hello everybody welcome back to the 2018 FeO D park opened in Cleveland Oklahoma my name is gabled and I'm here with Bobby Cox what's up everyone we've got a great card going for you at just a beautiful park we've got a lg Larry Gardner mr. L gizzle himself - down leading the card Brandon Katherine's gonna be two back and then Brandon Hickey and Angel Mullen has really just had some bad luck so I hope that they can bring it back together here on the back nine yeah absolutely we are starting here on hole 11 because we did start on hold - this is gonna be a part three 250 feet this is really just a must get birdie you've got a it does it is an island hole so you really will see some Heiser's spike hyzers that's really the ideal play something that will just spike down because you really can't afford to take too much of a skip on the screen yeah either I got spike hyzer with like a fairway driver or just overstable midrange mhm LG's going with the forehand yesterday squeaks it over the road I'll have a putt there and this hole is actually pretty scared because you can't really see the OB behind the basket it looks like oh this data barely stayed in I think he threw a justice there it was really stable and Andrew putting it up wide this is looking good looking very good yeah there's there's a birdie opportunity for Andrew oh yeah here we go senior Brandon Carr thorne we have all four in bounds I think we are yeah that's great LG extending LG's got it one of the fastest players in disc golf yeah it's really hard to catch all the shots yeah it really is it's so difficult like he just looks at his line and executes and he's so good I respect it yeah I respect its I always like to joke around and tell them like slow down like we're trying to actually catch on film but I'm joking cuz I wanted to ruin anything yeah with a bird very nice and Trevor good to see par for Brandon all right hole 12 par 4 this is a signature hole this is the I'd say signature here I mean it's just beautiful this OB row to the left carries all the way down to the basket so you really just want to ride this right side throw a safe shot ideally you'd like to get down by this picnic table that's kind of behind the drone right now and then you'll have a pretty easy hyzer up shot to the basket if you go OB there is a drop zone probably I'd say 150 passed the basket yeah hail to the left yeah just right there with that T signs that mm-hmm we got LG and that is waste you know he says slow down though nope and it didn't that looked like it found the water yeah I know and that's actually pretty easy to do on this hole yeah really if you get something to go a little bit too straight it just soars it's gone it's downhill yeah it's so fun it throw off the tee yeah it really is it's downhill and that's a great shot by in true mm-hmm yeah the super safe play is something I like to do yeah just throw the four yep just like Brandon is doing right now yeah when you throw in the 14 you're pretty much taking yourself out of the equation for a three mm-hmm really playing for the four because I like right there that's a really far shot he came up to the basket yeah but it's safe it is a par four though yeah yeah and that's looking really good that just needs to fade out a little bit oh yeah yeah that's perfect that is the perfect shot now that's the ideal landing zone right there your player pin-high with the grill you're solid and look how ballsy this is by LG just gonna straight over the obese that was like incredible Oh such a good shot yeah that was really good great recovery shot by LG it Hawthorne's hanging this out just a little wide but this is what the whole dusty kind of forces you to go way wide around the tree makes it really hard to get to the basket for a three-putt yeah he had that pretty wide though yeah he could have hugged it a little bit more Andrew this is looking like it's yeah that happened on the tree that is very frequently really got a judge of the distance on that tree pretty well and brain is just playing this hole perfect get up there and that's that's basically a tap-in three right that's a very special three yeah does not happen very often this I'd say a three is a stroke on this field for G yeah yep LG giving it a little run it's a surprising miss from LG yeah usually makes those 120 footers cough thorn just a little bit of a late release there par looks like an trees starting to kind of relax a little bit and just not worry about anything it's really awesome having a course so close to Tulsa that has a bunch elevation yeah we see that a whole lot in Tulsa yeah it's about the same distance as the lodge mm-hmm about 30 minutes yeah for you yeah it looks like we're gonna have to parseint birdie and a bogey not too bad not bad at all yeah and this place is just so beautiful look at this yeah this is an awesome part definitely check out they have a lot of sites for RVs and tents so I mean you can even make a weekend out of it this is definitely like a hidden gem oh yeah I'm the yeah Tulsa area for her all right we were on the hole 13 this is a par 3 it's pretty downhill it's 301 feet most people will be going big Heiser over the trees on the right you will also see the forehand play over the left side I mean there is also a straight gap as well you can pretty much choose whatever you want to throw yeah the straight guy was probably the sketchier gap but it's still very doable and Brandon kinda turns that over a little bit but he's still putting really any bad shot it you just still got chance for two yeah as long as you don't go past and right water right yeah and that is the rest with like the big highs are the wing kind of can turn it a little bit too much and can be in danger and it'll be a little bit short there yeah looked really goes it should actually just not quite high enough yeah it looks like Andrews lining up the big Heiser no straight it's going right at it yeah I found that tree I think it might have kept going a little bit here we got a trooper going a big yeah and this is really the ideal play he's right there yeah cuz it's