welcome back everybody to the third annual first Katherine classic this is the back nine this tournament is held in Guthrie Oklahoma my name is Gabriel Dowell and I'm here with Bobby Cox how's it going everyone we've got an awesome round going for you guys Kota Hatfield Kelson Griffith in tears all one stroke within each other battle battle going on here bow Tillman and Mike Scribner are a little bit behind they gotta stay positive yeah let's see if they can pull together here in the back nine first all the back nine we got Holt Anne this is a par three once again we apologize we do not have the official distances for this course there was a lot of new tee pads well another basket and stuff like that so it just didn't happen so this hole is actually gonna be a little bit deeper to the left so it kind of brings the big Heiser in play you might see some guys there little touch fairway driver shot down the middle and that's gonna be a little bit left yeah me swinging out pretty far right kind of like over where I'm at an orange kind of right over my head that's the aiming point pretty much like that it's looking good oh my gosh that is just parked how do you ya know Kellison is taking that more risky route yeah I think he got flat and it was supposed to go highs with a whole lot yeah that's just a tricky line to go that low through all that but I mean if you're confident with your release and yeah I mean if you hit if you hit the line it's it's definitely there and like Bo just did it's well done like taking over the top it's looking pretty good yep find a tree I can't remember with Ashley's ended we'll find out pretty soon who else's that's gonna be a long tough along come back here yeah yeah cutter just going ahead and getting all the way for everyone and this is where Taylor ended up way too deep in the trees have no spot I'm gonna throw a pancake yes I said pancake pancake / tomahawk yeah I don't know if it's like a regional thing but here in the Midwest a pancake is when it slides on the top of the desk basically no he's frustrated with that did not have a chance to stretch boehmem Taylor he's got two strokes on Kelsey assuming he won that hailer though with a great birdie starting this back nine off right yeah sigh from that unfortunate Paul or was it a bogey on home mine yeah yeah besides that he's been killing it's like last five holes either part it I think I think he party got a different hold anybody and I was and Mike actually end up like parking that yeah he end up being like 10 feet out and for a birdie by him all right all right this is hole 11 par 3 this is actually going to be in a different position we actually caught these guys yeah we move in the basket like yeah so this one's gonna be a little bit further back and a little bit to the left so as you see here we've got coda going for the huge Heiser yeah there's a there's a lower gap cut on the right side and it's still pretty sketchy so you have the arm over the top shot I guess is the way to go but yeah it's a very tricky hole you really got dodged trees on this one yeah just kind of poking pray looks like Bo's done that pretty well here yeah and he's still not really putting yeah I guess he's putting but he's not in a confident range on that a little high as well as leaking right - yeah he'll be pitching up from there yep super low route is he hoping this kid in that that I think would have gotten pretty close if it didn't if that route yeah it might have caught a weird skip at that hill angle but I'll just have to lay up there yes he'll snap to that really unfortunate bogeys don't it really high in the air but missing everything Wow and he's got the best Drive of the bunch yeah and even this up shot sketch yeah just a one tree didn't one hit don't worry I'll be all right there's like a little back shop on yeah use death applying that he'll it was good upshot my tailor can here's Mike for par what that beautiful disc he's been throwing no it's not so beautiful anymore spell for to not the best run but he's up there for Davin yep yeah thanks looking to make this one and this is this has got to be one of the few holes I hear what you're really not expecting to birdie for is that a five it's a five yeah good par say bye Kuroda and Kota actually shot at 10:48 rated round first round off that is a solid round right there yeah it's not bad looks like he's maintaining the lead pretty well as well he now has three strokes on Taylor and I'm starting to separate himself Caroline Kelson are gonna have the popping some birdies here but this back nine is or yeah this bag no it's definitely the more treacherous part of the course yeah longer holes a lot more elevation change some sketchy Obie's oh yeah right we are on to hole 12 this is a part three different position than last round last round we were where Bobby is right now in the horse water