Paul McBeth putter only vs Team Foundation doubles

how's it going everyone welcome to the first face-off of 2020. uh today we're joined with paul zak's behind the camera we're going to be playing zach and i doubles versus paul but paul is only allowed to use putter so we're going to play the full course out here at falling creek park 20 holes split into two videos the front 10 and the back 10. uh let's get into it let's do it so i brought out five discs today i have a big z luna two crystal lunas and then two uh rubber blade lunas so go with a little bit more overstable for whole one go with the slight hyzer here i think the winds play into that i'll take that one one so i clearly can't reach this hole um so i'm gonna try to make it a two shot hole and put myself on top of the hill so i can kind of go down at it on the second shot slow down wind oh it's as best as you could throw all right halfway there apparently still a headwind up there tired of this wind already but it's all tailwind from here on out so see if i can force this through this wind i'll put this one in sorry oh he's off folks all right up one through two uh this hole is pretty self-explanatory i'm gonna just try to throw my undertaker straight at it and see if we can't get close should be a little outside the circle just gotta give it some height oh yeah get left get left that's a putt though all right easy three well i got a chance what is it 465 no problem oh not that much though that's in the woods for sure oh so short wow all right okay that was impressive yes zach is a new man in 2020 nice this is another hole that's not reachable with the putter but maybe if i get a roller i can possibly get up there i'm not too worried about leaving it short so i need to make a move here soon not what i expected just get to the middle perfect placement well it could have been bad in a bunch of different ways but we got a nice little annie right now two that's a great shot i'll take it holy cow that dropped i mean they didn't have a chance of going in but it dropped crazy oh boy short basket holy skit blind holy crap oh let's pin thomas we both made it our second try so after that embarrassing miss two holes ago it feels good to get that birdie uh back within one this will be a tough one to get a stroke on but if i birdie and i think i won't lose one nobody's gonna ace it that's basically what i'm saying thanks go go yep it's a look get up no darn it oh wow let's go wow biggest part of his career run it in so far i'm gonna keep pulling that one out all right back up too but if i've learned anything we're not safe yet but this is another hole it's gonna be tough to get with a putter so hopefully put this close and go up three and have a little more comfortable lead that's short i am off today leave zach with the backhand yeah thanks yeah so my partner told me to go with the crystal luna here um and just throw it in tie this bad boy up real quick so i'm gonna take his advice throws it in holy cow oh what is that hit oh he'll be close back to one last one i was just trying too hard oh that's too hard hit that little thing oh it's a little muddy that works oh my goodness i've been hitting that spot all day so much hyzer so i've been making a lot of mistakes on the green it's making me be a little bit more aggressive than i want but ace can tie it up here and i'm still shooting for that 20 28 so here we go come on i'm not even floyd this is this is not a good start to the year finally yeah buddy all right wider than i wanted but it's gonna be good oh never mind got shot now i think my best chance of getting this one is kind of a soft turnover make a 30-footer i feel like that's been my best chance for the last like 10 holes so keep going with that just turn come on hitting the lines i want and just not turning the disk get under there parked it oh my gosh i mean that's not bad it's like 10 feet this is not a good start to the year yep yeah this one i'm running out of holes i think i need to get desperate here and really push this dead tree on the left and try to snake it around so i really gotta turn it over oh that's like four territory wow go you weakling up and over again oh that was so bad this is the first time i feel like i have a chance to actually gain a stroke in a while so i think it's it's time to clutch up with a few holes left stop just stop that looked like it went forever though so we'll see we'll see when we get up it's there time boys back within one and i think it's six down five down right now so we're not doing too bad but uh got some tough holes coming up for me wow oh my are you kidding me oh i'm stuck here i don't know if i should go over under because this wind i'm just gonna go over why not if i could elevate this thing back i got a chance oh that's it no no let it go win let it go that could be pretty good that can be real good hard to tell oh wow that's gonna be really far right it's in the middle oh heads up back whoo see that's what what the full all right this is definitely a two shot hole i missed the last one that was like that so i need to get this one in order not to lose a stroke finish left for me please hit that tree hit the tree go into the tree holy cow go around that tree wow yes that felt good how'd it look oh my it's god that oh my god that's it that's how you're gonna make it that's yeah that's how i'm gonna make it oh keep going straight get to the right there we go all right i'm still down two with three to play and then this is i think where the big the big annie is gonna shine with the crystal luna you know those 400 foot par fours i think that's that's where this just shines so oh i got a hold of it keep going that way no way oh thank goodness dude that one that would have been goodness get it back to one with two to go another part four i'm on a streak right now i've gotten one birdie in a row let's keep it up get in the woods no it's coming out no it's not coming out nice oh i sailed it but we're past the gap apparently that's a 200 foot drive drop no no let's see tailed at the end this wind's really getting aggressive here at the end so all right here we are hole 20. this is a new hole it's the only hole with like a lot of ob there's a walking path that goes around it we got a backstop up there but you can go under it which i'm hoping you guys do so 250 feet i'm gonna go with the luna on this whole surprise surprise this wind's been tailing it to the right so let's hope it doesn't here again oh he's out of bounds oh wow get out please oh i don't know i don't know i was expecting a little bit more right but we'll save well that's a good shot are you kidding me well one's this way right dang it all i still got well it's good to be here still we're stepping into hole 21 now aka hole 1. uh the wind's still picking up so they still have the advantage but i'm gonna keep fighting oh my god yeah buddy that's a tester are you ready the battery's about to die i need me to finish this real quick for you oh my god let's go no when zach is unstoppable man guys feels good to win the first face-off of 2020 taking down paul who cares who use putters if you guys already
