and kick him off the the [music] show for the rest of the round due to due to cheating on the first tee. I What sucks about it is I think that the integrity of this show, like they kind of had already made the decision it was going to be fine [music] either way. But in our shoes, I have to worry about the integrity of the first future seasons. And again, I want to make explicitly clear I'm not questioning the integrity of Carlos. I'm not questioning Carlos as a person. I think he's [music] I think honestly his integrity is why he did what he did on the first tee. I think because he's such a good guy, he did it. This show sucks [music] for a lot of people and I get that and it sucks for me right now. You know, this is I guess the payback for what I put everyone through this week. So, but I have to protect this show going forward if I want the show to be able to exist, which I do and hopefully you do too. >> [music] >> So, I'm going to walk up and tell him. Guys, um here's the reality. Yeah. Unfortunately, [music] two rules were broken on the first tee by Carlos. Unfortunately, couldn't promise to share money. That was a rule with everyone. Uh >> [music] >> and we asked him to keep his role secret. So, we are going to have to remove you from the show. >> [music] >> I'm sorry. >> [music] >> On one hand, I feel really bad cuz [music] I wanted to finish strong and finish through the finish line with these guys. I think everything I did with I did with the best intentions. [music] One thing that doesn't come across for a lot of people when they watch this back is how much pressure [music] all the guys are in. It's not trusting certain people and having to make tough decisions. You know, having to make big putts or big throws. We're like emotionally [music] drained right now. And I think part of what happened was just me [music] having a mental lapse, just exhaustion. The information I got, I got on Monday, so I couldn't really remember like what [music] I could and couldn't do. flip side, the most important thing to me was I was just trying to be as honest I could be with these guys that I really [music] connected with and I was trying to do it with the best intentions. I'm rooting for these guys as much as I can. >> [music] >> Um I'm relieved to be kind of done with it all and I can go back home and relax and maybe not touch a disc for like about a week. But uh I am happy. Uh I had the best [music] time ever. I am sad to be going home early, but I understand why. All right. Unfortunately, we must take off Carlos's name, but we have switched me and Grant. >> know what holes I'm throwing. I don't think Grant does either, so let's try to hit this line. Mark. Mark. Mark. [applause] >> Come on, dude. Come on. You got to run that, dude. Get the vibes back up. 559 ft par four up the hill and then it goes into the woods left up there. Birdieable. Um and they have J Milly on this, which he has plenty of distance to get it. Okay. But hopefully it didn't go too far in. Well, you can make par from there. Lay up on one. tree hits on two. I wonder if the impossible still around. I need to go. Yep. Yep. Oh, yeah. We like that. Great start. Great start. Downhill about 300 ft. Perched up right there. Just It looks like a perfect Grant shot. If you've never seen one, this is a Grant just Heiser flip. We'll see now is his skill on Instagram all just VFX or can he actually play? Oh, yeah. I like it. That might go in. That might go in. Oh, IT'S JUST CRUSHED. OH! OH, IT'S A BIRDIE PUTT. THAT'S A BIRDIE PUTT. LET'S GO, GRANT. [laughter] YEAH! WOW! THAT'S THAT IS MONUMENTAL. That is so big. 295-ft par three here. Casual creek. Creek turns OB on the next hole, but here all safe. Yeah, is that par? A little long maybe? Oh, I pulled it. Yeah! 435-ft par four here. So, we're going to basically play a Heiser up to the left and then it's island green. So, the creek and beyond on the right is OB and then surrounded by water up There's There's a property line that makes the island way up on the hill. I've never seen someone have to deal with that. It's really just the water to deal with. So, Jay Milly take a just throw a decent pushing Heiser up there and then have a shot into the green. Birdie the hole. Oh. Uh-oh. Out of bounds. I think you're going to go ahead and say the word. That shot was trash. There you go. That's safe. Nope, not safe. Oh, safe. Just barely safe. The tree hit me. Trash Panda recycle shot has been activated again. Thanks so much to Trash Panda for giving them this opportunity to save that OB stroke and maybe make a birdie and add some more to the pot. Oh, is that par? Sit down. Uh-oh. That is in the splash. Is that OB? Yeah. Probably should have warned you. Oh, it's gone. Yeah, we got to use another. This is all trash. I'm wasting them all. Dang it, dude. 275-ft [snorts] par three assuming it's in the short. Par three either way though. This first shot really doesn't change because you can't birdie the long, you can't birdie the short. So, you just kind of want something either backhand or forehand that slowly gets to the right. Try to get close to the short and then you can jump putt up from there. Yes! Wow, that's an amazing shot. Grant is I'm going to go ahead and say it. Grant is the most underrated over looked player this series. I agree. People People keep thinking he's not capable of what he's capable of, which is great. Thanks. Well, it's cuz no one gave him a chance