what's up guys we are back with the final round coverage of the 41st annual Norman pro-am this is the back nine we are on the home stretch aside for the final nine yet my name is Gabriel bow and I'm here with Bobby Cobb how's it going everyone so far we've got code at Hatfield leading the pack still holding that lead strong the entire tournament just playing some great golf he is 17 under par one stroke ahead of Emerson Keith who is at 16 under par and then we got Marshall blanks and Steve manie's sitting at 8-under par they are still tied here yeah we got some guys on the chase card charging too so yeah so Marshall and JZ party and Beyond and beyond yeah it's a Stephen Marshall need that pick it up a little bit yep hole 10 this is a par 4 it is 429 feet the pond is on the left side most of these guys are either going to be throwing a forehand on the left side to get up to this clearing to give yourself a look for your upshot and then there is also the big flex over the top shot which I'm sure Emerson I'm just trying to get past those trees do that then your upshots gonna be way easier yeah and I was not a good shot by December so pulled that one way right nice probably end up crashing into that tree and it does that is a common thing to happen on this hole you just it's not bad to you know I speller gone and put you in a great position yeah looks like he was a little bit mad now I'm trying to give it a runs for the Eagle if I were just trying to park it I mean yeah it's 429 feet yeah that's it's very super uphill though yeah and you gotta thought really hard to get over those trees yeah it's a nice shot there like he's popping for a big stall shot Wow he is an 8 10 feet from the basket I don't where he was that that is really impressive and that's that's 1,000 plus rated golf right there that's why those guys are rated so high and see how they can do stuff like that yeah and I noticed on Curtis Drive if you actually laid down that towel first plant foot I'm guessing he was trying to go absolutely mad existence and you're not risking the slip just a little bit yes he's making like everything within like 25 in it's just the circle's edge to outside is we struggle quite getting these extra bernie day that kind of like two separate battles going on here I was gonna send out the beginning yeah we have to code on Emerson there's men within two strokes basically the last two rounds yeah and then yeah even Marshall it basically decides exactly actually really the painting oh right whole eleven part three two hundred fifteen feet that person fishing does play as Amanda just kidding but there is a double man though you do have to hit this gap there is no mando over the top though so you can throw the tomahawk or thumber whichever you're comfortable with and then there's the straight gap as well which you can throw with a mid-range or a fairway driver just really about hitting the gap yeah in that over-the-top shot actually plays pretty far because those trees are fairly close to the tee box you gotta get an extra high yeah see I mean you have to have quite a bit of power to get it there yeah and Emerson throw not a nice shot he's gonna be right next to that tree he might have to go to a knee there but we will see yeah there's a lot of possible awkward lot or yeah awkward lines near the screen yeah Kota tap-in birdie for him same his first round killing me right now this is looking really nice from Marshall we gonna have all four guys make that have to make that clearance there I'd be at first I'd be really yeah really nice shot from Marshall Steve let's go he does it awesome he catches the limb there and he's gonna be in a decent position I think that one ended up a little bit deep if I remember yep yeah in a common place to end up is also kind of down the hill on the left side of the basket to get any faint it's finished you really am looking at birdie at that one all the trees over there so it makes birdie this is gonna be Marshall for the birdie as well maintain that lead over Stephen but now they will tie it back up here household thanks poor there Marko's an unfortunate part as well cuddle with the ctp happen in the birdie now I've got two strokes alone ever since ending at 19-under par it comes them playing really nice golf all year long really yeah just super clean not making too many mistakes and yeah just keeping a clean hole 12 this is a par 3 270 feet as you can see the water does play the entire way and then the basket is on this hill here so the ideal play is gonna be either a forehand just kind of horse straight into that middle or you can throw the big knife Heiser spike right next to the basket yeah I think if you play this course quite a bit the back end Heiser's probably the easier play but if you're not quite used to the course I think the forehand is kind of jamming in there looks a little bit deep yes and that's a spot where you do not want to land because you're just facing that water it's very scary selphie illegal trickle down in that water person and kind of take a no bistro Emerson was gonna be pretty deep as well he's gonna have a scary put that's where you want to land that's exactly where you want to land no is pin-high does not have a death but ever sit with a nice run he left it a little bit 200 my badges soared into the middle of pond now that might've been like his go-to putter and that that's gone that could change everything you know right hopefully he has a backup that's just as beat in just as comfortable on his hand to you know make some good putts you got we got Koda here moving to 20-under par only one in the 2012 is he turning Marshall with a nice birdie there this is steeper tips bogey unfortunate and you know that's so frustrating