hello everyone we are here at northwood gold we are less than two days out from the world championships um we're doing the intro here on hold two because we had to run through some groups on hole one but hole one i was able to throw a great drive and what i'm gonna do right now is uh kind of just run through a practice round i'm we kind of got caught in the rain earlier so i just want to run through do a scoring round beforehand um so these guys with foundation disc golf zach and hunter will be following and yeah let's uh let's get let's get to it and get some worlds practice in do do so so we're on hole 11 now it's 380 feet um i forgot to mention earlier when we jumped on the back now i think that's really where the course changes these are all new holes but extremely challenging holes if you can get birdies back here you're definitely gaining strokes on the field and moving up that leaderboard so right now i'm playing pretty well just through a bad shot but i can see it right there in the middle of fairway should be easy up and down but again this back nine is the hardest stretch on either of the courses you know whether it's the front nine here or the whole front nine and back nine over there at eureka so this is where i think the tournament will be decided do so first of all i just want to say thank you for letting us follow you and film your round just have a few questions for you so you just finished another practice round here at northwoods and can you just go a little bit through your tax plan what's going to be out here yeah um i guess you could call the attack saying aggressive on this course i've been here for two weeks well over two weeks back to this one mainly this one uh because eureka is a temp course it wasn't in but a lot of practice here is pretty funny because i have almost literally two different bags for the courses because this one going to zeus a lot throwing the undertaker a lot um and my buzz as well so over at eureka sports sonic uh drone so this one i get gotta play pretty aggressive and i like it okay i'm shooting really good out here really excited for the world championships coming up and uh yeah i guess you can call it aggressive cool all right so this course what holes do you believe are like the separator holes give me maybe like two or three probably the separators and my favorite ones will be uh 12 13 14 15. okay um part five it'll be a hard stretch yeah i think that's the hardest stretch and it'll probably probably be the biggest stroke swings especially the five five um so yeah okay all right if you can give us a prediction of what hot round will be out here what do you think despite low 50s uh i think i can see some 54s maybe it's a 51.50 if someone shoots in the 49 that's going to be ridiculous yep uh low 50s i think will be hot okay and if you could change one thing about this course what would it be no i would the only thing i could change would change would be the settings like i think that's the cool little part but i think it could be i think that's why going off european style if they have literally just parked their dedicated disc golf if this was dedicated just to just golf that'd be pretty sweet but i love the course all right thanks paul appreciate again letting us ask you questions and follow you around good luck this week yeah oh i could change the humidity too yeah it's pretty our shirts are completely drenched i mean you can see it on his but mine is it's bad all right see you guys thanks for watching guys hope you guys enjoyed the video we shot the first eight holes this morning and then we had a huge rain delay and then six hours later we came back and then shot another 11 holes so in this video you're gonna see that paul's wearing two different shirts because it's two different rounds we're gonna put together um in this video you're gonna see he shot about a 56 but um if you combine the holes that we shot with the uh 11 that you guys just saw he shot about a 52 this round scorching hot i honestly believe this might be one of the hot rounds that we're going to see all week but thanks for watching make sure you guys follow us on instagram facebook youtube and don't forget our patreon there's patreon uh specific giveaways and like form critiques so go over to patreon.com and search foundation disc golf we'll see you guys next time
