What is good, Foundation Nation? We're at Tim Brookke with Paul Crayons playing with actually this time the weirdest discs that have ever been made. >> We've done these weird disc videos and every time we just end up getting our hands on more and more weird stuff. Have you Have you seen these? >> Oh, there you go. That's the hexagon. >> All the rage right now. >> I've never thrown a weird disc before. So, >> never. This is Well, we've got a lot for you. >> Tilt's the weirdest. >> Tilt. Okay. Well, that's on the board. Tilt's on the board. But, you know, the doomsday. This is the oxymoron, also known as the cheese slice. I know this one goes like >> Yeah, though. They're great, right? >> Yeah. It's another This one actually flies pretty >> If you have to throw that off of this hole where it's already downhill that it might actually go into the orbit. >> Yeah. But, uh, this will be fun. So, we have them all on a wheel. So, how it's going to work is we're going to spin the wheel. Whatever it lands on, that's your disc for the hole. >> Throwing, putting, everything. >> And then your score obviously follows you. You can't use a disc twice. So, if you've already landed on like the bunker buster, you just spin it again. Uh, but like if you've used it, I can use it. Trevor can use it. But the goal for this video is we want every disc on here to be used at least once. >> That's the idea. >> So if we get towards the end and it's like, hey, we really just need to make sure someone gets the hexagon. >> Somebody's throwing. >> We'll figure it out. You're going to see every disc. The hexagon is definitely I think the weirdest. The squares up there. We have the training wizard, which is like a 300 g disc. That's always fun. >> We actually have camouflage discs as well. >> Camouflage. Yeah, these were ran for April Fool's Day. I'll pick the one that's like most likely to get lost in the hole. And no helping. Just you holding the grass one up right now is like really it's pretty funny. >> I'll spin first. We'll see what we're doing here. Hole two. We're starting on hole two down here. There's an event going on. So one and 18 out of the video. It's like 10ish whole loop. >> We'll see. >> But hole two is where we're starting. Straight downhill. Part three. >> The funny thing is this is actually one where you might want to get a terrible disc because it's wide open. >> Yeah. >> So like you can you don't have to run gap. Yeah. >> The beetle. >> See like that's kind of a waste of Waste of a >> It's not a waste if you make birdie. >> True. Cuz this is a great disc. >> It's just a It's just a catch disc. >> It is a great disc. >> Yeah. >> Nope. >> Nope. >> Watch out. Watch out. Watch out. Where'd he go? >> Oh, >> I flipped it all the way over. Water is OB. It's on the side. >> Water's OB. You >> want me to go next? >> Go ahead. Yeah. Give it a spin. >> I wasted my >> You know, I've always wanted to do a wheel spin challenge. >> Yeah. >> So, this is my first ever spin. The >> first spin for this golf round. The monstrosity. Monstrosity. >> It's that blue driver in there. You'll You'll see what's wrong with it. >> Oh, it's this one. No. >> Nope. >> Oh, it's this one. It's this one. >> That one. >> Yeah. Just look at the bottom. >> Yeah, you'll understand. >> Oh, it's oval. >> The rim is different. Uh different width. >> Do I want a wide street a wide speed driver or a fairway? >> That's it's your choice. >> Your choice. >> It's player's choice. Drip, drip. >> You are absolutely correct. >> Correct. And that >> is not good. >> Has anyone ever been over there on the channel? >> Probably not, actually. >> Especially seeing where y'all are at right now. Like, give me something gross. >> Bunker busters. That's fine. >> See, I'm good with that. Like, I know what this >> Yeah, it's just a That honestly just a t-ird. Or is this the flippy one? >> It's flippy. >> This is the flippy one. >> It flips up. But actually, like with a forehand, like I think I should be able to play this cuz it's the size of a dinner plate, but it actually flips up. It's not that flippy. >> Oh, it is pretty flippy. >> Wow. We threw some bad shots here. >> What a start. >> I mean, that's like puttingish. >> Yeah. >> Yeah, >> it's puttingish. >> All right, let's just try to get a couple threes. >> He's out. >> I mean, that's a putt. That's a putt. >> Oh my gosh. >> Oh, really? >> One of the more interesting putters. I mean, it's like it's kind of a handicap. It takes up so much space in the basket. >> Tell