to throw any other shots. He's still got it. No way! I missed it. I'll take the Trash Panda mulligan. Say that shot was trash. Green 51-ft par three. Uh snakes up the fairway up to the top of the hill. To park it, it's a backhand. To play safe, it's a forehand. We'll see what Timothy's feeling. Look out, Josh. Look out, Josh. Look out, Josh. Look out, Josh. Oh, yeah. He looked out eventually. >> [laughter] >> This hole would appear to be in the long pin, which would be 350 to 370. Gettable, but a lot of OB. So, it depends on how aggressive they want to get. A Heiser flip up. I will say I predicted this spot on in the car, which is I gave them a a 900 rated line. Very easy for them to get and I told Connor as soon as I say the line, Trevor's going to mentally say it's up, which is exactly what's going on. So, props to us, Con. We're prop. Oh, that's That was a good line. We're using We're going to They have played out of order as you can tell Trevor's heated. We're going to just remove the last Trash Panda mulligan shot as a penalty. I think they're just trying to see can we make Hunter the bad guy? So far, yes. They're still fine cuz they're in the toughest part of the course right now. Once you get through hole nine, the back is extremely scorable. So, it's just can their head stay on to get them there or will the wheels fall off like we've seen before? 270 par three. Play straight down this corridor and then skips up to the left. Honestly, a gettable hole. Hole nine is difficult in the long, but so I revoke my statement. They're through the toughest part. They're now into the last nine very scorable. Confidence is all that matters here. Confidence. If you're going to hit a tree, hit it confidently. But if you're going to hit the gap, hit it confidently as well. That was It was very confident though. It's dropped in the spot you can get up and down from. For Carlos. Yeah. Let's go, Grant. There we go, Grant. I told you. This guy likes being 25 back. Don't put him inside 15. You especially don't elevate that basket. >> [laughter] >> But you put him there, G money. 295-ft par three dead straight down there built up green. Trevor's got the tee though and he's familiar with this hole. Very. Yes. Look out, Trev. Yeah, it trickled down. Should be like 20, 25. Let's go, Trevor. Come on, Trevor. More energy. More power. Speed. He doesn't respond well to positivity. You stink. Oh, he responds even worse than that. >> [laughter] >> Everything is fine. I'm neutral to you. 264-ft par three just down down to the left. Little more left than you think because it kind of cuts in a little early. But yeah, just a little Heiser let it float down there. You know what? I'm feeling an ace here. Jay Milly, he's got that energy. So, I'm going to say $500 for an ace back into the pot. REST OF THE COURSE. THERE WAS EVER A TIME. OH, YEAH. OH, YEAH. HECK, YES! Good birdie. There Based on how Hunter was acting and didn't claim to accept anything Carlos was saying. Not sure if we can trust all of that and the way that Trevor has felt a little bit today. He's just kind of been kind of down and like kept to himself. When I'm about to take a shot, I feel like I'm not getting much advice from him and he's the only one that knows the course. Me and Josh are playing completely blind. So, not really getting advice from him or hearing anything is a little sketchy cuz if he wants us to be playing our best, I I would think he would be helping us as much as he could be. It's definitely something I'm thinking about. we have a short par four here. There's trouble late. So, there's OB all on the right side when we get down there. It's basically I'm just getting lit by fire ants or something. Either just a straight backhand down the middle or if you want to try to throw the forehand get around the corner, you can try that as well. So, we'll see what Grant tries to go for here. But if you get a shot in position, it's just up and down. Could be a birdie. But you do have the OB to worry about more on the second shot. Come on! OH, THAT'S REALLY GOOD. THAT'S AMAZING. That's going to be great. Yep. That'll be just fine. Great shot. We are in the short here. 235-ish ft par three. It looks like an FD3 shot forehand. I just don't have the forehand for that. So, I'd probably up it to my PD2. Or what I've actually been enjoying recently is going with like a flipping mid. So, almost like an origin. Throwing it high up there on backhand letting it crash in. But if you have a good enough forehand, that's the play. But if you want to shop those discs and so many more, head over to foundationdisc.com and check out the full Discmania collection. And again, thank you so much to Discmania for making this series happen. Couldn't have done it without them. Oh, it might. I'm not going to lie to you guys. This round was supposed to be like very stress-free and then it got a little stressful for a second and then it got unstressful again. But like from basically the first basket, we've just been kind of chumming it up and like kind of walking this in. So, when I see Grant over here talking to Silas, not going to lie, my heart dropped a little bit because now I'm like what the heck is going on. And then not only that, but running that putt on the last hole when we didn't need to was kind of weird. And so, I'm like half and half. Like I don't even want to think it. I don't even want to think it. My guard went from zero to 