welcome to the back nine of the final round of the 2018 Oklahoma open we've got Eagle pulling ahead of everybody looks like he's ahead of Greg by four strokes hopefully we'll see some moves by Greg and Chris here this round my name is Gabriel down I'm here with Bobby Cox how's everyone go yeah let's check out this back nine hole ten is a par three 335 foot it's got a lot of trees down the fairway a lot of overhanging branches that you want to avoid so you really just want to throw something low and hard I think we'll think there's also a wide forehand line that looks like this Greg through the middle yeah that's pretty much perfect you help the short but he's inside circle and Richard that looks great oh yeah yep and that is perfect you I'm assuming is selling a mid-range a little bit a little bit of leakage right a little bit left but he's he's right there by the basket yeah they're going up the gut as well looks like that's fading back in pretty nicely oh yeah you know shot by Taylor the gut as well well well still have a look at the basket no one no one hit me Theresa yeah that's surprising cuz there's a lot of trees to hit he was just under that branch and that gets in your head on those putts he's I'm knocking down the birdie just gonna write another stroke on Chris see if Greg can keep up here still four strokes back needle looked a little right there for a second but doesn't have it in there you jealously yeah did tap in his brain as well there's something about Gregg spots where like it doesn't matter where on the chains he hits it usually drops in yeah I like the angle it's coming down over well yeah he kind of has a little bit from those down put as well it just kind of falls into the basket as opposed to like directly hitting it flat right like some of these guys Chris is just gonna have to clean up the part their whole 11 is a par 3 pretty wide open on the right side the left sides got a lot of trees so you're really just gonna see a big Heiser around all this to get to the basket but there is the bunker and a green that is OB just right at the basket so that's something you want to think about yeah and this whole short enough to where you can you should be able to go all hazards the basket you want to worry about you're just flipping up and riding flat just come over stay when is crank on a1 yep and that's perfect he nearly caught the bunker there but I've just ended it up in front of it and he's gonna have a little short downhill look at the basket Richard left his a little bit wide and it's gonna be found behind the bunker but yeah I feel like you'll take that though yeah yeah safe capsule yeah I'll have a little downhill look at the basket as well no ego for that it's like happy thing um I think he might have sawed it off a little bit but it ended up working for him so can't complain there Greg's taking a little bit lower of the line oh yeah and that is perfect and Chris is probably happiest forsyth or hand the way he throws yeah he's kept his real low hopefully that's something it he sold that off just a little bit but he's still gonna be about circles edge he's still in good eye spot Richard oh just over the top that's really the tricky thing about downhill putts is just getting the right height on it absolutely and making sure you hit something so then go you know 62 pounds and that's a great putt by Taylor just dropped it right in this leaving it just a little low first real miss in a while everybody else to happen in for Paul and it's weather it looks like amazing yeah I was it was awesome out there hole 12 this is a par-3 290 feet just super short nothing in the way there's OB to the left which really isn't in your head on this short of a hole but pretty much throwing anything from a putter turn over to a forehand like we see equal doing here that greens kind of narrows out towards the basket so yeah we really got to be precise and he's left his short he's gonna be about circles edge there maybe just inside will see Taylor just a little short as well this is right in Craig's wheelhouse expect me to get real close on the shop yeah yeah yep that's that's real close snap he's gonna have the decent look for his three nose our drop zone or use I think you just take it where it went out so he's gonna be right there I believe oh no you've been out a little bit earlier than I thought that close yeah he's hitting on every every part of the basket this round know a little bit of his hand just high at the basket all right Hale who's been struggling a little bit this round he's trying to yeah it's tough because trying to find the puck there's Eagle first comeback three this little one was expecting but he drains that I mean Greg with the bird a little surprising to see only two birds on this short of a wall but yeah yeah okay they can pick it up next hole hole thirteen is gonna be a par-5 1100 feet it is an absolute monster you're right off the tee you're carrying over some water it's a little pond and you want to end up right here in the center of the fairway the baskets right up here to the right so if you can get in the middle you're gonna have anything from a forehand line to turn over backhand or a roller but you do have to keep note that there is