hey everyone zack and hunter here with foundation disc golf in today's video we're gonna be doing foundation face off number five we had you guys vote on instagram between a one disc challenge and a four hand roller challenge and you picked the one disc challenge by one vote i believe um so we're shooting that today and then next week we'll drop the forehand roller challenge since it was so close so what we did this morning we went to play against sports bought each other one disc um zach what did i buy you you bought me a beat up dx beast all right and then zach bought me a beat up dx viking so this should be interesting we've never thrown these before we're out at uh the university of lynchburg's course um we're gonna play it and play nine holes and see who wins all right guys we are here at whole one of lynchburg college uh this is 252 feet pretty straight just trees on your right and then danger on the left um this is gonna be my first start with this beat in dx beast um i'm probably just gonna throw a thumber try to be safe all right here we go all right so what we didn't see on video and i didn't even know happened is zach's disc after hit that tree rolled i don't even know like 60 100 feet back this way so i'm in a pretty good position i'm gonna try to forehand this and see how flippy it actually is um so yeah let's see oh gosh is very clear all right guys we made it to my shot i hit the tree over there and it rolled probably a hundred feet um i can't say that hasn't happened but it hasn't happened a lot unfortunately it's happened during a challenge but here we go second shot get in there all right we're here on hole two 219 feet it is a slow turning shot to the left so it's flippy so i'm probably just gonna throw a forehand or a roller all right so on the first hole i tried a forehand this thing is way too flippy for that so in this hole we're gonna try it back in just put it on a lot of hyzer and hopefully we'll just kind of slowly flip up um we'll see he's outside right yep how's that three field hunter not too good i took a two on that last hole and now we're on hole three which is 390 feet par four up through the woods and then to the right so i still don't think i want to learn how this flies backhand so i'm gonna try and throw down the forehand roller all right so last hole i threw this backhand soft and went pretty straight so i'm going to try to do about the same thing and see if i can't punch into the gap a little bit it wasn't soft all right i can't see anything so you guys watch this one for me i don't know how to throw this because i don't know how flippy it's gonna be on this shot but i'm gonna just bet based on everything else will be flippy oh she's got stable on me the basket's being blocked by that big tree right there that should be perfect people are gonna think i'm a straddle putter that's all i'm doing pick up another stroke oh what do you know all right we're here on the next tee i just gained another stroke so now i'm up two um this hole is 573 feet par four hole number four um i'm going to try and not throw a roller this time put a ton of hyzer on a flick maybe not throw it so hard and try and get it go straight oh wait i'll store my acl all right so i'm down to gotta get creative here um i've never tried this but i've heard stories of people throwing grenades that flip up and go with a flippy enough disc um so i'm going to try that and throw it hard and see if i can't get a little more distance and hopefully still be in the middle no way that was such a dumb move okay how are they gonna hold that now i guess i'll i'm say play it safe here try and get another stroke on hunter during the summer just playing for my par all right so change of events here we obviously we're doing a one disc challenge you've been watching the video um i lost my one disc somewhere in here uh so i've searched for 10 15 more minutes i don't know i found this while i was in there it does have a name and number on it so we're going to call the dude after it's a legacy patriot don't really know what it's going to fly like but what we're going to do is i'm going to go back approximately where we think my disc was play from there with this disc with a stroke penalty so that the video will continue on um but yeah so this is my new disc all right get in there yeah get up there all right all right we're on the next hole hole five 336 feet par three um goes dead straight through this gap and then up into the left uh hunter is using a real disc now so if he wins there will be an asterisk next to this but uh yeah i'm just gonna throw a forehand again no i'm not i'm going over oh boy all right so i'm at a little bit of a dilemma here because obviously i have an advantage with this disc um i've thrown it once over there so i know it's pretty stable so if i go down the middle i have a fair chance of getting there but since it's not a crappy disc um i think i'm going to go over like zach did just for this hole to make it a little bit more fair um and then i'll play normal from here on out that's yeah that's where my head is not horrible all right unfortunately guys i wish i could go somewhere but i have to pitch out um no blowing up guys that almost missed all right we are on hole six 366 feet r4 just straight up the gut right there up on the side of that hill if you can see it um i think we're tied you'll be able to see the score so you'll know i'm pretty sure we're tied though because i gained three strokes on that hole so yeah i pretty sure i can throw an actual backhand with this so we're going to see if i can't get an eagle opportunity ah i'm sorry now yeah all right guys tell me in the comments what penalty is that and how many am i up now all right hole seven par four 432 feet you're gonna want to throw out to the left there's a middle grouping of trees you just want to fade around that and then the baskets about straight from the t-pad or so um pretty sure this disc is just an fd as far as flight goes so i'm gonna throw it hard out to the left a little bit of annie and see if i can't get another jump putt for eagle let's see it whole baby okay well i'm gonna throw my first backhand here um i pretty much am already taking this as a lost a loss because he's using that disc but uh i'm just gonna throw my first backhand here all right here's hunter uh putting for an eagle on a fake par four whole weight 315 feet i'm pretty sure i'm up by two now so all i have to do is put this close and i'm basically going to win fake win sure uh yeah no i agree fake one um i'm gonna throw it on hyzer and since it's a real disc it'll probably hold it the whole way so yeah must be nice or i'm going to saw it off early left just how i planned i'm trying to think like which roller is going to get there is what i'm trying i don't know why i didn't throw it hard oh boy almost came back out hole 9 261 feet pretty much dead straight there is a road on the right that's ob and then the low hanging evergreen trees the whole way i'm gonna try to throw a little forehand um as long as i even bogey this hole i should still win so let's do it oh my god oh wow what a kick that make to the road are you sure close all right guys thank you so much for watching that wraps it up i finally was able to take down my second win wait a second wait a second i don't think that should count as a win because this was supposed to be a one disc challenge why don't you guys let us know in the comments below if that should count as a win for hunter or win for me just let us know thanks for watching we'll see you guys next time hey josh my name is hunter i just found your legacy patriot out at lynchburg college's disc golf course give me a call back and i'll get this back to you thanks have a good one
