zach here with foundation disc golf hunter behind the camera today we're going to be doing a disc review and comparison today we have the harp the zone an a2 and an a3 we couldn't pick between a2 and a3 so we're going to throw both of those um but we're going to throw both backhand forehand and give you guys our thoughts then we're going to be giving away this harp at the end of the video so we'll see you guys at the end all right first i'm going to throw them all on hyzer i'm going to aim kind of towards that end soccer goal over there first we're going to start with the harp now we got the zone then we got the a2 and next we have the a3 all right so i'd say if you're looking for something a little straighter go ahead and go with that harp um i think it was the straightest out of all of those and then the a2 was the most understable uh overstable sorry and then the zone and then the a3 but they all uh flew nice in my hand um i mean i bagged the zone so that's what i'm gonna go with as my favorite for forehand but you guys can make your your decision all right so i'm gonna start off with the harp here i'm gonna be throwing them all forehand just flat out there uh i'm gonna throw standstills kind of like how i would in a tournament not full power or anything um just to kind of get a feel for how they fly like um yeah i'm gonna just throw them flat and try to aim a little left in the soccer ball so hopefully it fades back towards it that's kind of what i'm aiming for here but we'll see how that goes all right next up we're going to use the a3 i will say one thing about the a3 that i noticed i put in my hand is it's a little bit domier than the rest of these discs which i know has been a problem in the past with the a3 especially in 400 plastic but that's just something that i personally don't like and you might at home all right next up we got the a2 this one to me feels the most driver like which means that i like the feel of it for four hands i used to bag one i don't anymore uh but that's also something to keep in mind it has a low profile and a little bit sharper of a rim all right and last but definitely not least is the zone i don't really think there's too much to be said about this always flat always consistent i'm just trying to mimic the other shots that he's through the zone slipped out a little bit early it was the wettest of them of them all but hopefully you can still see the flight there uh let's go ahead and throw them on some annie and see how they react all right so i'm going to be throwing these on anhyzer forehand now going to get these a little higher throw them a little harder one thing to remember is they are all wet so it might affect the throws a little bit but let's go ahead and start with the harp got the zone a3 very slippery and the a2 all right so the a3 was the one that held the angle the longest and that a2 at the end you could see that it really dumped out right i did put it on some angle maybe not as much as the other ones but that does just show you how under uh how overstable it is all right so now i'm gonna throw these uh backhand flat and a lot harder than i normally would throw these discs in a tournament i'm gonna power grip them and see you know how which one stands up to power the most and holds it line plus how it fights out at the end so we're going to start off with the heart next we got the zone a3 and a2 last but not least so the harp i've actually thrown it a few times off camera as well every time the harp seems to hold a lot straighter than the other discs but i'm assuming that's mainly because it's in bt hard plastic instead of a premium lined plastic outside of that the zone and the a3 on those shots seem to fly very similar the zone had a little more height so it did have a little more finish but the initial flights and how they held their line seemed similar and then the a2 was just in a different class of stability it even had a little bit of a skip at the end more like you would see from a driver all right so now i'm going to be throwing all these backhand on hyzer um i'm going to start with the harp again just aiming towards the middle of the field see which one i think flies the best next i'll throw the zone i can't throw it all right so now that i dried off the zone i'll throw that i threw that one much higher not on purpose but you get the point got the a3 all right i feel like that one so far i didn't have to throw the hardest but i feel like i kind of pushed uh the most but we'll see when i get up there later now i have the a2 all right if you want to throw a dump truck or if you got a noodle arm like myself the a2 is going to be the answer but that one's definitely not going to be for me too overstable all right so now i'm gonna throw these um on some annie we're gonna throw them more kind of like i would in a tournament not as hard as i did last time and just see which one fights out which one holds it that was the harp i forgot to say that but next one's the zone got the a3 finally the a2 all right so my final thoughts on these um i think the zone harp and a3 are all very close together i think the a2 is kind of in its own class of stability um it's definitely a lot more stable but i do like the a2 from the fact that it's flat and it feels a lot more like a driver in your hand so if you're looking for something less justice like less like a justice and more like a harp but just kind of in that really overstable category i think the a2 is a good one it'll feel like a driver in your hand um but if you're just looking for an overstable putter you can't really go wrong with the other three my personal preference is the zone i think it feels the best in my hand the harps a little too deep and the a3 i don't like the dome and from what i've heard it's very hard to find it without the dome but one thing i will say is that zone or the dome on the a3 tends to make it carry a little bit farther on all the shots we we noticed it was additional 20 to 30 feet farther so if that's what you're looking for something with a little more glide then check out the a3 other than that my personal recommendation is the zone so one thing that we did forget to mention is that the a3 has a small bead on it but now i'm going to give you my personal recommendation we know that our study was a little flawed because the harp was in the wrong plastic but i would say that is the one that held straight the longest again could just be for the plastic i used to throw a harp but it was taken on my back for the zone i would say that the a3 and the zone are super similar they fly almost the same but the a3 does have a little dome hunter said he didn't like that i don't really mind it if you do have an a3 i would recommend just trying it out see if you guys like it it might take the place of your approach disc because it also seems to get another 20 30 feet farther as well that a2 is just super overstable but if you're looking for something really reliable i would say just go with that a2 now if you guys do want a chance to win that emerson keep stamped harp all you have to do is comment down below your