that bunker right there and I believe there's a green to the left as well so just got to keep an eye off of that so it's fading a little bit too much but it's it'll be alright you really can't mess up too much off this drive yeah as long as you get over the pond where he's alright plenty of day to do that yeah it's a tree nice play down there yeah the trees away from guys so if you're hitting that tree then you're sure you're good he was trying to go big here it looks like joy trying to figure out what angle he's wanting to put this on and that that's a little bit that needs to come back that's a great shot yep he's gonna have decent positioning there as just wait out there away yeah yeah he'll have a nice little roller line actually towards the basket and the and the rollers are so tempting on ball golf courses and the grass is so short and they just go a mile yep they can get out of hand but they can go mom yeah rollers go a lot better on ball golf courses for sure cuz there's not all the sticks yeah that's a nice safe shot there we got Richard no mom might have turned it mmm he's good right yep he might be a little bit right so yeah he said yeah he says a pretty good gap yeah could be better if he was left it'd be wide open but yeah I mean I'm trees and he's just gonna lay up to the center of the fairway boy yeah final round he's not really in striking distance to take a lead or anything but he's starting to take as much cash as possible oh so he's still in there Taylor just throwing it down the fairway as well he's gonna have an easy up-and-down there that stance God being your head for that who's next I'll try yeah and Chris is throwing a big old turnover forehand that needs to come back and looks like he's done that probably trying to get as close to that stain as possible without knowing and then just pitching over here yeah he's kind of got an interesting life man that is so far he skips right over there and that's gonna make a good angle to the basket with that would take him to st. out the way mm-hmm he's actually giving himself a putt for Eagle there yeah it's a long putt but yeah looks the links on this puts it a little bit deep yeah you do have to be aware of the green that's deep as well but this is a this is a tough up shot right here because the basket is kind of on a hill you got the bunker right there you've got the OB on the right and this looks pretty perfect oh look at the history but yeah he's got a look he stayed out of the bunker and stayed off the right side of the cart path so that's all you can ask for on that upshot this Rhino that purple rhino I believe so it's crazy I like hi he throws those shots but he's trusted to draw yeah look at that that's perfect yeah this rhinos like Ricky's harp exactly yeah what's the that's yeah and whenever you funded this and you've had it for like multiple years you get so constable throwing it yeah and you pretty much throw it on anyone at that point mm-hmm he's know exactly what's gonna do I think that right I was up there that's a great Richard just lean up kind of giving it a half run a little bit dangerous with the bunker right behind the basket Taylor was looking to make this that shortage is short it's been short Malta giggles kind of taking his time almost shorted it but this comes right off the top of the cage and right into the chain so and this is Chris for bird I wasn't really good up shot that's in my 29mm creeping up on bars B yep Greg with it great - I was very cleanly played oh yeah Paul which isn't bad but I live on with Taylor you definitely want the birdie yeah especially with this wide open as that whole way is exactly hole 14 is a par 4 lots of those out here it's 835 feet there's quite a bit of OB on this hole you've got the cart path carrying all the way down the left side you've got water carrying all the way down the right side and then you also have a green which you need to avoid and a couple bunkers right in the dead center of the fairway so you really want to throw something hard and right maybe over stable have to come back left yep yep and you want to get it a little bit wider than that have it hanging over that bunker and the green there so it'll end up right on the left side because there's an open lane there and it looks like he's slipped a little bit on you know that shot looks like he saw this off as well and he's gonna be he find OB there I couldn't quite see ya yep and that's perfect now set in the first round or in the front nine and I'm gonna say it again huge thanks to Heather juego for putting this tournament on she put so much work into this and it just turned out absolutely amazing yep she does a lot for the disc golf community so so much she's she just does great work with everything that she does they hold weekly minis which Kyle Gibson shout out Kyle Gibson has taken over but those are always fun Richards put out a great shot here that's just what you want carrying over that bunker oh yeah Chris with this bandana Baker Mayfield action shot out and that's good positioning Taylor knit up just short of the bunker test the limits just a little wide and he's gonna be well short of the basket he's got a putt though you got Greg Greg it was lucky to hit that tree