Foundation Faceoff - Siri Picks

hey guys zach here with foundation disc golf hunter behind the camera today we're here with another face-off uh we got this from someone from instagram so what we did was we numbered each disc in our bag i went from putters to drivers underwent from drivers to putters basically what we're gonna do is siri is gonna pick a number on the tee box and that is the disc that we have to use and then so on for our upshot and so on for our putt so we'll do this for about uh six holes uh we're here at lynchburg college um all right let's get it started pick a number 1 through 24. the answer is 19. 19. so i got a star destroyer still has my glow tape on it from uh last glow tournament gotta take that off um but this is gonna be interesting like 295 feet so go down get that all right all right so i got a z buzz ss to be honest with you i haven't exactly thrown this disc yet so i'm i think i just throw it flat or a little annie flatter a little annie on that left side and hopefully get towards the basket go in no yeah that was moving this might hit me nice butt all right we're here on hole two this is 100 no 219 feet it's gonna slow bend to the left sorry about that uh traffic noise we are next to a major road siri picked 20 and i have a glow fd3 rough here for me this t-pad is uphill you know don't have the best backhand i think i'm gonna try and just throw a roller down and just get it open to that field out to that field oh she is gone that way number 20 for me was a crystal raptor um i'm okay with this should be able to just pump it out there flat and a little bit high nose up and let it stall get over there it should be should be pretty good a lot more stable than i thought that is a pretty bad shot real early so siri pick number three which for me means really overstable drivers for zach means putters so i've got to put this one close because i'll know exactly where zach is but with a putter you shouldn't be in too much trouble i'm thinking i just want to lay down a little soft roller let's see nice shot yeah that'll do it oh what i did not mean to do that so i picked another number and it gave me three again so i'm back to the zone that shot was was dumb i mean you're gonna see me throw like that i didn't i couldn't throw yeah no it was roast me i don't care outside the circle sir yes all right get up there oh all right so we're on hole three par four 390 feet goes into that tight wooded gap up there uh all the way up and then the basket's tucked in on the right side for some reason siri's really liking low numbers right now she picked number two which is great for me because it is my esp zeus but for zach it looks like it's his uh i can't think of esp luna um i'm staring at the disc like what plastic is that um so i definitely have the advantage but this is not the disc i would throw in this hole i think i'm gonna try to go for hand out into the field and then play up through that open gap that's over there it's probably my best bet with this disc i also can't feel my fingers not good for four times that's exactly where i wanted it all right got my z esp luna yes i said that because uh check it out you see that in the camera yep cool all right i'm gonna do the same thing and try and make it to that gap on the left hand side um hopefully i can get i didn't get there maybe i don't know i didn't get there but we'll see i've got a core there's a flippy mid here i'm gonna try and throw lefty through this gap right here small but it might look big on camera so uh let's give it a shot i'm gonna punch through that oh a foot to the left that might have been good or two feet i don't know so yeah i missed my gap so i pushed a little too far forward off the tee so i'm a little bit cut off this is not anywhere close to the disc i would choose for this shot but i'm gonna try to throw a forehand anhyzer through the gap i want it to be at and hopefully it'll flatten um i think i'm gonna have to put a lot more anhyzer on this than i'm normally used to or more snap but with how cold my fingers are i don't think i'll be able to do that so i'm just trying to crank over on it and hopefully let it flatten into the gap no hunter oh i should have known as soon as i said i need to put a lot of anhyzer on it that was going to happen but oh well i was glad i didn't steer my hand up go in get in get in all right we're jumping over to hole seven so this video is six holes um par four 432 feet shorter par four but it plays out to this left side and you got to put a lot of annie or throw a big forehand if you want a chance at the eagle 2 um i the number that was picked was 18 lines up with my titanium buzz it is kind of understable but i don't think i can get it that far my hands are getting real slick because how cold it is luckily we have these chalk bags uh on our website so using that getting it back to being a little grippy um it's actually my first time using a bag that has any chalk in it i think this is like chalk and rice it feels like i'm used to using the end of a sports sax and this like at least adds some residue to your hand so when i'm gripping the disc like before i couldn't grip it at all um i'm pretty impressed not gonna lie i was impressed with the quality but i normally hate bags of chalk in them and this one i i seem to like so cool anyways now that sales pitch is over uh can't try to get this close to the basket you good yep and that's gonna be a great shot nice got a jumper at it all right so i've got a esp zeus um usually i go low and then i end up just dead straight