The Greatest Triples Disc Golf Format Ever?! | 3,2,1 Disc Golf Challenge

Watch on YouTube

The 3,2,1 Disc Golf Challenge is a brand new format that takes the traditional disc golf game to the next level. Players Ezra, Trev, and Hunter put their skills to the test at Timbrook Park (also known as Ivy Null) in a unique twist on singles play. The challenge starts with each player taking turns throwing from a triple shot, with the best score advancing to the next round. Strategy comes into play as players decide which shot to take and when to switch. With a goal of completing 13 holes and achieving at least 10 wins, the stakes are high. Losers must endure a humiliating penalty: soaking their disc in milk. To add an extra layer of fun, special edition discs can be purchased on site, with unique designs that have already become collector's items.

What is good, Foundation Nation? We're out here at Timbrook Park playing a brand new format, 3 2 1 with Ezra. Let's do it. [music] >> Ezra is in town for the Tour Championship. So, we figured the best way for him to practice is to come to Timbuk. It's the next best thing. A lot of people call it New London Jr. >> Yeah. They call it like Ivy Step, not quite Ivy Hill. >> That makes sense. >> Uh Ivy Null, maybe. 253. Par three is going to kick it off. How this format's going to work is all of us tee off and it's best shot triples there. Then whoever's drive we take doesn't play from that next spot. Then whoever's spot we take from there doesn't play. So it gets down to singles. Once someone plays singles, then we're back to triples. It'll make sense once you go. But it'll be strategy on who we take because like if Ezra throws the best shot and gives us a 25 footer, but then Trev and I put us at 30, it's going to be better to have Ezra putting from 30 than Trevor and I alone from 25. >> True. I think the goal I mean if we play 13 holes I feel like we need to get 10 at at least. If we do not hit the goal, Hunter and I will flip a disc. Loser is going to have to take a disc and soak it in milk. Um for the amount so each each stroke we miss a line by will be days you have to soak it in milk. >> Oh the same milk in the sun. >> Why milk? >> The same milk. >> Why milk? Because >> milk. >> The milkman. Shout shout out the milk man. Look at this. We even have discs now. >> The vulture. >> How about that? Delivering. Oh, look at that. Another color, >> too. Boom. Boom. >> You can get them on site right now. >> So, >> sorry. >> Make sure to check that out. >> We had thrown it around that we were going to do it. And I thought we decided not to. >> I think we also say that the disc has to be bagged afterwards, too. >> At least for >> cuz you just let if you just let it sit in there like you throw it away. >> Well, like Brooksie that was kind of part of the fun is like I can't touch this disc cuz it smells so bad and it's a >> discount. It kind of goes both ways. It's like are you willing to bag it? >> Glacier. See, that's good. >> Yeah, >> that's good. >> Yeah, baby. >> I'll take it away. >> Okay, I got to do my warm-up routine. >> Wow. >> Did that grass stain me? >> Are you putting that grass >> chapstick? >> Here, I got you. >> What the [laughter] What the heck did I just >> Oh my gosh. That's not my chapstick. >> That did not just happen. Wow, >> my lips are sealed. You know what I mean? [laughter] >> I found it back here. >> Never thrown this. >> What a time. >> Cicada. I'm going to try try to ace. >> Oh, you know, not as flippy as I would think. >> Didn't throw it very hard. >> It kind of had the like Ganon Burr swag to it a little bit. >> I like that it does the little die thing. [laughter] >> Strategy here. We're taking mine. So, I won't putt this. Ideally, Trevor makes this putt because then that gives us Ezra singles on the next TE. >> So, that's best case scenario. >> All right. Nice. >> That is played perfectionally. [laughter] >> Hole two. Little chip forehand downhill 260. Ezra is the only one throwing the T-OT. So, >> but we have three looks at your putt. So, really no pressure. >> Okay. >> Cuz we're good. >> I feel like you said forehand. So, like now we have >> Oh, it doesn't have to go forehand. No, >> I feel like the people viewing might get confused. >> No, you can go backhand by all means. We typically don't choose to, but we're also not in the tour championship. So, >> well, who am I to >> not do tradition? >> I think it's the best shot. >> You got to own this course. >> Oh. >> Oh, you should have went back. That's