Paul McBeth Course 3 Disc Faceoff

hey guys hunter zach and nick carl here with foundation disc golf and today we're out at paul mcbeth's home course um we're going to be doing a three disc snake draft challenge that's what i'm calling this basically what's going to happen is we're going to play rock paper scissors in a second we all went to play it again sports picked out three discs uh we'll go ahead and run that footage right now and then we'll get back and show you what we got hunter what did you just pick up there an old meteor that has oh i'm not gonna play with the numbers zack in mind yeah both aren't a versus well my number is buying it back well yeah i don't care about mine you can call me but remember he's the nice one i think's picking up some nice discs over there yeah because i might take one of these after the round if i find a good one i'm gonna try out a stream like this because i've never tried that before all right and that way we own it and i can feel these uses and make sure there's nothing i actually want it feels pretty stable that's that's what i'm going with streamline yeah i went with a company i've never thrown before uh lightning nice i did go with the lightning disk the way you said that all right so we each had thirty dollars to spend and it was kind of a strategy if you wanted to pick something good or something crappy because you don't know if you can throw your own disc but um i'll start and i have a beat up power macbeth force i have a lightning hx2 and then i have the warpspear so i got a pro dxl uh i got a streamline neutron runaway this thing actually looks beautiful and then i got a putter an ex putter which feels rather horrible but yeah pretty bad what do you got i have a champ colossus the dga proline squall and an exo a1 cool 350 plastic so now we're going to do is we're going to play rock paper scissors uh whoever wins is first whoever loses his third and then we're going to snake draft through these so if i was first second third i'd go i pick one you pick one you pick two you pick one i pick two you pick your last one cool all right that's good that's rock paper scissors all right do you guys say says rock paper scissors says shoot no rock paper scissors shoot yeah that's right okay rock paper scissors shoot okay zach beat me and nick carl beat him there it is one two three okay okay all right he's going first let's roll boys that's probably so loud okay uh so nick picks first so i could pick any disc first yeah all right he picked the force i'm picking the colossus and i'm gonna take the uh run away and then you can i pick again yep um i'm gonna actually take the war spear cool uh i'm gonna pick i think the squall what is this is it a mid-range it's a driver technically oh my god all right i'm gonna go with the a1 that's you i'm taking that i'm taking this it's yours i already have three um make carl's that's right there you go let's go let's do it what's up guys it's nick carl i just want to give you guys quick little uh rules for how we're playing this we're on hole one right now at paul's course um we each have three discs in order to play the hole we have to throw all three discs in order so if i throw the force first the xl second then i have to throw the a1 on my third shot after i throw the a1 on my third shot i can pick again which one i do but no matter what i have to throw all three discs hole one is going to be slightly downhill probably about 600 feet uh tails off a little bit to the right we have ob on the property line over here and other than that we're about to go all right excel let's do this oh there she goes holy freak it's very might have rolled out very flippy with my colossus oh shoot oh good kid nice we got the pro style hx2 from lightning i'm sure this won't be flippy at all whoa it's actually not it actually wasn't it actually flipped up but i it's still flying i threw that like it was going to be flippy so i'm in some deep deep food that thing flew out that actually flew very well that was great i'm excited now oh damn oh yeah saved by the tree no staying in the woods good shot still rolling it's not stable four oh that was straight what a kid in the water in the water it's gonna be a rough go at it nicholas oof that'll be a monday post is the water out of bounds uh it wasn't so stable all right so this is technically gonna be hole seven but it's hole three of our challenge uh we're playing from the long tee there's two trees in the middle of the fairway that are being cut out but they haven't been yet so that just makes it a little bit more uh difficult for us but it'll be a nice gap when it's actually done it's got to go with my lightning dish yet again here's the gap oh nice that is really rough over there oh whoa where's that bird biggest putt of his career he says that in every video that's cute look at that all right so we're on hole eight hole for the video uh score update i'm at 11 zack's at 14. nick's at 15. this is a par 5. it's going to go down across the creek and then up to the right um i have to see off with my mid and then i'm reset good shot a little more right than i wanted but it should be okay join me all right oh huge kick all right i mean it's up there sure decent no come on oh my gosh i think that's so soft no oh he did it all right here we are at hole five of the video we are going to be shooting uphill through a tight gap when we get up there there's gonna be two fairways that you can play through and it's gonna go up and to your right um it's pretty tight off the tee so i'm just going to go with the forehand colossus here we go cool dang it oh same thing i did we are on hole six of the face-off this will be technically hole 14 at paul's course um hunter has me by two has zach by two and i forget the total score but we're on hole number seven to par four or hole number six par four up the hill and uh i gotta force out the two no what the heck was that oh my gosh oh all right hold seven of the video hole 15 of the course hunter's got me by one and he's got nicaragua by two this hole is pretty much dead straight downhill with ob creek uh anywhere you're gonna be in the creek's gonna be uh out of bounds what was that i don't know i was i was like i said to myself you're gonna hit that stump it is literally so far away it's the smallest stump what the heck perfect let's go that'll be all right here we are in hole eight of the challenge hole 16 of the course me and hunter are now tie and we have nick carl by one you're gonna go through this tight gap here and it's gonna go all the way to your right um i have the colossus off the tee again after that resets me so i'm gonna throw another forehand surprise surprise you schmuck oh what a kick that disc is making your bag it's not though work okay got the colossus no well all right guys we're on hold nine the final hole of the foundation face-off uh hunter is in the lead by one over me uh and he's beating zach by two we are on hole 17 of paul's course it's gonna be a par four straight down the shoe and i think it's gonna tail off a little bit to the left so i have a reset bag so i get to choose what disc i want to go and uh probably going to go force forehand oh he pures it that's okay and he's the farthest fairway nuts best shot he's ever throwing his life yup shot of his career all right guys thank you so