me why that's like actually such a straight flying putter, though. >> It worked. It worked well. You're good with drivers. You always have been. >> It's a good thing about a wide rim disc is you're more likely to hit metal. True. >> That's a good point. I am going to >> a lot more real estate. >> The only advantage of this is uh you kind of get a bit more of a putter feel with the uh >> Yeah, the shallow part. >> Oh, no. >> I don't advise driver putts for Champions Cup. Kind of the thing about driver putting. It'll do that to you. >> Everybody down to our level. That was a good putt. >> Putt. >> Okay. >> That's the difference between you and us. >> Yeah, we would have definitely missed. >> We miss at least one more of those. >> Three tunnel shot, but the tree fell. Oh, you're >> Oh my gosh. >> Yeah. Much bigger. Much bigger gap now. >> I have like such mixed emotions because I'm like, yes. But I'm also like a little sad. >> It's kind of a bummer. >> Yeah. >> But I'm also like, yes. >> So, a little bit easier. Still a tough hole. >> I feel like that was kind of the Lord's work taking that out there. That's very convenient. >> The monstrosity. >> See, that's I think pretty good for this hole. >> Yeah, I just learned what it does. >> It's a flip up. You You got information. >> I think I'm going to go with the mid more mid-range side. You haven't seen the bottom yet. >> Yeah, that's kind of what what we're working with. I want to see you throw right over where that tree used to be. >> Nope. >> Oh my. >> Wait a minute. >> Oh, did it kick left? Oh, it did. >> All right. >> Middle of the fairway. >> That was a really weird way to get to the middle of the fairway. the junior disc. Now, this is a fascinating disc. >> Yeah. What is this one? >> Oh, this is that one. >> Somebody brought this disc by for me because they were like, "Hey, you should have your kid try this out. It's a junior disc." So, basically what AGL did here and Hunter actually deciphered this for me. This is the inside part of an over mold disc. So, like there would normally be an overmold that attaches here and they figured what if we just took this and kind of pitched it as like junior because it is smaller in diameter. It's like >> And it's lighter weight. >> And it's lighter weight. So, you'd have to imagine they call this the junior driver/mid. It's both. >> Why not? >> That's kind of how golf sets work. Like, they'll give you your seven/8 iron. So, I guess that's what they're going for here. It's got to be flippy, right? You would think it's got to be. It feels pretty crazy. >> Oh, it's gorgeous. >> No. >> Okay. That's a terrible spot to land. But actually, it's a usable flight. >> It's a usable flight. Yeah. >> I had a bug land on me, so no one saw where that landed. I freaked out. >> Oh, it's on the left side. It's not good. >> Well, and I was zoomed in on the left side, but like they didn't see it actually land. >> I just want any disc that isn't the hexagon or floaty guy. >> Beetle. >> Okay, >> that's fine. It flies like an ultra star. >> Yeah, we'll manage with that. >> That's the right idea. Oh, it just didn't >> Oh, just didn't move it. >> Just held it. >> Oh, I love that. >> Oh my. Okay, it curled. It's going to >> Oh my. >> That's fine though. That's a good up top. >> Just curl it up there. I think threes are going to be pretty good in this. >> I was trying to throw a little Annie. Give it a run. I didn't. But you know, it's fine. >> Threes are going to be good. >> Oh, no. >> TRAGEDY. >> OH, >> I THINK MY introduction to this to this channel, >> everyone's got to go through. >> I'm feeling it. >> This is the full blown foundation effect. >> Whoa. Come to Timbrook, miss some putts, hit some trees. >> Simon always says like the first first time on his channel, everybody feels the nerves. But I think this is worse cuz you >> take that, Simon. >> You kind of have to like >> Well, cuz you're playing against guys that have reputations of being like circus clowns. So if you lose, >> we did we did bring you right into our uh brought you down to our level. >> We've thrown all these discs. >> A great shot. That's >> got a long look to save his three here. Oh, that's stuck to my hand. >> Uh oh. >> Feel great about that. >> Yeah, that's another tester. >> I basically have to just let that fall out of my hand cuz it's sticky. >> Just for fun. >> Look at Casey. Wide it. >> Well, I remember there's a video you did that on hole one. >> Yeah. Impostor. >> Impostor. >> Yeah. Everyone turned on me quick. 