going to be great. >> That was great. Yeah. >> Oh, so bad >> strategy here. Trevor's going to go first. I'm going to go second. Ezra's going to go third if needed because we're trying to play the long game for whole three's T- shot. >> Yeah. Let's go. >> Yeah. No good. >> I don't even know why we said a punishment. Irrelevant. >> All right, hole three. Ezra and I uh Oh, I wasn't even intentional. >> There you go. >> Uh we're just going to pipe one up here and get a look. >> Well, that's not going to sneaky though. >> That's sneaky into that tree. This is a Buzz SS. >> Okay. >> Oh, super sexy. Is that what it says? >> Yeah, super sexy Buzz SS. >> That's funny. >> Bag. >> I didn't know that's what SS stands for. >> Yeah. >> All confetti. Yeah. Oh, confetti. That's fun. >> Yep. >> Oh my gosh. >> Kick off the TREE AND GO IN. >> OH, THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN SO SICK. [laughter] >> EASY. [cheering] >> I'm not going to lie to you. I felt I felt heck of pressure there. Everyone else is carrying their weight. I need to carry mine. >> Zero adversity. What are you putting with now? >> Emac judge right now. >> Okay. >> It's not going well. >> It's not going well. 160 ft downhill. Par three. Good to be triples on this hole. We have three ace chances. >> Yeah. It'd be bad if we mess this one up. >> Well, we'll definitely birdie it. >> Well, >> but can we ace it? So, how do you hold your putter when you're putting? >> No. >> This guy's a te like like that. >> Okay, good. >> Yeah. Okay. >> Ganon version freaking everybody out. >> Yeah. Paul Cray told me that Ganon tells everyone to straighten your fingers all the way out. >> No, that's mean. >> Does he do that? >> I can't. I mean, if it works for him, then >> Well, I mean, he's also a freaking nature. >> I know. His fingers are like >> cuz he said when he does it, his fingers come across the middle. I'll go first because I'll just try to get us close. >> Maybe we just be need to be playing with smaller diameter discs. >> Maybe >> I've been saying it for years. >> This one's for Andrew Lombardi. >> Do you're doing a collab shaman if you ace >> deal. Shaman bird coming in. Shaman. >> I didn't want that. You [laughter] think I wanted a collab shaman? >> I didn't. >> That's going to be fine though. >> Yeah, that's fine. >> Did it sit? >> It's like 25. >> Okay. >> But yeah, it's Oh, that's the line. >> Oh, so low. >> All right. >> Well, he's next to you, so he probably take your >> They're playing from Trevor. >> Trevor is too risk. >> Ezra is considerably closer. >> That's a lot of pressure. >> Good putt hunt. Single on the next hole. >> Uh, okay. Hole five. Trev's by himself. Trev's solo dooo, but we all three get to put pot, so he's just got to get us close. >> But he has the liquid chalk, so he's not solo. >> He's not solo. He's got his true love on his side. It smells >> I can smell it from here. >> Yeah. Kind of delightful. Kind of like I may pass out from that. >> But once it's applied, like it's great. >> Yes. Yeah. Oh, little little kick. >> DOWN A LITTLE BIT. >> OH MY GOSH. THAT ALMOST KICKED IN. >> IT DROPPED LIKE almost on top of >> that almost literally just almost tree kick. We're getting a tree kick for an ace today. >> Kev's parked. I'm eliminated from the next T- shot, but Trevor and Ezra are going to be great. We're cruising right now. >> Cruising for a bruising. Full six 250 par 3 Trevan Ezra Trezra taking this on. It's going to go rock and throw it in the basket. It's really simple. Oh, that was my worst shot ever. >> Liquid chalk. >> Trust trust in me on this hole. >> The super glue. The super glue of nature. >> Yeah, let's go. >> That's got TO BE IT. >> OH [screaming] GOSH. [groaning] WHY? >> Good job, Trev. I'm >> positive that's going to be >> six for six. Six for six, baby. Unfortunately, we're playing so good. We have triples on the easy hole, which means we'll have singles on the par four, which is fine, but it's just like we could have eagled it. >> True. >> So, it's okay, though. We could ace this one and then we'd have doubles. >> Pretty embarrassing from us in general. >> Well, no, we're just playing too good. I was going to say just stuck to my normal game plan. >> I'll just go I'll go I'll go normal zone. >> Oh no. >> All right. >> Almost exactly. >> Hey, no pressure. Just a 180 foot. Exactly. Like you're just stepping up playing singles. >> That's fine. >> Yeah, that's great. That's great. >> Yeah, that's like 20 something. >> I mean, >> good putt. >> I'm