cuz he got me nothing at this point you're trying to make the found on you have to run it you really need the birdie and yeah it's just so gusty right there and it just took off yeah hole 13 this is a par 4 it is 495 feet this is one of the tougher holes out here you've got two gaps you can hit there is a forehand or a lefty hyzer line on the left side over the pond which is a little bit more risky but there's definitely a lot more reward with it on the right side gap it's a little bit tighter but if you can keep your disc straight so you can give yourself a nice look at the basket you really just want to avoid being on that left side of the fairway once you clear the farm this is a fantastic shot from Kota he's right there in the middle a little bit more on that right side and he'll have an easy little cutter up shot from there hello this might be danger it's gonna clear it okay it's got enough this is that clears it and I think he ended up on that left side and that spot is actually not the greatest is this the worst it's yes it's the worst without going up oh yeah there's so many trees there yeah yeah it's it's not possible Emerson huge over-the-top shot yeah we see Metroplex in it all over the pond no nobody through that first round I can't remember Billy threw that or not by al-baqi did Stevi playing that forehand just perfectly I'm right I don't work he's gonna be about circles edge they're executing this whole perfectly just plan the stairs when they're around and have a tap-in birdie from there as you can see Marshall not only is in bushes on the left but he also has to throw through it thousand traders yeah he's you're about to say I'm not going to say 100 trees but a thousands for yet nothing more yeah yeah we saw Nick Nick Bob will really have some issues on the left side I mean he was hitting tree after tree after tree you've got nice time talking about with Steve he's not quite converting on those circles a circle light parts' nice pretty from there easy three as always a big shout-out to our coverage sponsor Demark if you guys are in need of some disk off disks they have a pretty pretty nice selection there and yeah they had some raffles going pretty often - so you can get some free free goodies yep hole 14 this is a par 3 it is 348 feet this hole is a little tricky the green kind of carries downhill towards the left you ideally want to throw something flat and low just kind of riding this crest of this hill off the tee to get all the way down there you do want to be careful of having something a little bit too stable because if you end up on the web side the rough fell on all these holes is brutal so singing the fairway is super important Emerson threw a fantastic shot just barely caught that last tree on the left still gonna have a putt but it's gonna be scary because it is downhill are so going with a big flush shot he make it all the way around it or see in that tree do you remember I believe he's in the church in it but he's in that because there's two trees there I think he's getting that gap to where he might have a little line on the pickup for his theory and Steve just overcooked that one not a bad spot he'll be able to lay out for the three from there yes Steve is really consistent with those a forehand up shots from about 200 n yeah pull there Oh My look at that flexibility man that is lucky that's as close as you can get to the splits without that we got a little bit in this ladies and gentleman on the card Marshall blanks yep not really but you know the recipe that was really nice Emerson really needed that burning there very uncharacteristic seven down to the round four cover is some nice Conant yeah some nice golf yep hole 15 this is a part three 390 feet this is a bonus birdie probably the hardest bone is ready on the course honestly there is this gap as you can see straight up the gut as long as you can hit this gap you'll have somewhat of a look but hitting the gap is the hardest part I really just want to throw a fairway driver or distance driver or something that'll just flip up watt and carry straight for as long as possible really yeah and even after you hit the gap I mean the second half of the fairway is fairly uphill - so start to get that height right yeah to get all the way up to the basket and coda clears the gap there he'll have a pretty easy up-and-down for his par Emerson trying to go for that big flag shot but that's just so hard to hit the gap is so tight and you have to throw it only perfect angle that gap always even their own that yeah it's it's it's so hard and is that water OB there's that casual um I believe it doesn't I think it's baby but he he Marshall was a short yeah still not the easiest upshot and Steve with it bomb he's gonna have a long look for his to next a gap he breaks out those drives occasionally near slice that come from yeah one from Kota at this point Marshall with a fantastic upshot puts it right next to the pan help you drop it in for par coder slaying up don't work steep just laying up as well I'm surprising this me I mean sometimes he's cook off like the field you know if you feel like you're not gonna make it why do it you know we don't have to risk everything see my things I always feel like I'm gonna make it and I mean you see that that's the correct mentality you've gotta execute that exactly the fine line is a very fine line I can cost you yeah couple strokes yeah you do tend to do some crazy stuff that sometimes doesn't work out sometimes it does I'm just like that wasn't saying huh and that's why I'm behind the camera that's right same here yeah a whole sixteen this is a par three it is three hundred and eighty seven feet this is one of the more treacherous holes on this