there but it's actually pushed back further about I'd say 80 feet to 100 feet it makes it a little harder than hurting yeah that's a lot harder cuz I mean the position last round wasn't that easy no not at all this one you really I mean you throw something that has a slight turn over late you got the perfect height first of all which yeah very hard to do he's already thrown at uphill I mean you literally just have to throw the perfect shot and then that's another super common thing when you're throwing it high you know it highs without way faster so you got to give it slowly turning as well mm-hmm that's looking really good yeah just a little bit higher yeah it was probably soared probably to the basket it was about two feet higher off the ground and Taylor just put out a good-looking job but it looks like it's hiring out too soon and yeah easy through though yeah you really just don't want to go too far left or too far right if you're on the fairway you're fine yeah we've got Kelson get back on that birdie role that needs to flip and it doesn't but he's gonna have an easy three yeah hopefully it's not pinched off too much look like yeah a nice close-ups where you can pretty much a good job yes leaked a little bit too much yeah really about where calcine landed and fell with the better trickiest upshot off the group Kota I was actually really good out from where he was that that's awesome I have a tap-in three it calls me with a little patent pending action here and that's gonna be a 20 yes about 20 footer you should be able to convert that yeah I mean overall he's been putting really well this tournament mm-hmm and Bo just going for everything at this point I feel like why not I was looking good initially see Mike's gonna try and land this as well good a good height get up just yeah here's Calcifer poor he really needs this to stay in it can't afford to lose any more strokes oh yeah great pup bike else it's a bunch of pars it's kind of what you I mean that's what you'd expect unless someone just totally shanked it mm-hm yep I'm definitely coming back to Guthrie I didn't actually get a chance to play this course I walked through it obviously filming it but I'm definitely planning a trip here soon Taylor with a nice par just gonna be tapping in here's three as well really hoping to see Mike turn on here and finish strong this point he's trying to just make it to the cash though and boom I got some fun yeah all right we were on the hole 13 this is a par 3 same position in this last round one of the trickier holes out here really it's well not quite as tricky as the last hole but this hole it's uh I mean you want to throw something straight maybe slightly turning keeping it in balance is like a absolute victory it's yeah it's very difficult to do it's so easy early Kobe on this hole and there's the drop zone because of that fact yeah and this load is leaking way right and there's an OB line down there as well but that that's going in the water s doesn't worry about the line yeah so that's OB yeah so this pretty much places in island I mean aside from behind the basket but it's it's hard hard to get all the way there hard to stay inbounds and even I mean that looks so good out of it as well yeah so good out of the hand it's still find yourself OB yeah I'd say if you have a big bore end I'd that'd be the play just to keep the thing in bounds yeah even if you're not gonna get the distance to get all the way up there just getting balanced take your theory and Taylor's finding the OB as well yeah unfortunately the or the drop zone is only like 50 to 60 feet off in the basket so you can't put a good run on it but I'll surprise to not see co-chairs I get shot oh yeah oh yeah that is a great shot we're gonna say I'm sorry I'm also surprised to see Cota go with the trend all the way there oh yeah I mean he's three strokes ahead I would have thank you would a play it safe you know just kind of lay up right in the middle yeah oh yeah I dream and that's funny I'd be as well I think last round every single Drive window be and here's where the job sunset yea last round is but was only one that was in balance and heels way on the right to count down the hill and he had a really tough but so this is an absolute bonus birdie not only that if you get a birdie you're almost guarantee two strokes on at least two people oh yeah and Bo's just laughing at this point yeah I'm sure in his head he's thinking okay how much cash can I possibly get here if I hurry that febrile do you just Kelson for two it's be huge I want about they'll win yeah they're now us for anything else for a double right yep or no that was for bogey okay that was for for this is for the double oh man yeah it's really surprisingly not to see more four hands on this hole yeah Sam I mean it's kind of understandable with the Obi to the right as well but I mean the