what is good foundation nation and welcome to the forehand basics tutorial today i'll be walking you through basically everything that you will need to know to either get started with your forehand correct something that's wrong with your forehand or take your forehand hopefully to that next level yeah let's jump right into it all right so basically the first thing i want to address is a few different issues before we ever even get into forehand form one of the first issues that you'll see a lot and this might be something you're struggling with is trying to learn a forehand with too overstable of a disc so what i always recommend whenever i'm teaching clinics or anything like that it's either use a slower disc like a mid-range or something that makes forehands a lot harder or a flippier disc or more neutral disc trevor's chosen the river here but like an avenger ss leopard something like that where it's gonna take touch and it's gonna take control because anyone can get out here and just chuck on anhyzer and let their disc flex what that's going to do is it's never going to give you the good route to actually be able to build a strong forehand the second thing we're going to talk about here is grip so there's a few different types of grip the main one everyone uses is kind of like this stacked it's like a form of a power grip kind of where the two fingers are stacked on top of each other like this another one you'll see some of the pros use that gives you a little bit more spin is either this is i believe how paul and even sexton throw where both fingers are kind of tucked pointed down and then some pros will extend that middle finger but they'll get both fingers on the rim the final one that a lot of people don't talk about but i've seen a lot of pros use it for putter up shots and touchy shots is a fan grip and what this does for me at least i use it on all of my mid and putter shots it gives me a little bit of a cleaner release and a little bit more angle control with my wrist normally i don't recommend that but for touchy shots it's a...
