What's good, Foundation Nation? Welcome to my second to last attempt at breaking 60, and today I've got Robbie with me. >> Yeah, baby. Let's get into it. >> No, but let's just call it what it is. We ditched the dead weight. Trev's gone. We replaced Trev with positive Robbie, >> but I dyed my hair. No, >> people were coming after uh Trevor for negative vibes in the last video. I wasn't feeling it during the video, but I went back and watched it and I was like, it does come across like that. I don't blame him. He did tell me before we went into it that he wasn't like feeling it that day. That it was up to me to get him in a positive mindset, >> which was a lot of pressure to put on. That's not what you EVER WANT TO SAY TO the person trying to break something. So instead, we just called Robbie. We sent our PJ down to pick him up. Private jet that is. And by private jet, I mean his own Chevy Silverado that he owns and had him drive in from Alabama specifically for exactly this video. >> Yep. Here we are. >> So here's what I really noticed last week or last month, I should say. This course not terribly hard to break 60 on if I just survive those middle holes, especially hole nine. So, we are going to do our normal thing until then. Then we're going to get to nine and I am pitching up. Take a bogey even, but just not throwing into the woods and trying to get a double or triple. That's really what's going to do it for me. >> What do you have to say? >> I'm team par all day. Always have been. And we'll get the birdies. Like there you you've birdied a lot of holes out here. So yeah, we just got to Yeah, >> he's probably across the series. He's birdied most holes out here. >> Maybe. I don't know. >> I don't think you've ever birded hole one until today. >> No. >> Hey, keep going right. That's actually fair. >> Far hole one again. >> No. If you're Yeah. If you're going to kick right, kick that far right. Cuz now he just plays uphole two's fairway and there's a little hiser gap in. >> I got a lane. It's a tight lane, but a lane down the left. Who's a lane? >> Nailed it. >> Yeah. Great shot. >> Oh, that's all right. That was a good punch. There's an inch glove. Take >> the hoodie off already. It's bothering me. I feel restricted >> cuz he's fired up, baby. >> I realized as I made the noise, it sounded like like I'm cold. I am, but I'm not throwing. So, >> all right, Mr. Heat Miser. That's what Con's saying. >> All right. I'm going to go NV here. Hole, too. Oh, Khan with the annheiser. Kick right. Kick right. Kick right. Yeah, >> that's a birdie look. >> Make it to the course. Stressfree putt. >> Take it to the course. >> Show me Khan. He had him putting. Show me con. He had him putting >> I got scared. I got scared of this tree. I'm not going to lie. >> Yeah, that was a good confident >> put to throw a forehand or a backhand here. What do you think? I like the forehand, but I'm a forehand. I'm I look for forehand lines. >> Forehand with the aura. >> Yeah. Show them that nasty forehand you got, dog. >> Man, I'm going to make this hard today. >> We're never going to find that disc. >> I'm going to make this as hard as possible. >> GO AROUND IT ALL. OH, >> IT ALMOST FOUND a foundap gap. >> That's all right. Yeah. Yeah, >> a little bit. >> Hey, Con, there's a lot of disc golf to be played. Okay, >> early thoughts on the forehand. I did a forehand change coming out smooth. I have no idea where it's going. So, I think I'm pulling it off the tea from now on. Okay. >> Except for on that one hole where you need it. This beautiful beat up DX Rock 3. Doesn't that just inspire you? >> Kick right. All right, get him down. We are going to have to hit a fairway. >> Yeah, I think some I'm pretty much ready JUST TO QUIT. NO. >> HOW DARE YOU? >> TOM, you can't you can't do this. You can't do this. >> You are literally like 6 in off of your line. >> Yeah. >> Which gives us so much time to correct. >> He's not listening to the words you're saying. >> That's great. If you were six more inches off, you would have been perfect. >> That's good logic. It's just one of those days we might just We might have already lost them. Typically, we can we can hold on to them till like hole eight, but I think we might have lost them. >> Yeah, we like barely hold my arm up. >> What did you do? I threw a million forehands at the Hydro Club Championship because I'm not a forehand player, but then I got excited about throwing a good forehand. So, I threw a million of them. It hurt my elbow and now it hurts again. >> Well, just throw backhands. Yeah, but that's what I'm saying. Like right here hurts. >> Golly, Con. Golly, >> you still par. >> That's true. Par four. >> This is awkward. >> Conor, what are you feeling right now? >> What? >> You seem very dejected. >> I am not having any fun. >> You realize that the people enjoy it the most when wearing the shoes you're in right now. I understand, but it just like I I I'm not anywhere close to where I want to throw and I know I can't be. >> That's what's that's what's meaningful. >> Let's get this out and then the next T. Let's just slow everything down. >> That was lucky as crap. >> All right, get up and down. Take our par. And then we're we're going slow. Next T. >> That'll do. >> It's just a park, huh? You guys are looking at the score. I'm not looking at the score. What are you looking at? I'm looking at what my body's doing and I hate it. >> I'm looking at what