downhill 300 feet I mean if you can get it over those trees it's gonna make it to the basket change is just left here we have caught the word from a little bit outside the circle any company doesn't make this to catch up with LG here knowing that he's pretty much part that's just left nice play by Andrew putt by Andrew part is not really ideal for this hole but they'll take it out removing the three down that's so good I hear cop following with the par as well LG just slowly pulling away taking that stroke back that he lost last hole all right and we are on to hole 14 this is probably the easiest hole out here it's one of them yeah yeah I mean I'd say it's easier than it's just that elevated basket to me kind of makes it seem a little bit harder but that's just me I can't put a pill yeah yeah just an open wide open shot that that's about as close as you can get without dancing it that was a ctp hole and say oh yeah I got close to CTP was to Canada right he just obliterated that CTP yeah that's a great shot as well you know LG is walking out of every tournament either with a spot or the CTP all right it seems like he's always walking away with something burning with the Heiser I think when we get a whole lot of skip there yeah it was kind of a weird bounce might have been the downhill Andrew took his sweater off and now he's ready to go he's ready to rock and roll throwing it wide hoping it skips up and that's not gonna be a fun putt on that elevated basket yeah let's see if you can knock one in here ah just hi yeah and it seems like every time I I try to put on elevate basket I air ball and go twice as far alright then what yeah I mean that's the risk it's so yeah mental games yeah we got caught thorn for his bird actually ended up a little bit closer than I thought yeah he did yeah and he's gonna be at two down now yes good putt knowing LG is right there uh-huh yep and he's gonna hold it two strokes back from LG see if Brandon can knock in the bird and he can't he is one big now hopefully he can make his way back to even LG with a great shot I think they're trying to figure out how to do the CTP because I don't really think there's anything to stick it in that hole there I don't think I so worried about oh yeah you can just kind of say that you landed literally next to the pool yeah exactly inside the inside the brick yeah alright we were on to hole 15 this is a par 3 it's three hundred four feet it's pretty much your standard forehand hole the turnover is really hard because there's a tree right in the middle with some branches but I mean I guess I had forehand skip shot all day yeah he was trying to aim your forehand kinda at that tree and just let a highs LG's not gonna flex don't know if that was intentional or not but he's down there puttan no he's right there yeah yeah yeah you really just have to get because the baskets pretty right so it kind of takes the turnover out of play because it's hard to get that perfect angle you need a sketch to help you out yeah and that really uncharacteristic from rinin just a little bit of a late release or early release earlier they say yeah and and she's gonna try that roller yeah he stone roller didn't get the wrong angle yeah roller he's gonna be over by one steep ad yeah really shocking to see Brennan this far away yeah he's just gonna lean up there's OB behind the basket too so you do kind of have to be careful of overthrowing it getting too much of a forward skip injuries just laying up as well LG for the bird oh man he gonna gain another stroke buddy then yeah that was just too high and Brandon Hickey with the CTP well done is back it even yeah he's starting to catch fire now yep way to bring it on back mr. Hickey in the disc golf community here in Cleveland has been so supportive of this course yeah it's really awesome the first tournament they had out here there was a bunch of locals out here watch India I think one of the was it this one of the city counts deliverance or something like that yeah yeah came out to the time just got permits so pretty awesome it really is and oh man oh man oh raised yourselves everyone brace yourselves this is hole 16 the hardest course out here at Theo T hardest hole out here their hardest course hardest hole maybe in Oklahoma yeah I'm gonna say that arguably dude how's the knot it's uh let's explain it yeah so you have a dead straight about 280 to 300 foot tunnel uphill pretty tight as well wide tunnel a bajillion trees to the left to the right and then you also have an OB Creek carryin all the way down the right side so you really can't get a trigger you can't get a kick right you guys uh I mean you're gonna end up taking a six I should mention though across the creek is inbounds it's just in the water his OB okay okay and see in even though he's like three feet off the fairway he is in an awful spot if that can get right oh that looked great I mean it it just faded a little bit too late yeah your droit returned a little your drive really needs to land right where you're standing right now yeah that's like the only spot to attack the basket do three yeah now wouldn't be surprised seeing some mid-ranges being thrown in this hole yeah just dead straight it's just hard to get a mid-range all the way up there cuz it's pretty uphill I know a lot more uphill than it looks on camera but even if you're done with donut like 250 like tree like on the fairway you'll have something you know yeah yeah there's really no no good way to play it yeah and this is actually not a bad spot I mean as long as you're in the fairway you can get a forehand down there and at least take a par yeah if you were to through that a little bit wider he actually might have made it down all the way down the hill yeah he just kind of saw that one off an LG just gonna skip down there yeah you saw some work to do yep this is oh and he is gonna kick right bees and bounce yeah he's in bounds I mean he's three feet off the fairway and I think it is usually OB to the right they just played it a little bit more lives this tournament yeah which definitely makes this whole a lot