160 ft par three straight downhill. I kind I think I won a bad one here. >> I mean, I think it's kind of a win-win. If it's like a if it's a good disc, it's like, okay, I can make bird. Good disc like I have to make birdie. >> Bad disc just like >> bad just takes the pressure off. >> We got that >> likes monstrosity training wizard. See that's when you want to make birdie. >> Yeah, I'm okay with that though cuz >> that's a good that's a that's one of the best discs on this. >> But I'm saying this is a good to get it out of the way here because like if I got on a longer hole I couldn't reach it with this. >> Mhm. Not a hole we're going to play today. Hunt. Are there some holes out here I couldn't reach? >> Not one that we're going to play today, huh? >> Oh no. Get through. Get through. Get through. Get through. Get through. Hit the tree. Get through. >> Yes. >> Oh, what a take down. >> Also, I like putting with it. >> Yeah. Well, it's a good >> I'm pretty good with putting it. >> I kind of want the oxymoron for the clip form. >> Oh my gosh. I IS THAT >> almost had it tilt though? >> It's a good hole to get rid of the tilt on. >> Yeah. I don't hate that. I don't hate that cuz I can burn. >> Throw it upside down. No, >> it would be better. >> I'm going to chop it. I'm going to chop it. I mean, my goal is to get into that ditch, though. >> Holy cow, that thing is stable. >> Yeah. Always is more than you think. >> It's just always insane. It really >> Oh, you had to throw a forehand roller if you want to chop. >> I kind of want the Do you got the koi on here? Yeah, you do. >> Yeah. >> I want the koi just to shove it in the front cage. >> That would be fun. >> Oh, called a shot. >> All right. Have you ever felt a disc this soft? >> No. This is a salt. >> Yeah, this is also the gummiest one we have. >> I can already feel it. >> It tries to hold on to you. >> What do you think? >> Do you like it? >> Is it flippy? >> I want I want >> What' you learn? I was just trying to make sure he gets as much camera time as possible. >> Well, the other thing is I'm really making sure that the audience knows how difficult these courses are. >> That's a good point. We appreciate that. >> There we go. >> There you go. See, it's not going to slide much. Oh, there you go. Yeah, that's good. You can go through the front cage there. That's just >> that's a further putt that I had. >> This would be big. Making a two. This would open up a pretty big lead. >> Oh, that you really you went for it. Oh my gosh. I don't know why, but through the camera lens, I thought that was skipping towards me and I thought I just died. >> That's a four on the easiest hole. >> We're putting up some pretty great numbers right now. I'm not going to lie. >> Of course it's tough. >> Of course it's tough. >> Thanks, Paul. All right, for the koi. >> One of my biggest weakness is a soft putter. >> Oh, no. >> Same. So, I don't know what. >> Are you going through the cage? >> Well, I use my bottom three fingers to push up on the putter. >> Oh, that's not going to go well for you here. >> Oh, no. You pushed up too much. You pushed up too much. >> I got too excited with the par idea. >> Oh no. >> Oh man. >> This is the full foundation effect here. >> Go straight to jail. Do not collect. I don't think I've ever felt more embarrassed in my life. And I was homeschooled, so I had no opportunity to feel embarrassed. >> It's okay. We've done this for seven years straight. Did you just lay up? >> No. >> Oh, okay. Good. >> We'll break out the calculator after you tap out. >> Just leave a leave a comment for my misery, please. >> There it is. >> There it is. Huge putt. >> Six. >> There you go. Hey, I got two pars one hole. >> There you go. The good news is like Paul, you'll never have to throw that koi again in this video. >> And the other good news, you're still not out of it because a square disc on one of these holes could be an eight. It's >> true. Knowing me, it's probably going to be me with hole five. Probably >> got a pretty juicy lead right now. >> Probably the hardest hole we'll play today. >> Yeah. I mean, this one and six will be both kind of difficult cuz like you have to make up distance. >> We need him to get something brutal right here, though. >> Hexagon. Okay. Not. It's not as bad as a square, but it is tough. >> I think I'm going to go right up the middle. >> Okay. >> Oh, and by right up the middle, I mean right side. >> It's coming back, though. >> Wait a minute. >> That's