Foundation Faceoff 4 - Survivor Golf

hello I'm Jackson Montgomery with me here is Bobby McQueen pleasure to be here yes sir it's going to be a good one today we are watching the fourth annual foundational face off we got a little bit of survival golf to watch today uh should be real exciting we got two of the best players in the intermediate division we're going to see what they can do out there yeah each some real Fierce competitors should see a steady dose of forehand rollers today looking forward to it yes sir today we're going to be playing a little bit of use it then lose it golf so once you throw a disc you cannot use it again so looks like we're starting off on hole 10 here this one's about as wide open as a cow pasture pretty demanding distance here I doubt either of these candy arms are getting there but we'll see yeah I'd probably agree it looks up first to the te we got Hunter the thrill Thomas he's ripping on his uh that looks to be his gar Mamba oh yeah no shock to see that flip there that's pretty typical yeah and a lot of thing with these AMS offa's torque is a big problem and Hunter seems to have it oh wow oh let looks like it could be a rip here watch that tree coming up yeah Zach biscardi he's an unorthodox player but he seems to get the job done oh overhand I'm a big fan of that hope to see a lot of those today pretty close to the basket yeah he's donking that one for sure oh here's a little patent pending you're going to want to watch that head incredibly still very few players have mastered this technique unreal never looks away pretty and he's rolled it here's a little jump putut from Hunter oh very admirable bid now Zach's not a very lengthy guy but he's definitely got some girth to him so we'll see if he can get behind one today yeah and we we'll notice here with that putter he's actually putting with a mid-range uh very unorthodox struggled with the pool Miss so uh move to that play hole 11 pretty technical hole here um what do you think about 80 ft yeah I would say it's really a jump putt for these guys maybe a good rip on a mid yeah these guys got their foundational disc golf shirts on looks like some kind of mountain on the front there I like that pretty good shot from Zach here we'll see what Hunter The Flipper Thomas can do oh he's he's taking it wide flirt trees very stable oh no yeah that's a danger here really in this hole sh going back to that jump putt never even a chance on that one yeah that's pretty pathetic yeah when you're playing Survival golf you really got to give it a chance out here got the ticker oh Zach I think that might have been a Firebird actually had to be yeah hole 12 here one of the few holes in golf where there's actually no Fairway uh these guys will just be throwing and hoping and as you can see there early tree it looks like Hunter's electing for the forehand here I think he's got his Casey Whi it in hand we'll see what he can do yeah very interesting play from Hunter he actually wasn't born with a a wrist actually he doesn't have a joint there and so that that seems to be a big problem for him usually out on the course people will say hey Chef boy Rd you know how how's that noodle doing and you know he he plays it off like a real champ but I can tell it hurts him and looks like he's going right back to it oh yeah that's really got to inspire this guy's fought through a lot of adversity it's not pleasing to the eye but it definitely it'll it'll work at times another great bed man he's just a little bit off the mark all right these guys will clean up and we'll head on to oh little POV view very nice now we'll head on to the dreaded hole 13 in this hole you're either 50 short or 250 long uh so get your Putters out and Rib looks like Zach has a commanding three Strokes lead he's going with that Z drone lethal yeah and when you watch Zach's backhand you'd probably notice it's not great and uh that's why he tends to lean more to the little the sidearm and the little Tomah hooker that he likes to throw yeah I mean you see Hunter's backhand form here really textbook next to whatever Abomination that is that Zach's throwing there mhm hunter likes to play right into the trees there yep that's pretty textbook uh he likes to trust that uphill putt oh no but he might have misplaced it yeah as he goes to the roller there that's pretty disappointing yeah we like to call him Tony Hawk because he really rolls around all over the place mhm the flat SK off the basket that's real signature move from him oh no Pretty Dirty Splash out there you call it something there's Hunter dead center he likes to wear those shorts baggy and I appreciate it you know I think he's got practice after this so yeah channeling some kind of 03 Allen Iverson there I'm not sure that's about abely yep I agree uh hole 14 here pretty tough t-shot well used to be uh that tree there in the middle you can see there on your left I actually cut that down cuz I got sick of hitting it uh so I will probably see Zach uh go right over yeah right over top of that wow and that looks like another Firebird if you're keeping track he's got about 20 of them in his bag again probably because he only throws sidearms there's here's Hunter oh that looks great oh it's just going right for It Go in oh very close oh yeah he likes that you know I haven't seen Tony Romo get that excited since the 2007 divisional round so I like to see him having fun on the course like that yeah he really aired that one out so to speak another Dong from bardi really tying those up that's four five for sure H Kang that's why they love him out there call him the wristle Wonder but he makes those putts look easy folks all right on the hole 15 here uh pretty tight dog leg right shot um won't be surprised to see a couple forehand here looks like we got his Elite X Stratus here wow and he's really relying on that sidearm that could be a good shot though that'll give him a putt ooh wow very smooth velvety oh no there's tree guess better get the axe out again mm he's in danger alley from there oh and you can tell forced him to go back in and he always hated it has a long run from here oh big jump putt look out great run there Zach choosing to go with the sweatpants today very interesting oh hunter that is just Prime Time huge that might keep it close and it does when he needed it the most Hunter only down two now whole 16 now little short and this very much favors Hunter Thomas abolutely he's got that backand Zack yeah we we'll see if Zach elects for the overhand here what is Hunter's got a strike I believe y looks like it oh he's gone low playing for the skip he gets it he gets it late oh and Zach does go for the backhand here oh and he's ripped the line wow looks pretty perfect oh and a late kick looks like sends him out H he's been close very big implications for this putt oh oh he never gave it a chance that really just separates the Champs from the Chumps at the end of the day oh and almost insult the injury wow folks will you look at that Zach bcard is going to be walking away with the win here on the fourth annual foundational Faceoff wow theow he's a real players player this guy's got a lot of respect on tour
