what is up everybody welcome back to the 2019 Mohawk Park open this is the second round coverage front nine my name is Gabriel down I'm here with Bobby Cox how's it going everyone as you can see Matt Bell shooting and absolutely ridiculous 16 down stupid wrong converse to back at 14 Richard why at 12 and then bow Tillman at 10 down so yeah very salty card should we should see some really salty golf as well yeah if you watched any gk videos last year you definitely know richard why oh yeah getting straight into it this is hole 1 par 3 335 feet pretty open hole really this front nine on Redhawk is a bunch of gettable holes and this is where you want to get your birdies for sure absolutely but most people here will be thrown a big Heiser around the tree on the right there is also a forehand Heiser as well and a middle gap so it's just whatever you prefer throwing yeah the big Heiser is kind of tricky because this tee pad faces a little more left than it needs to be so you really got a aim really far right to get on that tree and Matt Bell putting in a couple inches away yeah fill in that Hellfire yeah I'm Congo for the straight shot specialty it was pretty gusty out here so you're gonna see some layups on about 20 puns though yeah and that's not something you see ya very shocked seeing Bo be the first hole here yeah and Matt right here is talking about that disk that he actually during the break between rounds went to the UPS store just to pick that disc up that's Daisy that disc has steady Ed's ashes in it oh wow a blowfly and that's pretty awesome yeah it's pretty sweet yeah all right we are on the hole - this is a part 3,250 eight feet there's really there's a little putter slash mid-range gap on the right side and then there is also a forehand skip shot as well yeah they both are equally as popular yeah that pole on the left side kind of gets in your mind with the forehand I mean doesn't bother everyone obviously but yeah well Matt's going away huh yeah he's going away wide but yeah you can do like a little skipper oh that's that's what I usually do honestly yeah that worked out just fine oh yeah you should be able to make that putt yeah we might do the forehand eye team I tend to go like 40 feet long every time yeah you get some skip especially if you get past that little dip yep you can end up way back there by that bathroom and BOGO uh looks like a monster maybe something to fight that headwind yeah and that'll work the man rock on taking that eyes were out as well yeah I plated thrown in Vernon Texas last year and on that golf course yeah one of the nicest guys yeah he is so encouraging to on the course yeah yeah is our first time filming him it was good to have him on the card yeah Richard just leaving that wide I'm pretty sure that was a tailwind on that 200 right oh yeah oh he hit that white spot just like dead center and I just didn't that one catches ya yeah looks like we're gonna have three birdies or two birdies and two pars I still can't believe my bail Shaw 16 down line yeah that is like I know there was two temp holes that were easier than the holes taken out by like two strokes but still 47 I said oh yeah it's still 27 borderline 46 yeah if we if he would have gotten hole 13 which is pretty good Apple for these guys oh yeah and that bill just with a weird spit up there that's unfortunate all right we are on the hole 3 this is part 3 420 feet there is a big turnover line which most people will be throwing depending on the wind situation you will see rollers on this and then for the big arms you can throw something low on the right side but you really got to get on it and have it flip up yeah I said the debate all the way to the basket yeah the big ante is the way to go the man behind the a camp Blaine Williams he likes to throw that mass at turnover seems to work out for him quite often - yeah he's going up the middle yeah keep it low it works but it's sometimes hard key : that's a great great shot there I have a little bit of a head wind putt but he should be able to handle it that's looking turned over and there is OB over there but he hit the tree drop straight down yeah and Matt Whateley well yeah he's just gonna have to lay up for a three richard going with the forehand yeah he's taking the the easy part brooch yeah I guess the win wasn't really right for the big turnover because no one went for it yeah it's weird to see this is looking good though yeah it got the floods very fun oh my god monster forehand wait what yeah Richards wait well hence I didn't ask for hand gets better and better every round I feel like dude that was impressive yeah so good that's a big time forehand you know about 400 feet right yeah and we're on just barely caught that little ninja branch those are the worst it seems to happen more in the winter on sleep because you can't really see the branches yeah it's so skinny yeah and on a cloudy day like it was that day light doesn't like distinguish it right that's a little bit low from Richard that would have been a great - yeah those good putts got a wind drop at the end mm-hmm not saving his par yeah he loves that glow fly right this is his first tournament with DGA isn't it or no yes yeah I think it is yeah his first round with the all DGA bag he shot a 16 down a blackhawk steady I would be proud we'll probably be talking about that all around all the rest of the tournament you just never see that yeah and Beau and Richard tapping in for pars all right we are on the hole for this is a par 3 500 feet really you'll see a big turnover shot the roller is a pretty common play on this one depending on the wind and yeah I mean that's really all there is on this hole I just try to get in this open area right here yeah yeah it's if you get a 2 on it's a bonus bird yeah sure you're getting you're getting a stroke on the majority of the field absolutely so yeah we'll see what these guys do looks like those lining up turn over what are you trying to get it these old oh just their big