course as you can see there is water all along the left side and the island is very small on the left as well if you're playing for the birdie of four hands in play you can throw a knife hyzer like hole thirteen but as you can see Kota playing the safe a lot of play which is smart considering his position and he'll be able to lay up into 30 there yeah I think before the tournament started he liked that was his game plan he was playing this whole save everything around you know not gonna not even worry about it yeah he told me he was there's another pin position there you'll see when Cody gets up good shot with mulch around it and he said he was aiming for that knock on all rounds just to take the three which is really smart because this hole is where your opponents will make mistakes oh dude this hole has to average like close to a five yeah let's see if maybe and this is Emerson he's got to make the birdie here and see that's Anthony if you hit the top of that little Peninsula you're skipping you have to hit the hillside he's popping to reach for the drop since it's honestly just as hard it's not harder yeah oh no and that is the worst of events is team four five right here's absolutely has got to get this on he's gonna be tapping in for six Wow and that's why coda does this play is exactly why Cody business play and awesome this crazy first round we saw three of the four guys on our card put it within like 10 feet yeah and then code it was the only you know straggler dollars on that right side yeah that was obviously intentional from them and Steve another flight not yeah not quite converting on that birdie fortunately is from Marshall as well Wow I believe Steve did stand he did okay and he will stay at 8-under par we got Marshall sitting at 10 and I'm sure if Emerson is just sick to his stomach right now yeah no way I mean there's only two holes left and yeah it's not what luckily after that first round he has such insane separation between him and the field that he has a good enough cushion to make the final nine stay on hole 17 this is a part three 256 feet it is one of the easier holes out here at Lyon's Park you're really just throwing a sharp spike hyzer through this skinny gap here that I mean the angle just kind of matches with the gap that you have to get so that's what I feel like that's what makes it easy to hit because because you just kind of match your disk so they can go into various and just get it nice and high and make sure you don't throw it too hard or you will end up or marshals that right here and that's that's a tough spot because there's jail behind the basket he was gonna have to pitch around four and three and that should be about twenty out long didn't skip more down the left yeah never sinned he has gone a little deep as well and Marshall over this is gonna be pitching up to three yeah this basket for almost like shrubbery out of all the holes out here around it yeah just pitching through the trees didn't really have a kind of line ohto is weird miss there yeah I call that shank from him oh yeah that's Emily shank used to usually got those all day Steve with the park job for the Bernie it's got the lone birdie on the car that's very surprising as all right last hole of the third round it is hole 18 par-3 390 feet this is basically just a repeat of hole 1 but harder the gap is harder to hit the gap the initial tunnels a little bit further the baskets further away and the rocks stand taller to guard that basket and you really just want to clear this gap have something flip up flat maybe get a tiny bit of turn on it to get that max distance and because you really have to throw it low yeah I mean you're always trying to gotten open and Steve obviously hit those trees and you can be in a really tough spot yeah put it he hits the tree on the left there and he's gonna get a tough spot as well and no one's executing the shot so far at the left side as well there we go and we're saying this is looking really nice and even that's not in pin-high close but he's not the best look up Steve going Olson was forehand roller it was intentional I I'm not a hundred percent sure but if it was that was fantastic yeah let's go ahead and give him the credit that was a nice for I know of there Steve awesome Marshall just flicking one up there and this looks really sawed off yeah they riot and way short it's gonna be a long putt to save his three just barely hits the beam there well the to have a good commitment from Marshall there and that was I all know the say behind I mean I know it's windy in Oklahoma but that was just like not even close not used to seeing very surprising to see a really nice par save 21 par this is Emerson yeah not not the back nine he wanted this for sure definitely not very unfortunate okie from Emerson age eight strokes off from Conan ah that's pretty incredible yeah and only one stroke back starting the ground those last three holes you know Steve with an unfortunate bogey as well I don't move him to 8-under par hey and that is gonna conclude the final round of the foyer first annual Norman pro-am so far Kota Hatfield is absolutely killing the field emerson with an unfortunate break there on the last four holes he is sitting at 13-under par eight strokes back of Kota Alex Savage getting back in the mix I mean after that am win coming here and making the final nine that is fantastic and he's got and then we've got our local pro and good friend Randy's for sander shooting the hot round at Northeast Lions Park for the entire tournament shooting 848 so Saul's making his way to the final card we got Clayton Lawson GT Hancock and Daniel Stacy making the final night as well so we're gonna have some heard golf for you guys beside my car