like an easy three. >> Got to be lucky. >> I have a birdie putt. >> I mean, I missed my gap by >> 15 ft. 15 to 20. >> Miss big. >> And apparently that you can go through the right side with a backhandiser. >> This is a sport where you want to miss big. >> So yeah, >> camo disc is what? Just a just a >> judge, I think. >> Missile. Perfect. I can throw I can throw the line on one. I know these things are valuable. We have like two of them that we just use for these weird videos and people like they're sought after. >> Yeah, I think I got that in frame. >> Called that. Perfect. I >> think I got that. >> There was a time when I was pretty good at that shot. >> You got to start coming left cap. >> I suck at it now. >> I don't want anything on this board. >> The bunker bus. >> Bunker. The big one. >> This is fine. It just flipped. I don't think I actually rode it. I brought that roller disc, but I think I had two discs for >> That one's fun. >> Okay, we're gonna substitute. Nobody's gotten the Raging Inferno. If anybody gets Raging Inferno, it's not that exciting. It's just really flippy. We're throwing the roller disc. >> It's gonna go down the middle. >> All right. >> And uh >> right up the gut. >> Yeah, this is like This is the play. >> There it is. How much that flips >> flipped all the way over. >> OH, WHAT A KICK. WHOA. >> OKAY, that's like a putt though. >> Yeah, take it. >> That would have shot like directly 90° and gone in. >> That crazy. That's a T- shot. That went where it was supposed to go. >> There you go. >> That was terrible. Oh, went through that little gap. That was fun. >> That's another forehand. You've done it twice, so now you know what happens. >> You think it's just right gap? >> Considering you've already done the forehand, Annie, a few times. Probably. Yeah, that. Okay. >> Oh, guess what though? Oh, I think I have another chance to throw for him any >> now. He's learned no tree. >> 30 long. >> Got to be kidding me. >> Heck a birdie. >> I'm not going to lie, it gave me a lot of joy watching Paul hold that ginormous disc as a putter. That was pretty funny. >> Oh man. I think I'm just going to try to not par a single hole. >> All right. >> Now I just need to keep my lead safe. >> You need I need you to like roll something that isn't even on here right now. >> Six dead plus 10 on here. >> Go straight to jail. Let's see here. >> Yes. >> Okay. >> That's not great. >> This is our chance. We need Hunter to take at least like a five and we got to make twos. >> Yeah. >> Then we can get back in this. >> But there's a lot of ceiling so you can just throw it low and then up the hill. Throw it. Hopefully let it ride. >> This could actually be a sick clip. So get out of the way of this after you throw it. This could be insane if this goes well. >> Oh my gosh. >> Oh, I mean that's good for us. Okay, there there is hope. >> Well, you're second. >> I liked it not to have hit that stick just to see kind of what happened. >> That is like the perfect hole for this disc. >> Hexagon. >> Okay. Okay. That is >> not bad. I mean, it feels weird, but >> saw you grip lock it. I'm going to aim over there maybe. >> Ooh. >> Oh, he cured it. Look at that. >> Yeah. >> Well done. >> That's putting a good shot. >> Come on now. >> If you ace with the koi, we'll give you a signature run and not Tyler. >> So, come on. Loves in this one. >> Don't do it again. Monstrosity. I didn't have that. I actually like the wider grip. >> Oh, that's beautiful. Go in. Kick in. Oh, I just caught the wrong side of the tree. >> That flight was fun. >> That was a good flight. >> That's really Oh, that was I say that was >> I really wanted to just like match the angle of the hill. >> I mean, looks like you'll probably make a four from there, though, which is no big deal. >> I think Connor said this is what this this was made for if I remember his video correctly. >> That's exactly right, Hunter. >> So, this should be it. >> Oh, did you see what it was doing, though? >> Let's go. Not really. >> It was It was going to work out really well. Oh, I might have made it. >> We got to hope that he might make a five now, Paul. >> Wow. >> Hexagon with it, Trevor. It'll be perfect. >> Yeah. No pressure. >> Oh my gosh. You're right. >> Two under right now. >> I know. And on two difficult holes. >> Yeah. >> As well. >> Misses. >> Oh yeah, baby. >> Your wish is my command. >> This is big. >> That's huge. >> Within four. >> That's like at least striking distance. >> Well done. Wow. >> Come on. >> 