what's up everybody welcome back to the third annual first capital classic in Guthrie Oklahoma my name is Gabriel Dao and I'm here with Bobby Cox how's it going everyone we've got a awesome little card for you boat omens kind of ahead of everybody right now it's sitting at 4-under Clayton's one behind that three Bennie and Brett are at two and then Andrew is trying a little behind that one down so yeah pretty close race here yeah you're playing for that first pot yep hole 10 this is a par 3 it's pretty much gonna be a dead straight mid range of putter shot you might see someone go over the top if you got a big arm but yeah just want to throw something straight down this tunnel and hope it scoots right up to the basket you have you set a perfect clean loss and taking the box after your whole nine this is looking good yeah it's fading out a little bit early but you know you'll be down there it gets a little roll toward yes that's perfect fun pin-high just a little left you got battle probably on a rock or some putter sponsored by in of looks like it's gonna slide short yeah I see and he played the slide but he didn't really get it yeah hit a rock or a root or something yeah I think it just stayed turned over and it kind of like cut a little bit oh and here we see the summer play and I actually like that play a lot yeah that's ready that's perfect just have it crashed into the trees and drop right down yeah just goes downhill if you can get the angle on that right or just pop right down that's looks really good yep well hot a lot a bit hot he'll stop a putt at it intrude just leak and rewrite it looks like yeah and he's gonna be laying up here he's a tricky spot yeah that's gonna be tricky putt here we got Brett throwing through the marsh Oh hit the cage and drop straight down just low though trying to extend that lead just a little high and it was pretty gusty on this day oh and that was a good putt by Benny nice little Heiser good way to start off the back nine yeah absolutely he'll struggling with this post a little bit front nine but it's good to see they turned around a little bit yeah seems like a lot of these guys have been struggling with their putts today yeah I don't know if it's the wind or some yeah I grip something's going on no I saw that we're good I was looking often it's true yeah that was like a demanding like I demand you to go into the basket yeah tapping floors yep alright hole 11 this is a par 3 it is tricky and treacherous oh yeah the baskets kind of on a downhill slope and most most people be throwing a hyzer and hope it just like spikes down and kind of sits next to the basket but you'll also see some people throwing something flat maybe kind of squeak through the trees and get to the basket but yeah not an easy hole one of the more difficult ones out here yeah and it's pretty common to end up in that in the woods on the left side if you fade out too early and that's what you'll end up kind of where Clayton's going looks like yeah so that's a really common place to go if you throw it does straight you should be in good shape mm-hmm but it is a lot of trees diminish yeah a lot of tree and yeah it's a very nor - and you can't throw it up too high yeah but yeah cuz you got that hill right in front and the other one hanging branches it's a really tricky shot going with that stand still that's that's the water away but you got a really good kick and that's gonna be about 30 shortcake really good shot we got bail they asked to flip up literally once I'm pretty sure yeah he's got a tricky putt through those woods yep same good that look I hope him out early as well yeah that was way early as a shank let's see if you can adjust from that that's looking pretty good yeah I'm a tree it's gonna be short but you'll have a straddle putt yeah like claim just looks like it's trying to get in here oh no he's gonna have a little bit of a tester putt to say mister yeah you can have a go like a 30-foot uphill putt right with the killer some branches maybe yeah look like for sure it's just too high good run though and Bo actually ended up in not that bad of a spot he's right there and hey spin I looks like mm-hmm just a little high was downhill putts are tricky and after that putt he actually said that that was the best feeling putt he's had all day he just didn't go in was too high he had the wind kind of caught it and he thought I was going in a little long man look at that Leighton yeah he's having to straddle out he must have not had anything through those bushes yeah because he was literally left with that Anheuser oh no Bo and I was gonna be taking another four I'm gonna miss an amp side and that's really been posed only mistake this round is just having a couple back-and-forth putts you know couple three putts you know which is not usual to see with him that no like you don't see that at all no yeah player players of his caliber or really get those come back but yeah like you're not scared about a comeback now Brett with an unfortunate par clayton taking a bogey clayton had the lead and he has lost it yeah he's tied up with bogan alright and hole 12 this is gonna be a par 3 this is kind of a you want to hit that initial gap and then this second gap right here and the basket is actually where Bobby's standing right there in the orange they had moved the baskets again before we've gotten to get the drone footage but yeah pretty much a dead straight shot you wanna throw pretty hard because it is pretty uphill yeah I say it's probably one of the hardest holes out here yeah this is looking pretty good that's looking very good and getting it to settle on this Kareem is like almost impossible and he just did it and that's perfect that's that's all you're not yeah this is leaking right yeah and but that's a good