welcome everybody to the final round of the 2018 Oklahoma open we've got a pretty special card for you guys today we've got Eagle McMahon just killing the tournament sitting at 26 under Greg Chris Taylor and Richard not too far behind them my name is Gabriel down here I have Bobby Cox with me hey what's going on me commentating this round and this is a pretty special course what do you think of it it's long yeah it's it's very long it's the ball golf course so the grass is gonna be short you can get a lot of massive skips and yeah just try staying bound yeah first hole is par-3 380 feet it's gonna be a slight downhill with OB carrying all the way along the right side it's pretty much an island because I mean you got all the cars to the left so pretty much you want to throw a hyzer out and not how to skip too much and it looks like Eagle that's looking mighty good yeah started off a little bit and Eagle actually had eight wins this year Wow that so many wins and how many national tour wins I don't know like let's see III was it three three yeah you've got Greg current world champion super awesome having him in Tulsa for this tournament here yeah and he's kept it lower and that's ideal right there yes 20 footer you got Chris he's lining up the lefty forehand line and that's looking real nice as long as it doesn't skip too much yeah that is perfect that's what you want on the first hole of this final round you really want to make a statement make a charge and this hole is pretty doable yeah yeah still a little scary because it's an island but uh definitely gettable for these guys let's much turn on it but it's gonna work out yep he read that right you know and he's gonna be inside the circle and last but not least we have Richard y who has had a great tournament so far yeah he's been nailing all this place yeah his putter has been hot he's a guy that's not really gonna shock you with anything crazy but he's just really consistent and it's just doing it do what he needs to do yep and he keeps it in bounds there he is gonna be about circles edge Eagles got a little bit of a long putt with the OB behind a basket as well yeah putt here oh that's unfortunate he just nixed that branch we got Richard waters birdie he's got kind of a scary putt as well yeah good start awesome that is a great start by Richard y great putt carrying over from the previous day yeah and Greg for a stroke on Eagle to tie it up how was the wind out here this um it wasn't too bad actually considering Oklahoma yeah and they partied off a while like noon yeah 12:00 12:30 I believe so it was really nice though perfect day for disc golf clear skies perfect Popeye Greg there yeah oh yeah yeah I needed that looks like Greg and Eagle are all tied up now we're gonna have a pretty exciting round gonna be a battle yeah on a very challenging course a lot of these holes required a lot of arms so we see some really cool angles and a lot of awesome shots great last round as well making his way back up to the lead card you got to film the first round and he's back with us now I always love seeing him kill it on the disc golf course and hole to this is gonna be a part three 420 feet carries over the water there's gonna be OB on the right side as well most of these guys will be throw-in either a hyzer or something that will flip up flat and just ride all the way to the basket but you do want to keep it on the right side there and kind of trust the disc to fade back in and that's one give a huge thanks to Heather juego for putting this tournament all in she's done so much so much work to make this tournament yeah she's really absolutely amazing yeah she did an awesome job it was one of the best Oklahoma opens yet for sure and Kyle Gibson for helping her out getting this course in shape and Greg left his short well short I heard the short triskin with that big Heiser looks like I was watching Chris warm up and this tooth bombs I think something that a lot of people don't realize about Chris he is he bombs for hands his forehand game is insanely out of a oh I love his things if it's like the fact that on the coverage very often people just don't see it but he's probably top-five forehand distances oh yeah in the world Taylor kind of turned something over a little bit oh yeah that's perfect he's gonna be about maybe outside the circle just right in the shadow it looks like Richards lining up we'll turn over as well that's that is a great-looking line oh yeah just a little short yeah I'm really uncomfortable throw-in those kind of shots whenever I see them executed like this it's really something else yeah and then here we have Eagle lining up the Heiser I'm sure well we have 420 post by cop-outs swirly pd-2 he sit fairly well yeah just kind of riding straight he's got around that tree and he is right inside the circle greg has a long putt he's gonna need this to keep up with Eagle note and these players are playing on the disc at your Sports baskets but with the pro 28 chains just a little fun fact there because this is a temporary course oh and Richard just wide this a little bit right you can went a little bit longer than I thought but I think he's got this putt oh yes 27 down eagle pulling ahead of Greg still a lot of golf left oh yeah oh no was that Richard first part yeah I mean you missed a little bit ham side but it's fit through all right and hole three is par for 860 foot if there's not too much OB on this hole pretty much you want to get either left or right of this clump of trees we're flying by right now there's three trees and I mean ideally