180 ft. And uh I finally have a tea. So, let's get somewhat of a good disc. >> Camouflage. That's the roller disc. >> Oh, the roller disc. >> So, >> we don't know anything about this really. >> This disc was given to us at Disc South, but it's supposed to be better at rolling. But obviously, you probably don't even want to try to roll it right now. >> Yeah. We have no idea what this does. >> We don't know what it does. Never thrown it. >> All right. Are we assuming that it's like a symmetrical? >> Well, that's No, it's supposed to be very symmetrical that if you get it down, it doesn't want to go left or right. It wants roll straight. That's their claim. >> I want to get in an open field. >> What was that pop? >> Oh, okay. Thank goodness. I thought I thought he was about to be like, "Yeah, my wrist is broken." But the disc that thing is more overstable than it tilt. Interesting. >> How do you roll that? I guess it makes because if you think about the discs that like roll the straightest on the ground, they're very overstable. Like Firebirds, >> I think it's a forehand roller only. >> Yeah. Who's ever going to get that? >> No, it might be a forehand only. >> As you can see, junior disc already had it. >> We might have to switch our strategy to whatever we're closest to. >> Square. Let's go. >> No, I can make a three with that. >> You could. >> That's the thing. Like I'm I think >> you're not going to, but you could. >> All right. It's going to be >> throw it into the hillside. >> Kiser low. Oh. >> Oh, that was so close. >> Spin something else on her. >> We're about to see an ace here. I could absolutely see it. >> That's what I'm worried about. I could see it. >> Yep. There it is. >> Oh, it's good shot. >> Oh, it was really good. >> The bounce back stats are >> That's not going to be great that he's about to get strokes back on both of us. It's not great. >> Throw it to the ground. >> I feel like you're goating me on when you say that, but I know that is what you have to do. Yeah. Just don't know why you're encouraging me right now. >> Just cuz I had to always remind myself of that. >> Cuz that'll happen if not. >> Well, I The height wasn't the problem there. I just turned it. >> I don't know. What do I expect? It's up there. At least that could have been worse. >> That might be the time to roll it. >> No, I'm considering uh >> I mean, it followed the >> Here's the thing is it held the angle. You know, >> more testing. >> It could have been the sidehill, but >> yeah, >> we there's a lot more testing needs to be done. Oh, >> wait. >> Imagine imagine the straight rollway. >> No pars for cran. >> Let's go. >> 30. >> Nice. Well done. >> 330 par four here. >> This is probably one of the last really important spins before you get to a lot of easy holes. >> Next gun I've already had. I think starting now whatever next spin whatever you're closest to that you haven't had because it's >> we'll say going to like my right >> missile had that got to be the luckiest ever literally the best disc you could get for this one >> nice Hunter really good Hunter >> big old skip >> oh pity me it's way up there >> it's up there but we got a giant skip that could be a hard birdie Trev >> yeah exactly >> some of us have personal goals >> for the record this is what it's like playing with Ganet or playing against Ganon Burr. >> Yeah, >> just the luckiest person ever. >> Yeah, >> I am Gan. >> The better I am, the luckier I get. >> What's the other driver? The blue one. The dotted one. >> That one's no longer on the table. It was replaced. It also It sucks. You didn't want it. >> Okay. >> Built. >> Okay. >> You can throw that upside down and make it work. >> I've never thrown a toe upside down. So, >> it makes it fly just kind of like a Firebird. >> Really good. >> You like that? >> No. Yeah. >> Oh, yeah. Really good effort. >> Yeah. Come on now. >> Wow. >> Upside down tilt. Everyone sleeps on it. >> That was the play. >> I wouldn't mind a koi here. >> You just have to wheel. You just have to >> What the heck? >> Nobody's gotten the camo disc yet. And it is the best disc in the bag cuz it is just a few disc. >> I'm not good at throwing these just cuz they're so soft. >> Just fan grip it. >> That isn't going to do. >> No, it helps. >> I will fan grip it, but I suck at fan gripping, too. Soft kick off the tree though. Soft kicks. Every hole we rotate. Who's going to be the guy that throws four shots before anybody throws their second? I'm the guy. >> Oh, boo. >> Boo. Everyone