what's up everybody we are back at you with our first tournament of 2019 this is the winter warm-up presented by dynamic discs my name is Gabriel down I'm here with Bobby Cox I was going everyone and oh yeah we've got some fun little courses here it's played at two different courses this first round is gonna be at Leonard Elle Woods Park in Lewisville Texas it's pretty flat and pretty open course yeah it definitely tackles for sure yeah lots of - opportunities and whole one here this is going to be a par 3 super short 165 foot hole there's a really small gap right in the beginning of the fairway there and I mean as long as you hit that have it softly Heiser to the left you are gonna have your - yeah that's pretty much exactly what you want to do is just a slight hyzer with a putter most likely maybe mid range and yeah get as close to you can hear we got Trevor har Bolt not James Conrad yeah that's looking oh my gosh can you imagine starting off with yeah freaking ace that get your confidence going here we got is it deci it's DC DC is ICS has B he is from Temple Texas which is about two hours south of Louisville okay cool we all know this guy Emerson Keith you know this is our second time filming time I believe yeah it is had him out at Buffalo run yep good to have him on the card again we gotta be able to tap in his to you there yeah here we got lane denied sponsored by Heiser bum yep also his second time with us as well I believe he was on the first round Oklahoma open yeah that's right and he threw this pretty low but it's scooted up there quite a bit yeah I mean really as long as you hit the gap you're gonna have a putt and that was a great pop IDs yes sir definitely want to start the round with a bird on this one yeah it's probably one of the easier ones out here yeah and laying in with the good putt yeah the tricky thing about this course is joy is keeping him bounce when you say yeah it's definitely hard is really the only danger yeah there's not not too many trees baskets are a little old so yeah be careful with your putts but and that yeah it's pretty tackle except we're starting off with a starboard wouldn't expect anything less from our future card right Emerson sponsored by latitude all right we are on the hole - this is gonna be a par 3 400 feet it really is just a big forehand or turn overshot nothing too dangerous if you do end up left of this little creek here which is pretty hard to do that is out of bounds but I'm not not too crazy again this course is pretty open so um yeah as long as you get it out there and have it get to the right you'll have a look yeah I would definitely be taking the 4a in here yep be careful with that Sidewalk just right of the basket looks like no one's kind of heading towards it but he stays inbounds yeah he kind of squeaked under those branches there he's going to be about 4550 out yeah if you're gonna do the turn over you really gotta play it wide and Trevor looked like he just turned his over just a little bit too much there yeah he's hanging out wise up a little bit short and this guy's got the power to get there oh yeah I heard somebody say pound-for-pound Manabu Kaji oma is the furthest thrower but I think Emerson Keith has he's up there yeah he can he could contest that for sure page Pierce as well all right yeah that's a pretty normal spot to land yeah he's gonna be bout 60 short there Trevor's just laying up Trevor sponsored by dis craft Decius just laying up as well and man the conditions out here for this round were absolutely perfect yeah there was no wind and I mean like really for how open this course is you don't want any wind at all and it's it's it was literally the perfect conditions for this course yeah you're gonna see these players kind of shedding some clothes off later in the round but even like right now it was only like what 45 and yawning yeah it was perfectly fun yeah after a couple days of freeze down here in Oklahoma that was really nice to be a pro down there yeah and some warmth yeah our first tournament pretty tournament filming in Texas sneaks that through there yeah it doesn't look like we're gonna see any birdies on this hole it's a pretty tough birdie hole lastly yeah it is because I'm a forehand 400 foot hyzer with the four hands pretty difficult mm-hmm not everyone can do that looks like a star par yeah all right we are on the hole three this holds pretty shorts 246 feet there is the Creek that carries our on or carries all the way down the left side there there are a couple guardian trees on the right side but as long as you get to the left of them maybe throw a putter dead straight or you can throw forehand as well pretty easy hole yeah use guide be careful not to put a little too much on it and sneak over yeah be pretty easy to do yep yeah you definitely want to be wary of going long especially cause that hill back there mm-hmm yeah I think the putter just race the way to go and that's fine for knowing we're gonna do something crazy like this it's a little short but um we have a 20 on a nice shot there's that Boston Bruins justice that Emerson throws all the time it's gotta be his favorite disc and that'll work that's one thing I'm still trying to figure out how to do is flick mid ranges for some reasons like they stick on my finger a little bit too long it's all form I know it's kind of scary part just a little low you didn't want to run it too much I guess I don't know just kind of didn't put enough on it yeah oh look grip lock look like yeah that's surprising to see Emerson actually he this is this is the third tournament of the season and he's coming into this tournament two for two won his first