missing him. This is not a very dramatic round. [applause] >> All they do is go in the bathroom [laughter] with I figured it out during putting league this morning. If I normally come down here right now, I'm getting way more pop if I come down here and then versus I don't know. Might be something to it. Try it at home. >> All right, Trev. >> I'm going to rip the snot out of this. >> RIP. >> Yesterday you didn't you weren't out there. So, we were witnessing Gavin's >> massive forehand and we finally convinced Trevor just throw one hard. >> Mhm. And my golly, Trev's got a cannon in there. >> Yeah, he does. Well, it makes sense. >> So, he threw where he he threw the ether, this disc on forehand hiser >> and on hole 17 at New London and where he normally like dumps out, it was still flipping up and hit a tree like 30 ft up in the he ripped it. >> What the heck? >> Way too much gas. >> Are you going to throw a forehand right now? >> Yeah. >> You're about to see it. >> You think it makes more sense just to throw like a layup? Okay. Okay. >> Also, I've seen this guy has a cannon. >> Well, are you going to throw it hard? I'll try it hard. Okay, I'll try. Okay, good. Show. I mean, it's only 330. I think Trev's got like 350 in them. >> I bet so. It makes sense. Baseball. >> Look at that, though. >> Did you see the potential? >> That was crazy. >> Did you see the potential? It hit that tree at light speed. >> You're throwing this too, Trev. We're playing trips. >> Oh, it resets. That's good. Okay. Well, you guys just go first and I'll stand over here and think about what I did. >> Trying to [laughter] throw something up there and see what happens. >> Yep. You throw. We'll see what happens. >> That's what they did to me. You threw it up there. I'm seeing what happens. >> Okay, that's an easy bar. >> Fantastic. >> The gap's up top. >> There's no gap. >> No gap at all. >> Heads up, Connor. >> GOSH, I ALMOST DIED, DUDE. >> You're welcome. >> Thank you, Hunter. >> Holy cow. >> Wow. >> More stable. >> Not after that tree hit. >> This isn't even a real gap. >> As hard as you can, Trev. >> Hard as you can. >> No. Uncore. >> Done. That's We're going to kill that before it ever gets off the ground >> at home. >> I mean, knock the bark off the tree. The guy as soon as his arm gets up here, it just stuff starts. >> That hurts really bad. This is behind my line. It is legal. I don't think that looks like it's helping. >> I don't think that's a lot. >> Okay. [laughter] >> I wanted to convince them. >> You got to do it. >> No, I can't. All right. He says, >> "Yeah, baby." >> There [applause] we go. Trev Hunter was right about you. >> That was really difficult and hurt a lot. >> Now, why he look so good doing this? >> He can do he see what he has that little >> at the end. I don't have those. >> Fast USGC edition coming. Black Friday, baby. There's no secret things about this hole except for that there is a wagon wheel on the right. Look out for that. >> Yeah, it might rock you, Mom. Oh, what the heck? >> Oh, he's wagon wheeling. >> Wagon wheel. >> Oh, like a southbound train. >> Three looks at that. We can't go back to back pars, guys. Can't happen. >> I guess I can take the slammer out of my bag now. >> I only use it for >> You legitimately like, all jokes aside, you unlocked something yesterday. >> I can't do it. >> How am I It's like It's like the shark and like I'm >> If shark I did tell him the sweep's the new shark. It's unfortunate. >> Sweep. >> Yeah, his bag. >> Look in my bag. >> Did you take it out? >> That's big of you. I was like, >> you know, I had pop. >> I kind of feel like you were scared of the barb wire. I'm not going to lie. >> I saw your hand. You went way outright. Way different than you. >> That was like one of those pain channels. I would do anything it took to like purposely fall into it. >> He was scared of the barb wire, too. >> You were scared of the barbed wire. >> All scared of the barbed wire. You guys were all scared of it. >> We were all scared. Wow. >> Okay. Well, missed this hole. >> Yeah, I got >> I'll take Edger's lie. >> 2 2 m from that. >> I get two me. There's barb wire in the ground. I get 2 m. >> Oh, >> pick that up. One, two. >> I can't get the bra. >> He always keeps barb wire in his bag just for that. >> It's Ezra Solo yet again. We're putting them right back in the pressure cooker. >> Same disc basis, same shot. >> He's self-proclaimed best shot in his bag. >> That's great. >> That's a good one. Yes. Fantastic. >> Yeah, we're good. >> Trev has self-sacrificed. Doesn't want to play the next hole. >> So, he's going to do the >> does anybody any good. >> He's going to do the tap out here. >> All right. On the We're going to jump over to 16. >> Three holes left. >> Hole 16. 