you want to be on the left side because you'll have a little bit better look at the basket but I mean as long as you're outside of the trees you you have a pretty clean look it seems like he's charmed by us yeah pretty much looks like you line up that baked like an e-flat shot maybe maybe the roller going roller let's find out oh it's just a full-length no no that's the ruler no no and that's that's an interesting spot because there's some branches kind of hanging low over there but it looked like he kind of got in front of the tree so we might have a look at the basket that looks great looks like it's kind of flattening out a little bit it's our luxury yeah I did he's gonna have a little forehand look at the basket chris is going for forehand on a 860 foot hole just trying to flex it around that clump of trees and he is that's probably wanted to be the yeah ideally he'd want to be more left but I mean that's okay for him yeah have an easy little lefty Heiser okay we're trying something hitting that little gap there do that right down the middle no I'll be looking really kid and Richard is sponsored by wide ride chalk bags him and his little bit left as you can see he has a lot clearer of the lane and a couple of these guys yeah it's like it's fading out too early on him but for his birdie no no in that right to the ground yeah low ceiling but definitely kinda shank job and that's why you want to be a little bit more left to those trees Greg's got a real interesting upshot as well that doesn't look long turn something it's ridin and it's fading too early I'm gonna have it he's gonna have a long putt for birdie as well now why didn't you go for him there um there's a tree a guardian tree a little bit closer to the basket and kind of restricts that line taylor's throwing a big little turn over as well no one's really getting up there yeah they a lot of those guys like I said they they kind of land it in the middle of that clump of trees as opposed to the right or to the left of it and so it's it's it's it's difficult even Eagles it's not a good law yeah in Washington after he just watched Gregg with that super super short upshot he can just a little pressure on to get up to the basket expand that lead see what Eagle does here he's kept it nice and low that looks so tasty looks like kicked off a branch but not didn't hurt it too much and he's about 28 feet just inside the circle Chris with a great up shot that is a great recovery shot he'll have a tap in for his par here we got Taylor going to the little forehand his usual upshot yeah that's well done as well pitching up here yep look at that awesome gallery we got yeah you'll see it you'll see it grow because there was tea times because it was on a ball golf course and so as the cards finished more people showed up in the gallery and it was it was really cool to watch that that's what I like Tetons so much more yeah get a chance to build a gallery it's also I'm a fan of the fountain I think it got a decent run there just a little short he goes a little bit further than I thought oh great putt he's keeping the train rolling to get another stroke on Greg is this report yes this is for par oh did that hit any change I don't think that you just switched that that was a disc golf swish but it definitely does not sound like no no no yeah yeah yep just had one birdie and for the sparse pretty standard hole yeah try to get like this and it's try to get you're not too mad about par on that bowl no I'm hole for this is uh pretty much you want to hit the fairway right in the dead center there's a lot of OB to the left to the right all those bushes are not OB but there is a green up front if you go big that's something to be a little scared of but uh I mean as long as you play it safe you'll have a pretty easy up front to the basket there's not too many trees in a fairway yeah this golf green no bees are always so tricky because you're not used to have an OB right in the middle fairways yeah you know yeah looks like Eagles is gonna try and throw it right over those bushes have it fade right back into the fairway yeah it'd be a pretty standard shot for him yeah he's Python just like a hole placement shot oh he ripped the crap out of the yeah he has just turned that straight over OB that's OB yep there is a little creek Oh either and it looks like he might have found that if you saw laughs right through that he was looking at the world map on the ground right there to see if he was a B mm-hmm he's open great it's looking a little bit more stable that's look like enough wide sit there you go don't let me say and that's really ideal especially for Greg bars because right where he's at on the left side of the fairway there's a really easy little forehand line Chris playing it smart just getting some really over stable and he'll keep it in balance well done Chris is sponsored by dynamic discs yeah there really wasn't a cloud in the sky today or that day doesn't look like it looks like the winds picking up a little bit yeah but it's such an open course you kind of already expect that it didn't really feel as bad as what Taylor's closer making it look like a lot of highs are on this oh I think that's stupid all the disk I think it did it skipped off a greg's disk I believe how unfortunate is that yeah Wow you know obviously he doesn't know that I mean that's pretty far down there but that needs to come back it looks like he's done what eagle is done if it gets around and I think he said if you say I think he's shaved yeah there's that Creek right there but it doesn't