turnover it's just so touchy well in it's like gusty outside - yeah it likes me tap in for really unfortunate triple bogey dropped him down to one down here we got coda yeah I guess Nelson was the only one that didn't get a bogey all right we are on to the hole 14 par 3 it is in the same position as last round OB line carrying all the way the right side pretty much that tall grass is OB it stops right here though it does it does stop like right around that powerline pole yeah right before the basket so they'll see straight Heiser pretty easy hole oh and that flashes the basket it's gonna end up deep there though yeah and I don't see why anyone would not go for the Heiser here yeah that's pretty much right there oh yeah super wide but he knows what he's doing thankfully what he's doing looks like both go for the straight shot yeah yeah that's just fine Taylor who's now four strokes back from Koda yeah he's still in it barely yeah he's got four holes but that's not gonna be an easy task he's got the plate perfect he's gonna have to hope that Koda messed up well boom yeah I mean honestly kaylynn Koda he's gonna meet an ace yeah especially on this course Acer - honestly they're out there I'm yeah they are out there for sure which is Kelson I believe so yeah it is cuz he went a little bit deep yeah yeah about like 50 he's kind of camouflaged in that grass just a little bit right he desperately needed that putt here's Taylor for birdie that was looking really good the whole way yeah man he puts it so much Heiser I forget almost every time yes but he hits metal every single part yeah he doesn't have any like shanks yeah he misses it not by much oh yeah Mike unfortunate miss there yeah might just you can't quite pull it together right now I'm assuming it's his first time playing on camera and that's not an easy task oh stop yeah little bit nerve-wracking scope Sonia yeah a nice bready from bodo back to ten ten down kota just keeping it trucking okay he's doing this thing for sure oh that could have been some controversy if mrs. Nelson oh all right hold 15 right hold 15 this is gonna be a par 3 it's um you've got two gaps you can hit the one on the Left which is a little bit more risky and then you also have a big Heiser route on the right over the top which is I'm assuming what most of these guys will be doing yeah the big highs are out like it's definitely there the gaps not very big though so there is a possibility of kind of a shank job it is pretty help uphill as well yeah the camera didn't do it justice that's a little better view and that'll work those lining up the same thing well barely got past that branch you know and that's gonna be perfect oh yeah yeah right on the bullseye Kelson look looking to put it up pretty close it's probably looking to put it in the basket honestly oh it's going with a little different route this time a little lower that'll work perfect yeah luckily I think kind of stuck and then take a big scoop oh oh that's that's the one thing you can't do yep just kind of missed that tree my god low-res well there it is that'll work hailer I'm sure he wasn't expecting to have to do a nut shell in this hole but he does it just fun code ended up a little bit more less than I thought yeah carried quite a bit yeah he's gonna have to take a par on this one this is Kelson for a stroke on Koda yeah this is a big big making things interesting going into the last couple holes other boards now down two strokes back from Kota he's having a better round in Kota luckily add that like that for stroke wherever it was yeah it's starting around good par saved there yeah unfortunately you're not looking to get the power off he's now but he'll take it I just write it's just not going as well yeah just one of those days yep we've all been there especially in sanctions it's like it's like when you're playing like somewhat bad sanction it can turn into real bad yeah just cuz the pressure oh yeah all right we are on to hole 16 this is a par 3 this one's pretty easy you want to throw something down this tunnel you might see some guys go over the top just Mysteries hit the tunnel and take your bird yeah like how you're the previous hole straight uphill and this one's straight downhill mm-hmm cool little elevation change actually something that would mess you up a little bit possibly but and fell comin up well short on that shot I'll know if I hit a tree or what yeah it looked like it nicked a branch okay behind the basket of a putt though is going over the top as well yeah perfect that's a drop in birdie yeah kotas just straight-up dialed in right now we got to tailor come on with the same route and the words well yeah that looks a little bit left well pinched off yep and he's found that tree that's and that's the risk that's gone another top to you really gotten yeah you gotta put enough on it not fun spot but