200 some feet on the edge of the hill over there. Rev sitting out on for this one. So, just me and Ezra. Uh I'm going my Sky Bros. Headwind. Nope. Going to zone. Oh, >> that's down the hill. down the hill. That is terrible. Four. >> Sometimes there's a teapad down there. I've seen people get hit. >> That's better width. >> That's much better. >> That's not bad wind. >> That's bad wind. >> Oh my god. >> Well, boys, we're going to be on the line. >> Let's go, Hunt. >> That was important. >> So, we're We still got one to play with. >> Yeah. >> Yeah, we're fine. >> Hole 17. Back to trips. We have one. We can miss one. So, we've done it. Go for it. But not me anymore. >> We've done it. Kev, stop that right now. >> I'm never going to stop if you The only way I can beat a bit is by out bidding it. >> That's our kind of >> We're not doing a bit. >> I can't balance. No, legitimately the the people who watched that Gavin video. >> Throw a good one ever again. >> It's okay. But the people who watched that Gavin video saw the potential. >> Did you have you tilted? Have you tilted since you tilted in that one video where you tilted and it was so good? >> Tilt? >> Yeah. Where you tilted your body and then you were able to throw it on his? >> That is beside me. What about that? Did you ever go back to that, Trev? >> I don't know. >> If one of you two throws inside of 20 ft, I'll throw a forehand. >> Deal. Heck yeah. I'll bless you guys with another shank for Mine will look just like that. >> That one's inside 20. >> Pretty close to 20. >> 25 maybe. >> Very confident it's not inside 20. >> Oh, that's inside 20. >> Yeah, that's inside 20 in. >> That is inside 20. That's >> in 20. Check on this side of the hook. I'll go step it off if you want. >> How about this? Trevor, how about this? If we get down there and it wasn't inside 20, I'll cut silence will cut your throat. >> We'll cut your throw if it's not. >> Promise. >> Well, we'll tell Silus. Silus, if that throw was not within 20, cut it. >> Yeah, >> for real, though. Like, I actually mean it. It has to get cut. >> Yeah. >> Okay, >> do it, Silus. >> All right, I'm going to throw the No, I'm not going to do it. You broke my trust. >> I didn't do anything. >> No. Hey, Hunter did what he was going to do. We had to see if Silus is going to do. We told him what to do. A sauce is enough. >> S is not enough. >> S is not enough. That's not nice. >> Do it for Trevor. Just do it. Just do your old forehand then. >> No, that one didn't work. >> Do three four. >> So, you agree that the forehand's better than your old >> Wait. Yeah. What if Ezra just asked you to do it? >> Can you do a Trev? Look, I'm like 7 hours from home. I came all this way. I would really love to see you throw a forehand. >> ALL RIGHT. ALL RIGHT. ALL RIGHT. >> ADD in a little as hard as you can. >> As hard as you can. Oh my gosh, Trevor, dude. Look out, Trevor. Look out. >> Trevor, [applause] dude, [cheering] Hunter was right. That was sick. >> Oh my gosh. >> Show the bicep. Show him the bicep. >> Show him, Trev. Show him the bicep. >> No, the car was in danger. The car was in danger back there. >> Right. Cuz we could afford another par. >> Let's go. Hut. >> But if Ezra accees first try on 18, he does what Paul Cray couldn't. >> True. >> So >> your face, Paul. >> Take that, Paul. >> 165 par three. Ezra by himself. Ace time. >> Whoa. [snorts] >> Maybe maybe another 10 years 10 milk on top. >> Wow, that's a lot of pressure. >> 10 year 20 milk. >> He's the boss. [laughter] >> All right. >> And I'll give you unlimited forehand videos. Oh shoot. You might have actually done it. >> Oh. >> Oh, thank goodness. We We would have never recovered from that financially. Yeah. I would have had to lay off Silus. >> That's a lot of >> Oh, no. [laughter] It's only cuz he's editing. >> Let's go, Hunt. Oh, freak me. >> I'm sorry. I'm sorry, Hunter. You got this, Trev. As hard as you can. >> Ow. Re, dude. Reow. Rethrow. >> Wow. >> If you thought you were going to milk us that easily, you got the wrong cows. >> You got the wrong cows. Anyh who, >> hey guys, buy a milkman disc right now and then come back to this video and said, "I got milked >> in Europe and the USA." >> Yes, you get milked all over the world. See you in the next one. [music]