miss though yeah yeah as long as you get up there you're fine that just goes a little more stable what I thought to know oh now that is sawed off he's gonna find that Bush it looks like yeah he's he's not gonna be fun over there no that's not really an easy upshot either cuz so he'll II don't know you catch edge and you're down the hill 60 feet Plus this needs a stable out a little high but yeah I got drop straight down yeah now that's gonna be a very uphill upshot yeah if you can still like a perfect like a slight flex that's really the way to go oh yeah I'm gonna sort it gotta walk kind of a weird but fortunate kick maybe the wind pushed it back a little bit but he's gonna be left with outside the circle putt here's Benny after hitting that tree uh-oh and that's not a good upshot not a good upshot at all just kind of sawed it off who else pretty close from Clayton it's close very yeah and Bo's just laying up I'm actually little shocked by that yeah I have to I mean it is yeah that's it's all about personal feel to if he's not feeling confident you know then yeah exactly it's all about feel yep get that nose up yeah uphill putts into the win or I mean there's got to be the hardest putt there is yeah you got to get the angle perfect on it because if the wind catches the bottom of that disc at all it's flying and especially in Oklahoma wind oh for sure oh man and that's not a fun miss Brett taking a bug come on Benny there you go here we go and you have to bogey as well yeah that was really uncharacteristic up shot by him and now you know why beau laid up just keeping it safe yeah and the door still wide open for all these players though Clayton's another bogey on the hole 13 this is gonna be a part three pretty downhill on the more downhill shots on this course you're gonna see say a straight shot maybe with a slight turn over to get underneath that branch that was overhanging or you might see a forehand as well yeah that sidewalk on the left sides OB and there's a creek on the right that they put a pain in line for an OB so you got a B on both sides mm-hmm not an easy hole sure and that's gonna be a be right there you know and there is a drop zone though mm-hmm probably about 70 feet in front of the basket yeah really like it's gotta go desks right if you get any fade at all its prettiest most likely going to be yeah and this is looking good yeah I'm just kind of tracking though be on the right side but it stays inbounds I think you don't really see the forehand play on this one and maybe because that light pole right there yeah maybe it's kind of in the way it's also a pretty pretty long hole I'd say it's he's probably pushing for 10 yeah that's not a fun beat yeah here we got Benny oh wait yeah that was way too high he's gonna be fading OB it looks like it's got like a perfect shot to even stay in bounds yeah an offer to be a good shot at the stay in bounds I guess that TD was expecting that put in the drop zone right next to the basket you know it might be too high and that's kind of leaked right as well it looks like yeah that's okay we got four or five or drive out of bounds and here's the drop zone right here so they give you a pretty good opportunity to save your power and you're gonna have to settle for a bogey here we got Brett this actually might be a hardest hole on the course schooling was yes okay actually yeah it's for sure I mean you literally with those branches like you have to throw it at the perfect height perfect disc yeah no fade just go away up no swallow this paw at his bogey actually here's for some more separation here's for the birdie yeah bo needs this but why just too high you doesn't air ball very often no I read missus it's it's pretty close there's a bogey from from Benny but with a grape are yes yeah everyone else just happen in their bogeys and bogeys really don't feel good at all on this course especially when you're not getting the birdies that you should be giving yeah and it's really daunting whole 14 this is a par 3 another just super easy hole there is OB carrying all the way you can see that orange painted line it's a all the way down on the right side so pretty much just a white Heiser or you can throw something dead straight yeah here we go boo really the only one of this group that's playing somewhat clean golf yeah and it's not even clean golf - boasting exactly yeah yeah Bo this is probably like an awful round yeah oh yeah it's probably still over especially with tennis yeah like he's not happy about that and that wasn't really a yeah and robbed that off into the tree that's something you don't want to do bread taking off his hat starting to heat up or his hood I guess yeah and he's gonna be in that tall grass right there still pretty good rounds there yes okay and that is turned over that's out of bounds right you know what I want to say that it's actually in bounce oh okay so you think it winds up yeah down by the basket and he's kind of behind the basket I think used to the right of it yeah whoo that's a great shot by Clayton yeah and you're just laying up here that's what then hits the pole and if you guys have ever played the lodge in Pawhuska Oklahoma this course kind of reminds me of it honestly a little bit well a lot of its smaller but really awesome course a lot shorter but somewhere dynamics yeah here's Bo for birdie and he is like no he's an inch off yeah seems like every hole yeah he'd be sitting at like eight seven or eight down no for sure great birdie by plate in there so you can figure it out next time yeah Brett follows suit Clayton with the lone birdie very surprising yeah what is that showing them I want to say it was a a Mac Mini a Mac Mini okay it looked like a max face no at all all right old 15 is another little shorty it is pretty uphill only