two tournaments he's got some confidence going with yeah yeah we'll see if he can get a turkey out of this out of this tournament here do you see us with the nice birdie also landed night oh gosh no I didn't see that actually because I had already started walking to the next hole yeah I mean these baths hey you really got him perfect that was a little bit hand side and he paid for it and that's that's really unfortunate I didn't I did not see that that happened yeah hopefully won't see too many more of those no no definitely not all right we were on the hole for this is a part three 410 feet it um it's pretty similar to hole to you're just throwing a big turnover shot or a big forehand the Obi's are pretty pretty tight here there's that Creek on that left side and then that sidewalk to the right of it is gonna play OB so you really can throw a big towering shot over the top if you got the power but this is what we'll see here yeah and in that yalena kind of hello it looked like he might have his front foot got stuck yeah and just to the right to the ground yeah he's he's only about 510 feet in front of the basket yeah not as nervous mom in front of the tee pad yeah this is probably one of the more dangerous holes out you're I'd say because it's really easy for that turnover to fade out OB and just like that oh yeah yeah no one's found the OB about 80 to 100 feet short of the basket this needs to get off the tree Oh barely stayed inbounds there never sitting gonna be throwing the big turnover shot I lost looking really nice he's looking good if it stays turned over well he went deep yeah he's gonna be about 4550 deep just landing up to that mist throw on the the drive that oh and that was definitely going to be yeah I hit that true yeah that was a good tree he's still gonna be left with about 3540 feet for his for yep where's three is three yes three yeah yeah you go advanced yeah yeah that's right I was actually really nice up shot by Nolan from the drop zone right there that's actually drops on mmm-hmm yeah we got the easiest to go three down who hits one chain nose it stays in yeah great putt by Decius we have Emerson up for that bogey on the last hole and just caught that branch I'm sure he wasn't thinking about that because those are pretty skinny right you know I mean from that distance especially his putting style I'm sure he wasn't thinking about it at all yeah no one taking that unfortunate bogey there you're really kicking yourself in the butt taking bogeys out here mm-hmm and landing with a bogey as well Decius is now three or two strokes ahead of Trevor and Landon yep playing solid golf yeah all right we are on the whole five this is a part three it's four hundred feet and really the only OB here is gonna be right of the sidewalk in the bridge and then in the creek there but I mean really just wanna throw a big Heiser out there I mean you could really have something flip up flat and as long as it crashes back into that island green you'll be looking at it - yeah it's pretty hard to reach the basket got a pretty big arm that's pretty common right there hitting that tree if you go for the highs reply but he stays inbounds yep so is is on that Sidewalk OB or no I think so yeah and I was pushing though beyond the left he stays in this is looking really good Wow oh yeah why it's that's perfect Drive Park job we've got land in and yep safe there really anything past that sidewalk you're happy with yeah I hope you just outside the circle there no one just kind of early released this one yeah he was wanting a little more turn out of that and they just kind of faded away from him still looking at the basket though yeah he's he's just Elena finally missing a boat you're right oh oh oh yeah slow-mo that back great putt from land in there I'm like what 50 60 yeah that was probably 45 because that sidewalks not that quite that far from the passkey just needed to get that one up yeah and you're not you're not too mad about a par on this hole no there's plenty of gettable two's I hear you're not really stressing about this and a great little tap-in birdie from Emerson indicia stays at three down hole six we are on or it is a par 3 333 feet and you're really just throwing a big Heiser out around the right side of these trees on the right here and then really just want to have it preferably hit a little bit earlier on the green because there is OB behind the basket and a hill to kind of funnel that into that Creek there so I really just want to be careful of going long here and I think the higher you go the better odds you're gonna stick by the Greens yeah Oh barely finding the out of bounds there that's looking pretty good from Nolan right there you can slow down though OB yeah it was him bounce for a second it was slid back downhill yeah we have Decius on that early release yeah that's sawed off he knew it immediately - mm-hmm I just have to lay up and take a three tribe is going up into the clouds yeah this is this is the play right yeah it's a good shot there yeah you really want to get that angle on the disc make sure it spikes down yep this one's looking pretty good yep yeah there's a player on the card behind us that actually chained out on this hole really for the AAC I change right now Wow smashed it it was a good little layup from Decius here's Emerson four three nice putt and Emerson definitely puts a lot of velocity on his putts yeah he does which is the reason why he makes a lot but sometimes you will get some spit outs that way - good par saves there and no one with the birdie gonna put them at one down a CSO stay at 3 and Trevor move into two it looks like alright we are onto a