there and end up in bounds this needs to turn more and it doesn't but he's still in bounds gonna die that tree in front of them got in his head a little bit I don't know it's a pretty standard up shot I'm surprised you didn't go forehand honestly yeah that'll work little forehand up Eagles smashed his drive he's so good these four end up shots - yeah Hughes Oh slow down a little deep he's he's gonna have a really far putt um not too far he's he's about let's say like 35 I realize right behind the basket yeah it looks a little bit further on the camera but it's actually not not too bad now I was fantastic to Train good bird Oh see if rich can hit some metal like he's been doing just in front of the basket is so word over that's pretty far yeah he screams further than 35 for sure but yeah did Floyd commit to that maybe yes pages in the way yeah I think he was trying to run that he just kind of released it a little bit early and that seems to happen with like fall or straddle putts yeah you can't really get as much weight transfer into those hard to get your legs and do it I was a good Papa Chris Richard save the pause where think we've got a star par here it looks like and yeah let's let's expect it on this whole cuz I mean 835 foot par 4 with a lot of OB I mean you're you're getting a stroke on the field with a birdie on that one alright hole 15 is par-3 350 feet pretty much these guys are gonna be throwing big sky Heiser's towards the basket there is a bunker on the right side it's probably about 40 feet right of the basket that you want to avoid but yeah it's lining up the Heiser just over that bunker I'm sure it's nice playing a little shoot and that is perfect I'm sure it's nice playing a little shorty after those long bomber home yeah change it up a little bit throw with discs in your bag dolls get a little bit dusty eagle putt right there as well I'm sure tails done to the date format for the Kaiser as well there's not really any other line really and he's a little bit short and right or no use pin-high right yeah I think okay uh it's got a little bit of a downhill putt Richard gets it super wide not quite enough power on it but yeah just caught that tree before the basket had a perfect one in Chris with that forehand he had to quit baseball back in his day yeah and he's gonna do little deep maybe still had a putt at it little downhill he's right there with Taylor yeah just needed that a couple inches higher every time he's so close and Chris needs this uh-huh and just off the cage as well painful you know yeah you don't like taking a three on this one no especially like down the stretch you really just try that yeah you got three holes left galleries he's getting bigger and bigger I'm gonna show us leather there and Eagle just continuing the slaughter same old same old he's holding those three strokes on Greg he is not budging one bit no these other guys are just gonna be tapping in for pars if you guys remember in the Tulsa area you ruin a check out a ballpark we got three disc golf courses the zoo a couple of ball golf courses and it's pretty amazing out here yeah it's it's a great great course definitely check it out hall 16 we've got a par 3 it's 390 feet initially carries over a little pond but this is a pretty easy hole for these guys you pretty much through you can throw a forehand backhand straight shot straight towards the basket whatever you're comfortable with but as long as you get right there and you don't don't go long onto the green you're sitting pretty good Greg kind of scares the green they're almost skips up to it but he's gonna be left with an outside the circle putt and I can't imagine an eagle not being in the circle off of this Drive there's a height a little bit wider than Greg but that's looking good oh yeah he fell right up okay he's right down the hill have a little bit of an uphill putt but he's not too worried about that Taylor's gonna take that back in line Troy just a preference yeah well yeah it's pretty wide open a little bit low but it's getting a massive skip out of it yeah he's still gonna be short left with probably about 45 50 oh yeah a great move on this one who had a basket he's gonna have a nice little inside the circle putt Chris that needs to come back a little more that's great Taylor right into the Sun mm-hmm oh just let the shorty time yep just needs to put a little bit more on it and clearly he was hitting them another two rounds because yeah be only card yeah Greg's needs this putt oh my god oh and he just spits out on the pro side and eagle with the bird this is going great for Eagle ready yeah he now has four strokes on Greg going into the last two holes and he's not too worried about that in Chris with Christmas no yeah he's had a pretty good putter this round and just left that one short hey the little elevation messed him up yeah was a great bird by Richard just put it right up there okay Greg it's not pleased with his par know he's in just full attack mode right now yeah Chris with the unfortunate part as well but hole 17 is a part three this is a little shorty so we might get to see some ace runs it's pretty much right there it's an island hole there there's OB all around it and I mean it's pretty much