look like he went all the way in there faded back in there looking for needles just here you see got that green though and he's cleared it yeah could you imagine going double Oh be right there mm-hmm he's still gonna have long putt to save his par you know Chris with just a standard lefty you know maybe mid-range hyzer he's left his a little bit short as well you want to get around that tree and that green is a little bit dangerous as well because there's a hill that drops off behind the basket that just goes right down into some bushes so you can get some pretty nasty roll away so Taylor's gonna try to throw a hyzer over this gray looks like he's kept it nice and low he's got a little bit simmer down yep that's the hill I was just talking about he's found the grass there you know the tall grass they're talking about Taylor's Oh skipping off the disc yeah yeah yeah I literally just hit hit the disc dead center and skip right off I'm Greg with the free agency so from this distance you realized I've computed for your angle yeah so close you want to get right behind that tree no he's he's about 25 yeah Richard looks like there's no way he's getting the basket Sameer yeah he had a bomb but he just yeah it just didn't fade back far enough to get onto the fairway yes drive staying here good and he's going summer oh that and he's found the out-of-bounds that's yeah I was an interesting play a thumb route well I'm sure he thought he could easily clear it with a Hummer but those branches probably stopped his back or his follow-through and caused him to come up a little short and that's where it's for he still got some more to do from there you know he's gonna have a little bit of a tester to save his 5 and eagles just gonna weigh up that was a great show yeah smart play hey looks like he's like barely flicks his putters then yeah out of his hand yep you just got it down and this is a dangerous putt here mmm not quite enough pies are on yep and he might have caught edge and rolled down that hill it and those plus were you putting around trees it always seems like he'd never played enough either on me but Oh Taylor just short he's gonna have to settle for a bogey as well so what so this for par this is for five for five yep with the OB on the green oh and he's been putting so good oh that's that's a surprising mix missed from Richard Gregg to get a stroke on the card couple strokes on some of these guys oh what a brutal spit out he needed that putt he's not gonna be happy with that Taylor just to save his five pot yeah Taylor's gotta be careful in this basket cuz he's a he's a Heiser putter you know yeah there's known as many chains to catch it chris is from Rogers Arkansas Rogers - so there's a lot of great courses out in Arkansas North Shore's it's probably not bad but that's way to go there yeah it's got some awesome yeah definitely check that out if you guys are ever in the Arkansas area all right hole five is gonna be a par four eight hundred and thirty feet and you really want to there's OB lining the right side and most of these guys will be throwing over that to get into a landing zone right in the middle of the fairway you ideally want to be a little bit more right on that landing zone because it's a pretty tight tunnel all the way up to the basket and you want to give yourself that the best angle possible as you can see here just the highs of lines wide open yeah there's no other line it looks like yeah not really I mean unless you want to throw a dangerous roller on that left side but I mean that's not not what you're wanting you as long as it fades back perfect and that is ideal positioning right there Chris got the massive 410 not surprising it's gonna swing good okay yep that's ideal as well it looks like Eagles lining up to Heiser as well you've got a full rippin to that the wind cut dropped it straight down mm-hmm but that is a crush it was gonna be in the absolute perfect spot yeah when you thought that hard you know nothing's gonna slow still you're just got too much yeah we got Taylor yeah this course really just tests your accuracy as long as you can keep it in the fairway and stay away from Obi's you're gonna have a pretty solid round and you just like that and Taylor is one of those guys that he doesn't even travel a whole lot but he'd be wanting some tournaments out of state for sure yeah people he's really good golf it's definitely one of the better players here in Tulsa along with this guy all right everyone say got four drives in really good spots yeah and as you can see right there that tight tunnel it's also pretty low as well so you just have to mash something low and hard slightly turning I can get some fade yeah it looks like it mm-hmm yeah and he's a little bit short there you can go with the middle here I believe so I'm gonna try and turn something over it looks like it's really an interesting line to get up to the basket you just have to hit it perfectly God and that just looks so difficult to do yeah he hit he hit those overhanging branches and just ended up left he's gonna have to pitch up and just take a you know nope oh not beautiful huh yeah pretty beautiful yeah I was perfect it looked like it was going into the bushes to the left okay yeah that was a good shot and when Greg and evil both are just right here so where the gap is so far so I mean they just have a lot better of a look at the basket it's like bags lining up the little turnover shop so mad I missed my opportunity to play this course there's all you in the ground yeah yeah I didn't get to play it either oh and