hey guys hunter here with foundation disc golf and in today's video i'm in my backyard i'm just going to be showing you a few different cutter drills that you can implement into your practice schedule to really step up your putter game so this first drill is actually how i warm up for tournaments as well as one of my main practice drills all you're gonna need is two putters and then you're just gonna need any random disc out of your bag this happens to be another putter but that doesn't really matter so what you're gonna do is you're gonna walk to about 15 feet from the basket um stupid plane you're gonna walk to about 15 feet from the basket and put your disc down and then you're gonna putt from it with your two putters uh if you make both you flip the disc over farther away from the basket if you miss one you leave the disc where it is you miss both you flip the disc forward towards the basket so what this does is it helps you really dial in on your putting distance and it works on the areas that you're going to be more uncomfortable with because as you make a bunch you're going to keep moving back until you get to the point that you're missing one or both and then it'll kind of keep you in that area of um where you're a little bit more uncomfortable on the putting green it'll get you more reps there this is a great one also to use warming up for tournaments to get more reps in um and be focused on the areas that you're going to need to make putts during the tournament in order to put yourself in contention so this is a great one especially if you only have two putters that's all it takes so that's the first one and i'll go ahead and demonstrate that a little bit right now all right so you know obviously i'm at a close distance so i'm probably not going to miss too many of these but you want to start there to really get your reps in um within your comfort zone and then it will slowly push you outside of your comfort zone so let's go on to the next drill all right so this next drill goes along with an app on your phone called perfect cut 360. basically you're gonna need five minis ten putters um and then you lay them out according to how it is on your phone and i'm gonna go ahead and play the game right now and i'll post my score so that you guys can kind of challenge me in the comments below um but i'm gonna go ahead and lay it out i believe it goes 10 15 20 25 and 30 feet and then you putt 10 times from each twice to get 100 putts in and it has its own scoring system within the app all right so i just finished up the perfect putt 360 game i got 216 points which is not bad but not good so that's the bar set for you all to beat in the comments down below um the last drill requires five putters and a free online game uh the links are in the description below so that you can play it it's from croydon disc golf club um it's called putts with a z uh basically it's a game you put 20 different times with five putters to get 100 putts in based on how you score from each position is where you'll move but what i really like about this is it keeps up with your percentages how many made missed all of that from each different spot and then it also has a point system so again i'll be able to show you my score and i'll take a screenshot of the screen and put that on the screen at the end of the video so that you can compete with me as well so let's get this one done and then i'll wrap up the video all right guys that's gonna wrap it up um i'm gonna put both the screenshots of my scores on the screen but let me pull up um what i just shot with the croydon app sorry about that i got 592. um i think that's a pretty decent score i don't actually know i haven't practiced putting a little bit uh i didn't record any of the croydon app because my phone not my phone my camera battery died on me plus i talked to my neighbor a little bit during the middle of it so um wasn't a ton of footage for this video but hopefully you found at least one of these three drills slash games helpful for you that you can play if you're wondering what i putt with i putt with pa3s the foundation stamped pa3s these i have two that are my main go-to putters but i had a stack of 10 pa 3s out there that's what i typically will cut with um all all three of these games are really good for getting in repetitions and practicing on a part of your game in an area of your game that might be a little bit weak i'm especially dialing in for me it's the 25 to 30 footers if you look at my stats on the croydon uh putts app it looks like from 25 feet i was 80 percent and then from 30 feet i was 47 so not great from 20 feet i was 100 and i never missed enough to have to putt from less than 20 feet so overall i felt pretty good about that um for my perfect putt 360 i don't know the percentages um i'm sure there's a way to see that but all the links to these apps and everything are in the description below the croydon one's free the perfect putt 360 might be a dollar i'm not actually sure on that and then the first one is just a fun warm-up type game with only two putters is why i like it the most is you don't have to go have a stack of five or ten putters so comment down below your scores on either the croydon app or perfect 360 or both and i will pin comments as much as i see them that beat me i will make sure to pin them if i can find them but other than that guys thanks again so much for watching i hope you enjoyed this video it was a little bit more rushed than our typical videos i was trying to put out the world's