turnover but Doyle has a favorite destroyer and is actually OB yeah that's surprising to see on this hole I feel like I've never seen it'll be on this hole before maybe I'm wrong but it's sort of happen it's hard to find it that's for sure and Ron is who just got that branch a stays in the fairway and you should be able to lay up and take a three Matt going a little bit lower that needs to flex back and it does get some nice yeah that's a great shot that's that's way up there yeah he'll have about a 35 40 footer Richard going roller into the headwind oh no that's leaking right oh no stop slow down that is out of bounds as well double OB - Oh bees that came I mean that that win must be nuts because that's that doesn't happen yeah such rarity tricky upshot tooth all these trees in the way yeah and through it just a little bit too high and it's gonna be the left with about circles edge putt yeah looks like he might have to straddle two away from that tree both looks like he's gonna fire bird skipping it away up there camera angle make it look like it's about to go in but alright well short rock on with an easy layup here be able to tap in for the three Richard this is longer than circles edge actually skip up that oh stop oh and that's not a good roll away he's gonna have about the same distance yeah it won't be on being a little bit short yeah just a little bit wide looks like he had a little bit of left-to-right wind and kind of kept it right here's Richard to save this thing not a good score but it's gonna live yeah yeah it could have been worse yeah good damage control there there's something with putting into the wind where it's like part of your brains thinking okay how can I make this putt without it flying like 40 feet past the basket you know right and you're also trying to make it so it's super Ord yeah but with a really uncharacteristic cage hit from about 20 feet yeah he's you did that a couple times in the first round which is very rare yeah he's usually super solid within 30 yep Imran Khan tapping in for the power yeah that's been wrong I'm taking apart here two pars and two double bogeys there's something wrong with that but yeah yeah interesting all right we are on the hole five this is a part three 285 feet very good of a hole there is a little skip shot on the right side there is also a dead straight shot and then a forehand line also double Amanda also double main though yes yeah very important the pole on the left is Amanda and on the right some endo yeah got a shoot it in between there ronk on going with turn over with something over stable that's a real nice boy perfect you know I've actually never even thought about that I can't tell you how many times I hit that trashcan on the left next to the next to the mando yeah just dumping it and Matt putting it nice and low and that is what you want I think that might been a quake one of those uh just super straight mid ranges it's looking a little sawed off and he finds of the tree there and he's gonna be left with about 45 50 feet from there yeah that's not the putt you want on the sole you use the forehand line and that's flipping up on it yeah and that's gonna be about pin-high but probably about 45 left yeah if you get any flip up on that forehand route it's you're not gonna finish it by the basket usually yeah especially me though as hard as Richard does yeah here's Beaufort the two just write online titlow yeah good line just too low there's Richard Oh slow it down you'd see that wind action that was dirty great putt great putt from Richard fun fact for people that don't live in Oklahoma this Tulsa Zoo is also on this in this park yeah so you can hear the monkeys go crazy while you're playing yeah that they were going crazy this thing dude like it's going up for so long I thought it ended up just being birds yeah I was like that way monkeys yeah some jungle golf yeah come with a good bird yeah this this we're gonna say no doesn't say this course really compliments Black Hawk and why not just like really well yeah it's like you got the tight wooded holes and then you got the read them yeah yeah but sometimes the bites in the book cause it's usually windy out here so right alright we were on the hole six this is a par three third and forty nine feet there is a road that carries OB all the way down the right side and then there is a mando right off the tee literally almost right in front of you it's a light pole it get and it gets in my head though it gets in your head but I mean the gap is insanely easy to hit but you back your head you know it's there and you do not want hit it stays right there yeah literally right there but in your backswing yeah most people would be throwing this shot over the road and have it skip up to the basket there is also a lower forehand line on the left side as well yeah and in the OB is the ropes not the actual road yeah nice shot pin on he's actually a little deep I wasn't that tree yeah it almost skipped straight into me don't let that thing hit you okay players do not take that nicely no Matt leaving it a little bit short I think he'll take it though yeah so let me strike within 45 you're pretty happy on this oh yeah when you put as well as Matt Bell does that's fine he's one of the best to do it Richard with a decent shot there he's gonna be left with a longer putt there probably longer than he wanted bow-gun with that really beefy destroyer caught a little lamb on the way down and it's gonna have a long putt here he's actually going upside down putter shot to lay up upside down you know yeah in just a little bit low though that step Hut is on point right now let me tell you whenever he makes like a solid putt he just keeps it going oh yeah for the holes after that yeah he once he finds the stroke it's their wrong time putters not feeling too hot right now yeah he'll settle for par yeah and like Gabe said earlier this this front nine is where you need to attack and he has many birdies as possible on this front