in those trees i'm gonna try and throw something high and hopefully pushes far enough forward this time and then crashes towards the basket and hopefully i don't fall like conor did way too far out left should be an easy three too far too far too far oh all right one hole 8 hundred and i believe it's 15 feet there's two two distances on the sign i don't remember which one's long i believe it's three fifteen um so the number six was pulled which was my d1zx buzz so he has an advantage there we also just discussed that every face-off from here on out we're switching tags for our local club and so zach has the 41 tags he just signed up i'm on the board so i have the five tag so a lot more pressure on me than on zach currently um and we're tied up with two holes left so i've got to put this closes a really beat up d1 i think i've got to throw it for hand um yeah i think i'm just trying to throw it forehand on hyzer let it slowly flip up some and give myself a putt come out come out please yeah all right a little bit longer look than i originally hoped for but i should make that all right just playing for the three no big deal laying up on a 300 foot hole no big deal oh no i could put that far i just leaked it out earlier there's got his onyx pressure put here oh boy whoa that was worse than a zack putt that was horrible all right we're on hole 9 261 feet i am up one but siri just screwed me um he picked number 23 which for zach is his crystal raptor which i think is what he throws anyways here or at least close to it i think you can just throw a forehand out to the left and let it skip up there um but for me it's my nova and it's not my good note but this is my more overstable nova so i don't know that i can actually get there i don't have enough height to leave it up so i'm going to have to throw this hard and low and just hope i can get close enough to make a putt or that zack messes up if not we're going to go to a playoff the latter is most likely yeah that's uh short and left so it's all in zach's court now all right so i just really want this five tag but uh i'm gonna throw this pretty hard left flat not any anhyzer because you know me i'll probably roll the wrist real hard or just something dumb um so i'm gonna try and get it close got to be inside like 15 if i'm going to make a putt so let's get her going i couldn't have thrown it better than that and i'm about touching the pin so this looks like it might go to playoff unless uh hunter can make a big putt which that will still be exciting so here we go he's outside circle right yep all right hunter it's big time all right biggest part of your career i haven't said that in a long time it's true big z zeus slightly outside the circle uphill dead center for the win here we go playoff time all right so hunter's a little farther than he thought about 20 feet he'll probably make it but we're gonna make him put it of course best of luck wow that almost did me dirty you i hope you can slow-mo that all right playoffs all right so we're on hole one for this playoff instead of just playing the whole course again what we're gonna do is siri picked three different discs um so what we're gonna do is ctp with three discs but combined distance for all together um i hope that made sense so i'll throw one hunter will throw will alternate take the distance of all three and then whoever was closer will take down the win i've got a buzz an undertaker and that crystal raptor so i'm gonna start off with the bus i think i'm more nervous than i should be i cooked that i just lost it right there that's like 50 feet no it's not okay it's not 50 feet it's all right okay so for my three i have a nova a malta and my beat up d1 um my strategy since zach had the t from winning the last hole is every time i'm just trying to pick what i know i'm closer than zach which right now is gonna be my weakest disc which is my d1 leaves the two that i'm really confident in and i think this one i can get closer than zach just put that buzz as long as i do that i should should take down the weight nice shot actually kind of kind of similar but i think i'm slightly closer it's hard to tell but about what i wanted to do okay so i don't want to throw this thing forehand too overstable and i don't trust myself with the touch and here i'm gonna try and throw a hyzer way out there and let it just filter down towards the hole i'm standing filter down what all right i got the malta uh again you know my strategy but this one with how far away zach was this should seal it right here uh because my nova is not going to be outside the circle so just throw this on a forehand trust it try to get it inside the circle and take down the wind a little too high you'll be right by my d1 but i think that's closer than zach's second still so yeah all right we're gonna go with the third throwing style should have thrown the raptor with the summer but i'm gonna do that now with the undertaker which i've never thrown this on a thumb i don't know how it's gonna react this needs to be parked if it's not it's completely over um but if i put it within like five feet maybe i have a chance so we'll see i just gotta get it up there it's gonna be short oh no yeah that's over i didn't realize all that stuff i thought i was gonna be pretty close all right just gotta put this close wrap up the video you should still win all right guys like i said i can always rely on my note to put me close to the basket glad to take down a win wait you know you botched that nova shot right oh yeah i just kept it rolling i