boo him in the comments. There it is. That was really well done. >> I just needed that. >> And you see how it's not understable. >> Hunter, dude, I don't need to lecture you, but when we were just out filming, >> did you see that flight? Oh, >> we were ripping it. >> We'll go unbiased third party. Was that an understable putter? No. >> Okay, get wrecked. >> That's something. >> The highrise, >> huh? Well, that'll be a putt. >> Oh my gosh. >> Had a chance. >> No, I'm going to go forehand right up the gut. >> Oh, okay. >> Yeah, >> that's up there. It's a five. >> Just don't say whatever gut you're trying for. jams it. Oh yes, Paul >> hung on to my hand >> door open a little bit. I don't know how this >> unlike Trevor. I'm not a good driver putter. >> Oh, falls back. Paul's back. Paul's back. >> Come on now. >> Oh, that even could have been another miss. >> All right, we'll try with the tie me on the hole. >> I can't really go through the cage on this one for folks. Nope. No, cuz it's a small cage. >> It's a big cage. Four gaps. No, >> I'm just going to try to get it in the basket. >> Boo. Boo him in the comments. >> Would that go against no cage November? >> If >> Good question. >> If I went through the cage. Absolutely. Absolutely. >> Try it. Try it. >> See, that's why I wound up like that. >> All back within somewhat striking distance. the monstrosity. Okay. What are you closest to? >> Oh, camo disc. That's what you got. >> Camo. Uh, probably got to be the >> probably the pine cone one, you think? I believe >> I think the leaves. >> This is just a good disc. >> Regular. >> It's just a straight putter. >> What's What happens if I lose it? >> I >> You got to rete. >> Just rete. >> Yeah. >> With the with another >> with another cam. >> Yeah. Okay. >> Good thing we have three opportunities. Three chances. Don't think we're going to lose that one. >> Oh my god. >> Oh. Oh, it's standing up. I can see the rim. >> You can see the rim. >> Tilt. >> I don't have the tilt yet. >> Okay. Why don't you like be a man? Why don't you go upside down it like you've been telling me to do? >> Okay, sure. None of us have been able to figure this shot out yet. >> You know, that was a pretty good Oh my gosh. Oh, that >> was a pretty good flight. >> Yeah, that was fine. >> Yeah, I was >> I am Bear's bike. >> Uh, Training Wizard. >> I think that's the one I want the most cuz I did offseason training with with a weighted disc for speed training. >> Really? >> Yeah. I messaged you about it cuz I saw you were doing the 500 foot thing. >> Did it work? >> Yes. >> Wow. >> I in the winter 30° throwing over 500 feet cuz I was trying to, you know, throw a weighted disc. >> Interesting. I never broke 500. So maybe that's my next one. I trained with a weighted disc for 30 days. >> It's so heavy, guys. It's going to get really lucky. >> Wow. >> Wow. >> What was that? What did that hit? >> Cloud of sand and dirt that flew up there. >> Huh. >> It's such a straight putter, though. >> Yeah. >> Another one. Another one. Oh my gosh. >> Left never fails. >> Well done. You remember how Mc Beth had that like lofty >> Yeah. the 2015 >> dove down. >> Absolutely. Cuz he used to get so much bar down. >> Like I I'm happy when I hit the basket here. Not happy when I hit the basket here. >> Yeah. It never comes out down there. >> Yeah. 180 foot. What was this? 10 >> 10? Yeah. 180 foot par three. I had to go just like two over. >> Yeah. We'll do >> There we go. Junior disc. Okay. >> Junior disc. >> I'm kind of excited. >> That's not bad for this hole cuz like it was controllableish. I know when I went to the MVP warehouse last year, they showed a bunch of overmold discs that didn't have >> Okay. Yeah. >> You've seen you've done it before. Have Did you throw them or you saw? >> No, I'm just seen them. >> That's such a good disc. I I'm going to give them credit. If like >> that throw is representative of like a junior drive. It's an amazing junior drive. Like it goes 200 ft dead straight. I think if they can just figure out how to uh get the rim to be not so jagged all >> Yeah. >> Yeah. It like look like a normal disc. >> If it was just an actual >> disc. >> Oh, the roller or camo. >> I I did say we would go to your right. >> Yeah, it's a roller. >> I ain't got to roll it. >> I don't think I got to do anything. >> You don't got to. But you should. >> I'm going to try and roll. >> It wants to turn like in the air. It started to do that. >> Interesting. >> I think >> we haven't figured it out yet.