36%. He also chucked that up shot almost OB. And he also did miss a tap in from about less than a foot earlier. So, it's like once you do one thing in this game, everything starts flooding back into your brain and I'm back where I didn't want to be in my not happy place. Two something. Par three right up there. Tunnel shot. Just follows the road. Come on. Give us the last birdie so we can start playing with the cars. Oh, no. Oh, boy. Unfortunately, I have seen this story before. Ours was a little bit I didn't like the ending. Yeah. Okay, we're we're out. All right, we'll find a birdie. We'll find a birdie. Hole 15, we've got left and right gaps you need to go like Vanessa's backhand. So, the left gap is wider to begin, gets tighter. Right gap, tighter to begin, gets wider. So, it really just depends on what you're more comfortable with. I typically like to go the forehand just because I like that shot more. So, I just throw something over there and let it hope it gets lucky versus Trevor likes the backhand shot more. And so, you just hit the line. If you hit the line, you're good. So, just depends on what Grant can feel. When we needed it most, miss it. Ah. That's all right. That's a lot easier to scramble than if you hit the middle. Yep. You are really good at that. What he does. 395 ft par four here. They need one birdie. They need to go one under through the last three. This is probably one of their better chances because a really good drive, you can eagle this hole. Really good drive that will get you with like a jump putt layup, but all three are very birdie-able. So, we'll see what Trevor does here. Come on. Turn. TURN OVER IT. OKAY. PROBABLY A PLAY FOR PAR FROM there and then it'll just be 17, 18 are are both birdie-able. Okay. Ooh, that's very good. That could birdie. Yes, sir. That was a very good layup. I thought you were Grant for a second. All right, we're in the longs here. They have to get one of the last two. Got a straight straight shot right there. OB left water. And then there is wood like long right, but right there. Mhm, liking this. Stay up. Stay up. Yes. Wow. Wow. We like that. We like that. Bang. Yeah. Let's go. Let's go, baby. If you want to look good in moments like this on the course, there's one key. Yes, you have to be good at disc golf. Yes, you have to make putts, but you also got to be wearing the right shoes. Let me tell you about my shoe of choice for the day, the Vessis. They've been a huge partner with us for a long time, but especially during this series, everyone is decked out in Vessis and absolutely loving them. They're the most waterproof shoe I have ever used. They're extremely comfortable. I've actually played disc golf in these lifestyle ones now and I like them. If you're more of the Calvin Heimburg, you want the like more everyday normal shoe tread, these are a great option, but they also have your typical more hiking shoe with a little more aggressive tread. They have high tops, low tops, all kinds of things. All of them extremely waterproof. So, thank you. Huge shoutout to Vessi. Don't forget to go to vessi.com. That link's also in the description down below. It all comes down to this. 275 ft par three. A little bit of a headwind right to left. That can get a little tricky when you're popping a hydra out there because that hydra might pop up. So, really just got to get something safe across, layup, which is what Grant does, tap out a par. Par, they win. Bogey, they lose. Yep. Yes. That's really good. You know, JUST SIT. YES. >> [screaming] >> ALL RIGHT. LAY UP, BABY. LAY UP, BABY. LAY UP, BABY. YEAH, TAP OUT. THEY'VE DONE IT. OH. OKAY. That came out of his hand with a little bit of pop and I was like, The guy might have DONE IT. YES. >> [screaming] >> GROUP HUG. NO WAY WE JUST DID IT. WE DID IT, BOYS. That's beautiful. We'll see if they still feel that way in a minute. We're going to head over for the vote and all of that and to reveal if the money's actually theirs or if someone's been playing a trick on this hole. All right, gentlemen, not to kill the vibe, but it is time to vote. I don't know how this works, but we kind of talked it through like last night before the round and nobody's opinion has changed, right? So, we're we're nobody's going to vote. So, we can do this. We can do the vote for you need us to, but we're not going to vote. We're going to throw it away. Okay, so just to make sure you understand, if you choose to do this and the impostor is one of you three, this bag's going to be empty. But if not, if y'all willing to walk up no vote, you open it and you see your fate. That's what you're choosing to do? Correct. I'm cool with it. Let's do it. >> [music] >> But I kind of went to Grant and I was like, if you're the impostor, consider our bridge burned. Those two guys are closer than anyone else in the game. I've lost a little more trust in him. I mean, he's he's been pretty transparent. I was very transparent. Have you have you been transparent with these guys? Trevor, he's gotten everyone brainwashed into thinking there's no way he's the impostor twice in a row. I played the game last year. I sat here and lied to everyone last year. LET'S GO. GENTLEMEN, CONGRATULATIONS. YOU HAVE successfully completed it. You have eliminated the impostor. You have done it all. The impostor for this season was Gary with his assistant Carlos. That's a wrap for season two. We'll see you in season three. >> [laughter]