easier oh no man in that found low B yeah that's in the water that's unfortunate and that's just what you see on this hole really it's if you're not in the fairway and you don't have a clean look down the tunnel it's so hard to get to the basket need to throw a little patent-pending shot here turned it over just a little bit too much he'll have a long look to save his for and any hit three and crossed the water but it's stealing back yeah so fortunate there and look how fast we get LG go thirty deep yeah shouldn't wait for the cambio oh I'm just kidding Elgin yeah my place is for a for yep have to tap in his five we're just honestly not not terrible no it's it's so hard now geez coming up short mm-hmm he's gonna have to tap in for a five as well I believe very good pop I call it thorn s that's damage control mm-hm kind of that's gonna put them back at even and bring in kind of skipped off the basket he'll make the comebacker though and he could a guy now that was a three that's crazy yeah need you to shave the bogey it's playing much better this this back nine yeah definitely all right this is uh I call it the Colorado hole the most uphill hole of all time yeah probably in Oklahoma and Oklahoma steep and yeah it's like climbing a mountain just got to throw a like a fairway driver or a mid-range just straight uphill there is a lot of trees down the left side in the center there is a little gap your LG you just type it straight down the missile middle and miss every tree do that yeah that's that's part yeah and you're stuck I see skips because those rocks on this whole yeah I mean you got to land it up at the time it's just straight up perfect example just a chance of a rollaway this is looking nice come up a little bit short the cats are still cranking and Brenda nice just making all this 31 times but usually has like two or three fellas clip it on my floor down and hole 18 this is a pretty treacherous hole as well you just got this tight little gap that carries all the way down you've got this road OBE that's all the way down the right side so you really can't get a kick to the right either 375 feet it's it's a bonus birdie for sure I've only seen one two on this hole my Randy for sander shout-out I'm shocked yeah but um yeah as long as we keep it low on the drive and somewhat straight you should be able to make some progress in tasks oh yeah you really just want to clear this gap which it looks like Oh almost out of there clean the thing is there's a lot of sneaky limbs down this fairway yeah they're hard like you could have a disc soaring and you're like oh that's perfect and then next thing you know you get a kick straight down you're just like what and dangers gonna have some trouble down there we got some yeah it's pretty treacherous down there as long if you make it like far enough down you're okay yeah and you're like a little forehand drive the basket but in the middle of those trees it's it's awful yeah not fun and so far no enjoy how to get drive yet yeah see if Brenna can toss one up there that's yeah that was a guy yeah yeah I remember that well this is outstanding like I like the upslope and I was trying to dodge it then I kind of tripped and I almost fell the classic FEA T with the awkward footing you know even the cameraman get yep tortured by it yeah but yeah cockle are ended up with a pretty good shot there and ain't around a better lie that I was expecting yeah that's like you were saying though it's I mean if you end up far enough down there you have a look and that's gonna put yeah you know it's gonna come up a little short and that's nothing this greens covered with Tracy yeah it's completely covered it's hard to have a clean putt a - feels like an eagle on this hole really Cothran with a good up oh ho so close just off the top and that's when you know LG's feeling it I mean all this misses are so close just well oh yeah that's kinda the trend for Andrew this round was just barely well mm-hmm just had a lot of bad luck behind trees and kicking tree right unfortunate double bogey from Andrew there you just must go get some lunch and yeah try to get in the sound for a second round yeah and that will bug you from Brandon it was really unfortunate cuz he's been playing pretty good this back nine yeah cut himself back to even unfortunate bogey from LG there alright we are on to our last hole of the first round this is hole one at faerie Park 287 feet you'll see pretty much anything you can see a forehand around the left side Heiser over the right side there is a little bit of an branch that kind of hangs so you kind of have to throw the Heiser low and skip it off the road yeah the forehand lines probably the cleanest line yeah I far yeah once he passes a couple of trees pretties in this this is looking really nice just a little deep it look like it might have nicked that tree yeah a dozen gonna skip back LG's going with that low hyzer shot oh I so from my angle whatever I was watching that I thought that was for sure tin yeah it looked like it and you scone with a dead straight shot which is looking really nice yeah he's been thrown a lot of those just straight shots and so the Heiser is this round mm-hm and I was perfect I respect that Brandon's going with a little bit of a higher line he kind of started on the little left side of the pad to like take that tree out of play that was kind of cool yeah who's sneaking it in him Brandon way to finish off the round yeah too big I here's really not that bad at all yeah it's not bad see if and you can salvage of mm-hmm it's like it's like on replace it's like the same spot of the cage every time it seems like yeah good birdie by Brandon Anne and he will end up under par yeah and LG puts him at 4-under par great round by LG yeah he's played clink all fall all round really mm-hmm Andrew and you're trying to have fun I hear yeah yeah thank you much awesome well that's gonna conclude the first round of the 2018 feo tea park open we got Taylor Sears who shot a hot round of 40 era 51 LG right behind him and then we actually have a four-way tie for third we got
