Foundation Faceoff 8 - Mini Disc golf

hey guys zach here with foundation disc golf and welcome to foundation face-off number eight today we are going to be playing mini disc golf uh so the rules will be if you win the hole you get to create the next hole so let's get to it all right so right now we have hunter creating the hole tell us about it hunter yeah so it's gonna be a little island hole uh the ob is gonna be defined by this ditch in front and we're gonna tee off um by the door over here just a little uh simple hole to start us off all right let's see how stable this mini is oh boy left myself with a tester on the first hole i threw a summers in disc golf so i'm gonna throw a thumb here all right now i get to make the next hole all right zach where are you going all right i'm going to go in the middle over here and we're gonna tee back by the basket back there make it a little farther all right guys so this hole is a little longer than the one before we're gonna have the same creek kind of thing running ob the road that we're going to pass over is ob and then the road behind the basket is ob so a lot of ob and a longer shot so here we go so that's ob right no oh it's like a river obi i thought it was an island hole my bad okay i thought zach was ob but it plays as a river the road does so that was my fault he's not ob he just threw really short might go i hope that came off the roof all right so no sense of running this because hunter is ob but uh all right here we go so i got lucky must have rolled off the carpet here so taking them in bounds cause i'm in the grass so uh yeah where's the basket the weakest part of my life all right first stroke all right so the basket is in this pathway right here um we are going to tee off from up there by the mailbox so you're going to go down this path and to there ob is going to be defined by the rocks if you're touching any rocks you're out of bounds other than that you're in okay so i think i might lay up i don't want to go long i don't think i can throw the thumb that far with this disc um and the cart path is safe so i'm gonna try and throw a thumb right where i wanted it okay so zach laid up i'm gonna try to go a little bit aggressive here and gain a stroke okay so since zach laid up i decided to just lay up and all right i laid up a lot shorter than i would have wanted if i was actually laying up so i still have a little bit of a scary shot that almost fell through the crack all right so i'm a little closer than hunter was so i'm gonna give this run okay putting it close to the road the road's going to be i'll be um we're going to tee off back over there underneath that tree um a nice little righty hyzer or a summer that's probably what i'm going to throw all right uh i didn't realize how low the trees were gonna um and feed my shot so i'm gonna throw a righty backhand which is gonna be the first one of the day so hopefully i don't turn this thing over uh i turned it over but i didn't say the other side was out of bounds instead of the road so i guess technically i'm still in that's someone else's property well we didn't find that before hey comment down below if zack should be ob since he threw onto someone else's property even though i said only the road is out of bounds but you're off the property all right well this is not going to be i know that one i think it's stable yeah all right even though we already said you know comment down below i'm just going to read t hunter didn't want to film their house so i guess i'm out of bounds even though it's not what i said i'm going to try and throw a thunder now and keep it in bounds all right well that one's in all right well i'm short as you guys have probably noticed that my legs are small so i can't really get around this but let me give it a run oh that was close okay so i'll put the basket here and i'm going to make the tee be up through there because it looks like there's a little bit of a uh a gap there so we have a little bit of a wooded hole all right so this is probably the shortest hole we've had so far um as long as our mats right zach and i are tied now so definitely have to get put this close uh and get two on here to not lose any strokes okay i'm trying to figure out what to do because i know i'm going to turn over the backing i don't know if i want to throw it lefty or just throw it thumber i'm gonna throw a thumber okay well that wasn't the plan but here we go and it stays in alright so now i have a one stroke lead after hunter just missed that putt i put the basket in the middle of this little dirt patch um that is gonna be an island it's very small but we'll make the judgment call when it comes to it we're gonna go not too far we're gonna go over there by that yellow basket um and yeah see if we can land in the island all right so we made a drop zone just in case both of us miss which we probably will but it's going to be this dirt patch over here it's kind of a little mound um if we miss we have to go from there so here we go and i definitely missed but that's okay all right so i'm just trying to play a hyzer out wide and see if i can't uh get it on the island gosh these bugs and that's off the island all right drop zone it is for both of us all right so we both have to ret unfortunately um so the rules are going to be if you don't make it on the island from the riti you have to keep re-ting until you get there so here we go all right let's just try to put this closed all right so here we go um this next hole we are going to be shooting at the yellow basket so we have a raised basket we're going to be teeing off from right path uh right past the cart path so not too far um anything out of bounds is going to be the inside of the little creek that we got going on here all right as you guys saw before the backhand is trash just like in regular golf disc golf i'm gonna go ahead and throw the thumber all right pretty much parked all right i'm just trying to throw it out wide and hopefully get pretty close it should work oh it's knocked it off so we're going to say if you're in the water i guess surrounded by water okay surrounded by water it's not about water going on the other side um we are going to go ahead and tee off from underneath the house okay so we can't see the basket from where we are but i think i'm going to try and just throw it over there and hope that it's not surrounded by water in that small creek i guess we'll see later all right i'm gonna go with a little bit of a different uh method i'm just trying to throw a backhand hard into that bamboo wall type thing behind it um and see if i can't just get it to stick on the other side of the creek and have a putt back nope that slipped out so early so i'm just lay up short tap out all right this actually looks like it's pretty runnable so i'm gonna try to make this would this be outside the circle technically what's the mini circle i don't know okay comment down below i'ma call this outside the circle yeah but comment down below what the circle and mini should be i don't know if it's different or not but this feels like it should be jump puttable oh no that was just embarrassing it's strange time to lay up okay even though i didn't mean to lay up i should have a easy three definite four come on let's stay safe so zach is in the middle of the creek ob we're gonna say he hit on that side and rolled back in mainly so he doesn't have to jump back up out of the creek so this is for his three right so we're both just tapping out fours here all right so we have the basket in this little ditch what we're going to have to do is throw over the house mandatory over the house and then out of bounds will be obviously creek and yeah so this is our finishing hole all right so we're going to have to tee off behind this yellow line instead of throwing summer because i don't know if i could actually get it over the house without laying there because it lands on top of the roof it's out of bounds i'm going to try and throw lefty i think i might want to throw a summer okay i think i got over but it's pretty far right all right so i know this is crazy stable so i'm gonna try to throw uh andy flex up over the house and see if i can get here oh boy oh actually it's gonna be short but it should be right in line okay so zach actually out drove me by a little bit uh mine stalled and came back here i'm still down by one so i just need to make sure i get um i get up and down here that about wraps it up so i think hunter's out of bounds now um i i guess i guess i
