We Throw Farther than David Wiggins Jr.?!
Watch as Team Bogey Bros puts their distance throwing skills to the test against world record holder David Wiggins Jr. at Lynchburg College's largest field. The team sets out to break Wiggins' record by using different discs and techniques, including the Atlas disc golf Scout rangefinder with radar capabilities. From starting with a 360 power to taking on smaller discs like the Thunderbird and Rock 3, they'll handicap their throws until they can beat the world record holder's distance. what is good foundation Nation we're out here at Lynchburg college and the biggest field we could find because we have the world distance record holder David Wiggins out here and we're gonna see if we can beat him in a distance competition let's do it all right so the premise is simple we're going to start it off just Heathrow as far we throw far see what we're looking at here right I've been told that we're probably pushing over 600 for him Trevor and I you know traffic practicing is 360. I think that might go that might go 420 uh so there we're gonna start there then we're gonna take the 360 power away see where we're at for him and then we're gonna go down to a Thunderbird see where we're at probably have to go down to a T-Bird see where we're at realistically we're gonna go down to a rock 3 and see where we're at and then um honestly we're gonna have to go down to an AVR yeah and see where we're at so just handicap them until you guys beat them that's the plan uh you clicked on this video because it probably said like we beat David wig in the distance competition we didn't lie we didn't say what he was throwing what we were throwing I'm team bogey Bros I want to see you guys win technicalities for the win all right so we're gonna start it off with uh you know what Trevor you open us up I got it oh actually Silas you need to get on that I'm going down there you're just gonna stand there like this yeah so Silas just where where at the Disco you should give him a disc to hold up to shoot I want to shoot him all right what with the range the rangefinder today we're gonna be using the atlas disc golf Scout the brand new Rangefinder that Atlas is bringing to the market it has I believe it even has a radar capability my favorite feature in it is you can set it to like the uh it's like a golf mode essentially that you can shoot uphill downhill and it tells you what it plays like so if you're shooting uphill to tell you the degree of uphill and then the Target that you're at it'll...