this is looking perfect that's looking money yep yep right down that tunnel what's a putter from Eagle okay probably a bit but it's online and part or enough to yeah yep just gonna have to pitch up here is SAV rx3i throw something looks like it he's gonna be tapping in the par Taylor ended up a little bit left he's kind of behind these bushes so he's got a really interesting up shot does apparently well done yeah he wanted to keep it wide enough cuz there's those branches hanging right over the basket so as long as he got it over those branches he was good oh and Chris with what awesome putt that's well done I'm so happy about that he's faced up and he is in the mix with Greg and Eagle he's only two strokes back from Eagle now I'm enough well looks like Greg and Eagle they're birds as well though see if you can convert it and guys just $27 happen as well like it literally isn't happened yes you can joke around about it but it's it's bad yeah I got three birdies and two pars that is pretty well done by our lead card on this hole and we are on to hole six this hole is a par three 360 feet with OB carrying all the way down the left it's an island hole and there's also a creek to the right of the basket so you really can't throw a driver low or else it'll just skip right into the creek so you want something high stalling and have it just spike down right in there yep some guys will be throw-in the backhand as well to that right gap but it's not really ideal because left side is just wide open that's good little short but Craig's left it short he's gonna be about circles edge there Chris okay surprises going with the forehand here yeah especially with the lefty Heiser right there but looks ideal whoa yeah a little deep but should be able to make that putt he will McMahon lining up before him as well just making it look effortless it's got good height on it too oh and there's an ace ladies and gentlemen Wow 360 foot that's crazy he's just casually throwing a 360 foot or hand right into the basket he does gonna be I think so it look like it might have skipped right out of bounds so he was lucky to hit the basket there but that was an awesome shot I was actually right behind the basket and it was looking good right as if ended around the tree yeah I think this is still days right yeah I think so stoked about yeah yeah Congrats to eco there yeah awesome get him with the ace on the that's like oh yeah yeah he's he's gonna have a tap-in Brady they're not not nearly as good as Eagles but it was still pretty good shot how'd you put it out why deny the tree yeah well short a little short it's gonna be right there with Greg father this man out Richard only about 45 I said maybe even less than that you know just a little wide oh and this is a whole lot they're all wanted to I mean it's yeah it's right in front your face you should get it yeah this is a must get for the pros Gregg it's a liar yeah might have been a little headwind that kept it up but because he used that surprising lie and lob some right into the basket for that and yeah I kind of stay up in the air and Chris with the Miss as well miss opportunities in Seoul and just like that eagles gonna get two more strokes on the two guys that are trailing I'm trailing right behind them see if Greg can say this three he's taking his time hand side but saison yeah I'm sure that putt was a little bit nerve-wracking because yeah especially after watching the Eagle just throw it in not having to pot and Taylor with the park job it's got a little tap-in bird that's in about 23 all right hole 7 is I'm gonna be a par 4 it is 700 feet there's OB water carrying all the way right and it's the same water that was on the last hole just going the different door it going the opposite direction I'd say the safe play is gonna be throw forehand or turn over out left just so you can have a clearer look at the basket I might see some rollers as well which looks like looks like Eagles lining up one of those right now this hole looks let me set up for an roller yeah that looks like a perfect line look I'll straight that things going there that finally goes and that is a bomb so far I was probably about that was almost 600 feet cuz he's only got about 100 feet to the basket maybe maybe 120 he might have been just shorter 600 feet but that was that was an awesome roller by Eagle hailer just gonna throw something high and I had to really flippy disc yeah and he's gonna be in a little bit of a tricky spot he's right behind that tree laying down roller as well that was really good now when is pushing hard look at me he had just he just outdid Eagle with that one and they're gonna have just super easy up shots to get there birds cuz she's just pump them on out there but it looks that was that way right no way right but it is I'm not sure her than he wanted to be that's the trees to deal with - looks like Richards line up the role that are a big Annie roller it is think he's going OB o gonna work shot that'll work right Ansari written that wind isn't something that did it's that wind is going very we are now Chris is will skip shot yeah and that's perfect it's right inside the circle got these like my least favorite type of shots right there you got worried about your follow-through I'll be right in your hand yep yeah it's really easy to saw off the shots because more than they you get that subconscious paranoia towards the end of your follow-through and your psyche then yeah you kind of release it early you can't block it out either it's it's in the back of your head yeah that's a great