danger here is gonna be that initial tree off the tee and then the tree to the right of the bush you'll mostly be seeing Heiser's with a mid-range er putter you might see someone go off the gut as well yeah and it's actually quite a bit more uphill than it looks on camera that's wall time that's definitely the easiest line yeah most attainable as long as he putting up put enough power behind it it's usually gonna be around the basket just like that yep I was gonna be right there good shot by Andrew here we got break on with that sky Heiser's you can continue the yep so we've got four drives right there so far hopefully Benny can hit the branch make the branch but you all right in it up up there yep right there just a little short it seems like these guys are getting like just far enough to make it a tough putt for the house you know like everyone's getting in the 42 30-foot putt range yeah just not connecting today no it's kind of a mutual card thing right Clayton with a good little bird there right settling for power along with Benny yeah there's bail for two right mm-hmm yeah he's like finally I got another birdie all right all right hole 16 we got another little shorty once again surprise surprise par 3 like everything else it's pretty much just touch hyzer shot with the putter or a mid range you just want to hit this little gap right here and have it Heiser right into the basket yeah way to go with the hi route avoid those trees and that's and that's that's nice for dry eyes yeah that's the best way to play it throwing the same thing right there you'd be about 30 out go get out of the loo bro and Andrew through the low route and at all perfect that's gonna do the same thing just need to get right swing he's got a very tough puff in there yeah he's gonna have that Bush right in his way that's like a nice oh my god there's so many roll ways this Haley course crazy we have not put off this push up any for to move up hill taking his time oh just too high yeah hating with this bit I feel like this like not like nothing's going give these guys yeah none of the putts are connecting know hopefully boat can salvage the - oh my goodness I'm SPEA sad well I said I think it's just like the energy of the card or something yeah people was kind of feeding off each other's mistakes it seems like yeah which and that seems to happen quite a bit if the whole car is not playing good yeah it's rare that there's someone on that car that's yeah this good stuff yeah good little par save there Danny as well Clayton is frustrated with that but you know you have no doubt about that right at hole 17 this is a par 3 mando tree right here to the right you can see kind of a spot on the tree you want it to stay left of that the basket is gonna be right where Bobby standing it's another one of those holes so yeah you'll see a lot of forehand plays and I mean that's pretty much all there is yeah that sidewalks OB but it's pretty hard to reach that yeah and that looks a little bit short a lot a bit short you know looks like Clayton's gonna be thrown a turnover scary shot but you know really good he's kiddin ya didn't quite turn it over enough he's gonna be left with a long putt there yeah just kind of funneled down that hill oh that's looking really good from bo just needed to skip up there great yeah and that's one of the things you're thinking about going on this hole is getting that angle right so you're not getting any role was have it laying pretty soft did Brent miss the man Brett Brett barely missed the man to hang so he'll be playing just like right shot just need a little bit more left he's a little bit higher yeah that's looking good perfect oh yeah better than Bo's here's Brett for three after missing the man Dow may be tapping efforts for looked good initially just a little short and here just a short as well yeah it's kinda hard to tell on camera again but this is very uphill putt from clay yeah though gonna be moving to five now if you can make this little tap-in there you go yeah you never know that's round I know nice birdie from Vinny great job tapping into par right with the unfortunate bogey after missing that mando all right last hole hole 18 this is a par 3 another really easy hole you just want to throw it kind of level with the basket and kind of jam it into this hill and hope it doesn't roll down yeah probably see a lot of putters maybe a mid-range but I don't see any drivers on this hole yep nothing too dangerous about this hole those going with the Heiser yeah that's right there and he going with that patent-pending staying still that's gonna be little bit low right yeah that's short that's gonna be a super uphill but yeah with the OB behind ya as well ain't just going 400 that's surprising that looks way low that skips right up there took a massive jump yep that's that's a pretty good play and this is looking really good Brad trying to get back to even with the birdie you have no problem doing that oh yeah here's Benny from way down the hill oh my gosh and that is the dangerous part of this hole all right take two except wait wheres sly yeah yeah she has branches in front of them now yeah what a crappy way to in that first round yeah very unfortunate I thought like I wanted to spit back out that was gonna finish at 6 really a pretty good round for how not getting a spot yeah yeah 6 down with a couple bogeys yeah he had what two - Bucky's I believe yeah and he'll make the leak hard for the second round so stay tuned for that also code 1/2 field so we have seen others waiting us you know the Kota bow battle yep on the back we will really go with that second round yeah Dan you want to fortunate bogey - in the round it's not what you'd like to see he's gonna add that even all right well that's gonna conclude the first round
