Foundation Faceoff - Pick'em and Flick'em

hey guys zach here with foundation disc golf hunters behind the camera today we have a new foundation face-off for you it's going to be called pick them and flick them so the rules are we're going to be playing a nine hole loop and every single shot if it's a drive and upshot and a putt we get to choose each other's disc you cannot play the same disc on each hole but that disc can be used again on the next hole so we are here at sandusky park and hole one 261 feet let's get it going all right everybody how you guys doing zach and hunter here on the mic once again going to be doing commentary on a face-off that just is hunter and i here we go hole one hunter choosing a crystal luna for myself yeah i mean i knew there's zero chance of him getting a putter anywhere close to this basket i think it's like 200 feet um it doesn't really have the distance to get it there so i just went with the crystal luna uh anyone else probably would have been a good pick but not for zach and here i'm choosing a stalker for hunter i thought this was flippy but clearly it's not for his arm speed because he he got it there and he parks this hole and that's going to be probably one stroke after this but but we'll see just a bit right uh with a destroyer there um no real difference than a normal putter but you know i couldn't pick that so i go up by one after hole one we're heading to hole two backhand hyzer hole zach picks a crank ss and i had to show him why that was a bad decision uh throw a great roller here but it does end up a little short a little outside all right now hunter here chooses a star valkyrie for myself one of the flippier discs in my bag i was trying to just not throw it as hard and instead he just threw it directly left off the tee uh he's deep in the amazonian juggles jungles here um no hope this kind of pitches it out um use my crystal raptor there trying to just get it relatively close somewhere where i can just miss a putt um yeah hunter just a little bit outside with his uh big z zeus there zach just laying it up to about five feet should have a couple of tap-ins here and we'll move on to the next oh frick yeah i mean we all knew zach was a bad putter but that is next level there that was that was five feet away i mean i think he was farther away on that putty just through an overhand i don't even i don't even know what to say yeah i mean even in person i was just in shock that i i missed that putt but you guys probably are not in shock because you've seen this many times before yeah here we are in hole three um i am choosing hunter's putting pa3 uh and he just left that a little short right he chooses a putter again for myself and zach i mean i never really had a chance it hits the tree and drops straight ob right there um so it's really not looking good for you at this point no we're only two holes in our video and it's already being pretty rough uh a little malta up shot there leaves it a little bit right side but shouldn't have a trouble with that putt here hunter is running the basket with his glow fd3 i believe and does go a little bit long here we got hunter choosing my normal putting putter because he was confident i was going to miss and he was correct yeah i mean that was uh i mean at this point i could probably let zach just play normal golf he seems a bit off today i don't even have to pick his discs anymore but i will i'll continue doing it for the video and hunter drills that play without i don't know about you guys but to flip a disc on a putt that's about twice the distance of when you just air ball that's that's a little bit cocky there especially for a guy who's down five through three holes but i mean we'll see if it pays off for him all right hunter here is throwing his nova i thought this was going to be something flippy for him but as you can see he yeah his arm speed is just so slow it didn't flip over but it was a perfect shot dead in the middle i'm swatting away some bugs and yeah and you see that off-axis torque that zach's always struggled with just coming in real hot right there uh still faded out a little bit you know he's going to be in decent spot though this is an open shot going to be easy for any disc that i chose but i chose this foundation force just put on a little annie oh wow okay yeah that one almost went in um and now i got this uh yeah i mean we've seen zach doesn't have a forehand or a backhand so he went overhand there and still can't make a 10-footer regardless of what happens if you're keeping count that is two putts that i missed with two different buzzes so far so keep let's keep track of buzz miss putts yeah four holes i believe yeah we got hunter here throwing his uh crystal raptor thought it was gonna be a good choice because he was super overstable but he got pretty far down the fairway there zach just ripping on a z zone actually a crystal zone um but just swings it out way too wide still gonna have a solid hundred some feet probably on his up shot here uh we'll see if he can get up and down shouldn't be too obstructed of a yeah wide open look just saws it off a little bit oh my flippiest disc there trying to just you know put some touch but didn't have any yeah i'm just i was trying to run that bit didn't work out zach with another buzz putt here and another miss right um i mean at this point i don't think anyone's really that surprised that's three if you're counting at home folks and tapping out with an onyx and zach with a malta dead center it looks like and if you guys can fix my putt that would be great let me know in the comments down below if you can help me and maybe one day we can meet up here we got hunter throwing his crank ss looking like a baby t-rex throwing that thing and it just ends up a little bit to the right zach throwing the flippiest disc in his bag yet again and yet again failing to flip it up to flat um i mean at some point he's gonna have to start throwing some air diamonds to get anything to flip over for him but yeah he's pretty close you know probably about 15 20 feet just outside his comfort zone by about 10 feet so you know you knew that was another miss coming in hot uh thing came out wobblier than a newborn giraffe up seven we're skipping over to hole 10 here i'm ripping on a z zone and those things are just so stable it didn't have a chance to stay turned over on that angle might be the longest hole in lynchburg here yeah i think it actually probably is not even joking i'm throwing one of the flippier discs in my bag again trying to put some touch on a forehand and it actually looks like it works out yeah not as far as i usually get but definitely in the middle let's see if i can just put it close now here for some reason zach had a brain fart and picked a buzz for me which is probably what i would have picked anyway so i mean no surprise that i put that close not really sure what i picked for zach here i think it was a crystal luna yep that was my putter so you know he's close as well but there's no promises with how he's been putting today a little high but it sticks uh up seven still we're jumping over from hole 10 over to hole 15 here uh i'm gonna be a forehand hyzer down this hill looks like you're throwing that crank again and you know that one you just didn't seem to like four handing no it's too flippy i feel really uncomfortable flicking it just ends a little bit right and here you got me throwing a malta one disc that you know i'm not really enjoying so much got a little tree love there and filters down towards the basket we'll show you should be pretty close i'm on the side of a hill here uh oh there he goes um i think he picked a crank for me on this shot here um giving it a good run but that is going to stand up and roll another 20 some feet down to the jungle there get a little extra power uh zach could just let one rip right before that putt so that's why uh i told him we need to keep that inside to get some more power maybe that was the key to his putting if you're keeping track that's another buzz miss putt right there with hunter that was my mind yeah all right back here throwing a a2 on a forehand and his off axis torque just turns it straight into a roller uh never stood a chance to flex out of that angle for those at home i was trying to throw a roller if you ever look at me studying a nova it's just because mine is so beat up i'm trying to find a spot that my hand can actually hold it without feeling weird it looks like he found somewhere to hold it because he pureed this hole and just didn't think that that was going to be perfect here he's got myself throwing a crystal luna didn't i got a color glow fd3 in my hand um i'll leave it leave it a little bit sawed off but i should still be about 20 feet not less than that so i'm gonna tap this out and wrap up the video all right guys thank you so much for watching i was glad i was able to take down yet another win