just a putter up shot cuz it's a little green I imagine that all that going either putter mid-range you know any drivers on this whole definitely not you don't want too much of a skip and equal just kind of left that well not wide hopefully that swings back what and Oh barely squeaks in I can't imagine I'll never see was during that boy the good shot there yeah Belle's gonna be a little sketchy yeah a little says yeah that definitely could have easily skip Toby but uh I still got the right angle on it always going back in there bud and Greg really needs to ace this one he wants to have any chance of catching an eagle on this next hole left a little bit left and right but you'll have an easy bird there got how epic would have a ace will have been right there oh man that been so much put them T strokes back behind eagle on a par 4 yeah that's a good shot from Taylor from the near OB that was scary thought yeah definitely this great putt because there's a roll-off behind the basket towards the water oh and he left it just left looks like it's settled go behind the basket Richard only got 20 out knocks it right in that puts a my 22 dams mm-hmm and Richard and Taylor are really just in a fight for third Oh Taylor miss that is surprising his putter hasn't been too good that be so frustrating yeah I really get a decent amount chains and it still won't stay in yeah that's just how some rounds go I'm very with the bird but I make enough that last hole you know it's still gonna be four strokes back ten strokes bag and evil going into this last hole but you never know what these guys on the other cars are doing behind them yeah yeah yeah put on the gas charge is good a lot of good golfers behind them so yeah right here this is the final hole holy teen it is a par-5 1,100 feet the tee box kind of starts on some elevation you're throwing down towards this fairway so really you can get a roller down really nicely you can throw anything you're comfortable with as long as you get into the center of the fairway and then the upshot is pretty treacherous because right in front of this you have the green which is OB and then behind the basket is the cart path Wow so be really close and then also in front of the basket there's a hill which you can't really see from the camera angle that kind of rolls down towards the green so you really want to get it just perfect up there and Richards turn this over just a little bit yeah and he did that last time on the on the 1,100 foot hole up yeah one of the Balmer holes yeah he's gonna be a lot shorter than he wanted to be okay he's gonna roll air or she's gonna try the air shot whatever he's doing he's gonna try to show off a little bit let's turn it too much - it needs to come back that comes back no that's not too bad he's gonna be a little bit more right than he wanted for sure but uh he's not completely disappointed in that that just looks beautiful yeah Chris just put a really good move on that one that's dead center fairway that's right where you want to be equal lining up a roller go and this is looking perfect oh and it doesn't stand up so and who finds the OB but that is way up there he's gonna have say about 400 or 50 feet left up to the basket but that up shot again is not easy at all so we'll see what he can do from there awesome I just laid up here we got Richard why say he's gonna roll over as well oh yeah that looks like it's got a good angle on it and good just needs to climb that hill a little bit stay off the green which no off the gun on the grand and he has just hit the green that's a center he's gonna have to take that from behind the green and I mean Richard really couldn't control whole lot of that I mean yeah but a great move on that roller and it just happened to keep the own live it too far mm-hmm and it's hard to have the rollers stand up when they kind of lose velocity going on that uphill so he did what he could you know just ended up with a little bit of a bad break and Greg just laying one on oh he went for the air shot ah sure was trendy yeah it's probably a troller probably meant to air it out a little bit higher an eagle from the OB going over the gets on it golf green in Wow what that is a fantastic drive so that he was dropping eagle if he didn't go B yeah that's so yeah yeah that's that is a perfect upshot he wasn't scared of anything I mean there was there's so much to be scared of on the screen he just put it about 25 feet out putting on show I'm sure the fans don't hate it yep make sure it's right up there Oh Noel stealing Jose yep and this is Eagle from for birdie after the OB stroke for the win technically well not for the way I'm gonna knees three strokes ahead Greg but man that just an awesome tournament from Eagle starting off hot at Red Hawk and oh wow man and I was just a brutal spit up that was a great fun 18th hole - yeah but yeah I mean Eagle just played insane golf all week stay stayin the fairways a block off yep bombed the birdie holes and Red Hawk and just did this thing this round yep yeah this this round I believe he shot a 1067 rated round and that's with missing the two easiest holes and yeah big shout-out to Eagle he played a great tournament and thank you for all the big pros that came
