Foundation Disc Golf All-Star Distance Contest
The Foundation Disc Golf All-Star Distance Contest at Hillcat Stadium is the latest event in the All-Star Weekend presented by Flippy Disc Golf. The contest brings together four teams of experienced disc golfers, including team captains and drafted staff members from the foundation, to compete in a series of skills challenges, putting games, and a distance competition. The top two teams will face off in a doubles challenge to determine the overall winner. The distance challenge is a key part of the event, with each team consisting of one player who throws 5 times and another who throws 5 times. Points are awarded based on where the shot lands, ranging from 1 point for shots between 300-325 to 5 points for shots that clear the back wall without skipping. Teams currently leading in the standings include Charleston, Hunter, Robbie, and Brody, with the outcome of the distance challenge still up for grabs.