whole 7 this is the only par 4 out on this course it's 460 feet it's I mean for these guys it's a very very global hole for sure I really just want to throw something out flat and maybe have a slight right turn to it and have it crashed back into the screen the only OB is gonna be this Creek here down to the left and I'm not sure are the rocks OB I don't know I'm assuming so easily so have a safety thing yeah when I avoid the rocks but yeah so um yeah we might get to see maybe one or two twos on this hole yeah and that sidewalk in front of the basket is not OB should I start with Austrian yeah I look at you glands right on it yeah that's fine right there that's about 40 feet I thought I overcooked it but it's come back I'll get short yeah it's a little while can't quite get the full flight out of it ever since no I'm big here oh that was gone that was gonna be pin-high yeah and that just barely caught that branch yeah no doubt that was gonna be a birdie ranch yeah here's Landon sneaking around yeah I was a great line got it up ha I got another yarn out of it and got the full flight great shot yeah Andy see this it's gonna be right around and Emerson and Nolan oh good run there's a little high Emerson needs to kick into gear and that is not how you kick it into gear and no one from about 60 feet mm-hmm it's looking good yeah and there is the eagle Heisey rubber to put him at 4-under par jump Decius mm-hmm yeah land is not too happy about that one he really wanted the eagle yeah but he'll tap in a birdie to put him a 3-under par and I believe Emerson Decius and Nolan will follow suit yeah this is I mean it price should be a part three what'd you say yeah I mean really this yeah I don't see how I mean for these guys is pretty hard to part it you know yeah he's gonna be birding it cuz they all had looks yeah and I mean form for that tree Emerson what I had a happen yeah assuming he didn't go long yeah exactly alright we were on the whole eight this is a part three three hundred seventy feet as you can see the Opie's or I'm gonna be that Creek down the right side and then the sidewalk to the left this basket is gonna be all the way down right in front of this bridge here this green is pretty treacherous it's the the hills pretty steep surrounding it so you want to have something that spikes preferably more so on the left side of the green yeah really the whole fairway is sketch and yeah you definitely be landing the left side of the basket which does give you kind of a sketchy look for your putt but it's everything gonna be off your drive mm-hmm and Trevor just left has a little bit short there no one playing with like says doing the same thing do not think Emerson Wow helped a little bit too high but yeah he's pretty flippy disc it wasn't regular a little bit more turn there yeah surprise didn't fade way more than that honestly mm-hmm I was hang-up that that was going to be yeah yeah he's gonna he's gonna have to lay up there cuz there's no running that putt this looks great if you can stay up yeah curated it over that Creek curl up curl up nah yep that'll work Decius looks like he got get him out of turn he's getting greedy get over there that's living on the edge right there yeah that's gonna be a very uphill putt yeah got a good skip off that concrete and I mean you'd rather have that uphill putt than the putt towards the OB shelter ooh that was a great run even though he almost fell by Trevor Emerson recently no nothing to do with that OB yeah there's no reason to run that yeah oh my gosh he's a party she is he is a putting machine yeah that's a great putt plan and just left it a little bit left yeah oh man and lucky kind of baby that yeah there's just one of those things kind of overconfident on that that short putt and you're just like I got this but yeah I've done that just Gillian's at times oh yeah stupid amount that's how you learn your lesson though alright we're on the hole 9 this is gonna be a par 3 260 feet it's super open hole you really just want to throw a little Heiser over the trees on the right side you can throw a big Heiser over the trees on the right side you can throw a straight mid-range shot there's really nothing nothing too dangerous about this hole aside from the OB behind on that left side there so yeah you can really just do whatever the hell you want that's looking a little short that's a good line now you got Trevor yeah you got a little bit too much turn but it's up there yeah he's right there always right there okay now hunt I thought I was totally fine yeah spawn Emerson is going for the big spike hyzer yeah he's trying to break the basket tombstone just short he's gonna be about 40 short Landon's playing a low skip play and it actually crawled pretty far out there shall be known yep there's Decius from about 50 feet Landen para landon that is landed that is come on hmm just a little bit left again here's Emerson from about 45 feet out low ceiling no oh yes but great putt from Emerson there he really needed that very really died yeah yeah yeah that was a crucial putt for him yeah it's kind of a slow front nine for him mm-hmm long characteristic yeah just left a little bit left that's a confident putt right there we got Trevor for two oh yeah it's gonna put Trevor at five down and that pretty good fresh front nine yeah that's from him and ECI brandies yeah both the easiest his putting was a saving them mm-hmm unfortunate power by landon indicia settling for the par as well yep and that is gonna conclude our front nine so far we have Trevor and Decius leading at five down just hitting their putts and their own good shots off the tee Emerson Keith and Linden
