Foundation Faceoff - Ript Revenge 2

hey guys zach here with foundation disc golf hundreds behind the camera and today we are filming rip revenge number two we actually have the real deck this time so thank you to the owner um who created the game he sent us a few decks so the rules today are gonna be each start with three cards and it's gonna be match play the loser of the whole gets a card the winner gets a point and if everything pushes you know if we go to hole two the winner will get two points and the loser will get two cards and we're out here at camp hideaway we have not played this course for a challenge yet so we're excited for you guys looks like the grass is pretty high but we're excited to be out here all right guys this whole one 270 feet it goes dead straight with a soft finish to the right i think i'm going to go ahead and throw this onyx try and get this close to the basket all right i'll be throwing my tour series rafter i'll just try to throw it flat get over there are you playing a card on me all right so we're up at zach's shot he has a chance at birdie and this looks like about 25 feet or so so i'm gonna play my card it was for after shot so reposition and opponents lie by 10 paces or 30 feet in any direction provided it will not be out of bounds let's do that this way wow pretty short all right so that last hole pushed so we're here at hole 2 246 feet basically dead straight i'm going to throw overhand and try and land in the middle somewhere unless hunter is playing a card on me nope all right so here we go and also if you see like some people in military fatigues uh it's because the school's like i don't know what's called rotc i think they're out here on the course so that's what that is what's hey zack i'm gonna play a card that cancels that shot so you gotta do it again you're you're like one step closer here yeah it was right there just cancels any shot yeah okay oh all right so after that hole i got two points but hunter got two cards um we are in hole three we're playing the red tee because some of the instructors are over there by the long tee it's 170 feet from here we weren't expecting to play this short one but kind of just a short little forehand so any cards no all right oh and also these t-pads are like five feet long that tree was good i think yeah it kept you pretty close it was going to go really long gosh i'm off i nailed those other two butts and i missed that one yeah okay so we tied on that last hole so it's still zach's teeth but i'm gonna play a card on him we're on hold 12 we're jumping over to the back line a little bit here uh 269 feet the card that i am playing says before alt use two of your discs to create a new tee for the opponent to throw in the upcoming drive and he must be within 30 feet this is wild we're going this way there's not even a line there well yeah but this hole is worth two points so i could tie it up here one hey i have three points you're right all right no i wasted it all all right so i'm gonna play a card on hunter it's uh after all players have taken their two shots trade lies with an opponent of your choice i was really trying to hit the first tree but i missed so he's going here and i'm gonna go a little bit up there hopefully it's worth it because it's worth two points are you kidding me that's as good as i could possibly throw that oh no i ruined it all right we are on hole 13 284 feet it is go straight and then hard to the right they're kind of hard but um this hole is worth three so if i win it's over and if hunter wins he's gonna be up by one i'm gonna throw my onyx he said he'll probably throw he'll probably play a card after i throw but let's just try and get it close i guess my card was i could heckle you but i couldn't tell you until after the shot it didn't work did you see that did it roll yeah yay i hit the tree like i think that's next to the basket and it rolled like 40 feet okay so zach his shot looked great but he said it apparently hit and rolled so there's a chance he's even ob so if i get this close unless he has another switching card i could be up by one after this nice disc that looks tasty i think i kicked in the water i'm pretty sure okay so i was like 15 feet on my drive uh really happy with it zach's like 30 some feet um and then zach played a card that i apparently have to reach you with a new disc right yes sir so okay well what sucks is that's the only really overstable distance driver i have um so i'm gonna go re-t with the zeus because i think for my forehand this will be pretty overstable and uh hopefully i ace it and zach can just take it am i outside yeah you're outside actually i'll make you walk it off just just so i know zack and i both walked it off he's right at the edge of the circle but outside if that makes any sense so he's gonna be able to jump this ice in his veins folks let's see him hunter i was so nervous there was no chance in my head that was going in how does it feel