ideally you definitely want to go nine down so there are some brutal holes in the back yeah you need all the strokes you can get yep that's usually like like how I play it too I'm like okay let me get like a pretty good security blanket because I know I'm gonna you know make some mistakes on the back and you know all right we were on the whole seven this is a par three 285 feet very low ceiling straight off the tee but pretty gettable hole the gaps pretty easy as well you really just want throw a straight mid-range you can throw a flip-up forehand you can kind of throw a shot like Ron did with something over stable kind of put a knee on it and have it get up there but yeah pretty easy hole for these guys yeah the most common mistake is just throwing it too high which is pretty easy to do and yeah we're turning it over yeah yeah we're turning it over but when he turned over so Shores like you're at least like putting yeah unless it's silly yeah yeah it's so annoying whenever you go right into those branches yeah and rock on going at this somewhere shoves the last hole so that looks like a criminal maybe it's some really over stable Oh ooh that that's really yeah barely stayed inbounds I'd be careful that you definitely don't want that long of a button oh and no you don't you want drop-ins only exactly yeah and Matt bail that is looking yeah kintel doesn't injure a driver I think that's my been a mid-range yeah it was turning super slowly mm-hmm he is Bo look at a doubt over yeah it's not gonna and he's gonna have a long putt so far we got four long putts yeah no one's waste surprising on the elbow no one's got an easy putt here Matt just laying up kind of giving it a half go yeah trying to fight that one with the ante putt here's Bo for two and you could tell right out of his hand that thing just went straight to the ground yeah that tail one just got ahold of it it was gone and then there's a head wound okay Richard what they get par save and we're actually think we got a little star power yeah I'm little surprised by it very surprised yeah my bells toll three strokes ahead you know he is holding on to that lead all righty ho late this is a par-3 435 feet you have the OB road that carries all the way on the right side but if you end up right up the little fence slash wires that is OB as well so most of these guys will be thrown a big Heiser over the OB road and you kind of want to have it crash in in between this gap these two trees up here but most commonly you see it end up a little bit short in front of the trees yeah just a basic geyser yeah Richard looks like a little early release there yeah early release where he was trying to play the web with flashlights yeah have it flipped over but I'd be laying up in there yeah definitely here on Kong bit way out there over the road he's gone away huh getting some nice flip up on that and that is fantastic it's actually really impressive how high that thing was yeah he's got the power no it's crazy it doesn't look like like even like the disc flying in the air doesn't even look that it's traveling that fast and you see where it lands it's like wait how do you get there yeah Matt is putting this way up there even higher than wrong Kong yeah you hit that tree it's gonna be about 50 60 short yeah which belt with that beefy red destroyer again he's gonna be pulling this out a law on the back nine I'm guessing a lot of really long open holes and he's gonna have a tricky putt there he'll have to put through that little V tree yep get up yeah yep this is Matt bail for two and that think he was just trying to lay that up I hope so because that was not pretty yeah if it was trying to go in if there's enough shots great yeah oh my god just totally early released that and is now left with about 30 foot headwind but yeah he exposed the bottom of the disc and that wind is like okay I'll take that for you yeah yeah and that doesn't long come back here you know he's gonna be taking a bogey on this airs a birdie from ronk on that is a great birdie yeah at the double-o bow shot seven down the front on just to show the comparison between these rounds yeah there's anyone that should be touring from Oklahoma it's Bo Tillman those hills hear it I'd like to see him more with those guys in kotas like kind of touring like he'll play like the big like Veterans Park open all the local stuff but yeah Kota also needs to just say screw it and just take take off right no all right we are on the whole nine par three 367 feet it's really just a straight open shot you can take a fairway driver and have it slightly flip up and ride a little right but I mean as long as you can get something straight and 367 feet you are good to go yeah that tree takes away the super easy just wide hyzer so yeah you got to go fairly straight just make a little bit harder ronk on thoughts gonna turn over but yeah got some stability to it oh yeah he likes that shot yeah it's kind of kind of like that Nikola Castro 25 yeah I like it though what that's good all really nice okay okay oh yeah I'll take that all day met bill staple up and it did not it might have skipped if it if it cut the edge of starting to fade but yeah I think just know just rate if not just turning though this is looking like a good shot as long as it gets a little skip and oh yeah that is pretty much a drop in yeah let's get a shot Matt for two this whole is a little bit swampy oh just caught the band Oh make you that way huh didn't he yeah that's crazy yeah Richard sneaking it in on that left side good putt by boat gentlemen now we're starting to see some birdies yep except Matt he's just giving him a chance to make it close for us alright first for us viewer she's gonna give him a shed of hope and then destroy the back nine get Barry from Ron Coan the putter is coming alive that belt will stay at 18 down and that is going to conclude the front amount of our second round coverage of the 2019 Mohawk Park open that Bell holding the lead at 18 down Ron converse