he's made it around giving himself a three-putt what a rollin by both I think right though dead-on lon great yeah man he's a plowing Michelle or Potter by Kelson yeah wanna drain the to yep he's now one stroke back from Kota well two strokes if code can hit this tap-in yeah they're trying to put pressure on but you know when you're tapping and it's not a whole lot pressure to be had some is it fortunate for unfortunate bogey by Mike yeah that's gonna put them back it even the par as well alright we are on the hole 17 last two holes back from codon let's see if he can make a move yeah this hole is pretty radically different than the last placement which was where Bobby standing there in the war but they have moved it way left through this little gap going uphill after the gap so you can see big Heiser yeah you're really just trying to get to the bottom of that hill and then just having a up shot take your take your theory yep this is a twos pretty unrealistic unless you piping it and I say it's about I don't know four thirty something like that but it's just like the angle where the baskets out that it's hard to reach it you know that looked like a great shot and that was a shot ya know just really try not to do anything stupid good as well oh yeah oh yeah he's gonna leave himself with a putt jump huh yep and I guess that Wow it doesn't need to be said but that mandatory is still employ yeah he's gonna have a really tricky up shot from there possibly like an over top shot like he did on the previous hole not previous off with the hole earlier in the round I don't know if he was just trying to play conservative and try to pick a landing spot it kind of look like he was trying to do that yeah because he could have gotten it down to the the bottom of the hill Mike just kind of pulled this one right yeah not believe he still made the maned oh thank god but he got really tricky up shop in there yeah this this up shots pretty hard that really uphill with some low-hanging trees and he's gonna be he's button yeah he's putting a little short little left and this is just Wow Wow now stop rolling okay that'll work get out by Taylor him pose just down the hill here she's gonna lay up pretty good up top there here's Kelson for toes and he might he's probably running this house only he's definitely running at hella stupid he's definite but it's already at the height when you're putting it that far uphill yeah par save yes just a mile oh there's for his par save as well oh oh hailer with the gap running car save awesome he's been playing so well yeah or maybe it's cuz I think probably get a chance to watch him that much last year and I'm watching the crash it crazy that Maya played just as well last year I mean I'm not sure the well-known Celtic oh yeah he is well-known in the nine one eight that's for sure coats happen if it's par for the unfortunate bogey like with an unfortunate bogey and actually sorry all we actually didn't get the drone footage for a whole 18 because it was there was a lot of confusion with where the tee pad was because this is actually a complete different keypad and a complete different basket so we tried to get the drone footage between rounds and just didn't get to it in time before the next round started but I mean Kelson just almost aced that by the way they do that thing right in from the basket yeah and the only OB here is the sidewalk behind the basket yeah a pretty easy hole you just want to miss these trees right in front of the basket you got these for the four nights of of Guthrie yeah right right in front of the basket and you kind of like a little backstop because it's kind of like an uphill slope where the baskets at so you can really jam it in there and not be afraid of that would be that's great shot as well kind of floating away from though yeah no stuck wow I thought that was skipping straight Oliva tip it in Mike turning that over a little bit having a pitch up ooh hits cage sit down it has to that's fine let's say the way his rounds going and that happening at the very end that was just been hurtful yep yeah just missing low doesn't really matter Koda played fantastic all weekend yeah that first round just really set him apart going into this last round vote for birdie good finish finishing that 12 down way to finish beau we really didn't play up to his standards but he's you know still top 5 Mike tapping in Hazel Taylor tapping in the par as well and Kelson Elsa much props the Callison for keeping up with Kota all weekend yeah ended up one stroke back from Kota started off with the ACE and had a great tournament but Kota just pulled it out and had a great tournament Congrats Dakota little sportsman like handshake there gotta love it yep Kelson had a really good tournament awesome well that is gonna conclude our coverage in the final round of the third annual first Capital