shot there came Greg it's just a little putter up shot after an awesome Drive he's trying to throw it in it looks like no ma'am it worked out obviously I just short here we got Chris bird I believe you got that played out in hungry yep is this a star frame crush up the bird richer with the bird Gregg with the bird mm-hmm actually Taylor I think doing yeah yeah but yeah I thought those ones I couldn't figure out he Alice that's still well well done by the guard at all almost 700 foot part there you can't complain whole eight is a par three as well it's 365 feet and this one is there's lots of OB you've got the OB green along the fairway come on by the left side right before the basket and you got the water carrying all the way down on the right side but what else and the same OB as well yes the sand is OB as well and so yeah you'll see a lot of these four hands oh man you might see a hyzer over the OB water we'll see what these guys look out and that's a little bit wide yeah well I think just flipped up when des writing yeah sure whatsoever and Gregg's lining up the Heiser over the OB oh no okay okay it's fine right yeah he's left that little bit was a little sketch cuz it could have skipped right onto the green but he's still gonna have a look at the basket and I expect a little downhill here on this hole just pump out a huge Heiser it's looking nice pretty good right I got a big skip off that green oh yeah that's perfect he's nestled right there inside the circle and Richards got some full some forehand powers well yeah he does oh look like he'd rolled his wrist low but yeah he turned that over and he is he's found the Obi and I'm sure he is just so upset about that yeah that's all that's pretty one oh yeah especially on this hole I mean as long as you throw something over stable and eats and you got to see Eagles for in-flight yeah and it's oh man and Taylor is going straight into the water he is gonna have to reach it from there you hate to see that it's like he's corrected inside my line on that down yeah okay that's just fine my car complete and save his bogey there oh my god oh yeah got to last round trailing Engel by three I think I'm kind of shot that down yeah well half go yeah because there wasn't anything too treacherous about that but I mean Oh Taylor needed to get it up just a little bit he's gonna have to tap in for the double bogey he hasn't quite found his puck this round hopefully we can find on the back nine Richard just on the inside and Chris's yeah one of the few that that's guys putting dialed in yep yeah he just got a stroke on Greg and Eagle so he's happy about that everybody else tapping in their powers and that's surprising to see from the lead card only one birdie all right on to whole nine this is gonna be a par four 730 foot it's basically another layup layup hole you want to get right in the dead center of this fairway there is OB on the left and right side of the cart path so as long as you throw something straight that'll end up in the middle of fairway you'll have a pretty easy up shot to the basket yeah enjoyed the option out where he might come just in trouble oh man that this was overstable he's that look like a let's turning straight over he cranks his flaps yeah but there's the basket right there and he's gonna have an easy little forehand up he was just gonna do a little hyzer flip down the middle or what he ad that's that's what I'm guessing got so much power and that is turning over really nicely oh my god that's so more crushed that look at baskets is running from his face he's got about 200 feet left to be 30 men he's the turnover but he's gonna be in bounds as well he's gonna have some trees to contend with yeah right in front of them so should be an interesting up shot at it I can't imagine it was trying to be down there I'm sure you want a little more journalists disc recruits cranking something over it's got too much energy still inbounds though let's tell have a look at the basket it just be a little bit longer that was great a little bit more that's great he's gonna be just short of Gregg shot and Richard gonna try with his like it might have too much turn nope that is perfect this job that's a great recovery shot by Richard because he was he was a solid 380 maybe even 400 feet away after shorting his drive and that was that was really well done put it right inside the circle yeah Taylor getting it up there as well Chris an ideal shot but he finds the OB Wow and that is unfortunate after his drive but that is just the dangerous thing with this hole is yes although your upshot yeah and that's looking better right now and he's left historic that side this for their Eagles just got a dead straight putter shot right to the basket he just mashed his drive that's so insane and he puts it right next to the basket Greg he's gonna need this but if he wants to keep up with Eagle Wang wook oh man yeah looks like a dude's bounced right off the cage and then spit out see if Kris can save his par any can that's well done that's not the result he wanted though but it was a good recovery he's got all the confidence in the world that putt right there Taylor he's got that ninja stance put yeah yeah and he kind of has the the Ricki Wysocki nose down mm-hmm yeah just kind of dives into the basket yeah that's that's a really good birdie from where his drive landed buddy else just happen in their parse all right that is gonna conclude the front nine of the final round of the 2018 Oklahoma Open we've got Eagle leading the pack by four strokes he is just killing it we'll see