you're up by one now feels good now all right hole 14 213 feet but it is straight uphill i don't know how much the camera shows how uphill it is also the t-pads here are starting to dry rot pretty pretty bad like very noticeably bad so um zach said he's playing a card on me let's say he is here um you have to drive with a putter and putt with your driver so put with what i was going to use as a driver or like force an opponent to drive with the putter and putt with a driver okay so an actual driver yeah okay here oh and he pures it get in maybe i'm gonna start throwing a pa3 on this hole from now on i'm down on myself folks i'm feeling down i did not see where that went if it didn't roll it's going to be pretty close oh i thought i missed that wow if that was with a putter i missed it that came out so low full 15 but whole i believe six of our challenge we just have 16 and 20. that would make whole seven of our challenge uh 190 feet this is a quadruple mando so you have to go through this gap and the basket is in between four trees on the right side of the fairway um are you playing a card on me no all right holy cow that scared me i'm assuming you had the heckle card yep maybe three from there what you're thinking about here hunter i don't know how to throw this shot but made through the mando though i did i made the mando just throw a banger there's a massive drop off behind the basket so just trying to get it up there a little short of it have a little putt you pulled it right great kick did you hit that off the tree i just bounced it off the tree all right hold 16 375 feet we have ob right in front of the basket if there is water in there to play surrounded by water is ob um i think i'm up now hunter has to win this hole to tie it up i did play a card though um which was to trade hands because he just got two new cards so i might as well play the card i can't play one on this hole though so if i win it didn't matter but if he wins and i can play on the next hole i'm gonna throw my a4 on forehand just trust it get it over and drank it down there i don't know where that went i don't really have a gap so i'm going to try and skip something over there but there's water so this is risky looks like it's that short yeah it did that was a really bad idea okay well zach's at his disc here i'm playing a card on him that he has to put this one with his eyes closed it's gonna be rough because it's right over water but also i'm gonna go ahead and mark my disc with our new foundation minis get them at foundationdiscs.com i can line it up in my eyes yeah it's just when you go to putt you have to close your eyes no chance this goes in not a bad attempt describe it some strategy so basically if i make that putt we're tied at four next hole wins i miss that putt tap this one in pushes two next hole wins so i'm basically just betting that i'm a beat zack on 20. it all comes down to whole 20 guys 288 feet dead straight but the shot was going to be a slow left turning shot i played a card on hunter i got to choose his disc and he has to use that the whole time uh i chose the nova behind scenes but he was kind of excited about that i suck this hole because the backhand hole i'm going to throw over him and play for the three because i don't think he could do it with his nova gotta channel my inner loop callahan throw this thing a mile wow oh man honestly i felt like that might have that was like the winning shot okay site wow oh man he dings it how'd that feel feel real needed so i'm editing this video uh the one you're currently about done watching and i realized that zach just won on that hole but for some reason we thought it would go to a playoff so um zach won the challenge right there you just saw it but uh here's our our playoff that we we didn't need but thought we did and yeah we we just weren't thinking but but zach won the match play right right there so uh enjoy the enjoy the extra golf all right folks we are back in hole one first ever playoff and foundation face-offs um i'm playing a card trading discs i get to throw hunter's sail and he's gotta well i get to throw a hundred onyx and he's gotta throw my sail so this could you know this could be it or we might be here and miss our podcast this is a thursday if you're wondering why you said that short bright all right folks here's hunter talking out his shot thinking about what he's gonna do i just don't remember how flippy this disc is so um i'm gonna try to hit it with a little bit of hyzer aimed at those straight trees and see if i can't get it to flip over and cruise to the right i really i have no confidence in the shot we'll never know what it would have done all right i hit my gap that i was trying to but i hit a tree dropped here um zach got a ways up there he might even have a look at two so this might be a pointless shot but i've got to throw this in or i definitely lose basically is how it works that's too far right turns out my shot didn't