your body's doing and that's exactly what gets me excited. >> All right. This is the hole that feels like it's really really far, but it's up there. Like a blue aura. >> Do we need to stretch you out? >> I don't think it's going to help my I just have like a lot of elbow pain. >> Elbow. >> Yeah. It's like it's like right here is like excruciating. >> There's really no good excuse. >> There it is. >> Oh man. >> It's pretty headwindy out there. Literally one birdie and a par on nine away from being in basically the same spot we've always been in. >> It just feels It just feels like the worst I've ever felt ever in my life. >> Ever. >> Ever. >> Ever. >> Ow. That's short. That gives you an opportunity to make a puck. >> No. Stop. Stop. Video is sponsored by BetterHelp. It might that might be more than who we need to call. I'm not in a good place now. Right now, I don't know how to get out of it either. >> Just gotta keep throwing shots, man. >> I'm not gonna It's like the kind of place where like anytime somebody says something positive, it makes me more angry. >> You mean some negative stuff? >> Yeah. Con you suck. >> I think I just want to go sit in a room by myself. >> Stop wasting all of our time. Okay. >> How's that? Did that make me feel better or worse? >> Maybe he needs Trevor because he needs the enemy to be >> I think I might just turn into like a negative Trevor if if he's not here, you know? >> That makes sense. Like you need you need to like fight >> the negativity with your positivity. >> Come on, dude. You suck, dude. You're not going to throw this shot good. >> WHAT ARE YOU DOING? IT'S >> NOT WORKING WAY IN YOUR HANDS. WHAT do you expect this to do? Flip over and smoke weed. >> Cut roll for him. Cut roll for him. >> On this hole, we've been playing safe as in like just get it turned over. But I've successfully built up the repertoire where I have turned it over enough times. Now I think I need to turn it over and come back. But that's it's only because I've done well. Only because I've done well that I get to upgrade to that new throw. Let me explain to you where we are. If you par if you par this and birdie eight or you birdie this and par eight, you'll be three over. >> Yeah. >> So if we can par nine and 10, we'll legitimately be in like the same spot we've always been in. >> I know. I know. It >> it feels terrible. >> You know, I just I have Yeah. Yeah, I have a hard time getting out of it. I think I just came out here with so much expectation cuz I like played a good round for the first time in my life this past weekend. And so I was like, I'm good now. So I just got to I'm out here to play a game, not to be >> You got to come back down to earth. >> Yeah, I got to come back. It brought me It brought me down to earth. >> Yes. >> Get up there. Get up there. >> Okay. >> Just Just have to par. That's it. >> Yeah. I mean, it wasn't a failure. >> LET'S GO. YEAH. COME ON. COME ON. >> YEAH. >> That's a birdie. >> BEST ROUND OF MY LIFE. >> All that's in front of us is a pole n. We got a par birdie. Next hole >> and then we're right on it. >> Fastest emotional switch has ever happened. >> I'm sad. >> I'm happy. >> As Robbie just wisely said, 246 baby. That is the hole that we're on right now. 246 ft. >> That's how you measure it. >> I've heard these >> 246 babies. >> And line them up. That would be the length of the hole. All I'm going to say is I have heard these chains from the tap before. >> Yeah. >> OW. OW. >> YEAH, >> that's fine. >> That's a bunch for sure. I don't know where. >> I had to flex so many muscles I don't normally use to get that there, but appreciate that. >> Okay. Nature of the game this time of year. Ton of leaves. We cannot find that envy anywhere. We've been looking for it for like 10 15 minutes. um with four of us out here footage like six times. Yeah, we know exactly where it is. We've just checked this area. >> This is like >> it should be here and we just can't find it. So, two things suck for me. This is a really out of your hands moment in a round. One, I am just going to throw it from where we think it is with the penalty stroke. Um that's kind of what we play. The PGA rule, I guess, is rethrow penalty stroke. This is just kind of what we play. Penalty stroke sucks. And I lose that disc. And that's probably my mo one of my most thrown discs in my bag. Makes me very sad. But maybe this is just nudging me to like, hey, we need to we need to get that Shaman OS out because that's really what will take the place of that end. Golly, Con. >> Still feeling sad. >> There it is. There you go. >> We haven't missed left yet. >> Yeah. >> Let's just make that our goal. Just throw something that you're like, "This isn't going to turn enough." And just like try to hit this gap with like a little turn. Get down there left. Let's just try that new rock. >> New rock. >> Have you thrown it yet? >> Let's throw the orange one. >> All right. Hey. >> Okay. >> Holy crap. Did that ghost. It's all right. That was a far putt. >> No. >> Good kick. >> Good to go. >> That was a sketchy layup. >> Oh, that's great. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. You're making that. >> All right, Con. Here we are. We're six over on the front 10. It's on. We would have to go 10 under on the back is where my head was at to do it out the window. We're not going to worry about that. instead. New challenge. If you shoot underpar on the back 10, CHICK-FIL-A FOR EVERYONE. >> WHOA, CON. >> Underpar on the back 10. We're stopping at Chick-fil-A on the way back to the office. >> All right, that's huge. >> I was new challenge. >> I feel bad that I feel I feel bad and sad that this is the month that Robbie's here cuz he's dealing with a broken emotionally and physically Connor that was never going to be able to do it. And I feel like I'm wasting his time. >> That's okay. >> Well, you're not. said it's okay >> if he gets Chick-fil-A. >> If he gets Chick-fil-A, not wasting his time. So, here we go. Lady >> underpar on the back. >> That's all right. That's all right. We don't need to burn this hole. We don't need TO BURN THIS HOLE. >> NO. >> OH. OH, >> MAN. >> But I did have a game. >> What did we just do? What did we just >> pitch up? >> I Yeah, I was going to pitch up so I could take the next shot. >> You picked up in the woods. >> I didn't. Did you see what my disc did? >> All I saw was ruffling of leaves on the edge of the woods. >> I know. I threw it to the moon. It popped and went behind the tree. >> Yeah. Con. >> Yeah. >> Get up. >> Yeah. >> Take that. Oh. >> One, two, three, four. Just take a bogey. And then we got to get two birds. Could go in the creek. >> No. >> That's in the creek. >> No, it's not. >> No, it's not. >> Yes. >> Yes. Ah, >> all right. >> It's in the middle. >> You're good at those shots. You're really good at those shots, Con. >> Thank you, Lombardi. This is a fake Interstate Batteries destroyer. Uh, but let's see how it fly. This is the first time throwing it. >> That just makes me really >> Oh, off the bridge. Fish in the water. >> Yeah, that was a good shot. >> I got it. I got it. I got it. >> I'm throwing this rock. >> Love that. Love that. Here. >> Straight uphill. >> Yeah, that's up there. >> Up there. Hey, >> flet. >> Chick fo. That was so bad. >> Yeah, it's not a problem. Hey, three birdies. >> Yes, Connor. That's so good. >> Yeah, baby. >> Yeah. Sit. >> Sit. >> Yeah. >> Nice. >> That'll putt. That'll putt. Come on. Let's go. Let's hear it. We're getting Chick-fil-A if you birdie three hoes. This one's not your fault, Connor. Yeah, that's fine. Yeah. >> Oh, I love that. I love that, Connor. >> Lucky. >> I love that. Oh my goodness. >> Look at how birdie putt with the birdie putt. Let's go. >> Birdie putt. >> OH, that thing just ate your putter. And with that, our hope of Chick-fil-A might have just drowned. Holy freak. >> That was a great clip of >> Wow. >> Go four for four for Chick-fil-A. >> I'm going to go Shaman OS. >> Shaman OS. Okay, >> let's go. >> Yeah. >> Yes. >> Be a putt and that's not a good place for me to be. >> Four for four. >> Four for four. Four up. >> Four for four. >> Four is up, baby. Fourth quarter, four is up. >> My only thought here is, man, I really don't want to miss this putt. So, we'll see if that's enough. >> Okay. All right. >> I just really don't want to miss it. >> Man, I really want to make it. >> Man, I really want to make this putt. >> Okay. I like that, too. >> All right. >> All right. Well, no Chick-fil-A. >> This guy. >> So, I'm kind of glad I get to put it down. >> I've got no matter left in my arm whenever I throw putts. I've got nothing in me. Nothing. Not even a little bit. I can't get a putter to the basket. And I've got I need to be checked into a mental hospital. >> I'm I'm gonna be on the P2 holes ahead. I don't want to walk up that hill and I don't think I can help him. >> Listen, if you're a rock guy, you understand. Tell me this doesn't look gorgeous. Not rock guys, you guys are think it's a dirty disc. I understand. Golly con >> fairway grip bag on >> take your bag off. Take your bag off. You don't deserve that. You don't deserve to make that. >> All right. I'm a generous man. Ace Chick-fil-A's back on the table. >> Oh, >> ace here or the next hole. >> He's generous. >> No, throw something else faster. >> Faster. >> Gotta ace it, man. Just trying to give us the best odds here. >> Connor, you actually are a terrible human being. >> No, it got >> right. I actually got You have a putt. Here we go. Come on. Come on. Come on. Okay. Well, you got to put the bag down. That's just a lack of discipline. Ace. Connor. Ace. Conor. Ace. Imagine. Just imagine. >> Yeah. Skip. Big skip. Ace. >> Oh, >> this is my least successful month at trying to have fun playing disc golf. I completely lost myself out there. I'm not going to lie to you. As soon as I hit the tree on hole one, I lost. I was lost. Like I couldn't I could not bring myself back mentally from the very first shot. >> This is gonna happen to a lot of you out there. You're gonna find a moment that you get a chance to claw back and then the world just punches you right back in the mouth because we hit a huge putt on seven and it was like, "Okay, air's back in there. Lost disc immediately with hole nine on the other side." So sometimes it sometimes we just don't have it. >> It was just I was I was very fickle in the mind today. So any any little thing was going to make me lose it. It's not It doesn't matter how good I'm playing. If my brain is as weak as it was today, I will still lose the round. So I was never going to do it today. Next month though, after my I'm going to take We're going to do a new video on the lab channel. Can putting myself in counseling make me better at disc golf? Thank you guys for watching. You guys can comment mean stuff. It's okay. I don't mind. I'll see you guys next month.
